GM Starshot managed to break free from the alien mind and regain control over his body as he rolled out into he was out of view in the tunnel he and the others had followed to this chamber. But just as he got out of view of the Grue, one of the shapeshifted ones came skittering after him in its alien-spider form. The Grue let out a hiss and slashed down at Starshot’s prone form, slashing him with one of its wicked claws. Meanwhile, the Grue that had the telepathic lock on Starshot instead focused its attention on Kinarr, reaching out towards the young Star Khan's mind. However, Kinarr proved to have formidable willpower and managed to prevent the Grue from entering his thoughts. When the other shapeshifted Grue charged towards Doktor Archeville, the young Star Khan once again put himself between the attacker and the Earthman, taking another hit from the wicked claws of the alien-spider form, which once again only put faint scratches across the surface of Star Khan’s armor. "Unfortunately all too real Doktor." Kinarr replied to Archeville's comment about the Grue as he counter-attacked the shapeshifted one attacking him, once again hitting it and sending it flying backwards as it returned to its normal form as it lost consciousness.

Okay, one of the shapeshifted Grue Arcane will go after Starshot and gets a 23 on its attack roll, which brings up a DC 23 toughness save for Starshot @Supercape The only non-dazed unshapeshifted will try to mentally grapple Star Khan: only a 9 on its mind reading check, which Star Khan beats without a roll, so it fails to establish a lock. The other shapeshifted will go after Dok A and Star Khan will again interpose, it hit but again stopped by Impervious. Star Khan will attack it, hitting with a 31, DC 29 toughness save for the Aracne (with 3 bruises): 15, so that one is down now as well. @Dr Archeville Dok is up!

Paradigm La Puma Negra took down one of the Boran thugs and two troopers to the right of the group, but there were plenty more where that came from. The other Justicar that had thrown his lot in with Sovereign flew forward, his power pike glowing with energy as he stabbed at Kinarr. But the young Star Khan took the blow, which deflected harmlessly off his power armor. WOOSH Paradigm shot forward towards Sovereign as she delivered a powerful right hook. WHAM The large Boran's head was knocked backward as he went flying back twenty-five feet to land in the rubble, clearly dazed. Paradigm hovered in place, waiting for him to get back up or another enemy to try to engage her. After taking the hit from Justicar Har'al, Kinarr delivered a quick counter attack into the armored figure that sent the Justicar sprawling onto the broken and grass covered pavement of the abandoned parking lot. The young Star Khan similarly braced himself for more attacks as he looked about at the other forces Sovereign had brought with him. One of those forces, another Boran toward the left of the group, started to rush forward, firing a large energy weapon as he did. The powerful beam was aimed at Predator, who was able to dodge aside, the beam flying off to hit a ruined wall as sort distance away. Meanwhile, another large Boran rushed toward La Puma, lifting up a large axe to swing it at her. Suddenly Star Khan was between her and the attack, deflecting the axe away as it smashed into the pavement, sending chunks flying lose.

Justicar Har'al will move in to attack Star Khan, hitting with a 24. he easily makes the DC 25 toughness save with a 33 Paradigm will fly over to hit Sovereign, missing with a 16, will HP that a 31 (with the +10 for the reroll). DC 33 toughness save for Sovereign: 26, which is bruised and dazed and knocked back 25 feet. Star Khan will attack the Justicar that moved in to attack in melee, hitting with a 25, DC 29 toughness save for the Justicar: 24 so also bruised and dazed. . One Boran Lieutenant will move in and fire a large blaster at Predator, missing with a 17. The other Boran Lieutenant will try to hit La Puma with his axe, Star Khan will Interpose: missing. As they heard the chanting from outside, Bernadette could not help but grin. "I think Vueriz is right, we had better get out there." She said before giving Charlie a quick kiss before he and Vueriz went to join the other Claremont students in the crowed. The band waited at the edge of the stage for Neko to introduce them and cover their arrival with her illusions. Off to the left edge of the stage (from the audience’s view) a piano had been set up, which was somewhat out of place. Bernadette moved to the microphone set up in the center of the stage near the front edge, while her disguised duplicates took up places to the right of the stage near the bass player. The Irish redhead looked out over the crowd with a wide smile before she glanced back to Summer who had just finished getting all set up. The lights in the club dimmed and soon the main lighting was just those shining onto parts of the stage. GM Once again Doktor Archeville's barrage of hard light struck all the Grue arcane in the chamber. While another of them fell to the ground unconscious, there were still five up an active, which included two of those shapeshifted and the leader. The leader stood back up right after taking another hit, focusing its attention on the Doktor. Rising its robe concealed hands, the Grue changed some alien, arcane words and a blast of mystical energy struck towards the Doktor, hitting him squarely in the chest. Although the Grue that had the mental lock on Starshot's mind took another hit, it maintained that hold on the hunter’s mind, dark whispering filling Starshot's head…

GM Cerebellum's mental attack caused the Omegadrone that had been attacking La Puma Negra to suddenly rear back in pain as it dropped its power pike and grabbed for its head. However, that was brief, as the armored figure quickly succumbed to the mental attack, dropping out of the sky to crash onto the ground below. Several of the gathered police and SWAT officers all spotted the giant illusion of Crimson Katana and yelled in panic before they started running away from the illusion. Others just ducked down behind the cover they had, seemingly expecting the creature to somehow not be able to get to them. Meanwhile, El Gato looked at the illusion, seemingly fooled by it as well as she muttered a number of curse words in Spanish before running back towards the mouth of the alleyway, seemingly weighing whether or not she should just bolt for or not. "What the hell is that things?" She asked Archer as she passed him.

@Huckleberry while we wait for Kaede's IC post, what is Rot doing? There is one of the flying insect things still on her, there is one that was on Lawrence (before he moved), but it is too far away to catch with the one on Rot (or any other). She could just get the one that is still on Baz along with the one on her.

Multi-Girl Bernadette had just watched with a bit of surprise when the others started working on setting up tents despite the increasing wind.
