Gah, silly me, I forgot to roll the toughness save for the cable Blode sliced. It only gets a 12, so it is disabled, so not completely destroyed, but might as well be. Crow is released. So, Crow is up!
-
Go ahead with a notice check, I'll give you a +2 for getting a cue from Lucy of a general direction.
-
Yeah, that will not be a problem Crimson is up!

As the costumed crime fighter chose a van to follow and began swinging after it, he saw the van continuing to accelerate. Realizing any chance of catching the van was quickly fading, Foreshadow kicked his feet forward to accelerate his swing. He was certain that he would be able to reach the van, whether he would be able to land on the top of the moving vehicle without alerting the occupants was another matter. As he drew near the van, the experienced gymnast considered the best angle to try to land quietly on the top. Releasing the cable in his multipurpose escrima stick, Foreshadow was momentarily propelled forward with nothing to secure him. If he missed the van, it could be a very painful mistake. His feet skimmed across the top of the van, as he slid almost the entire length of the vehicle. When his forward momentum finally stopped, he was in a low crouch, bracing as he adjusted to the vehicle's acceleration, gently leaning back to balance with one hand to keep from falling backwards. He had managed to do so without any loud thumps or other sound, and for the moment it did not appear that the driver or any other occupants knew he was there. Of course, there was the issue of the van still accelerating....

Okay, I am going with you getting a situational bonus because of the successful acrobatics check, so your Stealth roll is to high for them to beat as a result.
-
Yeah, not an easy thing. Please give me an acrobatics roll and a stealth roll.
-
Okay HGM, so the vans are starting to accelerate. Foreshadow probably has maybe two rounds to try to keep up with them swinging before they really start pulling away from him, so let me know what you might want him to do.
-
Yeah, Synapse gets a 6 on her initiative. Also, she cannot miss that Notice check.

GM With the original Legion knocked unconscious, all the duplicates that were still active vanished. Luckily, the bags some of those had been carrying did not disappear with them, but lay on the ground where the duplicates holding them had vanished. The bystanders that were in the area moved away from the center of the plaza, a few leaving the scene altogether, but many staying to watch what was going on. There were a few assorted cheers among the mostly silent shoppers. Giang relaxed her stance, the sheen of water that was swirling around her disappearing. Off in the distance, the three teenage heroines could hear the approach of police sirens.

The blond haired Battle Brother had just recovered from Lucy's last attack, but could only look at her fist come at him as she snapped back around to correct her earlier mistake. But then, the African American Battle Brother had stepped into the path of the attach, flinching as he took the hit square in the chest with a loud *WHAM* that echoed in the hallway. But despite the power behind Lucy's punch, the Battle Brother seemed unhurt by the hit as he stood facing the undead attorney. In the doorway to the waiting room near the main melee in the hall, the fighter that Crimson Tiger had dazed before she had left that room still did not see any opening to try to move and help in the fight. Then he glanced back into the waiting room and seemed to nod to someone and moved out of view. A few moments later, he exited the other door further up the hallway, coming out near Diaz, who was still dealing with another fighter. Up in the offices of the manufacturing plant, Harry was rifling through file cabinets and drawers at a rapid pace. But as he glanced at the documents he was finding, all he was seeing was purchase orders and shipping receipts, the types of documents one would expect to find in such a place. Then suddenly, as he just finished with a desk drawer, light from a flashlight shone onto one of the windows overlooking the factory floor.

Malcom uses interpose to take the hit for Jack, he gets a 31 on his toughness save, so takes the hit with no problem. Fighter 8 ducks back into the waiting room and disappears from view, reappearing at the other door up near Diaz. Hound is up!

The cold wind whipped across Foreshadow's face as he swung after three vans, and if it were not for the lenses of his mask, he was rather certain the cold would have brought tears to his eyes. Landing on the edge of a low rooftop just behind the vans, the costumed crime fighter looked down at the three as they began to pick up speed. So far, he was just keeping pace with them, if they accelerated too much, he would not be able to do so. Just as they reached the intersection, the issues with following the vans compounded, as they split up to go in three different directions. One continued straight ahead, the others turned left and right, respectively.

No, I have been very lax with Rep charts for Synapse and Tsunami both. Well, even if we applied a penalty for not being from the UK, that is still a pretty good roll. So, even only hearing a last name, I would guess between her appearance and accent (and Erick's memory), he can identify her based on some things he has read in various UK tabloids (why he might read those I guess is up to you). He would know she is the daughter of a prominent English Lord who is a member of the House of Lords. The tabloids generally regard her as one of the "bad girls" of the British aristocracy, but in her case it is because of her apparent rejection of being part of that social class (ie she has never been seen at any typical aristocratic social events, and is much more likely to be photographed coming out of some underground club venue) and the fact she has a history of being ejected from various private boarding schools pre-college. He likely would also know she attended Oxford, and graduated with honors in physics and mathematics.

Dee kept the athlete she was mind controlling focused on restraining his companion, making the security guards' job easier when they finally had decided to act. Once the athlete was subdued, she released her hold on his mind. Having spent a bit of time in the man's mind, and having seen his companion's behavior, the Englishwoman was rather certain that some sort of brainwashing had taken place on both men. When the reception manager came forward and spoke up, mentioning that anyone without a reservation had to leave the hotel, and including a pointed look at her while he spoke, Dee simply returned his look with a fierce glare, challenging him to try to throw her out. She then made her way over towards the reception desk, setting her passport down on the counter. "You have a reservation for me, under Farrington." She said in English, her refined British accent unmistakable.

Yeah, I believe so

Figured I would throw one for Synapse (who actually has a +6 thanks to her Int), but she only got a 19.
-
Well, Synapse cannot miss that Sense Motive check. And she gets a 21 on her Kn: Behavioral Sciences check (which is considered trained thanks to Eidetic Memory).

A quick glance around the rooftop reveled no other snipers or guards present. But just as Foreshadow was picking up the Dragunov, he heard the sound of metal loading bay doors rolling up and the vehicle engines. Moving back to the ledge where the sniper had been perched, he did not need the weapon's telescopic sight to see what was happening. The large garage doors for the building where he had fought the three sentries had rolled up and three black vans were rolling out of the building and into the snow dusted streets.

Cape, I think Roo might have meant if she comes over to look at the files on Project Antibody (though I could be wrong).
-
Yeah, no way the guy could make that toughness save (with a critical hit and +4 damage from autofire). So, post taking him down hard (and no, not too off his game, but he is sort of alternating between really good rolls and pretty bad ones )
-
As soon as Foreshadow passed over him, the sniper was back up and turning towards the dark clad crime fighter. Now that he was closer, Foreshadow could see the man was armed with a Dragunov SVD sniper rifle. Given the relatively close quarters the two were now engaged in, the sniper apparently decided his weapon was too unwieldy to try to continue shooting at Foreshadow. Instead, he rushed forward, swinging his weapon up as he tried to slam the rifle butt into Foreshadow's face. But the agile hero was ready, easily deflecting the attack aside with a double block using both escrima sticks. The sniper stumbled forward a step or two as his attack was turned aside and his momentum carried him forward, but then he steadied himself and tried to turn back towards the costumed crime fighter to be ready for any counter attack.
-
The sniper turns around and tries to hit Foreshadow with the butt of his sniper rifle, missing with a 13.
-
Man, Foreshadow is off his game! Perhaps there might be an IC reason to explain this to be revealed soon (yes, that is a miss, barely)

With a quick motion, Raven pulled a Ravenrang from her utility belt and sent it spinning through the air towards one of the remotes hovering above her and Blue Jay. The small remotes were fast and agile, but the experienced cowl was right on target, the metal projectile striking one of the remote dead center and slicing through the casing to the vulnerable systems inside. The remote sparked violently, the arc of electricity between it and the other remote fluttering once or twice before disappearing altogether. The damaged remote then spun erratically out of control, bounding off the wall of the elevator shaft before falling harmless to the ground. "Let's get going." Raven said quietly to the still stunned Blue Jay, pulling the teenage archer with her over the wreckage of the elevator and into a hallway beyond.
