So normally the tie would go to you, but I am going to fiat and allow the monster to get free, so Hero Point to Ulysses. Though it takes the monster’s entire action to free itself.

"Ah, good. So I will have plenty of chances to fail to meet expectations first." Dee replied with an unconcerned shrug when Erick mentioned being thoroughly vetted before the holiday dinner the following day. She then glanced sideways at him, arching one eye brow slightly at his comments about how he had spent the holiday last year. "So, hanging out with female superheroes is a rather common thing for you?" She asked in a sly voice. The Englishwoman then settled back in her seat as they pulled away from the airport, though not completely the holiday traffic just yet. "I got a good nap on the way over, so I'm good for a bit of sightseeing while we still have some daylight."

So, looking things over, I only count 71 skill ranks spent, which is only 18 pp, (with 1 skill rank left to be spent). Also, you have a lot of the final totals for skills wrong, so need to check them and add the right stat bonus. (Ex: Climb should be 4 (+7)) So, you have quite a few more pp to spend, which could be used to help bring you up to your PL caps as Rav notes. For you combat block. I see you spending 16 pp on BAB of +8, but I do not see you buying any feats that would improve your melee or ranged to +13, you would need to pick up Attack Focus either melee or ranged to improve the separate attacks (and it is actually pointless to pick up both individually, as if you were to get say Attack Focus: Melee 4 and Attack Focus: Ranged 4, you end up spending the same amount of points as just buying four more ranks of BAB). Also, with your Guns (might want a less generic name for his special pistols) your attack would right now be +10 (+8 BAB and the +2 Accuracy on the weapons themselves). For your equipment, we generally do not make characters of average wealth buy laptops or cell phones. If your guy is struggling (as he is sort of on the run and just working making pizza), then he would need to buy them. For your powers, you have priced the Guns incorrectly. (and refer to them as a device, not just a normal container). As a 2 rank device, they cost 3 pp each, plus one extra pp for the Multiple Weapons feat, for a total of 7 pp. For the Damage power, you do not need Affects Objects, as damage automatically effects objects. The Movement should be Super Movement. And for the Regeneration, you need to note how what the 3 ranks of improved time for Ability Damage recovery does (is it per minute, per round, something else?) So, a few things to fix and a number of points still left to spend. I would suggest using those to bring yourself up to your PL caps.

Out in the void of space, the three pirate interceptors that had been circling around the Aphelion and the Nomad broke off from their stations and turned out toward the new threat that was rapidly approaching. Far off through the darkness of space, a dozen small vessels were streaking forward, faint starlight glinting off their smooth surfaces as they went. The other pirate ships began turning, redirecting their attention from the Aphelion, and maneuvering to face the new threat. Large mounted weapons, unused against the merchant vessel, became active, aiming out towards the approaching Communion ships. Aboard the Aphelion Two pairs of pirates moved to collect their unconscious comrades while the insectoid alien that seemed in charge of this boarding party stayed focused on Memorial. <"A second boarding party *click* had secured engineer *click* we will return control *click* to the pilots *click* but will you be *click* able to keep vessel *click* secure if Communion board?">

Ulysses managed to grab ahold of the earth creature, and maintain that hold as he managed to pull its leg down and force the creature down onto one knee. Miss Grue sent her mental message out to her allies, as she tried to connect with the creature’s mind. But her skill with reading minds a distance was still unrefined, and her attempt to connect slipped right by the creature’s mind, but she was now sure it had a mind, that she could possibly attack. Tsunami meanwhile pushed herself back up right, her body sore from the attack she had taken, and fatigue setting into her limbs. She had almost forgotten how effective earth and rock based attacks could be against her, the oppositional phase of the Wu Xing. But she could not allow her weakness to slow her down. She and the others were the only ones that could keep this thing from the nearby town, and the two glowing twins once again appeared to be down for the moment. Climbing back to her feet as she heard Miss Grue's mental message, the Asian teen did her best to try to mentally reply back. The river is only a little a couple hundred meters away. Not a long distance to try to draw it toward. She then brought her hands up and sent another blast of twisting coils of water at the massive creature, but the blast stuck at an angle and glanced harmlessly off the rocky hide of the creature.

Amara had turned to regard Kharag when he had called out demanding one of the bar employees fetch him more drink. While the request for drink was not a real problem, the manner in which he had demanded it certainly was. However, Sitara quickly spoke up, reprimanding Kharag for his treatment of a loyal citizen of the Empire. The young Naram thought some about what her brother had told her about his trip to Kharag's home world and how the Za'akis had come to be citizens of the Empire. Clearly Kharag needed to come to the realization that he was not a citizen of a larger empire, just as everyone else was, and not a ruler any longer. She turned to regard Dragonid as he spoke up in response. "Threats and anger are indeed not needed friend Dragonid." She replied. "But our new comrade does need to learn how to treat our Empire's citizens." Amara then focused back on Moon-moth, who had admitted he had never drank alcoholic beverages before, a feeling of concern coming over her. "Dragonid is correct friend Myothizar, try to slow down in your consumption."

Velocity almost rolled her eyes as Robert expressed some appreciation of the Duke's genius. "Well, he may have been a genius, but he sure wasted it." She replied, no longer using her more rapid inflection she used as Velocity now that it was just them and Grim. She then frowned slightly as Robert mentioned that the Duke's equipment seemed rather piecemeal. "Hmm, that is interesting. Wonder if there might be any way we could try to track down who might have helped him?" She stated. "Might provide some leads on locating more of his clones. As I really doubt that this is the last anyone will have seen of the man."

"Hmm, well no need on my account." Dee said with a small smile as she climbed into the passenger seat of the Porsche. "Although, I suppose it is to be expected with this being something of formal holiday and all over here. Don't worry, I brought along a few things a bit more appropriate for a formal dinner." She then stated. Looking out the windshield at the crowd of cars and people loading baggage into them, she could only grin slightly. "They really are not joking about this being one of the busiest travel days of the year were they?"

With no rocks present up on the roof of the old warehouse, Lucy made do by breaking off a chunk of concrete from the roof and throwing that after the fleeing cat girl. Though the undead attorney did not wait to see the results of her makeshift attack, her aim proved to be true, as the chunk of concrete arched through the air, coming down perfectly to strike Catesye in the back as she sped down the street. The impact knocked Catseye off her feet, sending her flying forward off her feet as she felt a jolt of pain up her spine. But the cat girl managed to flip back over, landing on her feet as she skidded to a halt, glancing back over her shoulder to insure that no one was still after her. Lucy meanwhile, had jumped back down into the warehouse, only to find that the darkness was fading away. The statue was still where it had set before, as were all the unconscious robe men. Machinefist shook off the latest hit from Freddy, as he ran forward toward the pugilist once more, swinging the double bladed sword that had formed from one of the large gauntlets on his hand. But once again Freddy was able to duck underneath the swing, avoiding the attack as he bobbed back up, ready to strike again.

Tiff, looking at Miss Grue, she only has a base attack of +5, and all her feats are for unarmed/melee, so she would only have a +5 to hit with the ranged Mind Reading. So that would actually be a 16 with the reroll, which is a miss, but you do know that it does have a mind you can target next round with a stunted Stun attack or something else.

Machinefist tries to attack Mess again, and misses again with a 17.

Round Eight 24 Pirate Interceptor pilots (3) (unharmed) 24 Galvanic (bruised, 3 HP) 17 Elite Pirates (1 on flagship: bruised) 16 Average Pirates 15 Mechanized (unharmed, 2 HP) 15 Waymaker (unharmed) 12 Corona (unharmed, fatigued, 1 HP) 12 Sovereign (bruised) 8 Needle Fighters (12) 7 Memorial (bruised, 1 HP) 3 Tough Pirates (1 on flagship: bruised) Okay, so new round, the Communion ships are moving in, the needle fighters in the lead. The larger Communion ships will act lower in the initiative chain for now, and are closing in slower than the fighters. Ecal, go ahead with Galv! SG, you can also post for Mechanized as well.

The Aphelion The melee weapon armed pirate that Memorial had thrown into the wall slumped onto the deck unconscious. The two large pirates still in melee combat with memorial snorted and snarled, both drawing back their large fists to continue their assault on the human woman in the power armor. Just then then insectoid alien that had spoken with Memorial earlier yelled something out in a language neither Memorial nor Mechanized understood, holding out one empty hand with the palm open. The two large pirates seemed to hesitate, still focused on Mechanized, and then the insectoid alien yelled out once more, and they lowered their fists, taking a few steps back from Mechanized. <"It would seem *click* we are allies *click* for the moment."> The insectoid alien stated to Memorial in his heavily accented Lor. The Pirate Flagship Sovereign snarled slightly, then turned towards the still conscious pirates nearby and began barking orders in an unknown language. Waymaker gave a small bow to both Galvanic and Corona, before turning to walk away, back toward the direction he and Sovereign had both come from.

Balus quickly fell into positon between Oskar and Ana as the trio made their way out of Uloc's shop and back into the maze that was the main bazar. Of course, having just recently made their way here, and with Ana paying close attention, they managed to weave their way back through the crowded narrow streets of the bazar and were soon back on one of the more main streets and headed back toward the spaceport. They had not been far along the main street before Ana's words became prophetic. As the trio rounded a corner, the crowd of pedestrians suddenly seemed to vanish, and seven figures stood spaced out across the street in front of them, blocking their path. It was a rough assortment of aliens of a variety of species. There were a couple of humanoid aliens, each armed with energy pistols, along with a couple of reptilian and insectoid aliens as well, similarly armed. One of the reptilian aliens towered well over seven feet tall, appearing to be armed with nothing more than its thick, muscular arms. Standing in the center of the group was a female humanoid alien with vaguely feline features and silver fir. "Well now, I believe you there are the ones out on an errand for one General Tolaan." The feline female stated. "Unless you want some trouble, we will be taking whatever you were picking up for the General."

That actually manages to hit, and Catseye misses so that she picks up another bruise and is dazed. But I will remove the daze (HP to Rev).

A number of other people now started to make a break for it now that Foreshadow's the additional commotion had made more of the crowd alert to the crime fighter's presence. A couple of other men had been getting to their feet to assist the first two, but the easy at which Foreshadow had dealt with the certainly seemed to dissuade them from acting and further. Several even sat back down, doing their best to act as if they were not planning on attacking the costumed crime fighter. One things Foreshadow did note, was that none of those present appeared to be going for any weapons. Whatever else Salinov might be, clearly he did not want a lot hidden weapons around him during this event, even if they were his own merchandise. The group Foreshadow had initially addressed were all still sitting, though clearly wishing there was some way they could try to make a break for it without having to pass by the vigilante. Two of them glanced at each other, then the two down men before one looked back up at Foreshadow. "Salinov is over on the opposite balcony." The man stated, pointing out over Foreshadow's shoulder and toward the other balcony.

The man gave a small smile as he shook his head. "No, I have no intention of causing any problems while we make our way to the police." He stated, as he waited calmly for the two heroes to instruct him on where they wanted him to be. Looking through the glove box of the Volvo, Liquify found a number of objects inside. There were several CDs of classical music, the vehicle's user manual, and the vehicle's registration and insurance card. According to the paperwork, the vehicle was owned by one Charles Malone. The rest of the area around the driver and front passenger’s seats was neat and empty of any other clutter.

Lorn-14 glanced up at Sekia when Oskar mentioned her, before focusing back on the human. "Ulan, Yora, gear up to take our two hunters out to where we found collection team 3." Two of the other Lor, a male and a female started moving right away, heading over to two of the lockers to suit up in body armor and other field equipment and then moving over to other locked lockers, which the opened to withdraw Lor military grade energy weapons. "The collection team was found near a collection point on the far side of this continent." Lorn-14 explained while the two Lor security personnel prepared themselves. "The wreckage of the hovervehicle the team used is still there, so it should be a good focal point to work from in looking for tracks or the like."

That is just good enough to hit one of the Elite Pirates, he misses his Grapple check with a 25, so you throw him into a wall. The wall makes its toughness save, so it holds. The pirate misses his toughness save with a 12, so we will call that unconscious. Go ahead and post IC.

The Pirate Flagship Sovereign's eyes narrowed slightly at Corona as the Lor officer insisted that the Broan have his men on the merchant vessel stand down. "I stated I would have my men stand down Lor, and by that I meant all my men." He replied, irritation in his voice. "If you are going to try to change the conditions of our truce, then perhaps we should just settle out differences first!" "Great Dovox, the mutual enemy is approaching, if you both cannot set aside your current aggression, it may well overwhelm us all." Maymaker stated in an even tone. "At the very least you need to give the order to stand down." Sovereign tensed a moment, before giving a small nod. "Yes, we do have a common enemy." He replied, as he raised his left forearm guard up, activating the communication system built into his armor. "All forces, this is Prince Dovox. Cease the assault on the Aphelion and any engagement with the Lor forces that have responded. A new threat is inbound, we will be working with the Lor forces to engage these Communion." He stated in Galstandard. The large Broan then looked back over at Corona. "There, I have given the order. I expect you to give the same to your allies on the Aphelion, as you confirm that I have given it to my boarding parties there."
