Well, not good, but good enough to not be surprised. Lets go with initiative rolls please.

GM Just as the four heard the roar echo from within the facility, a large figure emerged from one of the corridor entrances further down the central hub. It was a six legged creature, standing about ten feet high at its shoulders and covered in tough, grey leathery skin. Each of its six feet had three wicked looking talons. The creature's large head had a massive maw, lined with long fangs that were clearly visible as it focused on the four, snarling loudly. After only a brief pause, it started forward, charging toward the four heroes.

GM On the surface of Dreeda III Over on a building toward the south end of the landing zone, Rux leapt into another rift that appeared in space, emerging over Dragonid as the cybernetic villainess dropped down toward the Praetorian, her plasma blade arching downward as she went. But Dragonid was able to spot the attack, rolling to one side and banking away, as Rux dropped back into another rift that appeared, whisking her back to the rooftop she had just departed. An bolt of electricity arched past the banking Dragonid, as Amikai climbed back to his feet, lightning dancing over his arms as he looked up at the Praetorian. Sai'x released yet another sonic blast at the elusive Dragonid, who managed to pull up short just in time to narrowly avoid the attack. While he may have only dealt minimal damage to any of the new enemies thus far, Dragonid certainly was keeping enough of them busy trying to attack him. Just below the flying Praetorian, Kharag rushed toward Sullek, even as the cyborg recovered from the God-King's previous attack. Leaping backward slightly, Sullek avoided an axe kick Kharag had aimed at his head, spinning his sword back into a defensive stance and preparing to counter. Looking around and finding no enemies within his immediate area, Seresk instead took a couple of running steps and leapt back over to where the Lor bureaucrat was lying on the ground. Landing with a loud *THUD*, the large Praetorian's weight smashed up chunks of pavement as he took a defensive stance near the Lor, keeping an eye on the location of the various enemy still in the fight.

Okay, continuing on while we wait for Vahn and Ex (who are in space anyway): Rux teleports over to attack Dragonid and then teleports back to where she started. She misses with a 14. Sullek cannot act as he is dazed. Seresk will leap back to where he was at the start to try to protect the Lor bureaucrat still cowering on the ground. Sai'x will attack Dragonid, just missing with a 19. Amiaki will get back on his feet and attack Dragonid as well, missing with a 12. Kharag will move to attack Sullek again, this time missing with a 15. Adiri cannot do anything, as she is currently flying upward from Paradigm's throw. I have already handled the sentry robots in space. So, Corona is up Rav!

GM On the surface of Dreeda III Shifting her target from the teleporter to the next nearest target, Traveller moved over toward the two villainous speedsters that were zipping around the landing pad. Aiming at the speeding insectoid, Procyus, Traveller's attack slammed into the villain, knocking him from his feet and sending him tumbling across the ground dozens of yards, before he came to a stop, unconscious. "Very well, if that is your choice." Dragonid commented quietly, mostly to himself as he leveled off once more after dodging another sonic blast from the winged female. Opening his mouth once more, the Praetorian sent a jet of flame at Sai'x, but the winged villainess easily dodge the attack, climbing up over it as she prepared to attack once more. As his fellow speedster went down, Varlis moved a bit further away from the large Seresk, leveling his energy pistol at the massive reptilian Praetorian again and firing another barrage of blasts. Several of them struck Seresk, but once again his tough hide withstood the attack, a simple grunt being the only acknowledgement that he had been hit. But Varlis had barely waited to see the results of his attack, speeding off the far side of the landing pad as he continued to circle the combat. As he arrived, a small pockmark appeared in a wall behind him, as Huhunu had changed targets. From where he/she was hidden, the former marine frowned at yet another missed shot. Aboard the Sar-lan Moon-Moth and Cavalier moved quickly through the corridors of the prison vessel, the sounds of sentry robots blasting away echoing around them. Moon-Moth continued toward where he believed the prisoner dining facility would be located, and sure enough, the pair came to a hallway near several large plexiglass walls that reveled a dining area beyond. Inside where several dozen Lor wearing uniforms, who now appeared a bit panicked at the chaos that was breaking out aboard the prison ship. Six of the sentry robots were positioned outside the dining area, blasting away at the interior walls in an apparent effort to blast through to the outer hull, and likely beyond...

Okay, per chat with Tiff, Traveller is changing targets to the nearest one, which would be Procyus. So with a move closer, she will hit, and he only gets a 11 on his toughness save, which is enough to put him down. So, that means he doesn't attack Kharag (or bruise him). Huhunu will shoot at Varlis instead, but still miss. Vahn, Ex, either of you can go. Ex, with a full move, Moon-Moth and Cav reach the dining area for the prisoners. Through plexiglass like windows, you can see a few dozen Lor inside, they appear to be locked in and certainly appear to be a bit panicked given the blaster fire that can be heard. About half a dozen sentry robots are outside the dining area, blasting away out walls located toward the outer hull.

Once the Pegasus had set down, Velocity powered the spaceplane down and went through the post-flight routine. Then the speedster made a dozen high speed trips helping to finish unloading the various equipment. The league member was able to help quickly set up the sensors the Atoms wanted in place, leaving it for the scientists and technicians in the group to calibrate them once they were up. She was just finishing with that when she saw Dr. Delaroix suddenly take off running into the jungle around the landing site. In a flash of yellow, Velocity followed after the scientist and quickly moved in front of him, coming to a halt with one hand stretched out toward him. "Whoa, hold on a moment doctor. You probably should not be out here on your own."

Here is the updated map. Rux is now on there as number 7.

Tiff! Still waiting for an IC post for Traveller! In the meantime, Dragonid will attack Sai'x, missing with a 17. Round Five 48 Procyus (bruised 2) 33 Varlis (unharmed) 27 Huhunu (Unharmed) 22 Cavalier (Unharmed, 3 HP) 21 Mater Vyrdna (Unharmed, 2 HP) 21 Moon-Moth (Unharmed, 1 HP) 20 Rux (unharmed) 19 Sullek (bruised, dazed) 19 Seresk (unharmed) 18 Sai'x (unharmed) 18 Amikai (bruised, dazed) 15 Kharag (Unharmed) 15 Adiri (unharmed) (1,000' in air, 4 more rnds up, 2 rnds falling) 15 Sentry Robots 14 Corona (Unharmed, 2 HP) 13 Paradigm (bruised, 2 HP) 8 Traveller (Unharmed, 1 HP) 7 Magnetar (Unharmed) 4 Dragonid (Unharmed) Procyus will move over to attack Kharag, hitting with a 22 and then keep on moving past. Kharag gets a 22 on his toughness save, so picks up a bruise. Valaris will use his blaster on Seresk, power attacking (-2/+2), hitting with a 21, so that is +1 to damage from autofire. Seresk has a DC 26 toughness save, getting a 28, so he shrugs off the damage again. Valaris then moves away from him. Huhunu will again shoot at Procyus Varlis, missing with a 13. TT, Cav is up (though given the fluid nature of things up in space, Ex or Vahn, either of you can post actions as well so we can keep moving forward).

Well, extended vision was more the important thing, which I now notice Ruby has as well. So she sees the same stuff as Sieka does. Give me an intimidate check Goose.
-
You should not feel bad Goose, we all understand RL getting busy and such. And I can also understand the issue with only having one thread. Anyway, Seika is able to make out more details of the figure trying to hide, it is a larger centauroid creature, with four legs and two arms on a humanoid torso at the front of its body. The hind quarters appear reptile-like, while the humanoid torso is fur covered (the head being wolf-like). It has clothing on its torso (similar to a flightsuit) and is carrying an energy weapon sidearm.
-
Well, despite the penalties normally associated with a Notice check, I will say that Traveller spots Rux. The issue is that Rux is on another building, this one over 700 feet away from Traveller, so even flying 100 feet closer, you are still going to be at more than -4 to hit, which means that attack will miss.

"Well, I am never one to shy away from internet fraud on behalf of Queen and Country," Dee began with a smile, "but to really pull off a convincing fake profile, we probably should have started the work on that a few days ago."" She picked up another picture, this one of a wider shot of the house and those around it, including the strip of beach the house was along. "But a large party that disrupts the neighborhood...that is so much easier to arrange on the fly."

Given Tess' explanation, Velocity figured there was little to worry about with the one incident during a return trip. So, the speedster focused on getting the expedition underway. This involved a few dozen more trips back and forth, although not quite at full speed, as Velocity helped move much of the group's equipment over to ship. Once they were underway, the Freedom League member's time was focused on assembling the Pegasus spaceplane the League had provided for the expedition. Although this was hardly Velocity's area of expertise, her speed allowed her to quickly study sections of the detailed directions Daedalus had provided and carefully perform work that would take most people hours in minutes. Still, there was a LOT of work that had to be done, and it still required much of the first day for the speedster and the group of technicians assisting her to assemble the vehicle. Although she was rather exhausted the first night, having finished with the Pegasus allowed Velocity to sleep in some the second day. But then once she was awake, the speedster had little to keep her busy, so when Tess' announcement of a ground mission came over the Bee's intercoms, Velocity was (naturally) the first one to the dock. As one of the few aboard qualified to pilot the Pegaus, Velocity had to prep it for the trip anyway.

When she was operating at full capacity, most of the world seemed to crawl by for Velocity, so it took her factions of a second to realize there were already a host of reporters waiting on the platform. She was also able to spot a report that seemed uninterested in getting the story, instead slipping some sort of payment to some scared youths. Adding in the feeling that the reporters clearly had been waiting for at least something to happen here and the speedster was starting to get suspicious. "Wow, and here I thought I was the one who was supposed to be fast." She answered initially as she turned toward the reporters, keeping an eye on the one off to the side, a feat made easy due to her speed and the high-tech goggles that let her see in all directions at once. "I am afraid I have not had a chance to learn who this man is, I was reacting to the incident and caught up with him."
-
Hey Goose! I was worried me might have lost you. Go ahead and give me a Notice check and I will see what she can note.
-
Lets have a Notice check to try to determine where the roar came from.

GM Moving down the corridor that led from the hanger they had entered through, Queenie and the three Praetorians passed two other empty hangers similar to the first. As they went, the air started to get warmer, and more humid. There was more Grue technology lining the walls of the corridors, much of it inert, while other elements were clearly active. The corridor the group was moving through opened into a larger one that appeared to be a central hub of the facility. They were standing at what appeared to be one end of the central corridor, which proceeded off toward their right. A similar corridor to the one they had just been in branched off just to the left from where they stood, and there were other openings further down the corridor. As the four reached the central corridor, a loud roar echoed from somewhere within the facility....

As the three Voidrunners move toward the wreckage of the fighter, they notice a shadowy shape behind several large boulders along the canyon wall. The figure is clearly trying to remain out of sight, but doing a rather poor job of it. It appears to be holding something in one hand, possibly a sidearm of some sort. Seika tightens the grip on her bow, but does not draw back the arrow she already has on the string. Moving close to the other two, she quietly states, "something is watching."
-
Okay, the downed pilot is trying to hide, failing miserably with a 5, so each of your manages to spot him behind some rocks along the canyon wall. Seika notices him as well, as she can beat that without rolling.

Giang looked at the television for a moment, studying the well known supervillainess as the news cameras focused on her. While the Asian young woman had never encountered Madame Marvelous before, she had certainly heard about her, both during her time at Claremont and since. And what she knew was that when Madame Marvelous was involved, things were not always as they seemed. "This seems rather unusual." Giang said quietly to Blodwen. "Perhaps we should head over there and keep an eye on things. Just in case she is up to something."

Surface of Galor III, Yollon City "Nice job." Shell commented as Moon-Moth snared one of the pirate interceptors in his silvery mystical net. The mech turned to track another of the fast moving fighters with its weapon arm, firing another blast of plasma into the air. But this time the mercenary had failed to lead the target sufficiently, and the blast passed harmlessly behind the interceptor. The pirate craft banked around and came back toward the pair, firing its blasters as it drew near. This time the attack struck Shell, who staggered back slightly from the attack, a grunt of pain escaping from the pilot. The second interceptor followed right after, trying to strafe Moon-Moth, but the mystical Praetorian avoided the blasts. Both pirate fighters roared overhead, pulling away from the two targets as they prepared to make another run. Orbit above Galor III As Cavalier's attack missed the pirate capital ship, the vessel completed its maneuver, positioning itself to attack with its starboard side weapons. As it finished its turn, two smaller craft rocketed out from a hanger door on the opposite side, pulling quickly away from the larger ship and banking back around toward the battle. "Two fighter craft have launched." Seresk informed Mater Vyrdna and Cavalier as the large reptilian Praetorian manned the Kavaca's sensors.

Round Five 28 Shell (unharmed) 20 Pirate Pilots (2 interceptors down on planet, 2 in space) 20 Moon-Moth (unharmed, 3 HP) 12 Pirate gunners 7 Mater Vyrdna (unharmed, 1 HP) 5 Cavalier (unharmed, 3 HP) Shell will try to attack another interceptor, but misses with a 14. In space, 2 interceptors launch from the pirate capital ship. The interceptors on the planet shoot at Shell and Moon-Moth again: 21, 11, so Shell is hit. Shell gets a 21 for her toughness save, so is bruised. Moon-Moth is up!
