Magnetar leads the Lor crewmembers out of the Devotion and onto the landing field. Dragonid takes off after the retreating bad guys, keeping up with Sai'x as he takes a shot at her, using Accurate Attack (-2 dam/+2 attack), he just hits with a 20. Sai'x gets a 10 on her toughness save, which means she is knocked out. Another shoots at Traveller, missing with a 13. The last two shoot at Seresk and the Lor planetary rep: both missing with 14 and 8, although Seresk steps into the path of the attack aimed at the Lor, and it bounces off him. Two police drones fly over to attack Dragonid, 8 and 23, so a miss and a hit. Dragonid gets a 23 on his toughness save, so he is fine. So, back to Cav, TT, I will say he performs a move action searching, and finds a room with fifteen Lor bodies inside, all the missing crew.

Paradigm watched the various villains as they began to withdraw, then glanced out in other directions for a brief moment. "No Officer K'zan, any regrouping will have to be done on the move. There are more of those drones moving through the city, blasting at various structures. Wherever the colonists are, they are likely in danger and we need to find them." "Traveller, get in touch with those in space and see if they are able to get down here, we need them. Dragonid, pursue the retreating villains and try to slow them down as best you can and see where they go. The rest of you need to secure this area and see about dealing with some of the other drones in the city." The Naram looked back up into the sky before adding, "I need to go make sure Varlis does not fall to his death, and check on Adiri while I am up there." With that, Paradigm took off into the sky, accelerating as she went until a small sonic boom echoed behind her as she broke the sound barrier. Moments later she was thousands of feet in the air, coming up beside the unconscious form of Varlis who was still hurtling through the sky. Easily catching the reptilian villain, she then began scanning the sky for a sign of the other villain she had thrown into the air earlier.

Okay, our OOC thread. Just to provide some info relevant to the current discussions, it has been a bit difficult learning about Spectrum Knight technology, as captured armor has always self-destructed. But, it has been determined that Spectrum Knight armor is a heavily modified version of Star Knight armor. In some cases it appears to have been Star Knight armor that has somehow been commandeered, in others just a modified copy. In both cases the armor appears to be powered by tapping into the Zero Zone.

That hits, it only gets a 14 on its toughness save, so it explodes.

Jason did not have too much longer to wait, as Stone arrived about five minutes after he had sat back down. Silver Stone was in his early 60's, a bit on the shorter side, with a full head of grey hair. He was dressed in finely tailored charcoal grey suit, a striped red tie adding a bit of color. As he exited the nearby elevator, Stone moved toward his office at a quick pace, but slowed slightly as he spotted Jason sitting in the waiting area and moved towards the younger man instead. "Well this is a good sign." He commented as he drew near. "I am pleased to see you are eager to get to work."

The touch of Erick's had on her's caused Dee to glance over at him, a faint smile coming to her face before she focused back on the opening gate. The young Englishwoman found herself drawing some strength from Erick's support, yet another indicator that she was making the right choice in bringing him here. Soon the Aston Martin was moving forward once more, this time at a slower pace as it moved onto the narrow roadway through the facility’s grounds. They were rather large, plenty of green space and trees. Then, the pair arrived at a small car park, next to a larger modern building that was an architectural beauty. As Dee pulled into a parking spot, Erick was able to make out the sign on the side of the building near the main entrance: Wiltmoor Hospital.

Surface of Galor III, Yollon City "Looks like my comrades need some help with the ground forces." Shell called out to Moon-Moth as the mecha started tracking the pirate interceptor that had just made a strafing run. "Go help them out, I can handle this last one." The mercenary quickly proved her point, as her plasma cannon fired at the fast moving spacecraft as it started banking around for another pass. The burst of plasma slammed into one of the interceptor's small wings, blasting it off completely and sending the fighter flying out of control to crash in the middle of the now empty streets. In orbit above Galor III As Cavalier's volley of energy fire tore apart one of the pirate interceptors, the last one looped back around and opened fire on the Star Knight once more. This time the blasts went well wide of Star Knight, as the interceptor rocketed past.

The interceptor gets a 12 on its toughness save, so it is down! The last interceptor in space shoots at Cav, missing with a 7. Moon Moth is up!

Paradigm had flow over near Seresk and was picking up the larger Praetorian once more when Queenie spoke up. The other woman looked back to Queenie as she replied. "Please do no belittle yourself Queenie. You managed to initially restrain the creature, if we were more accustomed to your abilities we could have pressed that advantage. Instead, our hesitation allowed the creature to escape. Indeed, our initial attacks failed to accomplish much more than anger it further." "We gladly welcome your continued assistance." Paradigm added. "Now, let us find our quarry." With that, the alien paragon flew off down the main corridor, carrying Seresk along with her. Magnetar quickly flew after as they sped up the search for the fugitive criminals.

Well, all the sentient villains are fleeing, there are still a lot of automated drones that have now arrived and are attacking. Anyway, the two big bruisers that were with the Lor official are there, but unconscious. All the minor prisoners that were attacking that were not knocked out have run away. The Lor official is still there with Seresk.

GM On the Surface of Dreeda III Seresk looked up at the police drones that had arrived on the scene to add more chaos to the battle. With none of the drones or other enemies currently nearby, the large Praetorian bid his time, while positioning himself defensively in front of the Lor government official. Rux glanced over toward Corona a moment as the Lor officer shouted at her to try to get her to stand down. "Would rather take chance at remaining free than going back to sentence." The cyborg replied in a metallic voice before jumping into another rift in space. Mere moments later, Rux appeared down near Procyus' unconscious form, picking up the insectoid speedster and then moving through another tear in space and out of sight again. Sullek lunged back in toward Kharag, swinging his sword in a downward strike at the ancient warrior. Kharag began to set back from the attack, but then suddenly the cyborg reversed his attack, trusting the weapon forward and slashing Kharag in the chest. The force of the blow sent the warrior spinning backward, dark blood splashing on the ground as he went. Seemingly satisfied with the blow he had managed to land, Sullek then turned and took a few running steps, before leaping into the air. His leap carried him in a long arc some four hundred feet back into the city, returning the direction he and the other superpowered criminals had come. Sai'x pushed herself up off the ground, hurt but not completely out of the fight yet. Her dark wings quickly took her back into the air with powerful beats, as she flew off to follow Sullek, leaving the fight behind. Amikai watched his companions as they began their retreat, before turning back toward Dragonid once more, sending a blast of electricity toward the reptilian Praetorian. The lightning bolt struck Dragonid squarely, causing him to drift back a few feet from the impact, but he was able withstand the powerful attack, as electricity danced along his scaled hide and mechanical wings. The dark haired humanoid then turned away as well, flying off to catch up with Sai'x and Sullek. Aboard the Sar-lan As he flew off through the ship, looking for signs of any other Lor crew, Cavalier passed more of the sentry robots that were busy trying to blast their way out into the void. The ship was taking some heavy damage from the rampage of the robots scattered throughout. Even if Mater Vyrdna was able to keep others from destroying the core, the ship could suffer enough internal damage to break it apart if the robots were not stopped. Down in engineering, the remaining robots continued to ignore Mater Vyrdna, as they opened fire on the new barrier the Praetorian had just placed between them and the power core. Multiple blasts struck the makeshift barrier, scarring the metal and blasting half a dozen pockmarks into it, but for the moment it held.

Okay, with Moon-Moth being directed to hold the portal open, I will move on with the rest of the initiative (feel free to make an IC post anytime Ex) Seresk holds. Rux is just engaging in movement this round. Sullek makes an attack roll on Kharag, hitting with a 25. Kharag only gets a 12 on his toughness save, so he is staggered, disabled and dazed! (and knocked back a couple dozen feet). Sullek then leaps 400 feet away (back into the city they direction the bad guys had come from) Sai'x will shake off her daze (HP to Traveller) and the fly up into the air and off the direction Sullek is going. Amikai sends a lighting blast at Dragonid, hitting with a 27! Dragonid gets a 28, so he is fine. Amikai then flies off after Sai'x and Sullek. The robots in space keep blasting away at the ship. So, Corona is up!

Okay, so with autofire it becomes a DC30 toughness save, it gets a 12, so that blasts it appart.

Okay TT, Cav is up if you want to use a HP to shake off the Daze.

So the first toughness save is a 29. The second a 35! So it takes some damage and has systems ionized (dazed) for a turn, but otherwise comes through.

The young woman looked up as Jason came over, suddenly seeming a bit nervous, but she covered that quickly and nodded at his question. "Yes Mr. Draco. I am Gail. I have worked for Mr. Stone a little over a year now." Gail appeared to be rather close to Jason's age, maybe a year or so younger. She had medium length brown hair and light brown eyes. "Mr. Stone should be arriving shortly. He usually is in the office by now, but traffic can sometimes be unpredictable." She then added, giving Jason a small smile.

The alien went down easily from the blindsided attack, as Ruby and Seika both moved to cover one end of the canyon. Bliss moved over toward the wreckage of the alien fighter, and quickly realized it was pointless to spend any time sifting through it. The collision with the canyon's rocky walls had broken the fighter apart, those pieces crashing down onto the rocky ground around the thin river at the base of the canyon and breaking apart further. While there might be some parts that were still salvageable, none of them would help make the repairs the Voidrunner needed to get out of the planet's atmosphere. If they were going to find parts that could help them, they were likely going to have to look for one of the fighters shot down over the woods located up at the top of the canyon.

GM Aboard the Sar-lan The Lor crewmember looked to Cavalier as the Star Knight stopped him and asked whether there was the possibility any other crewmembers might still be aboard. The Lor paused a moment in thought before replying. "When we were all gathered in the prisoner's messhall, we did a headcount. There were fifteen of us missing. Others were able to confirm that seven of those missing had been killed in the breakout." "But we don't know what happened to the other eight. They might be dead as well, or placed somewhere else aboard. The prisoners never said anything about them."

GM Aboard the Sar-lan While the Lor crewmembers at first seemed hesitant about Moon-Moth and his portal, the presence of a Star Knight, and the chaotic destruction being caused by the sentry robots, changed their mind and they started through the portal. "I will keep an eye on them." Magnetar stated as he flew through above the line of Lor. Down in the engine room, Mater Vyrdna had managed to deal with some of the robots trying to blast apart the ship’s core, but there were still many more. Several of the blasts from the attacking robots managed to pierce the outer shell of the core, unless she could quickly eliminate the remaining robots, they were likely to completely shatter the outer shell and destabilize the core in seconds. On the surface of Dreeda III Inside the Devotion, Lor crewmembers started running out of the portal that had appeared inside the vessel’s cargo hold. That brought the Lor face to face with Huhunu, who had just come up the ramp into the ship. The Ipukarian marine started to level his/her assault rifle, when Magnetar came flying out of the portal as well. "Huhunu, these are the surviving Lor crewmembers." The other Praetorian called out, holding up his hands to signal the marine not to shoot. Lowering his/her weapon, Huhunu looked at the gathering Lor. "Paradigm wants the Devotion in the air, they will need to find a place to secure themselves." With that, Huhunu continued toward the bridge. Outside, Traveller's blast slammed into Sai'x, knocking the winged female flying backward and her sonic forcefield flicked, and then disappeared. Sai'x's wings stopped beating, as she flew back several dozen feet, dropping down quickly to land hard on the ground. But somehow the superpowered criminal remained conscious, although she had clearly been knocked for a loop. Dragonid smiled slightly as he turned his attention back toward Amikai, sending a jet of flame at the dark haired humanoid. But this time Amikai was able to dodge the Praetorian’s fiery attack, gaining some altitude in the process. Out among the buildings of the city, over a half dozen small police drones came flying into view. The automated drones quickly opened fire with their blasters, several aiming at the four airborne Praetorians. Most missed their targets, with only Paradigm being hit by a shot, which harmlessly glanced off the Naram. The other drones began firing seemingly randomly at buildings around the landing pad…..

Magnetar will head through Moon Moth’s portal with the Lor crew members. Dragonid will blast at Amikai, but misses with a 17. Several police drones come flying into view, opening fire on several of the Praetorians: 14, 18, 21, 19, only one hits (Paradigm), but the blast glances harmlessly off. Cav is up!

Well, the penalty was more than that, but in any event it is still a hit. Sai'x only gets a 18 on her toughness save, so is bruised and dazed. She gets a 8 on her concentration check, so her flight and forcefield shut off and she falls, I will call it another DC 20 toughness save: 14, so she picks up a second bruise.

Headquarters of Draco Enterprises Hanover, Freedom City, New Jersey March 7, 2016, 8:05 AM Jason Draco sat in the reception area located outside the office of the CEO of Draco Enterprises. Located on the top floor of the central building in the company's corporate headquarters in Hanover, there were large windows looking out toward the skyline of downtown Freedom City to the south. Today was the official start of Jason's tenure as the head of the Future Endeavors division of the company, a stepping stone and learning experience for the young man suggested by the current CEO of the company, Silver Stone, who had been running the company for the last seven years. Jason's appearance in the building had already caused a bit of a stir, with many people stopping what they were doing to watch as he went past. The return of Jacob Draco's son apparently spreading quickly through the building. In the few minutes Jason had been waiting for Stone to arrive, he had already noticed the young woman that was Stone's personal assistant glance his way a couple of times before quickly going back to her work.

Orbit above Galor III The pirate capital ship continued to unleash a barrage of turbolaser fire at the Kavaca and the planet's orbital defenses. While more of the planet's defenses were destroyed in the barrage, Mater Vyrdna easily avoided the four blasts fired at the Praetorian spacecraft. Surface of Galor III, Yollon City As Moon-Moth eliminated one of the last interceptors in the air above the city, the Praetorian saw several of the pirate ground forces moving into the outer edges of the city. The mercenaries hired by the Galor natives were falling back in the face of the advance.

Four pirate gunners fire on the Kavaca once again, but all miss. Mater is up!

Vanor System Outer edge of the Perseus Arm Lor time mark 1471.5 [March 8, 2016 (Terran Calendar)] The Praetorian spacecraft Kavaca hung at the outer edge of the Vanor system, a small silver drop in a vast field of black dotted with the lights of millions of stars. The Praetorians aboard had been following a faint energy signature, the only possible clue they had to locating a group of Spectrum Knights that had been terrorizing the local sector. In the months since the Praetorians and Star Knights had driven the Spectrum Knights from their base of operations and captured some of the group's key leaders, the remaining Spectrum Knights had been scattered across the galaxy. Although they were individually dangerous, being scattered did mean their rampages were generally brought to a quick end. Of course, this did little to slow the appearance of new Spectrum Knights, as new ones continued to pop up seemingly at random. Then, a little over one Terran week ago, a small group of Spectrum Knights had begun striking at targets within the sector. In response to request for Praetorian assistance, Paradigm had sent Elite, along with Magnetar, Mater Vyrdna, Corona, and a new member to the team, the Terran Queenie, to the sector. "The energy signature associated with Spectrum Knight armor leads into the system Elite." Magnetar commented from his seat on the bridge of the Kavaca where he was manning the ship's sensors. The only other "original" Praetorian aboard besides Elite (Mater Vyrdna did not count, as two thousand years ago, she had been a member of the Delaztri Navy, and not a Praetorian), Magnetar spoke in GalStandard, the only one aboard who could not understand being Queenie. The Vanor star was a red supergiant, so massive that if it sat at the center of the Sol system, it would swallow everything out to about Mars' orbit. A thick asteroid belt was visible clustered around the Vanor star, extending out millions of miles within the system.
