Giang frowned slightly at Set's response, but it was not exactly a surprising answer. "Wonderful, so we are dealing with remnants of your former self's work. Do you know what they want? Or is simply to kill you?" The Asian teen asked . "In the meantime, we need to bring this mecha down." With that Giang executed a side arial towards her right, landing in a low backstance and sending another powerful blast of water at the giant machine. Once again the blast hit true, but while it again damaged the mecha, the machine still seemed to be far from finished.

Was great talking with you in chat today Heritage! Looking forward to seeing Grim return! Would be great to do a thread with her and Velocity catching up!

"Well, I am not the police, so I do not have to wait till you have a lawyer present to ask you questions." Velocity replied to the driver's comments. Of course, he was right that he did not have to answer her questions or incriminate himself, but she did not confirm that. But in the end, it seemed not to matter at all, as he fell unconscious. After noting the address on the piece of paper, the yellow clad speedster prepared to wait for the police to arrive to hand the scene and the driver over to them. That was always the part that seemed to take so long to her.

Having taken in the scene quickly, Velocity kept herself facing Gargantua, though she was still taking in everything going on around her as well. She held out one hand towards the keepers that were present and trying to ready the tranquilizer. "Forget that." She stated evenly. "Just slowly back out of here and get clear. I will handled things from here." How exactly she was going to do that she was not sure. Gargantua was dangerous, to be sure, but then given what all had happened to him since his capture, it was not a big surprise. She hated the thought of possibly having to harm the ape, but knew she could not let him hurt anyone here in his rage. For the moment, she waited to see if he continued to try to escape, or settled down.

Okay, Tsunami will Power Attack (-3 atk/+3 dam), getting a 26. DC is 29.
-
Well, in reference to Blood's threat and Temp's worry about what he might do, Tsunami still has a Time Stop active in a 500' radius, only excluding crew/passengers and the heroes (and the bad guys that made their reflex saves). Anything else (ie the ship) cannot be interacted with by anyone that is free of the time stop. So, no poking holes in the ship

Velocity gave Edge a smile as he mentioned the possibility of UNISON someday fielding a primary response team, trying not to think about her past experience working with another team of UNISON superpowered agents that had turned traitor during the mission. "Well, we would certainly welcome the help." She replied, before turning to regard the approaching Hologram and her film crew. The Freedom League member stood back slightly, as Hologram focused on Edge and what he was doing. But when the UNISON superagent reappeared and the loud ROAR echoed across the estate, the speedster glanced over in the direction of the noise. "That does not sound good. I had better go make sure everything is okay." And then she was gone in a blur of yellow.

Dee could only frown as her brother arrived on the scene, followed instantly by the two brainwashed athletes who took a shot that came far too close to her brother for the Englishwoman's liking. "No time to properly explain." She shouted to her brother. "But once again some Russian athletes are gunning for you." She added as a warning. At the same moment, the red field of psychic energy sprung back up around Dee as she focused back on the two athletes, preparing to try to mentally blast them into unconsciousness once more.

Velocity turned her head to look at Edge as the UNISON agent came up alongside her with a greeting, although she had already seen him thanks to her goggles. "Good afternoon Edge." The yellow clad speedster said with a smile as they came to a halt next to the cage of Tibetan blue bears. "Things are going about as well as can be expected right now, though mainly my job here right now is to fill out paperwork and oversee things. You and the numerous other volunteers are the ones figuring out what needs to be done and then taking care of it."
-
Velocity frowned slightly as she listened to the injured driver's story, quickly taking in more details of the crash and the car as she did thanks to the 360 degree view her goggles provided her, along with magnification as well. "Well, I don't think I believe you." She said to the driver as she moved with a quick blur once more, snatching up the piece of paper she had spotted near the gun case and the stopping back where she had started once more. "Just moments ago you were saying you were threatened by your passenger and were supposed to take him to some safehouse. Now you say he paid your 'agency,' and you were only supposed to drive him around the corner to where he would meet up with someone else. So, what is really going on, and what is your roll in this?"

Well, I think Int is usually used for memory, but Velocity only got a http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4531768/'>5, so with that roll it did not matter anyway.

Giang watched with slight annoyance as the large mech repaired some of the damage caused by Gene. Clearly this was going to make things more difficult. She and Set's companion had managed to cause some additional damage at least, though it weathered another assault from the explosive Claremont student. At Set's comments about the gunmen and mech, the Asian teen could not help but give a slight sigh. --So how did they obtain the equipment once used by your hirelings?-- Giang asked over the psychic network Thoughtspeed had established. --And I take it they specifically came looking for you?-- While she waited for Set's answers, the Asian teen once again sent a powerful blast of water streaking through the air at the massive mech. Once again the powerful jet of water struck the machine dead center.

Dee listened to what Blonsky was saying, while not particularly enjoying what she was hearing. She did not like the sound of the Sleeper at all, and in many ways the former Soviet agent sounded far too much like Headcase for her liking. The Doctor did not sound much better. At least they had some idea of what they were up against, although Dee wished Jasmine was here, as organic chemistry was the Canadian's area of expertise, not Dee's. Pushing that out of her mind for the moment, she instead turned to regard Erick as he asked about the two athletes still out there. "Last I saw them, they were down by the luge. So I figure they are probably somewhere between here and there."

Okay, while I wait for your IC post Giz, I will make an attack roll for Tsunami, still fully Power Attack shifted (-5 atk/+5 dam), and she only gets a 10 on the attack roll. Unless that hits (and even with the mecha feinted, I am not sure it will, so she will use a HP to reroll, 14, which is increased to 24 with the +10 to the 8 rolled. Damage is DC 31 again (+18 attack for knockback purposes)

Okay, going to grab the cylinder, then take 20 on Notice checks to study it and the back of the car (which with her level of Quickness equals a free action). Also, one note, the gunman could not have directly met Velocity's eyes, as they are behind mirrored goggles.

Velocity blinked slightly as the car seemed to vanish in front of her and then crash into a wall behind her without seemingly moving. The speedster was moving at once, zipping over to the car in a blur of yellow, so when the driver staggered out of the car, dropping some small cylinder, she reacted in an instant. The driver had likely hardly had time to register where she was before Velocity had moved over and collected the cylinder and then moved a short distance away. "Okay, just what is going on here? Who are you and what is this?" She asked, holding the cylinder out in front of her as she studied carefully in a blink of an eye, before taking another moment to carefully consider the back of the car to hope to gain some idea of what might have happened to the gunman.

Velocity made her way across the grounds of compound that had been the Crime League's underground hunting reserve, a means of providing a steady stream of income for the supervillain group. The goggles the young Freedom Leaguer wore provided her with a steady stream of everything around her, her superspeed allowing her to take in and process the rapid stream of information that would nauseate a normal person. But right now she was feeling a bit nauseated herself, but from the thought of what used to take place here to the animals that were the prey. She had not been part of the team that had helped kick the Crime League out, but she was part of the group sent to help in the cleanup along with the other groups present. Of course, that meant she was missing the parent-teacher conferences for Lawrence at the Nicholson School, leaving Robert to have to navigate that alone. The old-style English manor house that was at the center of the compound further reminded the heroine of her fiancé, looking very much like his family home in the English countryside. Velocity had no idea what they were going to be able to do with all of these animals, some of which were rather dangerous and in some cases, not even from this planet. She hoped some of the other experts that were had arrived to help try to address the situation would come up with some good answers.

Fair enough on the subtle. For the Enviro Control: well, as I was reading how you have it set up (for the mix-and-match version), you could do either version of Hampered Movement, depending on how many points you want to allocate. Also, the heat effect has two levels, Heat and Intense Heat. Yeah, figured that was the reasoning on the Pyrokinesis, cannot say I am a personal fan of that, but I know many here accept that, so okay.

Well Rav, not too much to comment on here, but a couple of things: First, for the Psychokinesis Array, how are all of those powers Subtle? More particularly, how can the Environmental Control be able to Reduce Visibility and be Subtle at the same time? Also for the Environmental Control, how does Telekinesis and Pyrokinesis allow you to create Cold/Intense Cold? You should also note that the Hamper Movement can be one-half or one-quarter and the Heat can be Heat or Intense Heat, depending on how many pp you want to put in. Finally, for the Pyrokinetic blast, how is it that she never, ever, misses with the attack (ie Perception ranged)?

Finishing her work, Dee stood back up, disarmed mine now in hand as she turned back toward Erick and the restrained Blonsky. "So, the sleeper has mental abilities as well." She stated. "Good to know. But we are going to want to know a lot more than just that. About him and the doctor, and what exactly they are up to." "And by the way, your little trap is no longer a threat." The young Englishwoman added, holding up the disarmed mine for Blonsky to see. She looked back to Erick. "We should get moving, those two thugs are likely making their way back. Though I want to make sure that they are not a threat to the competitors."

Giang came quickly back to her feet after just avoiding taking a square hit from the giant mech's laser. She was relieved to see Gene had managed to free up Set's companion, and that Will was able to stay ahead of the attacks of the gunmen. So the Asian teen focused her attention back on the massive mech, focusing her power as she again took a set forward and swept her hands up in front of her. Once again powerful jets of water shot forth from the empty air, twisting and coiling as they sped toward the mech. The watery blast stuck the massive machine squarely once more, this time actually appearing to cause the machine some damage, although minor in nature.

Okay Ari, just a few things I note about Mind-Set: First, for the Mind Blast, I think you left off reducing the it to Ranged (as you have bought the Accurate feat), for as you have it written, it would be 35 pp, not 25. For Emotion Control, I do not think you need Reversible, as Emotion Control is a sustained effect, you can just turn it off to reverse it. I do not think Precise adds anything to Illusion, as nothing about the write up suggests you need the feat to make detailed illusions. For Mind Reading, you currently have it miss priced, as it is only 1 pp per rank base, and with your extra and flaw, it stays that. Did you also want to have it Selective maybe? (as otherwise you will always be reading all minds within the radius?) As with Illusion, Precise is not an appropriate feat, as it adds nothing for the power.
