Well, right now the hair is doing something else other than being used for grappling, she only gets a 26, close, but not quite good enough, so she is grappled.

Jack attacks Lucy, hitting with a 25, so DC 27 toughness save for Lucy.] Malcom’s reaction punch is a miss with a 12. Malcom then makes his regular attack on Lucy, hitting with a 23 (another DC 27 toughness save). Jack just misses with his reaction punch, getting a 21.

Diaz watched Crimson Tiger with a look of amazement as she easily took down two of the fighters near the pair. "Wow.." he began to say when he was cut off by the sound of a gunshot and the crack of a bullet as it passed near them and impacted on one of the walls in the hallway. Glancing over at the sound of the gunshot, Diaz and Crimson saw one of the guys in cheap suits standing in the nearby doorway to the waiting room, a smoking gun in his hand. In a flash, Diaz rushed over, delivering a powerful right cross that caught the thug across the jaw, snapping his head to one side and sending him crumpling to the ground like a sack of potatoes. Over near the main melee, the last remaining fighter in the hallway took advantage of Freddy being dazed, delivering a powerful roundhouse kick to the side of Freddy's head. But even somewhat out of sorts, the experienced fighter was able to move with the hit, and between that reaction and his natural toughness, come out none the worse for wear.

Ah, right, I missed that, I guess he isn't, either way, you made the toughness save against the shifted attack, would easily have made it against a non-shifted.
-
Okay, Fighter 9 does not feel like going back into the hallway, so he is pretty much out of the fight. Diaz will hold his action for the moment. Thug 5 moves over to the door Fighter 8 had come out of, and takes a shot at Crimson, missing with a 12. Diaz moves over to attack Thug 5, power attacking for -5 attack/+5 damage, taking 10 to hit the thug and knocking him out as he cannot make that toughness save. Fighter 7 attacks Mess, power attacking -4 attack/+4 damage (as Mess is prone, so +4 to hit), hitting with a 25, so DC 18 toughness save for Mess.

The van continued for about two blocks, reaching a speed that Foreshadow estimated to be about fifty miles an hour. Then suddenly, the driver slammed on the breaks, the tires screeching as it skidded to a halt. The sudden stop almost caught the costumed crime fighter off guard, and sending him flying off the roof of the van. But, at the last moment, he managed to flip over, one hand reaching out to grasp the edge of the roof to keep him from flying forward. Somehow he managed to avoid wrenching his shoulder out of its socket, the flexibility developed by years of gymnastics certainly helping. Unfortunately, the sudden maneuver was not something he could finesse, and his body slammed down on the van's roof with a loud *THUMP*. . .

With things under control in the lobby and the hotel manager focused on the guest that seemed to have been in the center of the disturbance, Dee focused her attention to getting checked in. The young woman was a bit curious about what could be going on with those brainwashed bruisers. But for the moment, she kept that curiosity in check. Soon she had completed checking in and had her room key. A bellhop brought her luggage up to the room, storing them in the closet. After giving him a nice tip, she was then alone. Glancing around the room, it was a quite elegant, but in a far more formal style than Dee preferred. The Englishwoman smirked slightly, as she wondered if Russian security forces had taken the time to bug the room. Whether they did nor not, she was not going to be overly concerned at the moment. Instead, she walked over to the king sized bed and flopped down on the covers, deciding to get a bit of rest before the opening ceremony tonight.

Just a single move action.

HGM, can I get a Reflex save, a Toughness save and a Acrobatic check? (I probably will not need them all, but figured it best to ask all at once just in case )
-
That is enough for him to catch up with her on a nearby rooftop.
-
Okay, as Hound and Mess follow each other in initiative, you can just combined them into one post if you want (should make it easier to make a significant post)
-
Actually Cape, I forgot to check the initiative list (in my above post and when I was talking in chat). Mess was dazed last round, so he does not get to act this round. I will try to get a post in soon to move us forward.

QUICKENED BY SUPERCAPE Spending 5 of Velocity's unspent points. 2 pp to skills for 3 ranks of Concentration (up to 9 ranks) 3 ranks Sense motive (up to 7 ranks) 2 ranks Diplomacy (up to 8 ranks) 1 pp for another rank of Luck 2 pp to bump her array up one more rank. (to 19 ranks total) Inside the array, I have added progressions to her Sonic Boom, allowing her to either make it bigger, or smaller, if she chooses to use the feats. I bumped up her Quickness and Speed increase in Maximum Velocity slightly. Added another rank of Accurate and Improved Critical for the Rapid Fire alt power. Increased the damage for Rapid Attack and added another rank of Accurate.

Fair enough Rose, my list was mainly based off age, not taking into account such things as how the character might fit in academically, which is best answered by the players (and there was joking about that very thing with Errant taking place in chat today )

Velocity As Asad approached and offered his hand to her, Velocity could not help but smile. That was in part because of his compliment, but also in part because she wondered what the billionaire hero would think if he realized that he had once promised her father to refrain from such behavior with her and her sister. But of course, Asad did not know that behind Velocity's mask, mirrored goggles and brunette wig was Megan Howell. In fact, Megan's dad had not know that either until about a month or so ago. Of course, any "moment" of hesitation for the speedster was a mere microsecond to the rest of the room, so she appeared to smoothly take his hand at her smile. "Why that would be a pleasure sir." She replied as they started to lead the way back to the dance floor.

Giang Trang was just finishing slipping on a light sweatshirt as she dressed to go outside to join Cerys in helping to clear the snow from the Zen Garden. Unlike a number of her fellow students, the extreme cold Freedom City had experienced the past few days had not bothered the Asian teen at all, despite her having grown up in a subtropical climate. But while she had not been forced to be coped up like some of the others, she was more than happy to help to clear the Zen Garden, a place she regularly visited to meditate or just relax. "Are you ready Thaelia?" Giang asked as she turned to regard her Atlantean roommate.

Fighter 6 gets a 14, so he is staggered and dazed, and all but out of the fight. Go ahead with your IC post. Mess is up!
-
He gets a 9, so he is out cold. You can either do knockback, or say it was some leaping downward kick, and just drive him painfully to the floor.
-
Fair enough, just wanted to be sure you knew of the option. And you can place that area effect a good ways from you, if you wish to.
-
Roo, you might not want to do that. If you're spreading out your Snare area bursts with Autofire (ie having the bursts go off in more than one small area), you need to use the full round action Autofire to spread out the shots. Otherwise, using a standard action, your Snare attack would only be in the 25' radius, with autofire taking place within that. I would imagine the guns are far more spread out than one 25' radius area. Also, the further you spread out the autofire attack, the more penalties you will have to try to Snare the Antibodies (assuming you want to spread out the attack)

Okay, Lucy finds a side door she is easily able to smash through. Hound is up!
-
Yeah, Harry notices the bad girl exit (and probably hears her breaking the hole in the roof). She swings by a thick strand of hair grabbing the bridge overhead (some 50' or more up from where she is) over to another building rooftop. So, Lucy is up!
-
So, Mess clearly sees all that. Hero point to each of you on her being able to just smash the hole in the roof and try to escape. Of course, there is a good likelihood the two of you can try to give chase, so Lucy is up for that. Also Cape, give me a notice check for Harry please, and might want to throw an initiative roll for him as well. Initiative currently is at: 26 Revenant (bruised, 2 HP) 19 Bloody Mess (unharmed, 3 HP) 6 Strand (unharmed)
-
Even peering in the general direction of where Lucy had been heading, Mess was still unable to spot the thief. The shadows up in the rafters were still concealing her, at least for the moment. "Oh, well, that was me." Came the voice from the darkness. "But I don't have the statute any longer. And seeing as I have no plan on going to jail and you don't want to let me just leave, I will just have to make my exit." Lucy saw that around the figure in the shadows, a large mass of hair seemed to suddenly form and then strike out towards the side of the roof like a giant fist. A large chunk of the roof was knocked out, letting in the afternoon sunlight from outside, something that Mess was able to hone in on. Both he and Lucy could now more clearly see the supervillainess, a woman in a black costume with some green trim and very long brown hair. a thick strand of that hair stretched out of the hole she had just created, and a moment later she was pulled out along after it...
-
Even with her Stealth lowered by moving faster than half speed, she gets a 24, so Mess doesn't spot her, but that is going to change in just a moment.
