  1. Cal it a DC 20 toughness save.
  2. Hehe, that is true. Lazer, will need another Reflex save (or acrobatic check) for Coiled (we will call it DC 18)
  3. Sure, the car only gets a 15!, so, you are going to win regardless of what you roll by spending a hero point! The car gets a 19 on its toughness save so picks up a bit more damage in addition to being brought to a halt (although it is not so badly damaged that it cannot try to get moving again) Give me a DC 18 toughness save to see if you take any damage from the stunt and go ahead and post!
  4. He has obviously kept up with technical journals AA! Anyway, a good roll! Frost can see that the antibodies rewired several of the power conduits running through this part of the station. He is not certain why that was done but has a feeling that other antibodies are likely making changes elsewhere that are intended to work together.
  5. Velocity (1) Incurision: Stop Thrust (1) Tsunami (2) Sakura no akuma (2) Synapse (3) Dining Out (1) Flight of the Osprey (1) Incursion: Spirit of the Blitz (1) Paradigm (3) Incursion: Merciless (3) GM (12) Organized Crimes (2) Incursion: Spirit of the Blitz (5) Incursion: Blockade Runners (3) Incursion: Red Five (1) Incursion: Stop Thrust (1) (So, all GM posts to Velocity first, just putting her at 25. Ref point to Velocity as well. Rollover 12 posts to Paradigm and 12 to Synapse, putting each at 15. Ref point rollover to Tsunami)
  6. No worries Goose, work has been rather crazy for me as well. You can go ahead and spend a hero point if you want Goose.
  7. Yeah, I am going to change things slightly, you will take your Str, plus any Superstrength (I think she only has 1 rank?) vs the car’s Str plus a +1 per size category larger. The car’s total roll bonus would be +12, so it would have an advantage, but it would not be impossible.
  8. Hmm, yeah, M&M is not the best system for something like that. So, I will call this an opposed Str check (with the car getting its grapple bonus for extra size added as well). If you succeed, you stop the car and take a half effect of a slam from the car hitting you. If you miss, you take the full slam effect (and do not stop the car).
  9. I'm here.
  10. Giang Trang calmly made her way through crowded paths of Ueno Park, taking in the wonderful sight of the many cherry blossoms which were now in full bloom. For the Asian young woman, this trip to Japan had been something of a risk. It was the closest she had come to Hong Kong and the center of her father’s sphere of influence since she had run away over two years ago. But as John had told her numerous times, she could not lead her life constantly trying to hide or be in fear of her father’s agents. And as much as she might enjoy spending time in the Lost World or Atlantis, the surface world on this Earth was still very much her home. So Giang had decided to Japan for a few days, to take in some of the sights and experience some of the culture. After all, she had added Japanese to the number of additional languages she spoke during her last year at Claremont.
  11. Could I get a Kn: Technology check AA (go ahead and use the +4 from Eidetic Memory).
  12. Paradigm will use the base All-Out Attack for -2 def/+2 attack (Defense down to +8) and try to hit Star Khan once again: and misses with an 18 :(
  13. Looks pretty good to me HGM. I am all good with changing the Haven's location as part of the reshuffling of things with the Ministry. One thing, the teleport system was only to and from the British consulate in Freedom City (although again something that could be changed). As for VERA, I think for now it works best to keep her/it as part of the base, we can consider possibly changing that as well. And regarding Annie Key (the EV Steampunk engineer), I figure she might need to be some sort of minion/sidekick if we want to make too much use of her other than an occasionally appearing NPC.
  14. The first antibody goes down, you are in position to get the one Foreshadow was unable to take down, and it once again makes a toughness save! Go ahead and post IC. Tiff, YB is up!
  15. For this sort of Fort save the bruise is not applied. But still this results in Ulysses being dazed once more, this time needing a fort save to recover. So, for Foreshadow’s attack: the first antibody misses its toughness save, but the second makes it. Coiled Lightning is up!
  16. GM Even as the sky was almost cleared of needle fighters for the moment, a new wave of antibodies began rushing toward the UNISON headquarters and its defenders. A pair of the Communion closed with Foreshadow, the first lunging at the dark clad hero, trying to cause him to move into the path of the second antibody’s attack. But Foreshadow knew what was coming before it even happened, and ducked under the first attack and sidestepped the second with ease as he remained close to Coiled Lightning. The blue clad hero also had an antibody attacking him, but blocked the incoming attack as he held his ground. On the opposite side of the building, two antibodies rushed toward Professor Chiron and Ulysses. The first went after the cybernetic Greek hero, who reared up on his hind legs to block the attack with the front hooves of his cybernetic harness. The other antibody moved around Professor Chiron, its hand cracking with green energy as it reached out to grab Ulssyes' arm. The electrical current washed over the steam powered hero, causing him to stagger back a few more steps as black dots flashed in his eyes.
  17. Goose Skaere is up!
  18. Yes, the crit applies to the disarm, so that would be a 21 for your opposed roll. The thug only gets a 4.
  19. Okay, before we get to that: Round Five 25 Antibodies 22 Stella d’Argento (bruised, dazed) 18 Foreshadow (bruised, 0 HP) 16 Coiled Lighting (unharmed, 0 HP) 16 Young Britannia (bruised, 1 HP) 15 Communion needle fighters 13 Professor Chiron (unharmed) 1 Ulysses (bruised, dazed, 0 HP) Two antibodies move in to engage Foreshadow: First using aid: makes it, second one attacks: missing with an 11. Another antibody comes in to attack Coiled Lightning, and misses. On the other side, one attacks Professor Chiron: missing with a 13. Another attacks Ulysses, hitting with a 26, so DC 18 Fort save for Ulysses.
  20. Paradigm was not disappointed, as Rock quickly pulled Star Khan off her, managing to at least injure him slightly and disorient him, although the cybernetic tyrant quickly recovered. The Tempestian quickly followed after, attacking Star Khan, who stopped the attack with seeming ease as he returned to his feet and sent the blue skinned woman flying backward as he unleashed a powerful blast of cosmic energy. So far all the momentum seemed to be to Star Khan’s advantage, the Naram knew she needed to try to shift that. "A relic I may be Kinan Khan, but I have seen your master turned back before, and I shall once more. Even though I have to go through you to do so!" Paradigm stated with an even voice before she shot forward toward the tyrant, delivering a powerful blow to his jaw that echoed down the tunnels of the old mine. Although Star Khan’s head snapped briefly to the side, he remained steadily in place and ready to continue his assault.
  21. The flames wash over the interior walls of the Lighthouse, which make their toughness save. The light does not reveal any sign of the other antibodies, but there are some torn open panels of the walls a short distance away.
  22. Paradigm will close back with Star Khan and try to punch him! Yeah, a 11 is not likely to do the trick. Hmm, I’ll use the hero point she just got and try again: 26 If that hits it is a DC 31 toughness save.
  23. Yes, he is.
