You spot the teleporter and Salnikov reappear on the other balcony (where you first entered the balcony)
-
Okay, while we wait for Ecal to post with Galv, might as well cover other actions. Rav, go ahead and post an action for Corona.
-
It is a DC 24 toughness save for the Communion, and....it makes it. Sigh, they have to start missing them eventually!
-
Hmm, if you want, you can use Accurate Attack (everyone can do that up to -2 atk/+2 damage without the feat) to drop a point of damage and pick up a point of attack, then you can hit by taking 10 (I should have mentioned this the first time as another option).

The Aphelion The insectoid pirate that had spoken with Memorial drew his sword once more, energy crackling along its blade as he yelled out some instructions in a language Memorial did not recognize. The he leapt forward towards one of the other Communion claimed, swinging his weapon at the thing. But once again the computoronium-laced thing dodged agilely away from the blow, its fingers lengthening into long wicked claws. Four of the other pirates were still weighed down by their two unconscious comrades, and they moved further down the hallway away from the Communion with their burdens. Three others remained behind, drawing their energy weapons once more and taking aim at the last Communion claimed not in melee with the other pirates. All three opened fire, but the appeared unnerved by the sight of the animated body, their blasts flying well wide or high, striking the smashed wall of the merchant ship instead.
-
SG, that would be a miss, so go ahead and make an attack roll instead.

While we wait for Galv in space, will move forward with stuff on the Aphelion. The elite pirate on the Aphelion moves forward to attack a Communion as well, but misses with a 10. The three average pirates not weighed down with unconscious comrades open fire on the only Communion near them not in melee, and they all misss as well. Mechanized is up on the Aphelion!

So, that is Dagger that just acted. The teleporter used her readied action from last round to save Salnikov. Her normal initiative is 24. Foreshadow is up, but go ahead and give me a Notice check.

Even as Foreshadow took stock of the new arrivals, a seventh figure descended down from the rooftop. This one did not rappel straight down however, instead it dove out away from the balcony Foreshadow was standing on. That was until the rope the figure was holding went taunt, causing him to swing back toward the balcony. About midway there, the figure, which Foreshadow could not make out as a man, released the rope, flipping through the air with an acrobat's grace. The man's path arched him toward the railing of the balcony, which he caught with one hand, swinging himself over with ease, before he somersaulted once more time, to land on his feet in a half crouch. Foreshadow could see now that he was a little over six feet tall, wearing a primarily navy blue costume. A wide red triangular stripe ran down his chest to his belt, and his full face mask was red as well, with silver goggles over his eyes. His boots were silver as well, as were the bracers he wore on each forearm, each having an unusual teardrop shaped profile along the outside of the forearms. At either hip was a large combat knife in a red sheath. The man quickly focused in on Salnikov. "Sorry friend, but your time is up." He stated, as he raised his left arm, aiming it at the arm dealer as five objects launched out of a small barrel like opening in the teardrop shaped section of the bracer on that arm. The small blades sped towards Salnikov, but then in a flash of light, one of the women that was part of his entourage vanished, reappearing next to the arms dealer before they both vanished in another brief flash of light a split second before the blades arrived. The five small blades buried themselves in the cushions of the booth, right where Salnikov's throat and heart would have been.

Round Three 34 Dagger (unharmed) 27 Foreshadow (unarmed, 2 HP) 21 Gunmen (6) 17 Widowmaker (unharmed) 16 bodyguards (4) 6 Incendiary (unharmed) Okay, Foreshadow is getting a HP for the complication that has developed.

The Aphelion As the Communion infected aliens emerged from the needle ships, the pirate boarding party Mechanized and Memorial had been fighting with turned to face the four emerging from the closest Communion spacecraft. The two large pirates that had proved so durable before rushed toward the two lead Communion, roaring as they swung their large fists at the zombie like figures. But the Communion proved far quicker than they appeared, both dodging away from the wild swings. Out in the Void The five remaining pirate interceptors streaked toward the circling needle ships still around the Aphelion and other pirate ships. Bright beams of energy lanced through the dark of the void, as the pirates opened fire on the Communion fighters. Four of the interceptors scored hits on the agile needle ships, two exploding into silver clouds, while the other two took the hits with no apparent damage.

Round Nine 24 Pirate Interceptor pilots (5) (unharmed) 24 Galvanic (bruised, 3 HP) (entered Vacuum on round 8) 17 Elite Pirates (1 on flagship: bruised) 16 Average Pirates 15 Mechanized (unharmed, 2 HP) 15 Waymaker (unharmed) 12 Corona (unharmed, fatigued, 1 HP) 12 Sovereign (bruised) 10 Antibodies (12 aboard the Aphelion) 8 Needle Fighters (7 (down to 5) near pirates and merchant, 3 inbound, 3 fighting Galvanic) 7 Memorial (bruised, 1 HP) 3 Tough Pirates Okay, Interceptors are attacking some of the Needle fighters, with good results, 4 hits and 1 miss. The needle ships have DC 25 toughness saves and 2 make it, 2 do not, so 2 are destroyed. And now Galvanic is up!

While Widowmaker managed some fast footwork to avoid Foreshadow's attack, the hulking figure failed to translate that into his follow up attack. Once again telegraphing his attack badly, Widowmaker lunged forward, swinging a left hook this time. Once again Foreshadow ducked underneath, and Widowmaker was so off balance with the attack that when he failed to connect, he stumbled forward a few steps, as Foreshadow slipped past, putting a bit of distance between them. As the bodyguard turned back to face the costumed crime fighter once more, the loud thumping music that echoed through the old warehouse was interrupted by a loud *BOOM* from above. A section of the roof above the dance floor exploded, raining debris down below, and before the cloud of dust and plaster had even started to clear, half a dozen figures came repelling down from the rooftop. They were dressed in black fatigues, with black masks over their faces, each with an assault rifle slung so they could fire it one handed as they repelled. They came to a halt just about equal level with the balcony, red lasers cutting through the smoke and dust filled air, as they began sweeping the balcony, clearly looking to identify targets.

Widowmaker is going in the exact opposite direction he needs to, with a 8.

That, is sadly a miss

Any other time, Dee might have been willing to make a snide comment or the like. But right now things were far too serious for that. "We can compare party stories some other time." Dee stated simply. "I should not need to go in deeper than surface thoughts to monitor you." Taking one last deep breath, the young Englishwoman reached out towards Angus' mind, having little trouble reaching the other woman's surface thoughts, given that Angus was not resisting. While she had the connection open, Dee tried to keep herself remote, walled off from Angus, so as to keep herself clear. Alright, I'm here. Shall we get started? She mentally stated to the glowing Angus.

Whatever else the man she had forced to become the closest end of the chain thought of her, Velocity was glad he had done as directed, and that others had moved out to help as well. She was not down here to try to win any popularity contests, not when there were people that needed help and the selfish attitudes of some stood in the way of that. Still, if she tried to get the man to take part in any other rescue efforts, she would try to do so in a way that was not a direct challenge to his authority, and hopefully he would not be so difficult. Putting the thought from her mind for the moment, the speedster focused on zipping back and forth to retrieve more children from the bus, taking some all the way to the shelter herself when the small chain that had formed was going too slow.

Okay, while I wait for your IC post HG, the two tough pirates Mecha and Memorial had been fighting will charge some of the Communion near them. But both miss.

Deborah seemed slightly taken aback at Amir's comments, but was calm as she responded. "Well, at the time Topple was the new purchaser of some of the troubled assets, with nothing to suggest he had any involvement in anything that had been going on. And despite his less than stellar reputation, I figured he deserved a heads up on the potential problems with his new acquisitions." "As for the authorities, of course I have told them this. But I cannot say for certain how deeply they have looked into it. And so far there have been no attempts to buy my silence. Do you think Andy would be that stupid to try that? He did not have any real heat on him when he paid off the whistleblower, assuming he did, but he certainly is under scrutiny now."

Starshot's bionic hand connected solidly with the alien's face, knocking the pirate backward as he spun around from the force of the blow. The pirate landed in a heap a short distance away, his sword skittering further off. But it mattered little anyway, as the pirate was not moving, knocked completely unconscious by the powerful hit. The other pirates gathered did not hesitate to go into action. Two of them aimed their weapons at Starshot, firing blasts of energy at the augmented human. But Starshot's enhanced reflexes had decades of experience, avoiding dangerous predators and energy weapons both, so he was already slipping to one side as they fired, and both blasts streaked harmlessly by, blasting small pockmarks in the walls of a building behind him. The other two pirates turned their weapons to open fire on Deep Freeze. She managed to duck under the first shot, which whizzed harmlessly overhead, but the second struck her squarely on the shoulder. However, Deep Freeze's containment armor was built to be durable, and the blast deflected harmlessly off.

That is actually just good enough to hit. The pirate gets a 8, rolling a natural one, so I will just have him go completely unconscious, not just staggered and dazed. 2 regular pirates will shoot at Starshot, 2 at Deep Freeze. Starshot: both get a 17, so miss. Deep Freeze: they get a 15 and 24 so one hit one miss. But the 6 ranks of impervious on Deep Freeze's suit is just enough to stop the attack! Deep Freeze is up!

I will say the signs like that are up, but Charlie does not see any of the actual alarm equipment (it is an old building that clearly has not been making much money for such things)

"Twenty million you say?" The feline female stated. "You know what to do boys, get that satchel!" She cried out as she drew a energy pistol. But she did not engage immediately, instead, she seemed to ready herself to dodge any attacks, as she prepared to observe how things unfolded. But one of the reptilian aliens with her wasted no time in moving into action, as it drew a sword that crackled with energy along its blade. The criminal moved forward toward Starshot, bringing its weapon up and back downward in an overhead strike. But the augmented human was able to slip to one side, avoiding the attack as the alien nearly drove its weapon down into the street, just stopping short. Balus meanwhile gripped his satchel more tightly, as he tensed, his eyes darting between the various attackers, as he appeared ready to run if any opening presented itself.

Widowmaker took the hits with seemingly little effect, a smile coming to his face as he looked down at Foreshadow. "Indeed it will be little man." He said with an accent that sounded Midwestern. The large blond then took a swing at the agile crime fighter, his right hand shooting out in an excellent right cross. But as well executed as the right cross was, it took a bit more to connect with Foreshadow, as the former gymnast easily ducked underneath, having been given warning of the incoming blow a split second before Widowmaker had even thrown it. The large man frowned slightly as he reset, turning to square off with Foreshadow once more. "You are fast. But it will only take one hit." He boasted. The crowd around the two combatants spread out, giving them a bit more room. Foreshadow could see a couple of other men near Salinov that looked like additional bodyguards. They had moved in close to their boss, but had not drawn any weapons, at least not yet. Salinov was watching the unfolding flight with interest, still reclining back in his seat. Several of the women that had been with him and his group were now visible again, although still not completely sure about what was going to happen.
