GM Crimson Tiger's powerful knee strike sent the Legion duplicate she had been focusing on flying several feet through the air and landing hard on the ground. The second Legion glanced over at Tsunami a brief moment before she closed with Crimson once more, her staff spinning around as she closed. "Well, you can talk trash as much as you want red. But the fact of the matter is, we have done what we needed to. While you and your friends have been busy with us, the real me and some other duplicates have got ahold of a nice haul of diamonds from a jewelry store." The Legion whipped her staff around at the martial artist's head, but Crimson was easily able to duck under the attack.

Inside the waiting room, another fighter that had been engaging with Freddy and Crimson Tiger remains in place as the short pugilist moves out into the hall and engages with the Battle Brothers and the red clad heroine is surrounded by other fighters for the moment. But he watches for an opening with the martial artist. In the hallway at the door to the room where Diaz was being kept, the fighter who opened the door moves in and closes with Lucy as well. He delivers a solid punch that likely would have seriously hurt a normal person. But Lucy barely even registers that she has been hit, as the man winces slightly as he feels as if he has hit a brick wall. The other fighter near him delivers a kick to Lucy's right side, but it has no more effect that the first attack.

Fighter 2 moves in to attack Lucy, hitting with a 29!. But even though that might be a critical hit, Lucy's Impervious toughness soaks it up. Fighter 10 attacks her as well, also hitting with a 28, but again no effect thanks to her Impervious. So Harry is up, and he has reached the stairway up and is being chased by Fighter 11!

Dee's eyes narrowed slightly as the real Osprey referred to her "some rich girl," but said nothing of it. It was not like she did anything to hide having grown up in an aristocratic family and having an expensive education (even if she managed to get herself kicked out of most of the schools her parents had shipped her off to). She was more concerned about how he casually mentioned that he was "with" Big Nelson, which seemed a bit at odds with what she had picked out of the criminal's mind. Maintaining her control over Nelson as the Ministry agents secured him and his men, she regarded both Osprey and Jasmine. "We were actually looking for you." The young woman commented. "Though would be interested to hear why you were in the company of these petty thugs though." She then added. "But our French Canadian, but American educated, friend is right, we should probably discuss things more in private. Although we should wait for Young Britannia, assuming she is alright." Dee added, looking back up to the sky for any sign of the patriotic heroine.

Giang had tried to dive aside as the flames had spread through the chamber, but been unable to avoid the fiery blaze. Luckily the layer of water that swirled around her helped brunt the flames, and she ended up only a bit singed. Focusing back the scene around them, she noted the effect the flames had had on the other serpents, several of whom badly burned. Clearly the Serpent Queen did not place too high a value on her servants' lives. The Asian teen picked one of the remaining serpents that seemed least harmed and brought her hands up to send a blast of water at the creature. But the twisting coils of water flew well wide of the intended target, striking the wall behind it and blasting lose bits of rock.

Velocity Velocity gave an understanding nod to Lady Liberty's comments about stepping back from her duties with the League. "No one is going to begrudge you wanting to focus some on your family Beth. Robert and I certainly appreciated having the chance to some 'time' in the Null Zone with Lawrence before bringing him back with us and stepping back into our lives." "The rest of us with miss seeing you as much, but we will take care of things." The yellow clad speedster then added with a grin. "We should probably get back out there to continue mingling and helping greet any new arrivals." She continued. "Besides, I want to try to steer some people to the dance floor! Don't want that to go unused!" Over Freedom Hall's PA system, Walking in a Winter Wonderland, sung by Aretha Franklin, began to play.

Velocity half tried to focus past Robert's babbling, was it only served to make her more nervous. Now that she was thinking about it, even if the child was put back in the artificial womb, she was going to be a mother…well, sort of. She was not sure what to think of all of this, biologically, the child was her and Robert's. But at the moment, she had other things to focus on, like possibly staying alive with whatever was going on here. The wave a nausea did not help matters as the speedster sat back up and the lights flickered once more. "Oh I hope this passes." She said, mainly to herself as she got back to her feet. Looking over at the time agents, she then tried to get serious once more. "Okay, I need to get out there and see what I can do. Is there somewhere safe you two can take Robert?"

Dee gave a small nod as Rost mentioned that neither she or any of the other Ministry scientists wanting to fix the small quirks of the robot, although Dee also had a faint desire to open the robot up and try to fix the problems. When they reached the entrance to the channel tunnel, Dee and Rost were able to slip through the police line with a wave of their Ministry credentials and were soon on the way down into the tunnel towards the site of the incident. It was pretty obvious when they reached the scene. "Well, let's have a look shall we?" Dee stated out loud as she shined her flashlight around the scene and began a careful examination of the site of the explosion. The young woman made mental notes of what she uncovered as she went, putting the pieces together in her mind as she did so. After a few minutes, she stopped and looked over at Rost. "It looks as if the explosion originated on the other side of your bridge and what we got was a bit of a spillover and not the full effect." Dee began as she began to point out the bits of metal shards from the explosive and how it was spread out. "I guess the question is whether this was accidental, or whether someone is purposely trying to get the explosives through to our side, or at least their effect."

Giang gave Thaelia a small smile as the Atlantean teen appeared to give the Legion duplicate another hit. "I am glad to see you as well Glamazon." The Asian teen replied. "These duplicates are indeed troublesome. It looks as if you have things in hand with this one, I am going to go see about assisting Crimson Tiger." With that, Giang started back towards the railing along the balcony, easily vaulting over into the open space beyond. The Asian teen flipped over once, landing nimbly on the tiled floor below. Glancing up, she saw Mali still in intense combat with two of the Legion duplicates. Focusing a moment on trying to make a precise attack with her water blasts that would not strike her friend, Giang took a step forward and sent a blast of water flying at the Legion that had just hit Crimson Tiger. But the Asian teen’s aim was a bit off, and the twisting coils of water streaked past the Legion and slammed into a column that was helping support the floor above, chunks of plaster and concrete flying in all directions from the force of the blast.

Okay, Tsunami is moving over and jumping down to where Crimson is, easily making an acrobatics check to avoid damage. She will use a Hero Point to buy off her fatigue and stunt a new power, which is her normal blast, but with the 2 ranks of Knockback being replaced by 2 ranks of Precise (allowing her to shoot into melee with no penalty). She blasts at Legion 1b, but misses with a 13.

GM The Legion that had weathered another of Crimson's attacks righted herself once more as she gave a small smile. But despite the smile, a part of her seemed distracted, her eyes glancing up towards the level above. "Well, this has been fun and all, but we think it is time for you to go down and us to get a moving." With that, she moved forward once more, her staff whipping out in front of her and forcing Crimson to take a step backward. That was directly into the path of the second Legion, who's staff came down across Crimson's back. The martial artist was able to roll slightly with the hit, reducing the damage, but she still felt a sting of pain across her back.

(Okay, don’t have my normal flash drive that has the word doc I use for keeping track of things but we are starting Round Ten and I’ll be posting the updated initiative when I can). Legion 1a will use Aid Other again (-4 atk/+4 def), succeeding on the aid check. Legion 1b will Power Attack once more (-3 atk/+3 dam), hitting with a 32! (just missed a critical attack there). DC 22 toughness save for Crimson.

Dee was half listening as Rost explained her theory based on the preliminary readings, focusing some of her mental energy on examining the robotic driver. That was partly to satisfy herself that it was indeed safe, but also just curiosity at the design and effectiveness. The young woman could follow Rost well enough, though much of what she was talking about was a bit beyond things Dee normally dealt with (something she would have to change she figured now that she had committed herself to this whole superhero thing). "A bridge-the data certainly seems to support that theory. Only question is, is something making the bridge to come over here? Or for someone here to go to wherever the other end is?" "Quite an interesting design for your butler by the way." Dee added. "I think some of the wires down in the processing core are not insulated enough, which is causing the feedback with some of the other systems. Does not seem like much of a hazard at the moment, but likely something that you should look at."
