GM The Lighthouse Star Knight could not help but chuckle slightly at Moon-Moth’s inadvertent joke. "It is a pleasure to meet you Myothizar A'lira." She replied as she shook Moon-Moth's hand before shaking Paradigm's in turn. "I am glad I could help Paradigm. While we have thankfully been spared any trouble with the Spectrum Knights, it is certainly something we are happy to try to help address." The golden armored Star Knight led the two Praetorians into the central corridor of the Lighthouse, the pair passing a number of other human technicians along the way, who could not help but stare slightly at the two aliens. "The meeting will take place down in Freedom City in the League's original headquarters. We have teleporters here on the Lighthouse that can take us down. It will allow a more discrete arrival. People on Earth can get a little touchy sometimes when aliens just descend from the sky out of the blue." Downtown Freedom City "Well, while I believe that you are the one they most wish to speak with, I would not say they 'want you." Mr. Leonard replied to Aquaria's comment. "They have specifically stated this is only to question you as a witness, not to build any sort of case against you." The attorney then turned back to Jessie as he added, "but I believe Aquaria is right. They will likely ask you some questions, but she is likely to be the focus, so you should be able to leave earlier if necessary."

Amara could not help but smile slightly at Myothizar's last comment. "I believe the phrase is 'come in peace' my friend." She commented before focusing back Star Knight. "Greetings sri Montoya. I am Amara Val-Ren, also known and Paradigm and current Imperatrix of the Praetorians." The Naram extended her hand as well after Star Knight had shaken Moon-Moth's. "Thank you again for helping to arrange for this meeting. Hopefully we will be able to learn something that may help us in containing and dealing with the Spectrum Knights." Amara added. "And we appreciate the assistance of the Freedom League in facilitating this as well."

Surface of Galor III, Yollon City The more normal humanoid pirates began to spread out, some starting to climb the rocky barrier Moon-Moth had created, others trying to find if there was a way around the barrier. Five aimed their blaster pistols at the Praetorian and opened fire. Most of the hail of blaster fire missed him, but two blasts managed to strike his forcefield. Shell came running over in her power armor, having to climb up onto the rocky barrier as well. But the power armor's sudden appearance certainly made the pirates that had climb onto the rocks question the wisdom of their decision. Orbit above Galor III As Cavalier caused the pirate ship further damage, the last interceptor came swooping back toward the Star Knight, opening fire as it drew near. But once again the attack was well off target, as Cavalier moved out of the way just in time, and the interceptor rocketed past him.

Okay, five pirates open fire on Moon-Moth with their blaster pistols, 19, 8, 6, 24, 13, so two hits and the rest missed. Two DC 20 toughness saves for Moon-Moth. Round Eight 28 Shell (bruised) 20 Pirate Pilots (1 in space) 20 Moon-Moth (unharmed, 3 HP) 12 Pirate gunners 8 Tough pirates (4 on planet) 7 Mater Vyrdna (unharmed, 1 HP) 5 Cavalier (bruised 2, 2 HP) 5 Pirates (many on planet) Shell moves over and climbs up onto the rock near Moon-Moth. The remaining pirate interceptor will attack Cav again, missing with a 15. Moon-Moth is up! (assuming he makes his toughness saves and/or does not need to spend a HP to recover any daze).

Velocity had been sleeping in one of the tents they had set up and woken up quickly enough, getting her costume back on and then aboard Peagaus to warm it up just in case. Once the spaceplane was prepped for departure, she was back outside to where the others were gathered, listening to their concerns. "Well, I will defer to the scientists on whether or not we should leave now or stick around a bit." The speedster stated. "So far it has only been some tremors, and whatever that silver thing in the crater might have been. Nothing seems too dangerous, not yet anyway."

The Fens, Freedom City, New Jersey April 5, 2016, 9:25 PM It was a typical Tuesday night in Freedom City. While the full nightlife of downtown and other areas around the city were not at the levels they achieved over the weekend, the restaurants and some other venues were still doing good business. But in the southeastern corner of the city know as the Fens the streets were a lot more dark and deserted. While the waterfront bars and adult bookstores that tended to littler the area were open, they were far from crowded. Those that lived in the area tended to remain inside come nightfall, inside the often rundown, low rent buildings that made up most of the Fens. While the FCPD had been trying to step up efforts to patrol the Fens and "clean it up," there was still a fair bit of crime in its shadow alleys and streets. As such, it was not uncommon for some of the city's costumed heroes to be out patrolling the Fens. Indeed, the desire to try to help the troubled area had brought three separate heroes to the dark rooftops and alleys of the Fens this evening. Cassidy Bauer, also known as Bonfire, lived in the Fens, so he saw the crime and difficult conditions that the area suffered from on a daily basis. James White, aka Quantum Shift, was a newcomer to this dimension, having arrived from an alternate Earth. But that did not stop him from using the abilities he had gained from alien experimentation to try to help the people of his adopted new home. Jason Draco was a Freedom City native, although he grown up in North Bay, the part of Freedom City as geographically and economically opposite the Fens as possible. Having been away from Freedom City for seven years, Jason found the Fens little better than it had been when he had last read about it. Now, as Eternal Dragon, he could possible make at least some small difference that might change that. All three were moving through the shadows of the Fens when the shrill sound of police sirens echoed over other noises of the city. Not long after, a loud *BOOM* reverberated through the air, rattling windows as it seemed to echo from the edge of the area that bordered the Theater District.

Each of the men and women gathered in the room introduced themselves as Jason took to the time to greet them and shake their hands. Most were in the mid to late-thirties and clearly rather bright and talented. Dr. Parsons was the last one to be introduced, and was in his early fifties with greying black hair. Although he was a bit stiffer in his greeting than the others, he shook Jason’s hand before they returned to their seats. "Alright, now that introductions are taken care of, why don't each of you just give Jason a quick summary of your departments." Stone stated as Jason took an empty seat next to him. "I am sure he will be arranging time to get to know each of you and your teams better in the coming weeks after he has had a chance to review the more detailed summaries you have prepared, but he has a lot on his plate for the rest of the day." Over the next half an hour each of the directors gathered provided Jason with information on their various departments, which included research and development, quality control and testing, human resources and public relations. When that was over, they all made their way back to their respective offices, while Stone and Dr. Parsons began Jason's tour of the building.

While Torpedo Lass pushed the police boat about, the officers helped the protestors aboard and soon they were moved out of the way of the Horizon. However, all of that took time, and during that there was another loud crash from the vessel, as Tundra damaged the ship's engines, causing its massive propellers to stop turning. The Horizon began to visibly slow, and drift at an odd angle as its self propulsion halted. The tub boats that were assisting began trying to stop the large vessel from going out of control, but were struggling to do that. Tundra appeared in the air again, flying high above on a large boulder. She paused a brief moment to be sure the Horizon was not in any shape to continue, before flying off back toward the ocean. The tug boat that had been guiding the Horizon along from the starboard side had moved back around and helped "catch" the aft port side of the large vessel, and along with the other tug, and were trying to slow its momentum as it drifted towards the protestors dangling from the bridge.

Although Oskar managed to stop the Xeno's spin, there was nothing he could do to stop its descent to the planet below. The damage and power fluctuations gave him no trust to work with. When it came to it, he believed that at best he would be able to make a controlled crash and limit further damage to the ship. The ship's powerful sensors swept over terrain beneath them, but Oskar was only able to half pay attention to the data that streamed over the monitor. He could see that there appeared to be some life signs below, but there were no major concentrations like one would expect from a city or even towns. He noted some small bodies of water in the region they were headed toward, but even when they had first approached the planet, it was pretty obvious that there were no large oceans like on Earth. As for energy signatures, he only was able to catch a couple of locations with any significant energy output.

GM The Lighthouse Star Knight Maria Montoya stood waiting just inside the Lighthouse as the two Praetorians entered the airlock and it cycled through pressurizing the chamber to allow them into the space station. While Maria had not worked with any of the Praetorians during the Incursion, she had heard from other Star Knights who had. And of course she knew Cavalier, who was the Star Knight's representative on the team. "Welcome to the Lighthouse." She stated as the cycle finished and the inner door slide open. "I am sri Montoya, known here on Earth as Star Knight." A short distance from Freedom Hall City Center, Freedom City, New Jersey Aquaria Innsmouth and Jessie White were riding in the back of a van on their way to Freedom Hall. Seated back there with them was a young attorney from Project Freedom, Bill Leonard. Bill was in his late twenties, with light brown hair and was dressed in a grey suit. "Okay, so I understand that these...'Praetorians'...are just wanting to interview you as witnesses, so there should not be any concerns with answering their questions. But if for any reasons I think there are questions that could cause either of you some problems, then I will raise an objection and we can see if things can be worked out that they can ask some other question that does not have the same problems. Similarly, if any of the questions are troubling to you and I have not spoke up, feel free to look over to me and ask to speak with me in private."

High Earth Orbit The Lighthouse March 8, 2016 Amara Val-Ren slowed her velocity considerably as she drew close to the blue and green planet that was the third from this system's star. The young Naram, known to many throughout the galaxy as Paradigm of the Praetorians, had been to this system before, but this was the closest she had been to Terra, the world so famous (or infamous depending on who you asked) among a number of the major spacefaring civilizations of this era. Soon she was going to have an even closer look at the planet, but first certain protocols had to be followed. Amara's right arm was wrapped around her teammate, Moon-Moth, as she flew them both through the void of space. The pair had arrived in the system a short time ago, by way of the wormhole that now connected it to other parts of the galaxy. They had made a brief stop at the small space station the Freedom League maintained to monitor the wormhole, to arrange for their arrival at the group's main headquarters in orbit around Terra. It was this large station that the two Praetorians were now drawing near. The reason for their visit to Terra was to interview two natives of the world regarding the time they had spent among the Spectrum Knights in that group's original headquarters. The interview had been arranged with the assistance of the Star Knights, which had a representative both in the Praetorians and the Freedom League. The Freedom League would be overseeing the interview at a facility they maintained on the surface of Terra. Amara fully understood the need for having the Freedom League as an intermediary in this, given the misunderstandings that had taken place when the two Terrans had been discovered among the Spectrum Knights when a joint Praetorian/Star Knight task force had managed to assault the Spectrum Knight headquarters, a task force Amara had led. Slowing even further as they neared the Lighthouse, Amara guided herself and Moon-Moth over toward the airlock they had been instructed to use.

"My own programming skills are not likely sufficient." Magnetar replied to Elite's question. "However I am sure Mater Vyrdna's are more that up to the task." He then added, looking back at the other senior Praetorian as he continued to guide the Kavaca toward the outer edge of the asteroid field at a relatively slow speed. "Of course, if we lose the Kavaca we could be stuck out here for some time. And I would not want to be the one to have to tell Traveller what happened to her favorite spacecraft."

GM On the surface of Dreeda III By putting everything she could into her suit's thrusters, Traveller was able to catch up with Dragonid as the reptilian Praetorian continued to engage some of the supercriminals and now the automated police drones that had been reprogrammed to attack them. Seeing that everything seemed to be under control at the landing zone for the moment, Magnetar flew after Traveller, easily able to keep up with her. As he drew near his two fellow Praetorians, Magnetar turned toward a group of three police drones that were attacking, sending a wide blast of magnetic force rippling out at the three drones. The powerful blast struck all three, twisting and crumpling them as it impacted and then exploding into small debris as their power cores were ruptured. "My thanks Magnetar." Dragonid stated with what passed for a grin with his fanged mouth. The reptilian Praetorian then flew after the fleeing figures of Amikai and Sullek. Catching back up with the two superpowered criminals, Dragonid opened his mouth once again, sending a jet of flame at Amikai. The fire lashed over the dark haired villain, causing him to cry out in pain as he went spinning out of control before crashing down to the ground unconscious. But Dragonid had little chance to celebrate his victory, as two of the police drones that had been blasting at random buildings turned and flew over toward the Praetorian. Both opened fire, but Dragonid again proved his aerial combat skills and dodged both blasts. Traveller and Magnetar also found themselves under fire from another part of police drones that had diverted their way. Traveller was able to dodge the blast aimed at her, while Magnetar's forcefield easily turned aside the attack aimed at him. "I can deal with these, keep up with Dragonid." He stated as he turned toward the new threat.

Magnetar flies after Traveller as they catch up with Dragonid. He will then use his cone area attack to blast three police drones (taking 10 to hit them): they all miss considerably and are destroyed. Dragonid will then keep after Amikai, sending a fire blast his way and hitting with a 26. Amikai gets an 11, so is knocked out! Two new police drones come after Dragonid, both missing. Two others come after Magnetar and Traveller, getting a 22 and 11, so Magnetar is hit. Magnetar easily makes his toughness save with a 28. Okay, technically Cav is up, but seeing as he, Moon-Moth and Mater Vyrdna will mainly be moving through the portal down to the Devotion and then trying to catch up with the others pursuing the bad guys (who are headed in the direction of the govenor's office) just post that when you can. As I stated to Vahn in chat, Mater using a full round of movement (with her array at her full movement speed) can get through the portal and then caught up with Traveller and Magnetar. Cav can easily catch up to them as well (and even catch up to Dragonid if he wants). Given Moon-Moth's slow flight speed (and Corona's as well), Ex you could have Moon-Moth teleport both of them after the rest, something he would eventually be able to do in about two rounds (as this first one will involve moving through the portal to the planet and shutting it down, so he will only have one teleport move action left after moving over to where Corona is. That should get everyone moving more or less together to get to the showdown with the remaining Deadly Dozen.

Wakaya Island, Fiji Saturday April 2, 2016, 8 PM local time Megan Howell had only recently returned from a long trip into the Infraverse as Velocity. She was with her son and fiancé on the property they owned in Fiji when she got the Freedom League alert on her communicator. A split second costume change later and she was in the main house's study, activating the concealed communications equipment that connected her to Freedom Hall. "Morning everyone. Velocity here." She replied as she came onto the screen in the briefing room. "I am already in Fiji, so I can easily be in Hawaii in a few seconds."- 48 replies

The capital ship gets a 21 on its toughness save, but I will reroll (HP to Cav) and it gets a 27, so it takes more damage.

Zebulon System Along the reaches of the Scutum-Centarus Arm Oskar struggled with the controls of the Xeno as the ship spun out of control into the upper atmosphere of the system's second planet. It was impossible to tell when the ship's power would completely give out, but with a bit of luck it would not be before he was able to get it down onto the ground for at least a controlled crash. This was supposed to have been a simple survey expedition, with Oskar and the Xeno hired to survey a few planets far from the outer edge of the Lor Republic. Getting out this far had been no small task, with Oskar having stopped at a few other locations along the way. But shortly after he had reached the Zebulon system, the Xeno had come under attack by pirates. Unable to outrun them, and with the Xeno taking heavy damage, Oskar had tried heading towards the most habitable planet in the hopes of losing them closer to the surface. That was until the last hit which had damaged the ship's engine and power grid. "I cannot do anything about the failing power grid while we are spinning around out here!" Called out Soreen over the Xeno's intercom system from the engine room. The pale blue skinned female humanoid was one of the crew that had accompanied Oskar on this job. She was a talented engineer who helped keep the ship flying, but there was only so much she could do in the middle of a firefight....

Stone gave Jason a small smile at the younger man's exuberance. He then led the way out of the office and out past Gail's desk toward the elevators. A short elevator ride down and they were making their way out through the main lobby, Stone greeting a number of employees making their way in as they passed. Future Endeavors was housed in a smaller building separate from the central building. It was located along the northern edge of the small corporate park that made up Draco Enterprises headquarters, just past a small green space around which most of the buildings were situated. The building was a long four story building, the front of which was made of glass walls, the back half having far less windows and looking more like manufacturing and laboratory areas. The front entrance was a large atrium which went all the way up to the fourth floor, bright sunlight streaming in with a fountain and plants off to the right side of the space. Set back from the entrance the upper floors looked out over the atrium and hallways were visible along either side of the building on each level. Jason and Stone quickly passed through security and soon were on their way up to the fourth floor. Once there they made their way into the side of the floor that overlooked the atrium. In a large conference room that overlooked the atrium, there were half a dozen men and women seated around the table waiting. "Good morning everyone, please allow me to introduce Jason Draco." Stone stated as he moved into the room and toward the two empty chairs near the far end of the table.

Well, it makes a 29, so takes more damage and is "dazed", which I will remove (HP to Vahn). Cav is up!

Surface of Galor III, Yollon City As the large rock outcropping came crashing down, the pirates came to a sudden halt, looking in shock at the massive barrier that had just appeared. When Moon-Moth floated up above the makeshift barrier, they regarded him for a moment, before two of the larger figures inside stepped up to grab larger rocks that had broke free when the outcropping had come slamming down. With a slight grunt, the two hulking pirates flung the rocks at the Praetorian, both managing to strike his mystical forcefield. Meanwhile, two other larger pirates moved forward to push against the rocky barrier, but were only to barely budge its massive weight.

Okay, a couple of tough pirates are going to pick up something heavy and throw it at Moon-Moth, both hitting with 22 and 21, so two DC 25 toughness saves for Moon-Moth. The pirate capital ship is taking evasive maneuvers and its weapons are ionized at the moment, so Mater is up Vahn!
