gankun, I certainly understand changing into the liquid form can improve his combat ability, it was more all his combat ability was coming from the liquid form. It looks like you are not hitting you PL caps with either attack/damage or defense/toughness. We really encourage characters to hit those PL caps starting out. Right now it looks like you are only at PL 5.5 with both. Also, something I had spotted before and then forgot about when I set about writing up my last comments, per our house rules, all characters have the Diehard feat for free (no need to even list it), so that frees up a PP.
-
Looks better now, though the Will save might be a bit low still, but nothing you have to change.

Hello gankun, welcome to the site! Not a bad attempt at a first character here, but there are a few things to talk about (and don’t worry, everyone has this, especially with a first character!) So, one little thing in the fluff section, for Residence, we are more looking for where in Freedom City (or any other city) your character might live. As he is at FCU, does he live in a dorm by campus (ie in the North End?) Or over in a apartment in Parkside? So, about the crunch. Stats look fine, although it is a little odd to see 15’s in Dex and Con and then having odd numbers for the enhanced versions, but it works out and certainly nothing saying you can’t do that. I would however suggest dropping the 1 point you spend on Wis to make it 11. If you want to eventually improve Wis, probably best to just save up 2 pp through play and improve it in one swoop. That 1 point could be better used elsewhere in the meantime. Combat…hmm, well, I guess you can tie all the characters combat ability to his alternate form, but it is a somewhat unusual move. Though, I have to wonder, why does just changing into water suddenly make him better at combat? Saving throws are sort of the same thing, nothing says you can’t have all the improvements to them be in the alt form, BUT, that 0 for Will save can really hamper you. We really do not like to see PCs with saves that low. Skills are fine, but on Feats, sort of have the same question I did in combat, why does he pick up all these feats when he turns into water? I can certainly understand some of them, but others are not as easy to reconcile. Also, we have a house rule for Defensive Roll, it gives +2 toughness (and no benefit to reflex save), so you need to account for that. For your powers, I have already commented some above how you might be better served taking some of the things outside of the array. Something to think about. I would say that you probably should not have it take a Full Turn (ie 10 rounds) to change into liquid form. (could use the point from Wisdom to drop that down to a Full Round).

Okay Ex, got a few comments for Moon-Moth. Stats seem fine, and combat, though a bit low (for a reason, more below). Grapple would be +3 (and given his powerloss, this could really come back and bite him!) Fort and Reflex saves seem a little low. Skills seem fine, although there may be some issue regarding languages and being able to communicate (see below) You forgot to list the total costs of all your feats on the Feats line (but you do include it down at the totals on the bottom of the sheet). Powers: Comprehend seems fine (like the complication), only problem is, it only allows you to speak languages. This may be by design, but it also means (given your lack of any other languages in skills) you probably are not going to be able to understand any of the other Praetorians, unless you were thinking of having Delzatri be his native language (as opposed to the language of his people). So, you might want to consider at least picking up a language or two so you can communicate with the rest of us (maybe even Galstandard, to help you with a fair number of other aliens) Your Array: Well, I think you could possibly afford to shave some points of it right now and move that into some other areas. For one thing, I am not a big fan of applying Perception range to things normally requiring to-hit-rolls for (the blast, nullifies and move object). I am really just not a big fan of being the “never miss†aspect of that, unless there is a really good explanation. This is after all a setting where there are superspeedsters and other high defense characters, why would Moon-Moth never miss those? Also, for the blast, I think 5 ranks of Penetrating is all you will really need (allowing you to hurt someone with up to 15 ranks of impervious toughness). If you drop the perception range, you can always add some Accurate to the power (and other powers that had perception) and maybe a rank of homing, to get a second try to hit when you miss. For the Create Object, we tend to look a bit carefully at cases where something is given a Continuous duration like this (as that allows you to create the object and then switch the array to another power and keep the object in place). I know we have allowed it before, but usually for a weaker version of a create object when there is a more powerful version that is the normal duration. Also, I think you have a bit too much progression there, as you are basically able to create an object almost a mile long and 500’ wide. Probably should scale that back some. Also, how do you see the Innate and Subtle working if this is Moonlight Constructs? 1 rank of subtle usually means it looks just like a real object. Also, as this is magic, why would nullify magic not be able to work on it? You might want to scale back the Teleport some, as it is of somewhat limited utility, as it does not have Accurate, which means you have to be able to perceive your destination, or know if very well. (your ESP will not help you, as you cannot have both active at the same time I am afraid). Also, I am not sure you have priced Transform correctly.

Okay, got a few comments for you Lazer. Stats and combat look good, though you could possibly afford to shave a couple points of base defense and pick up dodge focus in its place to free up a few points. Totally your call though. Saving throws seem a little light. As he seems more physical, wondering why his Will save is higher than his Fort save? Skill seem alright, though you need to identify what the two additional languages are? (I would suggest probably Delaztri and Galstandard) On your powers, the base fire breath damage looks fine, though I hope you realize that Improved Range does not change the maximum range of the power. (That is you have a base range increment of 600 feet with the Improved Range 2, but the maximum range for the power is still just 1,200 feet). Also, for the Line area damage, the line is only 500 feet long (base length is rank x10 feet, or 100 feet, x5 for Progression increase equals 500 feet). Also, at the totals down at the bottom, you mistakenly list the number of skill points you have (28) instead of the 7 pp you spent on skills.

No worries Tiff. Yeah we are using the older versions of Miss Grue and an older version of Tsunami as well. Right now the twins are up in the air, out of Miss Grue's reach at giant size. Tundra is on the ground, a little ways away, but still within a move action to get to. Miss Grue is still next to Ulysses, who is still trapped in a rock snare. Tsunami still has four of the security guards protected inside her solid water dome, and one security guard is still up outside the dome.

"We are not exactly sure how they knew what room the contents had been placed in." Detective Erickson replied. "One of the things we are trying to figure out. As for the two perps that you helped capture, they are still down in holding cells, but are currently keeping their mouths shut. Both have prior records, but they are pretty small time. In all likelihood they were just hired muscle and know very little about what is going on or who even hired them." "We've been gathering as much video and photographs of the incident as we can. If you had a bit of time, I could show you some of it if you think it might help in remembering anything."

GM Fleur was able to easily revive the two unconscious soldiers, who had little to add to the priest's description of the two attackers. Gabriel arrived at the church not long after the second soldier was revived, and Gaian Knight and Tiamat were soon followed, having dealt with the two ice barricades to the east and west of town. On the way back from dealing with the west barricade, the pair stopped off in the used car lot where the third soldier who had taken refuge in Fairview had hidden himself. After they convinced Specialist Parker they were the good guys, Gaian Knight transported him back to the church where the others were waiting. Comrade Frost and Velocity had arrived at the church as well, neither having found any sign of the villains. Though Bowman, the team received word from Major Ellis that the Army's response team was at the original ambush sight and had secured the area, with additional personnel on their way to pick up the three soldiers in Fairview and Sergeant Davenport back at Freedom Hall. While the League members had managed to keep the battery and energy projector out of the Zodiac's hands (along with the flashdrive on the testing data), the villains appeared to have been able to make off with the serum and the flashdrive associated with it, which they had managed to get a hold of during the initial ambush.

"Balus, gather our things and relocate them to Captain Otto's vessel." The general stated to his servant, who gave a small nod and set off toward another room to begin the process. "Balus is good a keeping things ready to move quickly." The general then stated to Oskar. "So he should be following behind very shortly." "Well, it appears the two of you have everything well in hand." Nerrit replied, given a small nod to the general and then to Oskar. "I shall be on my way, a great pleasure to have assisted you general." With that, the Sorinam made his way out of the quarters. As Oskar and the general began to make their way toward the Xeno's hanger, the pair continued to talk. "I understand your desire to know about our first destination Captain," he began, "and I certainly will be informing you of that, but likely best to wait until we are on your vessel for the discussion." When they reached the hanger, the general gave the Xeno a long, measured look, as if he was making initial judgments about the vessel. "I take it there have been modifications from the standard yacht configuration?" The general asked as they made their way over to the ramp of the vessel.

What is it with men and wanting to just charge right into things? Dee could not help but ask herself as Singh almost went into recounting a tale of battling Zulu in Africa. She was not sure who much more of this colonial jingoism she was going to be able to stomach, but luckily he stopped himself and the older gentleman that had come over with her (who had already demonstrated that he was a Power) mentioned getting in and trying to smoke them out. "Well, that might work, but could also cause them to scatter in a lot of different directions." Dee replied. She then gave a sly smile as he asked about what other abilities she might have that could help. <Well, it just so happens that I do have a few, including the ability to project my thoughts into men’s minds, as well as read them.> She telepathically communicated into Ulysses and Singh’s minds almost simultaneously.

GM Elite As Lady Gaius sheathed her ceremonial sword and looked about at her new comrades in arms, a large male F'terrix approached her. Like all members of his species, he was feline in appearance, with deep brown fur and an even darker brown mane of hair on his head and upper shoulders. "Welcome to the Praetorians Lady Gaius, or should I say, Elite." The F'terrix began, his voice almost low growl. "I am Raark. You and the others will be seeing a lot of me in the weeks to come, as I am one of those responsible for overseeing new members as they integrate into the Praetorians." Kharag Even as Kharag regarded Darr Val-Ren, a soft voice came to his mind, as a familiar figure emerged from the crowd around him. < Greetings once again Kharag of the Za'akis. I trust your people's integration into the Empire has been going smoothly?> The "speaker" was Chrystaa, one of the Praetorians most powerful mentalists. She was a thin humanoid, with pale, almost white skin and soft features. She had long purple hair, with similarly colored eyes. Chrystaa had been present during Kharag's duel with Darr Val-Ren, acting as translator during the negotiations that had proceeded and followed the duel.

As fast as she was, Velocity had not been able to get a word in edgewise once Grim answered her cellphone, the other heroine quickly going off about how she was done with dealing with the Duke and was ready to burn down his entire castle to stop his plans. "Oh great." The speedster stated with a sigh when Grim hung up. She then keyed the comm system for the League once more. "Daedalus, one last thing, I am heading back to Holland now, to the castle owned by Duke Dooyeweerd to try to deal with the guy behind this gas bomb, and some other things. If you don't hear from me again in about a minute you should probably assemble a team to come looking for me." And with that the speedster was gone from the Wreck Room control booth and Freedom Hall, speeding back across the Atlantic in seconds. Mere moments later, she was coming to a halt inside the cellar of the Duke's castle, quickly taking in the scene. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw Robert's injury, but she quickly focused on the Duke that had emerged from the sarcophagus. "Okay, enough is enough, no more playing nice." She called out, pointing toward the Duke. "Stand down, before you get hurt."

Given the later hour, the station was a lot less busy that it was during the day, but there were still a number of officers there filling out reports and other paperwork. Most looked up as Erickson led Coiled Lightning back to his desk, but then turned back to their paperwork. The detective quickly scanned Charlie's statement, asking a few clarifying questions, before he sat it down and focused fully on Charlie. "So, about the contents of the time capsule....I am rather embarrassed to admit this, but we have a problem. After the officers brought the contents back to the station following the incident at the demolition site, they placed the contents of the time capsule in a locked conference room until the lab techs come could take possession and go over them." "But about an hour after those contents were put in the conference room, someone managed to get into the room through a fourth story window and temporarily block the door with a file cabinet and then steal the bag containing the contents." The detective reached up with one hand and rubbed his temples a moment before he continued. "So I was hoping there might be something else you could remember about the incident that could give us a led on this."

Starshot General Tolaan regarded Oskar coolly for a moment, his white somehow seeming to bore into the human. "Thank you Nerrit." He stated finally, acknowledging the Sorinam's introduction. His voice was firm and authoritative. "I am pleased to make your acquaintance Oskar Otto." He then added. "I do understand the necessary protocol when aboard a captained vessel, even when one may be the employer, however temporarily, of the captain." He continued. "But this will not be some idle sightseeing excursion, regardless of how...exotic some of your prior voyages may have been. I trust you understand that the terms of our contract include assistance by you and your crew at the locals we will be visiting?" Deep Freeze Looking over the Xeno's manifests, everything seemed to have been topped off to the standard levels as was typical when they docked at a well stocked location. Of course, Ana was not sure what additional supplies they might need to add, but things were at least at the baseline that Oskar liked to keep them at. Once down in the engine room and looking over the readings, the engineer found that everything was performing like it should be. But she still double checked the data on the starboard stabilizers, as she had recently overhauled them after they had gotten a bit clogged up during the last time they had landed on a planet without any real landing facilities.

You would likely be quite scandalized by some of the things I have seen and done. Dee could not think to herself at Singh's comments about the house and the possible activities inside. But the Englishwoman had more immediate problems, like Singh preparing to just march right up to force answers out of the lookout. "Hold on a moment captain." She said, quickening her step to catch back up with him and grab a hold of the wrist for the arm holding his pistol. She pulled him off into a section of the crowd and out of the open where the lookout could more easily spot him. "First off, he is likely just a lookout, and may not know all that much. Second, just barging up is certain to give warning to those inside, who can just use the time you are dealing with the lookout to escape."

"That's great." Detective Erickson replied as he picked up the written statement the desk sergeant had taken. "You mind coming back with me so I can take a look over this and possibly ask a few follow up questions based on things that have been coming up in our investigation thus far? We can also talk about the contents of the time capsule and maybe I can answer any other questions you might have." He asked, leading the costumed hero through the door he had just come through and back into administrative space of the station.

Dee helped Erick in covering the payment for the van, a small price compared to some of the vehicles she had bought for herself over the years. While she would not really have a chance to make adjustments to this one before they left, she had at least confirmed that it was in reasonably good repair, and was at least not tampered with as the other vehicle had been. "Of course." Dee answered with a small nod as she climbed behind the wheel of the van and started it up. "First the recently uncovered river temple, and then to some of the Fifth Dynasty tombs in the foothills." She replied, recalling some of the more active archeological sites in the area. There certainly were times that it paid to have a near perfect memory.

Dee had to resist yet another urge to roll her eyes as Captain Singh proclaimed how he would protect her if they encountered trouble. But soon her attention was on the sights, sounds and smells of the crowded streets they made their way into. The scene was rather similar to places she had seen back in her own dimension, and not entirely surprising to the Englishwoman. She had started slightly when Singh delivered a kick to one insistent beggar, and was about to comment on his action when she spotted the man outside the building they had been approaching. While Dee was no expert on history or the Hindu religion, she was blessed with a near perfect memory, and had looked at a number of books on the subjects over the years. So even though she was in a different dimension, she still recognized the tattoos on the man associated with Kali and the Thuggee cult. Stepping up next to Captain Singh, she wrapped one arm around his, moving herself in closer as she turned slightly and brought her mouth up near his ear. "That man over by the door has tattoos associated with Kali and the Thuggee. I suspect we may be able to find some answers in there."

Hmm, was going to post, but figured I should probably wait for Heri to make Grim's Reflex save (and any needed toughness save) vs the area effect electrical attack.

Velocity followed along as Edge took the lead towards the building where Gargantua and Hologram were waiting. If Harridan wanted to act as if she and Edge were his escort, that was fine with the speedster, as long as it got him to go along with just them and leave his small army behind. Speaking of that army, just because her back was now to them, Velocity did not stop keeping an eye on them as she went. The speedster used her superspeed and the technology of her goggles to keep watch over the assembled gorillas, looking for any warnings of hostility, and making sure none of them went invisible once more and tried to follow them. She kept an eye on the ranks of gorillas while also keeping an eye out on the area behind them for any sign of movement from invisible gorillas.
