Okay, don’t really feel like a post for Tsunami just running back to where the three first spotted the Legion fighting the security guards. So Crimson Tiger’s turn (you can have her spot Tsunami arrive on the level above Thunder). (as noted in chat, all three super teens got a Hero Point the round before when it was reveled that the Legions were just decoys. So Glamazon (by GM fiat) got a reroll on her failed toughness save, but ended up with another bruise and dazed (and got the Hero Point right back for the fiat)).

Tsunami totally blows her Reflex save with a 10. And she only gets a 19 on her toughness save, so she gets a bruise.

Well, Mind Controlling them to put down their weapons is just what Synapse was going to try first if they hesitated in doing so (or mind controlling Big Nelson and having him order them to put them down).

GM "Ohh, congratulations, you finally put one of us down." One of the other Legions facing Crimson Tiger replied. "But you still have two of us to deal with." She then added as she swung her staff upward, managing to just glance off the left side of Crimson's torso. The other Legion circled around the heroine slightly, spinning her staff as she went. Then suddenly she whipped the staff out to deliver a strong hit across Crimson's upper back. A solid *WHACK* echoed in the mall from the hit, but the heroine remained upright as she faced off with the two copies of the villainess.

Legion 1b also attacks Crimson, also hitting with a 29, so another DC 19 toughness save.

GM The Legion that Crimson Tiger had been fighting finally went down, knocked back where she slumped unconscious. The unconscious supervillainess lay where she fell for a few moments before she disappeared as if she had never even been there. The Legion staggered slightly from Thaelia's glancing blow but stayed on her feet as she righted herself once more. "Ow. That did hurt." She stated. "But hardly the boneshattering beating you promised." She spun her staff around once as her gaze hardened slightly. "Now let's see if you can really take hits all day." Her staff whipped around and connected with the side of Thaelia's head. The blow brought black spots before the Atlantean teen's eyes and before she knew it, she was lying on the ground a short distance away. "I'd love to stay and see if you want to keep going, but I need to get going." The villainess then stated as she spun her staff to tuck it under one arm and started off at a run back in the direction Thaelia had come from.

Ouch, well, there was a fountain back on the ground floor where the first Legion appeared.

Legion 2 will attack in response, using power attack (-2 atk/+2 dam), hitting with a 27, so DC 21 toughness save.

That is just enough to hit Legion 2, she gets a 23 on her toughness save, which means she is bruised.

Well, what about Big Nelson and his crew? Are they putting down their weapons as Synapse asked them to? Otherwise she is going to have to make them.

Okay, Ulysses is up. Both he and Miss Grue can see Tsunami approaching on her water spout.

GM Miss Grue's supersized hands clapped around the red glowing young woman just above her. But despite the power of the blow, the young woman who appeared to be of Asian descent, with noticeable freckles on her face, weathered the attack with seemingly little effect. The green glowing girl that was still holding hands with the one Miss Grue attacked appeared to be her identical twin, save for having longer hair than the other, turned to look down at the massive red figure. "Keep your hands off my sister!" She cried out as she lifted her free hand and the glowing yellow energy shot fort as she tried to push the Grue's arms back down and envelop her upper torso in yellow glowing binding to trap her arms. Crimson meanwhile maneuvered a bit away from the oversized hands, still keeping ahold of her sister’s hand as she glanced over towards the river a moment. "Looks like we have another one coming." She commented, before focusing back on Miss Grue. "But let's deal with this one first. I love your color, but am afraid I cannot let you stop us!" With that she raised her free hand and a blast of red energy shot forth to slam into Miss Grue just on her right shoulder. Down on the ground, the other woman with short black hair and dusky skin looked over towards Ulysses as a frown came to her face. Now that he was closer, Ulysses found it difficult to judge her actual age. She certainly seemed young, but whether she was in her twenties or early-thirties, he could not discern. "Vandalize?" She said in response to the steam powered hero’s comments. "PanStar is one of the worst in terms of scourging our plant of its natural resources and poisoning the environment in the process. This plant is a blight on the natural beauty of this region, sending its toxins into the very land around us!" To emphasize her point, the woman gestured at the ground around her, as chunks of pavement and rock lifted up into the air. She then thrust her hands at Ulysses and the bits of debris shot forward at the hero. But her aim was off, and the barrage of debris flew past Ulysses to cave in the side of a truck behind him.

Clover is going to try to use her Create Object to try and bind Miss Grue’s arms to her sides, so DC 20 Reflex save for Miss Grue to avoid that. Clover will then blast at Miss Grue, hitting with a 25, so Miss Grue has a DC 27 toughness save as well. Tundra meanwhile is going to send a blast of bits of rock and pavement at Ulysses, but will miss with an 11.

Okay, Legion 1 gets a 16 this time, which makes her staggered and dazed. (edited: Actually, I'm tired of Legion 1 clinging in like this, she is meant to be disposable, so she is OUT!!!)

Giang's head broke the surface of the water as she drew close to shore and looked over towards the manufacturing plant. The Asian teen’s eyes opened slightly at the sight of two glowing hovering figures and a towering young woman with red skin. Is that a Grue? Giang asked herself, recalling her one encounter with a Grue back on the Day of Wrath ten months ago. Deciding not to jump to any conclusions just yet, the Asian teen felt she needed to get another vantage point. Grabbing ahold of the water around her, Giang created a water spout that she could stand on that carried her up into the air and over towards the plant. A shimmering sheen of water coated the Asian teen as the water spout carried her up into the air. Soon, she had a view of what was going on down on the ground near the plant as well, seeing two additional figures, but she was still not entirely sure what was going on.

Okay, Tsunami arrives and gets an 18 for initiative. Round Two 18 Tsunami (unharmed, 2 HP) 11 Clover (unharmed) 9 Crimson (unharmed) 9 Tundra (unharmed) 8 Ulysses (unharmed, 1HP) 7 Miss Grue (unharmed, 2 HP) Tsunami will stunt an alt power off of her Swimming: Flight 4 (Flaw: Platform), and she will be fatigued at the end of the round. She will move over towards the scene and just observe to try to figure out what is going on.

Crimson does not do so hot on her first toughness save, only getting a 15. So Hero Point to Miss Grue for a reroll, and she gets a, 28.

Giang was feeling a bit worried about her friends, so she decided to finish things with these last two Legions. Taking a couple of strides forward, her left hand whipped out to one side to send a blast of water at one of the recovering Legions, her right whipping out to the other as another blast flew through the air at the second. Both jets of water hit true, knocking both copies of the costumed supervillain flat where they lay still for a moment before vanishing from view. Satisfied that she had dealt with all the Legions here, the Asian teen turned and began to run back the way she had come to check on her friends.

Tsunami continues to use her stunted AOE, intent on putting these Legions down. She makes a normal attack roll, hitting both with a 29, DC 23 toughness save this time. The last two Legions facing her get a 7 and 13 on their toughness saves, bad enough to put both of them out.

GM The Legion that Crimson Tiger had been beating on took another hit, but this time with little more than a grunt of pain. She was certainly starting to show some bruises and the like, but climbed back to her feet as she grinned slightly at what the security guard had called out. "Well, guess the gig is up. But you’re still not done with us." One of the other Legions came rushing back over to Crimson, swinging her staff in a wide arc to make the heroine duck. When Crimson did so, the one that taken so many of her hits spun around, sweeping her staff into an upward strike designed to try to catch the heroine under the chin. But Crimson was too quick, just managing to pull her head back and avoid the attack as the staff whistled past her. The third Legion also closed, coming at Crimson from the other side, swinging her staff at the heroine's midsection. But a quick kick with one foot stopped the staff and knocked it away.
