GM The hovering woman with the green in her costume turned back to focus on the scene in the plant's yard down below her. With the two men in red uniforms appearing to be unconscious, she focused her attention on a small truck parked near the plant. Holding up her free hand, she created a large glowing yellow sphere of energy which she then allowed to drop down onto the vehicle. The impact crushed the top of the truck in and as the fuel tank ruptured, there was a loud explosion before more black smoke began to rise into the air. The other flying woman keeps her attention focused on the rapidly approaching figure from the west. Her free hand comes up as she sends a bolt of red energy at the fleet figure. But her aim was well off, as the blast flew over Ulysses head, impacting into the ground a few dozen yards behind him with a loud explosions as bits of cement and dirt are flow up from the crater created by the blast. The third figure on the ground in the yard turns back to regard the large hole in the side of the plant. She raises her arms to either side of her as large chucks of pavement are torn up on either side of her, hovering in the air for a moment before she throws her arms forward and the chunks of pavement a flung forward, passing through the hole in the side of the building, impacting somewhere beyond with several loud crashes and the sounds of twisting metal.

Crimson fires an energy blast at Ulysses, but misses badly as she only gets a 9 My IC post will cover actions for all three figures near the plant, so...Ulysses is up!

Giang smiled slightly at the sudden rush of questions from the younger teen. "The cafeteria is over there." She said, gesturing back towards the north corner of the main quad. "However, the cafeteria is closed on weekends and in the evening during weekdays. The cafeteria in the staff quarters is open however for boarding students on the weekends and for dinner. We can stop by there after dropping your things off at the dorms. Or, if you like, you are allowed to order take out to be delivered to the front gate on weekends as well." "As for classes, beyond what one would normally expect in a high school curriculum, there are classes on the history of superhumans, ones to help people with coping with their powers, self defense and tactics courses, and a wide range of other elective courses that students can choose from. There is no requirement that students engage in crime fighting, though there is certainly plenty of courses, facilities and other resources to assist those that are interested in doing so. The school provides a basic training uniform for all students, a number of students use that as a costume until they come up with one of their own. That is what I did until a few months ago." "The faculty will work with you in getting the help you need, very likely as early as tomorrow." The Asian teen continued. "And the Lost World is an alternate world that is accessible from a number of portals on our world. That world still very much resembles Earth in its earlier stages of development, with vast jungles filled with dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures. A number of human tribes live in the world, lead by Lord Zandar and there are two cities that are the remnants of ancient civilizations from our world. One founded by a lost Roman legion and Roman colonists, the other by Incans." Giang led the pair through an archway and out of the quad. As they went, she indicated the part of the main building they were passing through, mentioning that it was the school's library. Just beyond the library was the large open space of the gardens, the trio taking a path to the right, further towards the center of campus. Giang indicated two buildings that were to their right, noting the smaller as the school chapel and the larger as the auditorium. "There are two dorm buildings, one for male students, the other for the female." She began in answer to some of Georgia's questions. "" personally find the dorms more than adequate, but I may not be the best reference on the issue. The rooms are set up with two students to a room, two rooms sharing a bathroom between them." "And most of the facilities here are rather sturdy, for there are more than a few students with abilities that can be quite damaging."

Velocity gave a small shrug and a smile at Maxima's comments at calling herself a rookie. "Well, everyone has to begin at some point. And I can understand taking ones time in getting into things. My first couple of years were mainly minor stuff, stopping small robberies, helping people out, and the like. I was not regularly fighting supervillains until just before my Senior year." The speedster took an unnecessary look around the room at Crusader's comment. Her goggles were constantly feeding her images of everything going on around her, an influx of visual information that would make most people dizzy. But she was very aware of those sorts of visual cues when interacting with people, even while in costume. She then focused back on Crusader as she replied, "well, there is certainly something to be said about those who continue legacies as you are. Certainly helps with giving you a more defined direction and purpose I would think. I know there was a period of time after I first developed my powers that I was not sure I should even try to use them to fight crime." As the current song playing came to an end, a somewhat more recent song came on as Christmas Wrapping by the Waitresses began to play.

Revenant's punch sent the thug in the cheap suit flying backward into the wall, where he crumpled into a heap on the floor. The others in the room were still surprised by Revenant's sudden "appearance." Back in the waiting room, one of the fighters gathered around the door took a swing at Bloody Mess, but the cagy fighter easily was able to duck under the attack. Elsewhere in the room, two of the fighters and one of the thugs stepped out into the hallway, taking in the scene there and noting the hole in the wall created by Revenant. "Go check what's going on in there." The man in the cheap suit told the two fighters with him. One of the two ran over to open the door, revealing Revenant who was standing just a short distance away on the other side having just knocked out the man she had shared a cigar with earlier. The other fighter ran through the open door, delivering a sidekick to the undead lawyer. But as accurate as his attack was, she barely even registered it as his foot was halted by her stomach as if she were a solid wall.

So, Thug 8 goes down. Fighter 8 does a -1atk/+1 dam shift as he attacks Mess, but misses with a 12. Fighter 2, Fighter 10 and Thug 6 move into the hall from the other exit from the waiting room. Fighter 2 opens the door to the room Lucy is now in and Fighter 10 rushes in and attacks her. He hits with a 25, but of course her impervious toughness allows her to ignore that unshifted attack. Hound is up! (and now alone in the hallway with two supervillains!)

Okay, Tsunami uses her saved action for a all-out move down towards where she saw the figure disappear. Glamazon is up!

Giang frowned slightly as Mali set off in a sprint, heading in a different direction than either of the two figures that were up on their level and currently out of view. She was not sure what Mali was up to or which of the three possibilities she intended to pursue, although she suspected that at the moment, Mali might be more focused on finding a way to change into costume as the Thai teen was much more careful about her secret identity, for very good reasons. And of course, Giang had not made any suggestions on how they should possibly split up, so she could hardly blame Mali for acting on instinct. Glancing over to Thaelia, who was far less concerned with such considerations, Giang stated, "I am going after the one I spotted down this way." With that, the Asian teen turned and started sprinting down towards the store she had seen the figure disappear into.

Giang is holding her actions to see what the others think. Mali is up!

Giang had watched the scene below and could feel the somewhat familiar sensation of wanting to intervene, something she was certain her two friends were feeling, and likely even stronger than she was. But the Asian teen paused a moment as she spotted first one, and then another figure dressed similarly to the woman on the floor below. As the woman attacked another security guard, knocking this one down to the ground, the teenager looked back to her two friends. It was clear the woman below was dangerous, but the other two figures she had spotted could not be ignored, as it was possible that the first was just a diversion. "There is more than one of them." She stated to Mali and Thaelia, gesturing quickly towards where the other two had been. "Should we split up?"

Yes, the attack on the second security guard was her starting action for the round.

GM With the scene unfolding below them, Thaelia was paying heed to little else, her gaze fixed on the agile costumed young woman. Mali also was regarding the apparent threat, but was not ignoring the rest of her surroundings. As the scene was unfolding on the floor below, Mali caught of glimpse of some sudden movement up on their level further down in the direction they had been heading before the commotion below had stopped them. Turning quickly that way, the teenager spotted a figure that appeared to be dressed identically to the woman on the floor below. The figure had run through part of the crowd, and Mali thought she caught sight of long brown hair trailing behind before it disappeared from view. People that had been busy moving towards their next destination had stopped, appearing confused by the figure's passage. Next to Mali, Giang had also caught sight of the second figure. But even as she had turned to look that way, she had spotted something reflected in the glass of a shop to their left, causing her to turn and look back behind them. Further back in the direction of the last shop they had been in, Giang saw a third figure wearing a similar costume to the first two run into a store. There were a few muffled shouts of surprise and a number of people that began running away from the store. Down on the lower floor, the first woman was watching the security guard she had just disarmed as a second had begun moving up behind her as carefully as he could. But apparently not carefully enough… The woman suddenly dropped own into a crouch a she spun around, quickly covering the short distance between her and the man. Her staff whipped out away from her as she closed, sweeping the security guard's feet out from under him and sending him crashing down to the hard tile floor with a heavy *THUD*. The woman then leapt back up, spinning in the air to land on her feet once more, her stance defensive but her staff out in front of her with both hands gripping it as she watched for the first security guard to make some move.

Giang seemed to weather Cho's overly enthusiastic handshake well enough, though she did flex her hand a couple of times when it was finally released. "A tour of the facilities is indeed part of the agenda. But first let us make our way to the dorm rooms so you both may drop of your things. Although neither of you appear to have much trouble carrying them." The Asian teen replied. "This way please." She started to lead them towards one of the gates leading out of the quad as Cho asked her question. "The school does have resources to assist individuals in learning to control their abilities. It is not at all uncommon for students to need such help when their abilities first manifest."

GM It turned out that the second shop did have a dress Giang liked. It was a black full length dress with a closed back and long sleeves that were made of semi-transparent material. The teen had tried the dress on, and the tailor at the shop had marked it for some minor alterations, so she did not have it when they left, though she did have a bag with some shoes she had found to go with the dress. The three teenagers were making their way along one of the upper floors of the mall, heading towards a set of escalators down so they could try to look for some place they might want to eat. They were little ways from the top of the escalator, walking along the balcony railing overlooking the floor below when they heard some commotion below and someone yell out, "you there, halt!" Glancing down to the floor below, the three saw people scattering in all directions, an open space quickly forming as they moved out of the way. They could make out a mall security guard, looking at someone, or something, underneath the balcony they were on. The guard was reaching for a stun gun he wore on his belt. Just then a figure flipped over the security guard, landing lightly behind him. It was a young woman long brown hair and dressed in a black and pink costume, with pink mask and glove, who right hand whipped out to the side as the collapsible staff in her hand snapped open. The far end of the staff knocked the stun gun out of the security guards hand as he had turned around to follow the woman's movements. The non-lethal weapon went spinning away to clatter on the floor and disappear among the legs of the bystanders running for cover. "None of that now." The woman said in a teasing tone as she expertly spun the staff around and brought one end up underneath her armpit as she waited for the guard's next move. "How about you do yourself a favour and just turn around and leave?"

Giang followed along with the other two girls as they made their way to the register to purchase their selections. "I do not believe the shops I usually buy from will have appropriate dresses." She replied with a small smile. "But there are a number of other options in the mall. I am bound to find something I like, hopefully it will not take too much time." Once Thaelia and Mali were done, Giang followed along with her friends as they moved back into the crowded flow of traffic that filled much of the corridors between the shops. They only had a short distance to go before finding another store that looked like it might have something for the Asian teen. "This looks as if it might be promising." Giang commented as she looked at a pair of dresses in the window display before leading the other two girls in.

GM As Ulysses drew near the fence surrounding the plant, he saw a corporate logo along a section of the fence which was a large yellow star with the company name, PanStar, written across the middle of the star. The steam powered hero could hear shouts coming from the other side of the fence, though whether they were of panic or something else he could not tell. There was also a couple of unusual sounds that he could not quite make out. But perhaps the thing that most quickly attracted his attention were two glowing figures hovering about twenty feet in the air near the plant. Ulysses was close enough to make out that they were both female, with black hair and wearing what looked like gold colored costumes, one with a section of green on the left side of her costume, the other red on the right. A faint green glow surrounded them both. The one with the red in her costume sent a blast of red energy down towards the ground impacting somewhere behind the fence that Ulysses could not see, though he thought he heard the sound of brick being blow apart. The young woman with the green aimed one hand towards the ground, sending what looked like wide, glowing yellow wall of energy down towards the ground, also disappearing out of Ulysses' line of sight. The young woman that fired the red blast of energy then turned her head in the direction Ulysses was coming from and a moment later her companion did as well. Up in the air, Miss Grue had a bit better view of what was going on down beside the plant. In the yard next to the building, a number of people wearing yellow hard hats were running in apparent panic. There was a large hole in the side of the building, from which came the black smoke that was rising up into the air. The young Grue could see the two glowing female figures hovering in the air, and could also see that they appeared to be holding hands. Down in the middle of the yard in front of the hole in the building was a third figure, also female, wearing a red costume with some gold highlights. She had short black hair and there was something odd about her that Miss Grue could not quite make out from this distance. Two men dressed in some sort of red uniform were down on the ground as well, aiming what looked like pistols at the woman standing on the ground. Both weapons fired a beam of energy, one missing the target the other hitting, but appearing to have little or no effect. One of the hovering young women sent a blast of red energy down towards the side of the plant, blasting away a bit more of the wall. The other sent a wide section of yellow glowing energy down at the two men in the red uniforms. The "wall" of yellow energy struck both men, knocking them off their feet and pushing them several dozen yards away. The woman standing on the ground raised her arms upward, as sections of concrete around her ripped up from the ground, hovering in the air a few feet up for a moment before they went hurtling across the yard to smash into the side of a truck parked to one side, crushing the vehicle and flipping it over on its side. Miss Grue saw first one, then the other of the two hovering women look off to the west, where the young heroine spotted a figure running along the ground at incredible speeds towards the fence surrounding facility.

Okay Quinn, Crow is up.

"I am fine." Raven replied as she took the rebreather out of her mouth and slipped it back into one of the pouches on her utility belt. She glanced down at the area Crow indicated for a brief moment before looking back towards the entrance to the building that Blue Jay had used. "Warden will be wondering where I am, knowing that someone other than Blue Jay is here, if we all go down into the sewers, the greater the chance he will realize where we are." She stated. "Besides, no one should be in Warden's territory without back up. That is what happened to the others, they each entered into different parts of the building thinking they would be rescuing people, and thus were isolated and easier to subdue." Taking a grappling gun from her belt, she glanced back at Crow and Blodeuwedd. "You two take the sewer rout, I will back up Blue Jay." With that, she jumped off the rooftop, the grappling gun firing to attach to a nearby building as she swung down to the entrance to the building. She landed lightly in front of the entrance, her sudden appearance startling the firefighters who were still gathered around there. A moment later she had disappeared into the building.

"And it would appear that she has arrived." Giang said in a matter-of-fact tone as she saw Cho enter the quad. The Asian teen turned towards the newcomer, giving her a small bow as well. "Good afternoon, you are Cho Lee are you not? I am Giang Trang, one of the Seniors here and I have been asked to be your guide today." She said in greeting. "As for getting into Claremont at the last minute, that is not altogether unusual. Our semester does not start until tomorrow and we have another new arrival as well." Giang indicated Georgia. "It was just over a year ago that I started here myself, although I missed the first couple of days at the start of that semester as I joined three other students on a trip to the Lost World arranged by the school"
