As Harry and Lucy opened the door to follow after the guard that Lucy had talked to, they were surprised by a group of guys in similar cheap suits that rushed by them with guns in their hands. But they were clearly focused on something else, as they hustled down the hall back in the directions of the elevator that had brought the three down to this level. The two were no sooner out the door and turning to look the way the guys in suits had come from when they found the way blocked by two large figures. A pair of muscular men dressed in black, sleeveless bodysuits with red details stood with their arms crossed in front of them. The man on the right was a large African American with a bald head and well trimmed goatee and mustache. On his right forearm was a high-tech looking metal bracer. The man on the left was Caucasian with buzz cut blond hair. On his left forearm was a metal bracer identical to the one worn by his companion. "Hi there." Said the one on the right. "Going somewhere?" Asked the other. After dealing with the two thugs sent up to look for her, Crimson Tiger quickly moved down the stairway until she reached the bottom of the stairwell. There was a heavy door out of the stairwell, but without windows to see what lay beyond.

Thomas, I will work on getting a thread going for Tempest. As for the Freedom League, wanting to join as a character goal is fine, however player membership in the League has been granted rather sparingly and usually to players that are established on the board.

Vahn, for the moment everyone has stopped moving forward towards the T-Rex.

With something of a goal in mind, Dee just stood off to one side while waiting for Jasmine and Young Britannia to get what they wanted before they went searching for this mysterious vigilante. While the young woman would likely want to get a few things before they got to trying to tackle the problem of the Haven, for this little outing, she did not need anything in particular. While she waited, a part of her mind was running through those blueprints, matching them to what she saw during her visit to the Haven those couple of years ago. She tried to think about possible things that Crab might have added to what had been planned. When Cruxberry came in and mentioned they had a lead on the Osprey and mentioned that he was apparently one of the Ministry’s accidents, she could only roll her eyes as she gave a small grunt of derision. "You lot seem to have far more of those failures than successes."

It had been about all Velocity could do to keep from zipping off from the others and Hronos led them along the trail of temporal activity he was detecting. She had tended to dart from side to side as they went, checking to be sure no one was trailing or otherwise observing them as they went. When they came to a stop almost a football field away from the strange dome structure nearly completely hidden by the foliage, the yellow clad speedster came to something of a standstill as she looked out towards the two massive T-Rex. "And of course this would have to go like a scene from Jurassic Park." She muttered. Her goggles allowed her to quickly study the two meat-eating dinosaurs closely in a fraction of a second. "Hmm, they have some sort of electronic devices attached to their necks." She said to the others. "I could zip over there and get them to follow me, then double back after I lead them far enough away."

Okay, as mentioned in chat, Velocity will Take 20 on a Notice check on the T-Rex (with only about a -2 penalty thanks to Extended on her vision). So she easily spots the devices on them. But, she has no clue what they might be.

As the electrical current from the shock spear faded, Giang focused back on the mercenary leader in front of her. In her periphery vision, she saw Thaelia reappear on the upper deck of the ship, one of the energy rifles used by the mercenaries in her hands. The Asian teen did nothing to tip off that the other teen had returned, intent on keeping the mercenary leader’s attention focused on her. "You are not proving any more able to 'deal' with me than in our last meeting mercenary." She stated as she brought her hands up, another jet of powerful twisting coils of water shooting forth towards the figure in the armored wetsuit before her. However, Natas managed to duck to one side at the last moment, as the blast of water streaked past, flying out over the side of the ship and out to sea.

Round Fifteen 20 Tsunami (bruised, fatigued) 20 Glamazon (unharmed) 17 Natas 16 Merc 14 13 Merc 15 9 Merc 2 (mini-sub injured 2) Okay, Giang will use a bit of Defensive attack, -2 Atk, +2 Def, and then send a blast at Natas, getting a 18. Unfortunately, that just misses. Glam is up!

At the moment Velocity is using the extra feature of the alt goggles and making a few Take 20 notice checks of the area around them (at superspeed) to make sure nothing is moving in on them.

Velocity had initially been concerned when Smith had stated he was not able to use the Stopwatch to track Robert to where he had been taken. But that concern was then quickly alleviated when he stated he could use to Stopwatch to take them to the Null Time (though she hoped that it was the correct one, on the possibility there could be more than one). After the brief disorientation of the trip, the speedster was then hit with another wave of the same from the white sky and the dizzying horizon of the lush countryside that stretched in all directions seemingly infinitely. Reducing the magnification provided by her goggles, the speedster adjusted to their surroundings just as she realized the presence of things that should not be there, standing still in slight shock at the sight of the massive plant eating dinosaurs that were not too far away from where they had arrived. "A preserve?" She stated rhetorically to Smith's comment. "Yeah, that sounds about right." She added, thinking about what the older version of Robert had stated about Collapse during their meeting. But she was pulled from those thoughts as the grass around Hronos suddenly withered and died and the robotic hero himself appeared to start rusting in a fraction of a second. She took a step back as Hronos suggested they keep a safe distance, nodding slightly. She then turned to look around, an unnecessary motion as she could see all around her, but still one of habit. "So, now how to find Robert, wherever he might be." She then glanced back over to Hronos with a thoughtful look. "Or maybe they might find us." She stated, as she activated the function of the experimental goggles that should allow her to overcome the camouflage used by the time agents and their robots.

GM Natas appeared to hesitate a moment as he considered Giang's last comment, but then he once again reloaded his speargun, this time with one of the rounded head electrical charged ones. "Once I deal with you, I will hunt her down and eliminate her as well." The mercenary stated as he raised his weapon, tracking a moment at the Asian teen tried to dodge aside. The spear shot forth, electricity playing across its tip, and stuck Giang squarely on the side as she tried to sidestep. The electrical current arched over her, causing her to tense slightly, but she otherwise shook off the effects of the attack as the spear fell to the deck.

Natas fires one of the flat headed stun spears at Giang, this time just hitting with a 24. Giang makes her Fort save with a 20.

Looking forward to it and totally understand Cape! As I said in chat, I am up for us taking over the Haven (and fully plan on Dee tearing everything apart and rebuilding it over time). Also as I mentioned in chat, I will probably devote some points when I get my Gold award (which should be soon) to having Dee put together an AI sidekick like JARVIS in the Iron Man movies.

After dodging the attacks of the mercenary leader and his remaining hireling on the aft deck, Giang landed lightly, turning slightly as she thrust her hands out in front of her to send another jet of twisting coils of water towards the mercenary near the crane. The jet of water slammed into the man, knocking him back into one of the supports for the crane, where he collapsed to the ground unconscious in a puddle of water. The Asian teen then turned back to Natas, assuming a defensive stance once more a she prepared for his next attack. "I am not concerned about my friend villain. But perhaps you should be. What could she be doing to your ship while you are here focused on me?"

Round Fourteen 20 Tsunami (bruised, fatigued) 20 Glamazon (unharmed) 17 Natas 16 Merc 14 13 Merc 12 13 Merc 15 9 Merc 2 (mini-sub injured 2) Giang will keep with the fully shifted Defensive Attack for another round (has helped her avoid at least three or four attacks!). She takes 10 to blast Merc 12, and his is out. Glam is up!

GM The armored mercenary leader let out a low growl, loading his speargun once more as he tracked the Asian teen's movements across the deck of the ship. "Perhaps girl, but your friend appears to have abandoned you. It took you and your other friend together to beat me last time, can you do it on your own?" With that, he raised his weapon, sending the razor tipped spear flying at Giang. But the teen was already crouching down in a low back stance, bending forward with her arms out to either side as the projectile passed dangerous close over her back, but still missed all the same. The remaining mercenary still standing on the aft deck swung his pistol towards the teen as well, pulling the trigger with another loud gunshot. But Giang has sprung up into the air, spinning around once as the bullet passed harmlessly underneath her. Opening back out of the spin, she landed lightly in a cat stance her hands up defensively in front of her.

Natas attacks Giang again, coming close, but still missing with a 23 Merc 12 attacks her as well, also coming very close with a 23, but missing just like his boss.

Okay, he slams into the wall and is out!

HG, he cannot beat that, even if he rolled a 20! Only problem, where you two are, you cannot see Merc 12. You actually cannot see anyone else at the moment.

Giang twisted and rolled across the aft deck of the ship, avoiding the attacks of Natas and two of his henchmen. The Asian teen wondered where Thaelia had moved off to, but had little doubt that the Atlantean teen was pursuing some of the mercenaries responsible for attacking her people. Springing back up to her feet, Giang twisted slightly her hands out in front of her as twisting coils of water shot forth towards the mercenary up atop the mini-sub dangling above the deck. The powerful blast of water stuck the man dead center, knocking him off the mini-sub and sending him flying over the bow of the ship and out into the water unconscious. "Once again you are letting your hirelings fall all around you mercenary." She stated as she turned back towards Natas.

Round Thirteen 20 Tsunami (bruised, fatigued) 20 Glamazon (unharmed) 17 Natas 16 Merc 14 13 Merc 12 13 Merc 15 10 Merc 3 9 Merc 2 (mini-sub injured 2) 5 Merc 13 Tsunami will stick with the fully shifted Defensive Attack and blast at Merc 3 (taking 10 to hit). Another great roll for one of the mercs, but still not good enough against Tsunami’s Blast 10, so he is out.
