Goose, one thing glancing at the sheet: While I do not have my books with me right now, I am pretty certain that just buying Improved Range for the various powers in your bow will no longer give you multiple range increments (at least for some of the attacks). An attack/powers range normally involves two parts: (1) the range increment (that is how far before you start taking penalties on your attacks), which is Power Rank x 10; and (2) the max range (which is the maximum distance the attack/power can go), which 10 range increments. So, for a Rank 10 Blast, you normally have 100 foot range increments and a max range of 1000 feet. When you buy Improved Range, that increases the range increment for the attack/power, just like you calculate. HOWEVER, the book states that this increase in the range increment does not also increase the max range, which is still calculated as if the Improved Range feat was not there. This has the effect of increasing the distance before you suffer any penalties for an attack roll, but only to the normal maximum range. So, with your Rank 10 Blast, your range increment equals your maximum range, 1000 feet. If you want to have both improved range increments and increase your maximum range, you will also need to buy the Progression (Range) feat, which will increase the maximum range of a power.

Synapse should probably have been surprised when Doctor Zero turned his weapon on Blonsky and fired on the Russian coach, but she was not. Eliminating a witness that knew too much about the plot Doctor Zero was engaged in seemed little but par for the course for the egomaniacal ultra-Communist. Although not nearly as fast as Zero, the Englishwoman was able to run up next to the smashed window, to where she could still see the fleeing villain. Having failed with her prior attempts at mental blasts and telepathy, she chose to try a different ability this time, as she reached once more for Zero's mind, this time seeking to take direct control over it, just as she had done to Blonsky on the ski slopes. But as with everything else, Zero's incredible willpower shook of the attempt with relative ease.

Okay, Synapse is going to move over near the window so she can see Zero and try to use Mind Control on him. Annnnd likely will not succeed with a 14 for her Power Check.

Ah right, I failed to look further in the UP for that power. It does seem a little off in how it is built, but I would need to parse it a bit more carefully. But, as it is listed at 1 pp per rank, and damaging is listed as +3, what you have seems to be right. But again, you need to define what triggers the side effect.
-
So far Zero was paying Synapse little heed, not overly surprising given how badly she was failing at getting into his mind. At his comments to Foreshadow about the virtues of Communism, she could not help but snort in derision. "Ah yes, the great utopia of Communism. Too bad it is just another way for a few greedy old men to consolidate a majority of the resources and power for themselves. Why do you think another go would be any different?" As Foreshadow managed to dodge another blast from Zero's ice gun, Synapse once again sent a blast of red psychic energy at the villain's mind. And once again, his incredible willpower shook off the effort with ease.

So, having failed to try to mind read (in order to try to mental grapple), Synapse now has no choice but to mind blast Zero again. DC 23 Will save.

Synapse watched as Foreshadow and Zero traded attacks, both moving incredibly fast. Foreshadow seemed a bit more skilled than Zero, but the latter's durability and power seemed counter that discrepancy. So, she had to try to do something to help shift the balance more in Foreshadow's favor. "You certainly have an oversized ego." The Englishwoman stated in response to Zero's claims. As she spoke, she tried to reach into Zero's mind, hoping to create a link which she could use against him. This time there was no evident psychic energy, but just like her prior attack, Zero's steel mind remained sealed away.

Okay, Synapse is going to try to make contact with Zero's mind via Telepathy, but only gets a 20 on her Power Check. Still, might get lucky....

As the metal door swung open, Synapse quickly took in the room beyond, noting Doctor Zero and Blonsky, as well as what had to be the Sleeper in the medical bay. The sight of the old, weak looking man reminder her of Headcase, and she doubted she would like the Sleeper any more than the latter. And then the metal door gave them away, and things happened faster than Synapse could really react. Foreshadow leapt into action, trying to attack Doctor Zero, who managed to dodge the attack with blinding speed. Zero then had his weapon out and targeted Foreshadow, hitting with what appeared to be a beam of cold. A red glow surrounded Synapse as she brought up her telekinetic forcefield. She then focused on Zero, an she sent a blast of red psychic energy at the man's mind. Unfortunately, he proved to have more mental fortitude than Blonsky or the serum enhanced athletes and managed to shake off the psychic assault. This was not going to be easy.

Let's give Zero a mind blast (using reserve to boost that), meaning Zero needs to make a DC 23 Will save against the damage.

Velocity was not very encouraged by the fact that numerous invisible gorillas (at least she assumed they were gorillas) were surrounding her and Edge. She continued to keep a close eye on what was going on around her, thanks to her goggles full three hundred and sixty degree vision, while continuing to remain facing Harridan and at least appearing to give him her full attention. "As I just said, your captured citizen is inside the main house, he was released after we began communicating with him." The speedster replied to one of Harridan's questions. "As for the Crime League members involved in this, they are currently imprisoned and each has a long list of crimes for which they are wanted in a number of countries around the world. If your government wishes to add charges against them, I am sure international authorities would be willing to hear a petition." "But first, why don't you have your invisible companions show themselves instead of surrounding us." The speedster then added. "So we can talk openly and honestly, instead of me thinking you are not really interested in talking." She hoped that was enough warning for Edge, and Hologram back with Gargantua, and in the meantime, she kept a close eye on the area around her for any trace of sudden movement toward her, Edge or the house, ready to act if needed.

Not sure why you would need a Notice check Avo, but seeing as Titan's Sense Motive is the same, I'll go with that. He is able to pick up a slight bit of nervousness on the part of the guy in the power armor.

Happy Birthday Sorus!!!

Up on the aft deck of The Rebel: The in the armor took Titan's hand, the armor seeming to handle Titan's grip just fine (at least when Titan was not specifically trying to exert as much force as possible). "Very nice to meet you Titan." The man replied in a sincere tone. "I don't want to seem rude, but Mr. Topple has asked to introduce me, and I'd hate to steal his thunder." He then added, a slight bit of embarrassment evident in his tone this time, along with something else. "Congratulations on your award." Down on the red carpet: "So very lovely to meet you Mr. Wilder." Stated Mrs. Topple to Riff as the rockstar hero responded to her husband and Amir. Andrew Topple gave a wide smile as he answered Riff’s question. "Yes, I believe you were the last one we were waiting for. So, please, come on aboard so we can get underway and really get this celebration started."

Velocity looked down on the scene below for a brief moment before glancing over to the others. "Looks like you all have enough to focus on while I go scout out the town. Should only be a few moments anyway." And with that, the yellow clad speedster was gone in a blur of motion. The others were likely just registering she was gone when she was several miles up the road towards Fairview, and hit the rain that was coming from the dark clouds in the air. As she went, Velocity was already carefully searching the area around the highway, after, all, it would hardly take her much time. A few milliseconds later and she was several more miles down the highway, and had come across skid marks in the road and broken glass, causing her to slow slightly as she turned off the road and began searching the area around it. It barely took any time at all for her to find a ben and torn door to a Humvee in some tall grass of a ditch about fifteen feet off the road, and next to the door an injured and bleeding soldier. The speedster came to a halt by the injured solider, quickly looking him over and noting several deep lacerations and what appeared to be a broken arm. He was unconscious and looked in bad shape, and the possibility of more serious broken bones made her hesitant to move him. So Velocity took the medical kit that was attached to his tactical vest and did what she could to cover some of the lacerations, hoping to at least slow the bleeding some before she went back to get Fleur to heal him.

GM The Freedom League members emerged from old oak tree to find themselves on a grassy hill. The sky was darker than it should be, the edges of the dark clouds sitting miles off to the north helping block out the sun. Down below them sat a rural stretch of interstate, right at the intersection with a local highway. Three Humvees were spread out across the eastbound lanes of the highway, all three appearing to have suffered various damage. One had apparently smashed into a civilian truck, both now off the highway and into the greenspace dividing the east and west bound sides of the interstate. Another was in the middle of the two eastbound lanes and still smoking slightly, sections of the vehicle black from fire that had apparently only been recently extinguished, the back tires all but melted away. The last was halfway onto the right shoulder of the eastbound lanes, the crew compartment ripped open and all four tires missing. Behind the smoldering Humvee was a jackknifed semi, a pair of civilian cars having crashed into the trailer after it jackknifed. About a dozen other civilian cars were stopped along the shoulders on both sides of the interstate, and the drivers and passengers of those cars appeared to be doing what they could to assist the semi driver, passengers of the other crashed civilian cars and the soldiers from the three wrecked Humvees. Two sheriff's vehicles were now present, one having taken up position behind the jackknifed semi, the deputy out of the vehicle and stopping all eastbound traffic for the moment. The other was over near the wrecked Humvees, the deputy out and trying to help treat the injured soldiers. Traffic in the west bound lanes was moving, with the slowdown that one would expect where drivers were passing a large accident scene such as this.

Well, the Move Object is listed as having a tradeoff, increasing the damage to +12 at the sacrifice of accuracy. There is still a problem with that, as your BAB is +3, and could not be higher than +2 with the listed tradeoff. But more generally, this character is really just one big array (with about 60% of her PP budget in that one array). Also, how does 12 ranks of Protection fit into the concept of these magic/dream abilities?
-
Actually Rav, the two Move Object alt powers do have a similar problem to the other character I mentioned. By having a second alternate slot that allows you to do something different than the first, limited slot, you have made that limitation far less of a limitation. The other player had done this with Emotion Control, limiting one slot to one emotion, and then having a second slot that limited it to another emotion. The ref team looked at that and decided we were not going to allow it (at least not receiving a full flaw on each slot). I suppose that is true regarding Permeate, but another question I have is given his power set (controlling gravity), how does he pass through solid objects? Also, Flight 8 is 2,500 MPH, not 50,000.
-
Well Rav, I see a few things. First, how do you get a Grapple of +8? +2 Str and +4 BAB would be +6. Concentration is based on Wis, not Int, so it would stay at +9. In the Gravity Suit’s array, can you explain the two different Move Object slots? Is the first one moving things up and down and the second moving things towards the center of the burst area? The refs recently looked at a character that had a flaw on a power and then had an alternate slot with the same power but a different flaw (thus allowing him to work around the flaw on the first slot). We were not very receptive to that sort of use of alternate powers. Also for your last alternate power, you list Flight 15, but all the other powers are linked to Leaping. Also 15 ranks of flight would take the entire amount of active points in the array. Also, the drawback on the Super-Movement is not appropriate. Permeate allows you to move through solid objects as if they were not there, thus it does work unless you are moving by the very description of the power (unlike wall walking or water walking, where you can stop, unless you buy the only while moving flaw).

Andy gave a laugh as Amir suggested going back and making an even more impressive entrance as Diana smiled broadly. "Why thank you Amir, so wonderful to see you again. You are looking your usual dashing self." "Ah Amir, you old charmer." Andy said with a small chuckle. "Where is that lovely singer you have been seen with off and on over the last year and a half?" But before Amir could answer, Riff had moved through the gathered reporters and was approaching the trio. "Ah, looks like you’re just in time to help welcome one of the last award recipients Amir." Andy stated as he took a slight step forward to greet the approaching Riff. "Hello Mr. Wilder, or do you prefer Riff? I am Andrew Topple, this is my wife, Diana Reese-Topple, and one of the other event sponsors, Amir al-Misri."

Giang had stopped her exercise at Gene's unintended mini-explosion. The Asian teen was still holding the bo staff made of water as Juno appeared suddenly in midair before collapsing to the ground, clearly an unintended reaction to the loud sound. Around them, some of the tribesmen and women residing in nearby huts had moved out to see what was going on. "Gene had a little trouble controlling the effect he intended." Giang stated simply as she stood back upright, her staff returning to a fully liquid stated and them consolidating into a sphere that hovered just at her shoulder. She glanced out away from the huts and toward the brightening sky. "We should likely be getting up anyway and getting ready to be on the move when Lord Zandar is ready."
