Paradigm looked at the image of the Sar-Lan that was displayed and was quiet for a moment. Then when the Star Knight spoke up, the young Naram focused back on the others. "Huhunu, continue course for the main colony on the surface." She then looked over to Cavalier. "A small group will make its way over toward the Sar-Lan once we approach orbit." "It seems suspicious to me that the vessel would be sitting there casually in orbit if all of our targets were aboard. There might be a few, but I suspect at least some of them are down on the surface. If so, I do not want to give those down there time to prepare or escape while we investigate the Sar-Lan." "Knight Steward, in addition to yourself an Moon-Moth, take Mater Vyrdna and Magnetar as well. Moon-Moth can get you all down the surface quickly if it becomes necessary. Or bring some of us up if required."

The streets of the Grue section of the station were crowded, but one of the advantages of having Seresk with along was his massive size caused the crowds to naturally to get out of his way, making it relatively easier for Aya to make her way. The larger Praetorian did not seemed to be as bothered at being surrounded by so many Grue, but he remained quiet as well, respecting Aya's choice at silence. Once they reached the crowed near the factor, Seresk followed along behind Aya, allowing her to take the lead. The Coalition peacekeepr the Lor approached took a moment to confirm her credentials, then gave a small nod. "Of course, this way officer." The humanoid replied in heavily accented GalStandard. Allowing the two Praetorians to move through the ring the handful of peacekeepers had formed near the factory, the silvery skinned peacekeeper then lead them toward an entrance to the building. Seresk was just able to use the entry, having to duck down considerably to do so, but inside the ceiling rose high into the air allowing him to stand upright once more. Glancing around the large room, Aya saw several large conveyor belts that led to various smelting furnaces. The air was hotter than it was outside, with a lingering smell of smoke and melted metal heavy around them. Currently all the belts were stopped and the furnaces inactive. A short walk around some of the furnaces and conveyers and the trio came upon the scene. Back in one corner of the factory, behind a furnace was a small group of figures, two Coalition peacekeepers and two Grue, both having taken on forms that were more or less masculine. Lying on the ground nearby was the body of another Grue, having the more standard Grue androgynous form, with a pair of energy burn marks on its torso.

GM "I do not believe we would be able to set up for you to actually perform at the event at such short notice." Colonel Ellis commented. "Unless you think you could pull some strings and get one of the current performers to back out and be there to step into their place. But we can certainly arrange for passes to the event without raising too many questions." "There are a number of other venues nearby that I could pull a few strings with and arrange a performance at on short notice." Agent Salazar added. "And if you do want to have some of you waiting in the wings, we have a yacht that is fully equipped as a surveillance station that can be in Dubai within the week. It can get you right up to the city and serve as a staging area."

Dee was lost in thought a moment as she pulled up the information she had seen on Spartan that Colonel Ellis and Agent Salazar had displayed and provided earlier, comparing it to what she knew about the incident with Pan Star in Mozambique. It only took a few moments before she responded to Foreshadow's comment about any potential overlap. <No, no overlap. Spartan and the others had already defected before the kidnapping incident in Mozambique. So it was years after he was operating there with the UN.> "We could split up and have some of us out in public, with some of us watching in the wings." She commented aloud as they began discussing how to approach the operation. "Certainly would not hurt to start keeping an eye on the good doctor as soon as possible, in case they go for him outside the conference."

Okay, posts have been counted, sheets have been edited. We had some characters hit new PL caps (noted with the character's PP award) and a couple players hit new Veteran Award tiers! For those who prepared information for the new Veteran Award tracking, I have created records for you and will be updating those very shortly. For those who have not yet earned an Veteran Award, I created sheets for you as well. For those with lots of Veteran Awards (Electra!) and/or retired characters (Raveled!) I did not create sheets for you! I have a list of those players who do not have award tracking sheets yet at the bottom of this post for future tracking. Tundra will return fire, but misses with a 19. Round Seven: 27 Torpedo Lass (unharmed, 3 HP) 21 Tundra (bruised 2) Icebreaker (damaged -1 toughness)
-
Torpedo Lass once again easily hit her target, but Tundra continued to prove resilient, this time only slightly flinching from the impact of the superheated air. The earth controller looked back over her shoulder toward the water, spotting Torpedo Lass bobbing on the surface. Turning the small bolder she was standing on around, Tundra swept a hand out toward the aquatic heroine, sending a large piece of rock hurtling out toward her. But Torpedo Lass was able to slide to one side quickly, causing the rock to splash harmlessly into the water, sending up a small geyser with its impact.
-
That is good enough to hit, but Tundra gets a really good save with a 30.
-
Tundra seemed a bit surprised as Torpedo Lass leapt into the air toward her, passing close by as she unleashed a loud ear-splitting pop from a snap of her fingers. While the aquatic heroine's attack would have been enough to easily stun most, Tundra was far more durable, easily able to resist the attack. But before the earth-controller could react, Torpedo Lass' leap had already carried her past and into the water, where she disappeared beneath surface. While Tundra could see where the patriotic heroine had entered the water, and could likely strike at her so long as she was not too deep, continuing the fight was only keeping her from her main objective. So Tundra flew over toward the deck of the Horizon, brining chunks of rocks and concrete along behind her. Coming to a hover above the deck, Tundra sent a series of large chunks of concrete raining down onto the deck. This time, the impact of the debris produced more results, with the bits of concrete creating several holes in the deck and causing some minor damage to the Horizon.
-
Tundra gets a 28 for her Fort Save. She will then attack the ship again, hitting with a 25. The Icebraker gets a 23 (vs DC 27), so it is damaged. Round Six: 27 Torpedo Lass (unharmed, 3 HP) 21 Tundra (bruised 2) Icebreaker (damaged -1 toughness)
-
Tundra turned her attention toward Torpedo Lass as she leapt back into view. But that did not help her avoid the blast of superheated air the patriotic heroine sent skyward. Once again the eco-terrorist grunted with pain, but managed to remain on her feet. "If you really cared about the oceans as you claim, you would not want this ship or any like it travelling those waters. They fill them with oil and other pollution, and simply toss their garbage over the side when out at sea. The damage caused by the rigs this vessel supplies is even worse. They are destroying our world in the pursuit of wealth to be provided by oil and other resources they take. Instead, you are just another of their pawns." With that, the earth controller sent another blast of rocks toward Torpedo Lass. This time she was barely able to dodge aside as the small chunks of rock impacted along the deck.

Tundra will return fire at TL, just missing with a 21. Round Five: 27 Torpedo Lass (unharmed, 3 HP) 21 Tundra (bruised 2)

The Theater District Freedom City, New Jersey Saturday October 31, 2015, 7:30 PM local time The sun had set over Freedom City, adding a slight chill to the already cool night air. But despite the cool night and clouds overhead, there was a festive atmosphere over much of the city as Halloween arrived. Perhaps no part of the city was that more evident than the five city blocks of Broadway between 60th St. and the Beaudrie Opera House, as the 20th annual Hunted Block Party took over the section of the Theater District. Over the annual Halloween festival’s life, the event had grown from only a few blocks to the much larger event it now was, a "fair, games and scares" trick-or-treat extravaganza. As had been the case since the event had started, Mr. Dirksen had made the bottom floor of his warehouse on the corner of 60th St. into a massive haunted house. There were dozens of shops, booths, vendors, and entertainers stretched along the five blocks of Broadway, with crowds of hundreds of costumed children and their families making their way between them.
-
Well, you had to break cover to get a shot at her, and would not be able to move back to cover without using another move action.
-
Tundra gets a 19, so I will reroll (HP to you), getting a 27, so another bruise.
-
Torpedo Lass' second blast went wide as Tundra veered her small bolder to one side. The earth controller crouched low as she steered the bolder around toward the aft of the Horizon, continuing around toward the other side of the vessel until the central tower was between her and Torpedo Lass, taking her out of the heroine's life of fire. Now on the opposite side of the Horizon, Tundra turned her attention to her primary goal, sinking the icebreaker. She sent a blast of medium sized rocks towards the hull of the vessel, but the projectiles were deflected by the sturdy hull with little to show other than some loss of paint.
-
Tundra will fly around the other side of the ship's central tower and blast the side of the ship, hitting with a 20. Icebreaker's toughness save is a 31 so it only takes superficial damage. Round Four: 27 Torpedo Lass (unharmed, 2 HP) 21 Tundra (bruised)

Amara did not comment as Aya decided they were going to intervene and destroy the Communion presence. There was no question that this was something that required their attention, nor that they needed to ensure the Communion did not gain any additional foothold. The only concern the Naram had, was trying to learn what they could about how this Communion ship came to be here and active in the process of destroying it. Turning her attention to studying the two grappled vessels as Aya took them in a small orbit around them, Amara stood up as they came to a halt. "I am ready." She replied simply. "Do not forget, we were destroying Communion two thousand years ago." "But while we are dealing with this, we should endeavor to learn what we can about how this Communion vessel remained active, or came to be here."

One small error I see in the crunch Almilee. 8 pp of skills is 32 skill points (which is how many you have spent). Also, small note on the fluff in terms of timeline: The Khanate was in chaos at the very start of Incursion (as the Communion attacked there first and took over a large swath of the Khanate, including capturing and partially cybernizing Star Khan before attacking other space powers). The Coalition was not formed until the Communion started attacking the Grue and the Lor, using cybernized Khanate troops and ships as part of its forces. So Shell would have been part of the Khanate forces that had managed to avoid capture by the Communion before they went to join the Coalition.

So, while we wait for Goose, lets have some initiative rolls.
