Giang landed lightly on her feet, adjusting her stance as she took in the position of the other two Legions that were spaced out around her. She then focused back on the Legion that had just attacked her. "Your numbers are not as much an advantage as you believe." She said before taking a step forward with her right foot. As the foot touched down, she pushed off with her other and turned on the spot, her arms swinging out to either side, her palms facing outward as she went. Her head snapped around in the turn, focusing on each of the Legion's as she spun, a quick blast of water shooting out of one of her hands for each of the three targets. All three blasts found their marks as Giang finished her turn in a low back stance, her right hand out in front of her while her left was extended behind her. The Legion that had just attacked the Asian teen was knocked off her feet and flung a good twenty feet away, skidding slightly on the marble floors of the balcony. She was clearly hurt by the blast, and appeared quite dazed as she tried to push herself up. The newest Legion to arrive was also blasted off her feet, flying back to strike a column a short ways away before crumpling to a wet heap at its base. She was also injured and dazed, fumbling slightly with her staff as she tried to get her bearings. The first Legion that Giang had pursued was hit the hardest. Knocked off her feet as well, she flew further back into the store to slam into one of the counter she had been standing on earlier. She slumped on the ground, apparently unconscious, before she faded away as if she had never been there.

Okay, Tsunami is stunting an AOE attack: Blast 8 (Extra: Targeted Burst Area (40' radius), Selective; Flaw: 0 Range; Feats: Accurate 3, Progression (area x2)) {28/28} She will Power Attack (-3 atk/+3 dam) and unleash the torrent on the three Legions around her. She gets a 12, so she will use a hero point to reroll, getting a 19, adjusted to 29 which hits the three. The three Legions get 9, 21 and 18, respectively (vs DC 26). So, Legion 3 is knocked out, and Legion 3a and 3b are both bruised and dazed (with Legion 3a now having 2 bruises). Tsunami is now fatigued. Crimson is up!

GM The second Legion that Crimson Tiger had been fighting rushed towards the red clad heroine, seemingly about to attack once more with her staff. But as she closed with Crimson, the costumed villainess planted one end of the staff on the ground, using it as a leverage to vault herself up into the air so that she flipped over the heroine and landed nimbly on the opposite side. But Crimson Tiger was far to experienced to fall for the clear attempt to catch her off guard so the newly arrived Legion could try an capitalize on the misdirection. "So let's see how you handle these odds shall we?" The Legion that had just withstood one of Tsunami's water blasts shouted as she closed back with the Asian teen, whipping her staff around once more, aiming at the teen's legs. But Tsunami was easily able to dive to one side and cartwheel away from the attack, coming back up to her feet and considering the other two Legions that were preparing to close in from other sides. The Legion that Crimson Tiger had knocked into fountain pushed herself upright, trying to get her bearings back. She was clearly showing the signs of the martial artist's two attacks, but did not yet seem out of the fight. "Well, that was worth a try." Said the latest Legion to arrive on the scene, as she moved forward to attack Crimson, despite failed attempt to catch the heroine off guard. But as the young costumed criminal whipped her staff around, the attempted bluff proved unnecessary, as the end of staff caught Crimson Tiger on her left side with a audible *WHACK*. Crimson felt a jolt of pain from the impact, but otherwise remained on her feet.

Legion 3a is going to close back with Tsunami and attacks, but misses with a 16. Legion 1b will close with Crimson to attack anyway, hitting with a 24, so a DC 19 toughness save for Crimson.

"Understandable Mr. Cimitiere." Sergio replied in his rasping voice. "Anything you might be able to do to try to save as many members of the family as might be possible is gratefully appreciated." The elder D'Ascenzo then glanced over at a clock hanging on the wall before he continued. "But for the moment, dinner time has arrived. I fully expect my cook Rosa to have put together something truly spectacular for tonight's meal. It is very rare for me to be entertaining so many guests these days." Once again Jonathan helped with Sergio's wheelchair, as the pair led Nick back to the elevator that took them down to the main floor once more. From there it was a short walk to the main dining room, located a bit further into the house than the sitting room where Nick had initially been introduced to the rest of the family. The dining room, like much of the rest of the house, was ornate, and representative of a different era. The long fine wood dining table that sat in the center of the room seemed a bit sparse with only fifteen dinner settings laid out on the elegant tablecloth. The other members of the family, along with Carmen, were already gathered in the room, many standing along the sides of the room in conversation, some of the women already seated at the table. When Sergio entered, the conversations quieted down and everyone moved to take their places. Nick was given the seat just to Sergio's left, Jonathan sitting directly across from him. Paul was seated no Nick's left. Carmen was a bit further down the table, seated between Jessica and the younger Martin. Vince was across from her. Although the room, and everything in it, was clean and well cared for, Nick and Carmen could not help but get a cold, misused feeling from the room. The feeling was offset ever so slightly at the arrival of several members of Sergio's staff, bringing in bowls of minestrone or zuppa toscana soup for those seated at the table, as well as various bread and rolls. Several bottles of very old looking wine were set out around the table as well.

As the tension alleviated some between Cho and Thaelia, Giang allowed the wall she had put up to revert back to its normal water state. The sheet of water then split apart, the two halves taking the long thin shape of Chinese dragons at it twisted through the air around the Asian teen, hovering just behind her just in case she still had need of it. Once it was clear that both of the other teens had allowed their tempers to cool, the water dragons glided back through the air, returning to where Giang had drawn the water from. "So, shall we continue on to the dorms so you may drop off your things before we continue with the tour?"

"It is an honor to meet you Mr. and Mrs. Cline." Giang replied to Paige, her tone becoming more formal as she bowed to them. "And it is nice to meet you as well Holly." She added, although the young girl was quickly distracted by Elias' rather impressive appearance. The Asian teen turned back to Will to answer some of his questions. "There is no schedule for this section of the garden, all students have equal access to the space and are just asked to provide consideration for those that were here first. There is usually enough room to accommodate all that might wish to use it at once." Giang then smiled slightly at Will's question about whether there was "fun stuff" to do on campus, strongly suspecting he might have a very different definition of that than she did, although hers had adapted some over the last year thanks to several of her friends, Mali included. "There is a good amount of opportunity for relaxation here, and the school has a variety of facilities for the students to use. There are common rooms in the dorms and there are regular movie nights and video game competitions that take place. And enough of the older students have cars that it is usually not too difficult for people to arrange for some things off campus."

GM Inside the outdoor clothing store, the Legion that had originally run into the store to rob it twisted and struggled as she sought to free herself from the tangle of clothing she had been blasted back through. She coughed a number of times as she finally managed to free herself and climb back up to her feet, soaking wet now having been blasted by Tsunami twice already. She certainly was feeling that second blast. "Okay, no more miss nice girl." She stated as she readied her staff once more before glancing down at some of the clothes in the pile at her feet. "Though, that is a really nice coat I’ll have to try to remember to grab one on my way out." The Legion facing off with Glamazon grinned slightly as she once again managed to dance away from the Atlantean's powerful fists. "Okay dear, if you're sure you want to do this…" She replied to Glamazon’s challenge as she rushed back forward, swinging her staff upward as if going for a chin strike only to quickly sweep it out to one side and deliver a powerful strike to the teen’s left side. Although Legion focused on putting a bit more force behind the attack, Glamazon took the hit with only the slightest indication that it had even taken place. As Legion whipped her staff back to spin it in front of her, there was the slightest hint of hesitancy on her face. Down on the lower level, Crimson Tiger had delivered a powerful blow to the Legion that had been attacking the security guards earlier. The young woman had been knocked off her feet and sent flying over into a fountain. The second Legion that had appeared was still up, facing Crimson Tiger as she appeared to be considering her next mover when the Thai heroine heard a now familiar voice call out from her side and turned to see another Legion vault into view. "You certainly are persistent, I’ll give you that. But you gotta know you can't win here." The latest arrival stated as she spun her staff a few times as she entered a ready stance. Up in front of the sports store, Tsunami was still facing off with the Legion who had taken one of her water blasts as she saw the other one free herself from the pile of clothes and prepare to reenter the fight. But then, the Asian teen heard another Legion call out to her from the side. "You know, I am getting a bit sick of you and your water blasts. So I think it is about time to end this." The third Legion stated as she emerged from the gawking crowd off to Tsunami’s left.

Okay, Legion 3 is digging herself out of the pile of clothes she ended up in, so can do nothing else this round. Legion 2 will attack Glam again, this time power attacking (-2 atk/+2 dam), hitting with a 26, so DC 21 toughness save for Glamazon.

Giang took a couple of steps backward after blocking aside the other Legion's attack. The first one was still buried under a pile of clothes, so was not much of a viable target at the moment. "I do no suppose you would be willing to tell me what you and the apparent copies of yourself are actually up to here." The Asian teen asked the opponent spinning the staff in front of her. Not really waiting for an answer, Giang thrust both hands forward to send a jet of water blasting at the Legion that had just attacked her. The blast hit the young woman squarely, causing her to stagger backward slight from the force of the impact as a slight grunt of pain escaped her lips, although she otherwise remained on her feet and ready to counterattack.

Hehe, well, you can cover Crimson resisting the hit in your next post, which is coming up very soon… Tsunami blasts at Legion 3a, hitting with a 23. Legion 3a gets a 22 on her toughness roll, so picks up a bruise. Crimson is up.

GM "So, willing to attack someone while their down are you?" The second Legion that had arrived at the scene called out to Crimson. "Your water using friend was will to shoot one of me in the back as well, and here I thought heroes were honourable or something." She then rushed over towards where the crimson clad heroine was fighting the Legion still down on the ground. Her staff whipped around and she swung it in a wide arc, hoping to force Crimson to move where she and her other self wanted the heroine to go. The false attack did what it was intended, causing Crimson to take a step backward as she dodged the swing. The attacking Legion landed lightly on her feet, spinning her staff back into a defensive position. Back in front of the sports store, the second Legion to arrive on the scene glanced into the store where her other self had just been blasted before focusing back on Tsunami. Lunging forward, she jabbed at the water using teen with her staff, but Giang was easily able to block the attack aside. Back down on the lower level, the first Legion had recovered from Crimson Tiger's first attack and managed to take the second attack with little effect. Her feet kicked up quickly into the air a she whipped them back downward, pushing off the hard floor with her back and agilely kipped back up to her feet, her staff spinning round once as she brought it around in a downward diagonal sweep that caught Crimson Tiger on the upper left shoulder as she had moved away from the other Legion's false attack.

Legion 1a moves over to help against Crimson, using def atk (-3 atk/+3 def) and using Aid Other to try to set up for Legion 1 to attack Crimson, and succeeds the check with a 20. Meanwhile, Legion 3 will attack Tsunami, but misses with a 16. Legion 1 kips up to her feet easily and then makes use of the Aid Other from Legion 1a, shifting defensively as well (-3 atk/+3 def) and attacking, hitting with a 27, so a DC 19 toughness save for Crimson Tiger.

GM "I am glad you approve." The Legion facing Thaelia replied with a grin. "Now let's see just how tough you are." She then added as she spun her staff around once in one hand before grasping it with two hands once more. Shifting her stance slightly, Legion prepared herself for any possible counter attack, but she also focused on putting a bit more force behind her attack, sacrificing a bit of accuracy in the process. But in focusing on trying to deliver a more powerful attack, Legion failed to be able to connect with her attack, as Thaelia managed to sidestep the swing. Legion recovered quickly, taking a couple of steps back as her staff spun around once more and came back up in front of her.

Legion 3 is dazed, so lays in the heap of clothes. Legion 2 will use Def Atk (-2 atk/+2 def) and Power Atk (-2 atk/+2 dam) and attack Glamazon, but misses with a 12.

She makes the toughness save with a 24.

Ex, trying to use Intimidate to get them to do what you want (ie stand down) is a full round action, so you cannot move to stand in front of the downed guards and try that this round. Or you can try to demoralize them as a standard action.
