Happy Birthday HG!!

Well Ari, given several of the bad guys Osprey are with are in the back of a van, the rest of us may not be able to see them (especially if there is a lot of distance between them. And I don't believe we have any information to tell us that the people in the other van are criminals.

Dee had been quite for most of the drive from the Ministry. The young woman had been running through some of the techniques Crab had taught her for preparing to use her powers. While she was a bit hesitant about getting into the middle of all this, she reluctantly had to admit that Headcase certainly had helped to prepare her for just this sort of eventuality. When the Ministry van had reached the docks, Dee was about as ready as she could hope to be. Glancing out into the darkness at the scene before them, the young woman caught sight of the other van that came screeching to a halt a short ways off. "Looks like we are not the only ones with an interest in this Osprey." She stated.

Well, he really does not have time to do information searches at the moment. But, you can make a Kn: Physical Science roll, and an untrained Kn: Business roll if you like.

Fulman had barely just found PanStar's website when the florist's delivery van stated forward once more and he was able to follow after in his van. Soon both vehicles had pulled through the open garage door on the side of the building the guard had directed them towards. Inside was a spacious loading area, which was mostly empty at the moment, save for a couple of cars and a pair of catering vans. A number of men and women in white uniforms were busy unloading the two vans onto the loading platform. Pulling the van in rear first on the other side of the florist as it took a space near one of the catering van, Fulman saw a young woman in her mid-twenties in a suit with a kneel length skirt standing up on the raise platform by the vehicles. As both vehicles came to a halt, she moved up towards Fulmen's window. "You are delivering the ice sculpture, correct?" She asked somewhat curtly.

Giang allowed the swirling sheen of water that had protected her so well during the intense minutes of combat against Natas and his hirelings to fade, her appearance returning to normal once more. Though she felt a number of aches and bruises, she knew that it was not quite yet time to rest. As the Atlantean warriors that had arrived began securing the unconscious mercenaries on the deck and moving to search the ship, the Asian teen's eyes drifted up to the miniature submersible that had been brought up aboard the ship during the fight. "If we are looking for whatever they might have taken, perhaps that is where we should start.: She stated, pointing up at the small underwater vessel that was still dripping water down onto the deck.
-
Giang glanced at the bowl of food that had been left on the table for her with a pair of chopsticks, but at the moment did not have much in the way of an appetite given the danger in which her friends now found themselves because of her. "The world may believe Dr. Sin is deceased, but my father certainly did not seem to believe so. And neither did Raven." She replied quietly as she moved back towards the forcefield. "I do not blame myself for the crimes of my family." She replied to Subito's comments. "But I knew that my father was looking for me, as well as other of Dr. Sin's lieutenants. That incident involving John and I back in February during the Chinese New Year was agents of my father seeking to return me to Hong Kong." She fell silent once more as Subito provided Serge with more explanation as to what was going on. When the Puerto Rican teen put another question to her, the Asian teen glanced up, considering for a moment. "I believe Lady Shen is interested in what my father is up to and is hoping I will tell her what that is."

Okay, Fighter 8 starts moving toward the door and opens it to see the melee taking place outside. Fighter 12 follows after, and comes up behind Harry and throws a punch. He hits with a 21, so a DC 18 toughness save for Hound! Fighter 2 closes with Mess and attacks, but misses with a 16.
-
Blodeuwedd easily was able to position herself high enough in one corner to use Dyrnwyn to slice some of the cables holding the captive suspended in the air. Inside the netting the figure continued to twist and contort, trying to get free, but was still bound tightly. Removing more of the cables might make getting free an easier proposition. Down in the lobby area, Blue Jay did her best to get herself moving to keep from being an easy target. Meanwhile the two automated guns began tracking the teen to fire another volley...
-
Raven tries to escape her bonds again, but still fails. Crow is up! (Quinn, I would assume he can generally see what is going on with Blue Jay)
-
Well, he gets a 24, so picks up another bruise.
-
Tiff, no problem getting up high enough to start cutting at the cables. With her acrobatics, she can bound up high enough and then wedge herself into a corner and start cutting. For simplicity sake, we will say she manages to server a couple of cables near where she starts (will have to move around some to get the others). As for the hero point, well, not sure, would you be stunting something off your normal equipment? But I would save the hero point, as you have 18 rounds before Blod even needs to start making Fort saves.
-
(and slight edit to give each of you a hero point for...I don't know, getting caught in a BIG brawl! (hopefully not over doing things here ))

Lucy's sucker punch managed to catch the large blond bruiser off guard, but though he was clearly hurt as he arched his back from the powerful blow, he remained on his feet as he glanced back at her. "You certainly are stronger than you look. But you're the one making the mistake messing the Battle Brothers!" He said as he spun around and launched a left hook at her that caused her to duck to one side to seemingly avoid the attack. The African American bruiser that Harry had tripped glanced up at him as he scowled. "We'll deal with you in a bit." He grunted before smoothly getting back to his feet and then turning towards Lucy with an eerie precision as he launched a punch directly at where her had was moving to avoid his companion's feint. However, Lucy was quick enough to see the incoming attack and block it.

Okay, Jack is going to Aid other by trying to set up for Malcom to get a shot at Lucy, he easily does this with a 22 on his attack roll vs the DC 10 for the action. Thanks to the Teamwork feat, this gives Malcom a +3 on his attack roll. Malcom stands up and attacks Lucy, but still misses despite the +3 with a 17

As Crimson Tiger rushes forward to make quick work of the lead two goons, the faces of the pair further down the hallway clearly show looks of alarm and fear. One of the two takes a few steps backward as he aims his pistol and fires. However, his hands were shaking far too badly, and the shot flew well over the heroines' head, impacting on one of the thick walls. Inside waiting room with the other fighters, Freddy was busy pounding on another bag and failed to hear the echo of the gunshot, muffled by the thick walls, nor any of the commotion beginning just on the other side of the main door to the room. Some of the room's other occupants seemed to have heard the gunshot, as they turned to look in the direction of the door. There were a number of goons in the cheap suits in the room, and all of them seemed to stop a moment as they appeared to be getting information over a radio. Then each of them pulled out pistols and one of them yelled out to the fighters and others gathered in the room. "It appears we have some moles in our midst as well as some costumed hero deciding to crash the party." He yelled out, the news brining the various activity in the room to a halt. "So, it's time for ya'll ta step up, unless you want to end up going to jail, or like Diaz." He then added. "Half of you, get him!" He shouted, pointing at Freddy. "The other half, get out in the hall and help deal with the others!" There was a brief moment of uncertainty in the room, then about half a dozen fighters started to move in towards Freddy, while another half dozen started towards the door that Lucy and Harry had recently exited through. Now fully aware that something was happening, Freddy noticed there was a small handful of fighters that did not move to do either of the things ordered by the thug, including the one Freddy had spoken with earlier. Back in the hallway, the other goon facing off with Crimson Tiger also retreated backward some. Another gunshot echoed in the hallway as he took a shot at the heroine, but his aim was little better than his companions, and the bullet ricocheted off the wall well past her.

So, clearly we are out of combat.

As Natas crashed to the deck unconscious, Giang gave a small sigh of relief as the fatigues she was feeling fully began to weigh on her. Still, Thaelia's jubilant mood at their victory was somewhat contagious, and the Asian teen found herself smiling. "I believe that is the correct phrase." She replied as she glanced around the aft deck of the large ship, where several unconscious mercenaries were strewn about. A slight feeling beyond her normal senses had Giang turn to seemingly look down at the empty deck in front of her, when in fact she was sensing movement down in the water alongside the ship, which had now come a halt. She raised one hand slightly, and down below a set of stairs made out of water made solid formed front the surface of the water up to the side of the ship. Moments later, a number of armed Atlanteans appeared over the railing of the ship, dropping down to the deck as the glanced around. "Princess, are you unharmed?"

Okay Tiff, picking back through things, still a few minor errors (some I might have missed before): On Abilities, you list the bonuses for Con, Int, Wis and Cha instead of that actual PP cost (ie 2, 1, 1, 3), but the Total cost of abilities is correct. Still should probably fix that. Also, on her Strength (or more specifically STR adjusted by Growth/Density), you have a 16 base STR and get +16 from her Density/Growth, we cannot just ignore +2 of that increase from those powers to keep her at the caps. You would either need to drop the base STR down to 14, adjust those two powers slightly (which I know throws off some of other benefits they give) or drop a point of her attack bonus to have a tradeoff. Combat block: Is much easier to follow now. Grapple: A couple errors here (subject to what you do on her STR above). When using Growth, it should be +22 (+5 BAB -2 size atk penalty +1 AF: Melee +10 Str +8 size grapple bonus) . When using Density, her grapple would be +18 (+5 BAB +1 AF: Melee +10 STR +2 super strength) When Shrunk, I believe it should be +3 (+5 BAB +1 AF: Melee +2 size atk bonus +3 Str -8 size grapple penalty) For your Knockback, I believe when Shrunk it should still be -1 (as you only add 2 for the two size categories change from medium). Toughness, still listing the increased from Growth/Density as +3 instead of +4 (though the total is right). Might also want to note she has 4 Impervious Toughness when using Density. Powers: For Density, might want to note the Toughness is Impervious. I calculate her carrying capacity to be 3 tons for hvy load (30 STR +10 from superstrength = 40) For Growth, should probably list that she has a 3 ton hvy load carrying capacity at max height as well (again 30 STR and +10 from 8 ranks of Growth = 40). Might also want to list the bonuses to Grapple and Intimidate, and the penalty to Stealth. For Shrinking, it should be Shrinking 8 (not 11) and Normal Toughness is an Extra, not a feat (though you have calculated the cost correctly). As with Growth, you might want to list other bonuses/penalties (such as Grapple, and Intimidate penalties, and her bonus to Stealth). For Mind Reading, dropping the Range to Touch would give you 3 ranks per 1 PP, so the costs is a bit off for only 10 ranks. If you want it Touch, you would have 12 ranks for 4 PP. On the Device and Summon, not clear here, it looks like the Summon is the device's power? If so, the PP cost for the Device needs to be listed (which would be 7, 3 per rank and +1 for the restricted feat). DC block: So, you calculate the DC for her basic and shrinking unarmed attacks as having a +2 bonus from STR, where she has +3 (was this in error, or did you intend to drop STR to 14?) Also, for her Mind Reading, you list a Perception range, but you limited the power to Touch. So, moving on to the Mother Unit and Birthing Unit (ie vehicle) Well, generally the stats for the both look good (might want to specify that Mother Unit's Immunity is to Fort effects), but there is a bigger question here. Where are the points for the Mother Unit coming from? It appears to be at least a minion, so would cost 3 PP to Miss Grue. In addition, if Mother Unit is Miss Grue's minion (or even sidekick), I do not believe you can shunt the costs of the Birthing Unit (vehicle) to that minion/sidekick. Miss Grue gets benefits from the vehicle (namely the hypersonic flight) and she is the character, so she should be paying the cost for the vehicle. Also, how is the Birthing Unit flown? Neither Miss Grue nor Mother Unit have the piloting skill? On a sidenote, I know what Cape said above, but I believe you could include some powers for the Birthing Unit if you wanted (look at Geckoman's Pitchoo for example). So if you wanted to follow the Miss Martian example and give in concealment visual, that should be possible, for more points.

The smile on Lawrence's face widened as Stesha mentioned loving the series as well. "My mommy and father read them to me when I was little, but I can read them on my own now." He replied, a great deal of pride evident in his accomplishment. Megan gave the little boy an adoring look, but then replied, "you will have a chance to visit a little later, back to the bedroom," She then quickly added, "and walk please!" There was a brief look of disappointment on Lawrence's face, but he then gave his mother a small smile and started off down the hallway to the right. "That ought to keep him busy for an hour or so." Megan stated quietly as she closed the door to the apartment. "Can I take your coat?" She then asked.
-
A crit would have been a nice touch, but, ultimately unnecessary, as he only gets a 8 on his toughness save. We will say he is KOed! (go ahead and post IC cracking the face plate of his helmet or something equally comic book stylish for the finishing blow to the main bad guy!)
-
Not much without any spears, which Natas still has (though he was almost out anyway).
-
Stesha was not at all surprised that the door the apartment was opened almost instantly after her knock. "Right on time Stesha. Its so good to see you." Megan stated cheerfully as she opened the door and greeted her teammate with a wide smile. The blonde speedster was also dressed in civilian clothes, in her case a pair of dark jeans and a white cashmere sweater. Though she looked just like she had when Stesha had last seen her a few weeks ago, there was something else there in her face or eyes that was hard to place. "Please come in and make yourself comfortable." Megan added, stepping aside to allow Stesha in. Just inside the door was a small foyer with hardwood floors. A narrow table sat under a mirror on the right hand wall, and a closet was to the left. Stesha could see a hallway leading off to the right a short ways in, and straight ahead the entryway opened up into a larger, brightly lit room. Just as Stesha entered the apartment, another figure seemed almost to appear ahead of her. A young boy who looked about six years old stood there looking at her. He had short blond hair and fine features. His bright blue eyes were filled with a curiosity and intelligence that was hard to miss, and were the very image of Megan's own blue eyes. "Hello." He said with a warm smile and something of a refined British accent. Megan glanced over to the boy a smile coming to her face. "Lawrence, this is mommy's friend Stesha. She and I are going to visit a bit, so why don't you go back to the bedroom and reread a couple of the Harry Potter books."
