Velocity shivered as Frost went back out through the door and then began to freeze the metal, the cold penetrating through to interior and even overcoming the heat given off by the reactor. As the door came crashing down behind her, the yellow clad speedster took a quick glance back over her shoulder (even though her goggles allowed her to see her teammates on the other side of the door just fine). "Well, there are plenty for all of us." She said with a half-smile and then became a blur of yellow. *CRACK* The speedster's fist shot out at one of the nearest antibodies, smashing in its chest and lifting it off its feet from the force of the impact. But that had barely begun to happen as the speedster was already onto another antibody. *CRACK* Again her fist shot out at hypersonic speed, smashing into another antibody. There was a rapid succession of mini-sonic booms as Velocity moved quickly through the room, punching every antibody she could reach. A mere moment later, antibodies she had knocked of their feet slammed into each other seemingly simultaneously and crumpled to the floor. Others smashed into walls, similarly down. All said, well over twenty of the antibodies were down, but some managed to withstand the speedster’s powerful attack, while even more continued to emerge from the portal.

She will Power Attack (-5 hit/+5 dam) and defensive attack (-3 hit/+3 def), which leaves her with +11 to hit, +15 damage and a defense of 30. She will Take 10 on the attack. Making toughness saves for groups of five antibodies: 25 total go down under the onslaught, for narration sake, I will say at least an equal number survived, or were quickly replaced by more emerging from the portal. Fleur is up as the door crashes down!

GM As Fleur reaches the floor where the reactor was located, she heard a faint *whoosh* behind her as Gabriel came flying down the emergency stairwell. "Got caught up with some of those antibodies." The Irish hero replied. "Allow me to give you a lift!" Scoping up the plant controller, Gabriel swiftly moved the pair through the halls toward the reactor. The pair arrived just as Gaian Knight and Tiamat did riding on one of Knight’s rock platforms. The heavy doors of the reactor were closed and sealed. Just beyond those doors, a pair of antibodies dove at Velocity, passing harmlessly through the speedster as they tried to attack. Four of the newly arrived antibodies aimed the energy weapons at the young woman and opened fire. But the speedster had little trouble dodging the blasts. Meanwhile, other antibodies in the room continued at their tasks, making alterations to a variety of systems….

Gabe flies by and gives Fleur a lift, arriving at the outside of the sealed door to the reactor at the same time Gaian and Tiamat do. Okay, some of the antibodies try to attack Velocity, and pass right through her. Some of the new arrivals level their energy weapons at her and all totally miss. Other antibodies continue with their work. Frost is up AA! If you have him freeze the door, I will forego the door’s save so we can give everyone arriving out there an easy entrance!

Paradigm looked at the screens inside the Horizon's cockpit and the sheer number of Communion warships that had been brought to bare against the Gorgon. The Naram and the others who had stood with her against Star Khan had dropped the defeated despot off with Coalition forces and had then been on their way to follow up with this mission. They had taken one of the wormholes the Communion had been creating when it destroyed planets, and come across a Terran within the wormhole. The woman who introduced herself as Miss Americana had brought welcome news of the Communion's defeat in her world's system. Now they found themselves in the middle of the colossal battle against the Gorgon. "While you work on your plan, I will see what we can do to help aid the Gorgon." Paradigm stated as she glanced over toward Galvanic and Rock. "Are you two ready to head out there and try to cut down on the numbers some?"

Well, with Minions, Takedown works like Takedown 2, but still same result. Anyway, the first group Bliss would hit is the one rushing toward the main group. First three antibodies: miss their toughness save. So does the second group of three. I will say Bliss is able to reach out to two more antibodies: but the first of those makes its toughness save, ending the takedown. So, in total, Bliss takes down six. Kharad is up!

SHIFTED - Fox Paradigm Paradigm has another 10 pp to spend. Plus I will be adding another 12 pp from my latest veteran award earned with Velocity for Praetorian equipment. 1) Add another rank of Luck [1 pp] 2) Add Attack Specialization: Heat Vision 2 [2 pp] 3) +1 each to Fort save, Reflex save and Will save [3pp] 4) +2 to Charisma [2pp] 5) 2 pp into skills (for +2 Diplomacy, +2 Notice and +4 Sense Motive) [2 pp] Also fixed her Knockback, as it was not adjusted up last time she picked up another rank of Impervious.

Okay, going to bring this back up as we need to finalize things with our spaceships and start work on a headquarters. Currently we have the following: 24 pp from me (120 ep) 1 pp from Tiff (5 ep) 1 pp from lazer (5 ep) 1 pp for Rob (5 ep) 1 pp from Ex (5 ep) 4 pp from Vahn (20 ep) Total: 32 pp (160 ep) Given the way things have played out in threads, I think we are going to go with our two spaceships being different sizes, the Devotion being larger and the Kavaca being a bit smaller and sleeker. I have redesigned both ships, adding weapons, so now they are quite a bit more expensive. As such, I will add another 12 pp from my most recent veteran award (Impervium) to give us 44 pp (220 ep). We will still need some points from people to build our headquarters (and at some point I might want to free up some of the veteran points I have poured into this). We do need some points from our newer members (Rav, Mad and TT, as well as one for Blue when she gets back active).

Amara had followed along with Sitara, not having much to do at the moment with everything powered down. The Naram glided through the passageways of the Devotion until they reached the core. When the sound of a voice began to echo through the ship, Amara was almost ready to believe Moon Moth's view that it might be haunted. But Sitara was quick to provide an alternative explanation, one that Amara could not easily dismiss. "Let us hold off on any exorcism for the moment Moon Moth." She stated as she glided over near Sitara. "If this is some sort of AI trying to form, what can we do to assist it?"

That is a crit, and the antibody fails its toughness save and goes down.

GM If the antibodies felt any fear of Wraith’s announcement and attempted attack, they did not display it. The cold, dead eyes of the now silver coated beings simply regarded the young kinigosi and those beyond her. Then, half of those gathered in the courtyard surged forward and a rapid pace. Four of these closed with Wraith, their own claws slashing out at the living metal alien. Two of the attacks missed, as Wraith dodged aside, but two found their mark, their claws biting into Wraith’s metallic form. The remaining group of antibodies moved around the kinigosi, moving past her as they rushed toward the rest of the group.

Four antibodies will move forward to attack Wraith, while half the others move toward the rest of the group, the other half remain in place. The four attack: 18, 26, 11, and 27, so two hits, a pair of DC 23 toughness saves for Wraith. Bliss is up!

Okay Fox, Gaian is up! (I will say the daze was recovered last round, as the antibodies interrupted your last turn).

Paradigm gave a small silent sigh as Vyrdnaya allowed some irritation to creep into her voice as she questioned the decision to move the escapees from where they had been confined. While the Naram could somewhat understand the frustration, but she also was concerned about causing unnecessary tension with the galactic power that had thus far been most supportive of the Praetorians establishing themselves as protectors and guardians in the region. "Hindsight often allows one to find flaws in most any decision made. The fact is these individuals have escaped and represent a clear threat. Stopping threats such as these is what we do best. " She stated, cutting into the dialogue. "Mater Vyrdnaya, Traveller, unless you have any further questions for the commander or Officer K'zan, please prep the Devotion for departure." She then turned to regard Moon Moth. Although she did not fully understand his abilities, she had long ago learned to trust them. "It sounds as if we will have a need for such a spell Moon Moth, make whatever preparations you feel you need." The Naram then turned to regard the assembled Praetorians as a whole. "I will be leading a team of just over half our members to pursue these criminals. Elite will remain in command of those remaining in reserve, to continue work on our new headquarters or to respond to any additional situations which might arise." "Praetorian Val-Ren," Commander E'tten stated, "the Republic would request that Officer K'zan be allowed to accompany your team to assist in the recapture of these criminals. As Praetorian Vyrdnaya has indicated, the Republic does have ultimate responsibility for their escape, and we would provide what assistance we can." Paradigm turned to regard Aya, once again recalling the reports she had seen that had mentioned the Lor officer. "Of course, we welcome your presence Officer K'zan."

GM Commander E'tten turned toward Cavalier as he asked his questions. "Many of them do have significant contacts and acquaintances within the underworld and beyond Star Knight. X'madi in particular. We have included data on all known associates and contacts, but I am afraid that information is not particularly up to date in terms of which ones are still living." The Lor officer then turned toward Moon Moth as he spoke up, asking about X'madi and mentioning an old spell he knew. It was clear the Lor was something of a skeptic when it came to magic, but he did his best to remain neutral. "No Praetorian, X'madi does not possess any telepathic abilities or any other ability to directly attack a beings' mind. However, such a countermeasure would indeed be useful in dealing with Pheydyn, who does have such powers." When Mater Vyrdnaya spoke again, the commander stiffened slightly, turning back toward the Praetorian. "It was either evacuate them or leave them where they were and allow them to fall into the Communion's possession. I am sure Praetorian Val-Ren can tell you what a fearsome opponent the cyber-enhanced Star Khan was, these twelve could have provided even more capable combatants to the Communion." The Lor officer paused a moment before adding, "of course, another option would have been to have executed them all, but as desperate as things were, we were not yet ready to sacrifice ideals that are at the core of our Republic. We are providing all information we have on these individuals Praetorian, we would not ask you pursue them without as much knowledge on them as we can give."

Quickly reorienting herself, Velocity heard Comrade Frost's message and knew she had little time to waste. The yellow clad speedster began vibrating the molecules of her body, until she became almost translucent. She then started off in a yellow blur of motion, passing easily through the walls over the core and out into the hallways beyond. It took her less than a second to arrive at the reactor, and finding the door closed and sealed, she stayed in her insubstantial form and passed through the heavy door into the room beyond. This brought her face to face with dozens of antibodies. "Frost!" She called out as the nearest Communion turned to regard her. "I need you to get the door open so the others can get in here while I try to keep them busy!"

GM As the reactor came back online, lights flickered back on across the station, a number of power conduits within the reactor room sparking slightly due to the modifications that had been made. In one section of the reactor room, some sort of circular object had been set up, and apparently attached to the reactor. As power was restored, there was a flickering within the circle formed by the machine as some sort of energy distortion formed. Then, dozens of antibodies emerged from the distortion, fanning out in the reactor room as they arrived. Several moved to start working on additional modifications alongside those already present, while others were carrying what appeared to be some sort of energy weapons. As power was restored, the station's artificial gravity reactivated as well. Fleur felt the sudden lurch of the restored gravity as she was gliding down a flight of stairs in the emergency stairwell. She fell the last few feet to the next landing, but was able to react quickly enough to land safely on her feet. In the central core, Tiamat was starting down toward where Gaian was fighting against two antibodies when she felt the gravity restored. Too far away from anything to catch ahold of, Tiamat began to fall, unsuccessfully trying to twist around to land on her feet or catch something. She landed on her back on Gaian's rock platform, next to him and the antibodies he was fighting. Further down the core, Velocity also felt the sudden return of gravity as she started to fall. But the young speedster had years of gymnastics training, greatly enhanced by her superhuman agility, and she easily flipped herself around and landed in a low crouch down at the bottom of the core, now on the level where the reactor was located.

Okay, Fleur is fine then. For Tiamat.....lets say she falls down the central core and onto Gaian's platform (she just lands hard). I will call that a DC 21 toughness save. (unless she has 7 Impervious). Velocity makes an acrobatics check, getting a 39, so she is able to handle her fall down the remaining section of the core fine.

GM As Geckoman banked the Pegasus away from the approaching antibodies, six broke off from their loose formation and tried to follow the spacecraft. But between Geckoman's expert piloting, and the speed of the Pegasus, they began to fall behind, as the ship curved around several of the massive columns and descended down into the fog and mist. Although visibility was not the greatest, the fog was somewhat spares. Geckoman could see "floor" of the chamber stretched out below them now. There were any number of places to land the Pegasus, the question was where might be the best choice to give them easy access to other sections of the massive vessel. Meanwhile, two of the antibodies that had not been frozen by Hronos attack flew towards the Mechanodyname. Both lashed out with wicked claws, scoring hits on Hronos which cut into his metal exterior...

Two of the antibodies will fly toward Hronos and attack: 23 and 24 so both hit. That is two DC 23 toughness saves. And remember, because of the Distracted, you cannot use your Defensive Roll. The other six antibodies will try to pursue the Pegasus, but cannot quite keep up with it. Argonaut is up!
