Well, Malcom has been interposing for Jack, and as the feat says the decision to do so has to be made before the attack roll is made, he will just have to suck up that critical hit. And he does not, as he gets a 13 on his Toughness save, meaning he is OUT!

So Crow is dazed until he can make a Fort save. Blode is up!

When Foreshadow climbed into the van to take a look what was in the crates stacked in the back, he was slightly surprised to find a small portable DVD player sitting open on the nearest stack of crates. Pressing the play button, the screen came on to show a shadowy room with the faint outline of a figure visible within the shadows. "Good evening Foreshadow, I knew the time had come when our paths would cross, if only indirectly. You have managed to avoid the small obstacles I set out in your path and have managed to capture this van. Congratulations." "Of course, I foresaw the likelihood of this outcome, so you have actually provide me a small service by dealing with some members of my organization that were not meeting my expectations. I am also sorry to say that this van did not contain any of the arms shipment I was bringing in. Perhaps your ability to see the future is not as accurate as your predecessor?" "Whatever the case, I know that this is just the beginning. We will have to see which of us has our precognitive abilities fail them at the most critical moment." With that last comments, the screen went black as the recording ended. Checking a couple of the crates, Foreshadow found that they were full of mechanical parts, providing enough weight to make the crates feel as if they contained several firearms.

Cape, did Cruxberry enter the Haven with us, or stay outside the entryway?

Okay, with Jay holding for Raven, Blode is up!

Strand gets a really good toughness save (28), so only picks up a bruise. Mess is up!

Dee was busy typing away as fast as she could, but VERA was managing to keep things just out of reach. For the moment she and Jasmine had been able to shut off the security systems, and were pulling a few random files from the system before the access Dee had previously managed to get was lost. The English woman quickly scanned those they were able to secure, reading far faster than a normal person could. Champion...why the bloody hell did he try to self destruct the Haven and then lock out all access when he couldn't? She commented over her telepathic link, even as she listened to Jasmine's thoughts on what they could do to try to help the special forces operatives that had been turned into the anti-bodies. Well, looks like we have got the access. The Englishwoman replied as she access the file for the London Tube and opened the transport system to Freedom City. Though might take a few trips, and there is the problem that this will take us to the basement of the British embassy in Freedom City.

Okay, Lucy is up, I figure she has enough movement to get up to the rooftop in a move action.
-
The young woman gave a startled cry as the short, oozing form of Bloody Mess slammed into her and began grabbing her with its shortened limbs. "What the...oh gross! What the hell are you?" The supervillainess cried out as her arms were pinned and a good bit of her hair became coated with oozing blood. Suddenly the amount of hair around Bloody Mess seemed to multiply, becoming a tangled forest of strands of hair that were grabbing at him, trying to pull him free from the costumed criminal. But all that seemed to do was get more and more of the hair gummed up in Bloody Mess' oozing form as the villainess toppled over onto the rooftop with Mess still holding on...

Gorodetsky had been silent for the rest of the opening ceremonies, so Dee had gone back to ignoring him. Once they ended, he had disappeared into the crowd, leaving her alone, although there was likely to be someone keeping an eye on her, if from a distance. Dee started on her way through the crowd as well, keeping an eye on Erick and the Russian man with him, wondering what they were up to. Again she had a temptation to pry into one of their minds, but resisted the urge for the moment. Until she had something a bit more concrete, she was not about to start digging around in other peoples' minds. As they moved out into the crowd of people that were making their way back towards the Olympic Village, Dee spotted the small knot of large Russian athletes that had the same blank, single minded stare as those two in the hotel. She frowned for a moment, wondering if this had something to do with some of the rumors about illegal enhancement drugs being used by some athletes. Spotting her brother nearby, the young woman sighed inwardly as she moved towards him in order to have a more convincing reason to be in the area. "Hello Edward." She said in a rather neutral tone. "Enjoying your time so far?"

Okay, the security guard in the control room watching the video cameras makes his notice check (with the bonuses provided by the cameras) and gets a 26! Uh oh! Go ahead a post for Hound starting to sneak out of the office area Cape. And Crimson is up!

As he drew closer, The Crier realized that the two guards manning the gate were not nearly as inattentive as he had initially believed. Though the guard crossing back and forth behind the gate clearly was cold, his steely gaze still was focused on the area out beyond the fences that he could see from his post. On closer inspection, the blogger turned superpowered investigator noted that the sidearm on the man's belt was not a standard firearm, instead appearing to be some sort of energy weapon. The guard inside the small shack was no less distracted, his gaze focused outside the windows to the lit streets and sidewalks beyond the gate. But as alert as the two guards were, The Crier's abilities made it virtually impossible for them to spot him, as he crouched down low and made his way under the lowered gate and into the open space beside the damaged office building. Once he had moved a short distance from the gate and the two guards posted there, The Crier examined the building more closely. The main doors stood closed a short distance away, though whether they were locked or not he could not tell without checking them. Off to the left hand side of the building were several large garage doors that appeared to lead into loading docks. He might be able to try one of those or a side door nearby. Then there was the large sections of wall torn away on some of the upper floors, which could provide easy access if he was able to climb up to there.

Pierce, I apologize that I was not a bit clearer in my last comments, most of that was suggestions, not something you had to change. (the only thing that needed to be changed was listing the Super Movement seperate). So, on the new version, here are a few more suggestions/thoughts (feel free to disregard if you wish): 1) Yes, how you have structured your STR, Melee Attack bonus and Strike power now allows you to focus on a single target, but sacrificing +4 damage (the strike power). It might be more effective to structure the Strike as an array, with one slot for a single attack that does more damage, and a alt that is the area attack. You could place the Attack Focus: Melee 6 into that array as Accurate 3 (same +6 to hit) so that both powers get the benefit, and if you later added an alternate slot for a range attack, that could also get the benefit of the Accurate 3. This is totally up to you, just another way to structure things. If you are happy as it is right now, keep it, you can always restructure later if you choose to. 2) The Leaping power: it certainly makes sense that as fast as the Blur is, his leaps could be much greater than normal. But 10 ranks seems to me like that might be a bit excessive (again, this is a personal view, and not anything you need to follow). 10 ranks makes his jumps 2,500 times greater than normal, that is a running long jump of 35,000 feet (close to 7 miles) and a high jump of 7,500 feet (well over a mile). Now, I know comic book physics can be quite forgiving, but why would the Blur be able to handle the landing from such a long distance and considerable momentum of such a jump? Another thing to consider, if you were to try to use the full leaping distance (either long or high) it takes a full 6 rounds for you to land.

"I would think that a good spot of tea would be just the thing for the cold." ALEX replied to Georgia's request for some cocoa. "But, I suppose a warm cup of cocoa would do the trick as well. Certainly did for Master Chase and his siblings when they were younger." The android added as it started off towards a side hallway to gather the requested refreshments. A few short minutes later, ALEX returned, carrying a try on which there a number of glasses of water, several cups of hot cocoa, and some plates with an assortment of crackers and cheeses set out. ALEX set the tray on a coffee table in the center of the room. "Please help yourselves. I shall be attending to some other duties, but should you require anything else, there is an intercom on the wall with which you may call me."

GM "Tyrannosaurs? Why yes indeed, they stalk the jungles and plains in the Lost World. And no, they do not have feathers." Zandar replied to Cho's questions with a warm smile as he greeted the tall teen. He then moved on to Juno, shaking her hand as well, his smile still in place. Kazra stopped to shake Juno’s hand when the teenager greeted her. "Nice to meet you Juno." The younger girl said in return. "I hope your stay is as eventful as last year, I helped Giang and the others stop the Serpent People before they could unleash a dinosaur army on my father's kingdom and the neighboring lands." Zandar had moved on to Sam, taking her hand and giving a slight bow in return to her more formal and old fashion greeting. "And a very great pleasure to make your acquaintance as well Ms. Vance." He stated in reply. He finished with Gene, shaking the teen’s hand and giving him a wide grin at his question. "No, not far up the mountain." He replied. "But through some jungles, yes. For that is the best means by which to see the wonders of my realm." When Kazra finished greeting the rest of the assembled teens, Zandar gestured towards the tree line he and his daughter had emerged from. "Now then, let us be on our way!" And with that he turned and led the gathered teens into the jungle. At first, the terrain was rather easy to traverse, the shade of the trees helping somewhat with the heat, though less so with the humidity. But then the group started to go uphill, the incline being the main difficult at first. But soon Zandar had taken them off to one side and into a narrow ravine, where they had to climb over fallen boulders and piles of rock as they went. After several minutes of climbing, the group turned a corner and the gathered tens were suddenly had a feeling like the world warped and reeled around them! As the walls of the ravine burred and seemed to shift, the Claremont students suddenly found themselves on a hillside overlooking a vast jungle that seemed to stretch from horizon to horizon, broken only by a larger river that twisted through the green. The air was heavy with old plant growth, the temperature seemingly even hotter than where they had just been. Echoing from the trees blow, they could hear all manner of howls, deep roars and the thunderous stamping of massive feet. Up in the sky around the river, they could make out great winged animals wheeling and circling. Down at the nearest banks of the river were dozens of massive forms, moving along the shoreline or in the shallows. Some were two legged dinosaurs, with long tails, others were massive four legged dinosaurs with long necks. "Welcome children of Earth, to my kingdom, the Lost World!" Zandar stated as he gestured to the lands stretched out below the group.

After the five teens clamored into the elevator with their bags, Mali found there were no buttons or other control panels, only a scanner located on the right hand side of the doors. Swiping the key card she had been provided in front of the scanner caused the doors to slide silently closed. The elevator then began to rise smoothly upward. It was difficult to tell just how fast the elevator was going, so smooth was the acceleration, and then after only a few moments, the five teens could feel a shift in inertia as the elevator began to slow down once more. When the elevator came to a complete stop, the doors slid silently open once more. The Claremont students found themselves in a large, brightly lit room. To the right hand side were large windows that faced east, looking out over the buildings of City Center. The room contained a number of sleek leather sofas and chairs, a few paintings of the walls of rather unusual landscapes. A couple of hallways and doors led off from the room in various directions. And standing a short distance from the elevator was what was clearly a robot or android, dressed in a butler's uniform. "Greetings, welcome to the Nucleus." The android said in a very upper-class British accent. "Master Chase will be with you momentarily, so please make yourselves comfortable." It continued, indicating the nearby sofas and chairs. "I am ALEX, please do not hesitate to inform me if there is anything you might need to help make your wait more pleasant."

After all three criminals crumpled to the ground unconscious, silence fell over the scene, save for the van's idling motor. There were no other occupants in the vehicle, and Foreshadow could make out some long thin creates stacked in the back of the van. The buildings around the intersection were dark and quiet, a couple of street lights providing the best light beyond the faint glow from the nearby downtown lights. If the other two vans had been proceeding as quickly as this one had gone, Foreshadow was certain they were likely long gone by now!

Giang smiled as she returned the young girl’s hug. "It is very good to see you again as well Kazra." She said. After the two had disengaged, she turned to face Zandar, placing her palms together in front of her and giving a slight bow. "It is an honor to see you once more Lord Zandar, and we are most grateful for your hospitality." The Asian teen then shook Zandar's hand as he stepped forward. She then turned back towards the others. "Allow me to introduce my fellow students, Samantha Vance, Cho Paige Lee, Juno Dempsey and Eugene King." Giang said by way of introduction. "Lord Zandar will be our host for the next two days, and this is Kazra, his youngest daughter." She added as the Jungle Lord stepped forward to shake hands with each of the students, his daughter following after him.

GM Suddenly a loud voice with a very British accent spoke from the edge of the nearby jungle. "That is so often the problem with those in the modern world. They are in such a rush to get from one place to another, that they often miss what lies between." Stepping out from the shadows was a tall tanned man, over six feet in height and powerfully built. With dark brown eyes and shoulder length black hair that had just a touch of grey, he projected a powerful presence, one that was enhanced by the animal skin clothing he wore and the necklace of massive teeth larger than any normal predatory animal. Across his back was slung a large spear and at one hip he wore a long bladed knife. The man had a broad smile on his face as he moved forward. "And in this instance, what we will be seeking lies in the points between. Greetings, I am Zandar, Jungle Lord of the Lost World." He said in greeting as his gaze focused on Giang. "Giang, it is wonderful to see you again! I am very glad you were able to come visit us once again." He then looked over the other gathered students. "And the rest of you, welcome! I am pleased Headmaster Summers has sent another group of students to visit. Surely there will be much we will be able to learn from each other." A second figure emerged from the shadows after Zandar, a young girl, likely no older than twelve or thirteen. She was dressed similarly to Zandar and there was a strong family resemblance, though her complexion was slightly darker. In one hand she carried a short spear. As the girl spotted Giang, her mouth widened into a large smile as she rushed forward to hug the Asian teen. "I am glad you were able to visit again Giang!"

So Raven has pulled Jay beyond the wrecked elevator. They are in a dark hallway about twenty five feet long, with two doors along the walls (opposite each other) about fifteen feet down, and a metal door at the end of the hall.
-
Round Eight (6 rounds till computer files begin to delete!) 29 Blue Jay (1 HP, Unharmed, Stunned) (+2 to next Fort check) 24 Blodeuwedd (1 HP, Unharmed) 17 Raven (Unharmed) 12 Crow (1 HP, Unharmed, Gappled Coat is suffering fatigue (-2 ranks to all powers until repaired)) 8 Warden (Unharmed) Rav, need a Fort save +2 from Blue Jay (DC 20), if she makes it, she is able to act this round! If not, then Blode is up.
-
Then the rune exploded, filling the sewer with a loud *BOOM* as the power of the explosion blew a large hole in the wall. Dust filled the section of the sewer where Crow and Blodeuwedd were standing. Peering through the haze, Crow could see another room beyond, the wall on the opposite side damaged, but not demolished by the shaped charge’s explosion. Then suddenly, the first cable wrapped around Crow, who had been distracted in setting the explosive rune. Once again the dark clad cowl felt the powerful electrical current ripple through his body… Inside the dark control room not far from where Crow and Blodeuwedd were, the collection of monitors and other equipment shook as the explosion echoed nearby. A few of the monitors went out, as the cameras that had been providing the video feed were destroyed. Warden braced himself as the room shook briefly, frowning underneath his mask. Not only did it appear that whoever was in the sewers had managed to breach the outer wall into the building’s basement, but Raven and the bow using teen were moving forward in the basement as well, even if the teen was currently somewhat incapacitated. One monitor next to Warden still showed a countdown that was ticking off, some thirty six seconds left until the computer system began deleting its files. Keying the last line of traps around the control room, Warden stood up from his chair and moved towards a door along one wall…
-
So, the first cable in the sewer reaches after Crow after he blew a hole in the wall, getting a 13. Normally that would miss, but his stunted power was distracting, making him lose his dodge bonus (ie flat footed), so that actually hits. A 39 on its grapple check, and another DC 20 Fort save for Crow vs the Stun.
-
Okay, the walls make a saving throw (after being reduced by the corrosion), getting a 17. I will read that result at the outer wall gets a big hole blow in it, and the next wall 10 feet beyond is damaged, but not broken.
-
Okay, so we are back to Harry.
