For the moment the fighters are too far away. As for moving the technicians, I will say that you can just move all of them, and get them most of the way across the courtyard (and at least up out of the reach of the antibodies for the moment).

It took a fair bit of willpower for Dee to keep from going off on Amber. The other woman’s smug attitude about Agnus was just the sort of thing that made the young Englishwoman want to spend as little time as possible at events such as this. Never mind that Amber had referred to her as Dawn. But, for the moment they did not need to cause a scene and attract undue attention to themselves. Perhaps later. "So, what have you been up to of late Amber?" Dee managed to say with something of a smile. At the very least, Amber had helped provide some information about one of the members of the family hosting this event. Seems Rafael Medina is known for looking for impressionable angry women with which to spend some time with after he has a few drinks. Dee stated to Agnus over he telepathic link. Know anyone of that description?

Yes, though that will cut down on the number of anitbodies he can catch in the blast. You catch six antibodies in the blast: they get 14, 17, 23, 30, 23, 24, so one makes its toughness save. The reactor gets a 25 so takes a bit of damage, but otherwise is fine.

GM Even as dozens of the antibodies go down under the onslaughts from Velocity and Gaian Knight, there were dozens more still active. Fleur's portal served its purpose, as the first ranks of another wave of antibodies exited the Communion portal, only to pass into the one established by Fleur. But the Communion adapted quickly, as after the first ten or so antibodies, no more came through the first portal. Six of the antibodies still in the reactor room leapt off where they had been working on modifications up on the walls and swarmed around Velocity. The majority of them were trying to make the speedster off balance so two of them might have an easier time in hitting the agile young woman. They were at least partially successful. While Velocity easily dodged one of the actual attacks against her, the other managed to land a hit, raking its claws across her left shoulder blade, leaving cuts in her costume and small gashes in her flesh, causing the speedster to cry out slightly in pain. Two other antibodies charged toward Fleur, their hands crackling with green energy as they tried to slash at the plant controlling heroine. But Fleur was able to avoid both attacks, even if one came far too close for comfort. Gaian Knight found himself facing a pair of antibodies as well, both also using the energy charged attacks they had hit him with back in the central core. He parried the first of the attackers, but the second managed to land its attack on his right leg, sending the jolt of electricity into the earth controller. But this time Gaian managed to pull free before too much of the shock was transferred, and though it stung a bit, it was far from serious. Gabriel managed to block one of the antibodies that attacked him, and his armor stopped the other. Up on the commanded center, once the power had come back up, the gathered technicians quickly began gathering what data they could from the systems, trying to determine what the Lighthouse’s status was. There were a number of things to be concerned about. "This is ops," one of the senior technicians stated into a League comm., "according to sensors, we seem to have dozens of these Communion crawling around on the hull of the Lighthouse. They appear to be making some sort of modification to our systems. That Communion cruiser is still sitting a few thousand meters off, but it is no longer firing on us. Unfortunately, we do not have power to the defensive systems at the moment, so we have no way to engage." "Also, we are reading a massive energy build up taking place in the power core. From what readings we are getting, there is some bleed into some of the systems that have been altered by the Communion."

Well, I do not believe you can spend a second hero point for another reroll once you have already rerolled once (you are not even allowed to spend more than one hero point in a single round on rerolls, even when they are different rolls). But anyway, the DC would only be 27, as it is the base craft check (which was 22) +5. So with the reroll you made it.
-
Okay, Gabe blasts one of the antibodies that was still up and it goes down. Several of the surviving antibodies then move to attack the heroes. Six move after Velocity in groups of 3, the first two in each group trying to aid other: they all make it. Each of the others get +4 on their attack rolls: 34 and 23, so one hit and a miss. Velocity has a DC 25 toughness save: 23, so she picks up a bruise. Two move to attack Fleur, their hands crackling with green energy: 19 and 12, so both miss. Two move to attack Gaian, using the same fort damage attack: 16 and 24 so a miss and a hit. A DC 25 Fort save (damage based, so the bruise is factored in). Another two move to attack Gabe: 26 and 17, so one hit. Gabe gets a 26 on his toughness save, so he is fine. Some others attack the plants forming Fleur’s portal.

Jury rig actually skips the design phase.
-
Okay, reviewed the rules on inventions/rituals. The design phase would be DC22 and take 12 hours to do (which you can reduce if you take a penalty on your roll). A -5 to the roll would make it take 6 hours instead and be DC 27. You can Take 10 on the roll. The construction phase normally takes 48 hours to complete (12pp x4). Again you can take a -5 to the roll (making it DC 27) and it will take 24 hours. Again, you can Take 10 on this roll. So, we are looking at about 30 hours of work. I am not sure the travel time to where we are going would quite take that long.
-
Okay, Reflex saves first, rolling in groups of five: 12, 27, 24, 20, 23 and 12, 17, and 14. So three groups made their Reflex saves (and avoid the attack thanks to Evasion) and five groups miss. The toughness saves for the five groups that missed the Reflex saves: 9, 14, 13, 15, 14, all 25 miss their saves and are destroyed!

It took the trio a bit of time to locate the direction Captain Kraken had gone, but eventually they had located the hidden access to the tunnel system underneath the temple. The heat of the water was intense, but Giang did her best to preserver, wondering what the alien pirate could be after down here. The answer was uncovered soon enough, as they arrived at an Atlantean prison, just as Captain Kraken released one of the captives, despite the warnings of the other captives. What emerged was a massive green monstrosity, which quickly turned on is liberator, trying to tear apart Kraken with its powerful jaws. "It appears that this thing is well beyond your control." Giang stated, as she brought her hands up in front of her and sent a jet of twisting coils of water at the green monster. The blast of water struck true, slamming into the creature's side.

Okay, all three of the antibodies miss their toughness saves and are destroyed. Round Two 16 Hronos (injured, fatigued, 1 HP) 14 Geckoman (unharmed, 4 HP) 13 Antibodies 13 Argonaut (unharmed, 1 HP) 10 Cavalier (unharmed, 3 HP) Hronos is up!
-
Giang continued at her work as she listened to the Lost World tribesman's story. The Asian young woman frowned slightly as worry and concern filled her for Lord Zandar, Kazra, Lady Korzeel and all the peoples of the Lost World. From what he described, it sounded as if this conqueror had access to advanced technology, which would explain how shew as able to so easily subjugate most of the Lost World. "I am Giang Trang. What is your name?" She asked as she finished her work. "And what means did you use to travel here? Is there a way for us to use it to return to your world?"

Paradigm gave Aya a small nod as the Lor asked for a chance to go and retrieve her gear from the shuttle that had brought her and the commander. "Of course, we will not be leaving until everyone is aboard." As other Praetorians began to make their way toward the Devotion, the Naram focused her attention on finishing assigning the mission team. When she was finished, the inclusion of Aya made for a team of fourteen. Turning to Elite, Paradigm said her farewell, before she turned and started toward the spacecraft herself. Commander E'tten accompanied her, handing over the datacard with all the information the Lor had available on the escaped prisoners and the lost ship. "Thank you commander. With a bit of luck, it will not be long before we return with these prisoners once again in custody." "I do hope you are blessed with such luck Imperatirx." The commander replied. "And do be careful, these are dangerous individuals." "Of that I have little doubt. But my fellow Praetorians and I have faced their like before, we will be ready for them." With that, Paradigm turned and boarded the Devotion, making her way up to the bridge. Taking the command chair in the center of the room, Paradigm activated a holodisplay screen with a small console on one of the chair’s arms. The holodisplay hung in the air off to one side of the chair. Satisfied that everyone on the mission team was now aboard, Paradigm looked forward once more. "Huhunu, if all the preflight checks have been completed, let us get underway."

GM With antibodies swarming in toward the UNISON building, Professor Chiron left the aerial battle to the fighters and those that could fly. The Greek hero instead focused on the antibody right in front of him who had just tried to attack him. A powerful blow sent the antibody tumbling backward. But Professor Chrion was not clear of enemies for long, as another pair of antibodies rushed over. Their wicked claws lashed out, but the cybernetic hero was able to avoid each attack. The other heroes guarding the grounds of the building also found themselves under attack as well. Foreshadow easily avoided the two antibodies that came after him. Ulysses managed to keep himself from being shocked by either of the antibodies that charged him, although one came very close. Coiled Lighting was a bit less fortunate. Although he dodge aside from the first antibody, a second jumped behind him, its claw racking across his upper back.

Paradigm looked over to Rock as the hulking figure repeated the one word he appeared capable of saying in GalStandard and made gestures to the Communion ships and himself. Although the young Naram could not quiet pick up all the subtle nuances in Rock's attempts to communicate, she did understand his meaning well enough. "Very well, I can get you over to one of the ships." The Praetorian replied. Turning to Nae-Dae. "Once we depart, move to rendezvous with the other spacecraft so our new allies can work on their plan. We will do our best to help keep the Communion busy." With that, she strode over toward the nearest airlock as she prepared herself to enter into the cold of the void and face the Communion once more. Once they were all inside and the airlock sealed, the outer door opened, exposing them all to the vacuum. But the enhancements the ancient Delzatri Empire had provided protected Paradigm from the freezing cold and the lack of pressure. Grabbing ahold of Rock, the Naram flew out of the airlock and off toward the nearest Communion cruiser. She streaked through the blackness like a missile, and as she neared the cruiser, threw Rock toward the vessel, waiting a moment to be sure he was able to breach the hull and get inside before she flew on towards the next nearest cruiser.

The antibodies attack everyone on the ground again: Foreshadow: two miss with a 19 and 20 Coiled: 15 and 28 so a miss and one hit. DC 23 toughness save. Professor Chiron: both miss with 10 and 12. Ulysses: just missing with 11 and 17. You can go ahead for Ulysses Ex. Tiff, you can go for YB when you can.
