As the guys in the van cannot really do anything, we are on to… Round Five 19 Jack o' Lantern (bruised) 16 Thug 5 11 Solar Sentinel (1 HP, unharmed) 9 Thug 6 8 Thug 4 6 Thug 3 JoL uses his AoE, causing some fires in the bank and catching Solar in the blast. Need a Reflex save DC 18, if you make it, the toughness save will be DC 19, if not, it will be DC 23.

Yeah, but just barely.
-
Yep, you shake it off, your action.

The man who had tried to hit Solar Sentinel with his pistol watched with shock as the hero blasted the man with the flaming pumpkin head. Deciding he did not want to go up against the hero, he bent down and picked up the bag of money that the supervillain had dropped, and then ran over to hop into the back of the van. Two other men in ski masks came running out of the bank as well, veering around Solar Sentinel as they moved over into the van as well. Up in the sky, the man wreathed in flames managed to right himself after taking the energy blast from Solar Sentinel. "Aye, that certainly was a fair improvement." He begrudgingly stated. "Let's see 'ow ya take one in return." He then added, bringing up one of his hands as a beam of light shot forth and struck the hero squarely in the chest. In the van, the thug in the driver seat saw all his conscious companions were aboard, and started off down the street, away from the direction the police cars had been coming from.

Round Four 19 Jack o’ Lantern (bruised) 16 Thug 5 11 Solar Sentinel (1 HP, unharmed) 9 Thug 6 8 Thug 4 6 Thug 3 JoL fires a laser blast down at Solar Sentinel, hitting with a 22 (been adding in the wrong bonus). A DC 25 toughness save is needed. Thug 5 pulls the van away from the scene.

That is a hit, his first toughness save is BAD. Have a hero point as he gets a reroll, he gets a 21 the second time around, so is bruised.

Giang had not been able to reply to Thaelia before the Atlantean teen was gone, and then she found herself having to dodge another torpedo explosion and then being hit by a speargun projectile, which thankfully her watery forcefield deflected. The Asian teen took a brief moment to glance back up at the surface of the water, hoping that her roommate was alright. She knew Natas could be a rather dangerous opponent, it had taken both her and Warp to defeat him last time. But she did not want to leave too many enemies down in the water before following her roommate to the surface. Swimming up closer to the surface, Giang positioned herself where she would be able to target both the active mini-submarine and the two mercenaries shooting spearguns at her. As before, the Asian teen thrust her hands out in front of her and then swept each of them to one side, sending numerous quick bursts of water slicing through the ocean waves. The attacks struck unerringly, easily knocking out the two mercenaries and inflicting more damage on the submersible.

Round Ten 20 Tsunami (bruised, fatigued, 1 HP) 20 Glamazon (unharmed, fatigued, 1 HP) 18 Merc 5 17 Natas 16 Merc 14 14 Manta 5 pilot 14 Merc 11 13 Merc 12 13 Merc 15 12 Merc 9 10 Merc 3 10 Merc 10 9 Merc 2 (mini-sub injured 2) 5 Merc 13 2 Manta 2 pilot Tsunami will swim up some so that she can catch the two mercs (5 and 2) and the last mini-sub in her area water blast: Both mercs miss their Reflex saves, and then also miss their Toughness saves, so they are out. The mini-sub picks up another injury. Glamazon is up!
-
Okay, thought that might be the case. Raven tries to use escape artist, but fails to free herself with a 20. Crow is up.

GM Thaelia managed to resist the blast from one of the mercenaries, even as the man on the opposite side of the lower deck activates the crane, which lifts the submersible that the Atlantean had just used to leap off of up into the air, bringing it level with the deck. Up on the deck above, another mercenary moves over near the ladder leading down to the lower deck, looking down to see the scene below. Seeing that the Atlantean had her back to him, he aims his pistol at her and fires. The bullet strikes Thaelia, but her armor stopped it from penetrating, and she was easily able to ignore the force of the impact. Over on the now raised submersible, the mercenary who had attached the cranes cables raised a speargun which he fired at Thaelia. But his aim was well off, the spear ending up stuck in the railing of the ship instead. Down below the waves, the only active submersible swung around to face the only active threat, firing a torpedo at Giang. The Asian teen was able to maneuverer around the worst of the explosions shockwave, avoiding any harm. But this brought her right into the path of another of the mercenaries who fired a speargun at her. The small projectile struck Giang, but the thin sheen of water surrounding the teen deflected it harmlessly away.

Yay! Continuing on… Merc 3, who is standing on the mini-sub that just was lifted up fires his speargun at Glamazon, missing horribly with a 6. The only active mini-sub shots a torpedo at Tsunami, who makes her Reflex save, and avoids any damage. The other merc in the water fires a speargun at Tsunami, hitting with a 20. She makes her Toughness save with a 21
-
Okay then... Merc 12 starts up the crane, lifting the mini-sub Glamazon used as a springboard up out of the water and level with the aft deck of the ship. Merc 9 rushes along the upper deck to the ladder down to the aft deck and looks down at the scent below. He takes a shot at Glamazon’s back, catching Glamazon by surprise (she did not hear him moving up there), he hits her with a 12. Need a toughness save, DC 18 please.
-
Hehe, well, that still is making it. Can you give me a notice check for Glamazon please.

Thug 6 emerges from the bank, and takes a swing at Solar with his pistol, missing with a 12. Thug 2 will turn his attention to the other approaching police car, firing his pistol at it as he moves towards the van. But misses with a 14. The second police car pulls up and Officer 4 uses his saved action to step out and shoot at Thug 2, just hitting with a 12. Thug 2 misses his Tough save and goes down. Round Three 19 Jack o’ Lantern (unharmed) 16 Thug 5 11 Solar Sentinel (1 HP, unharmed) 9 Thug 6 8 Thug 4 6 Thug 3 2 Officer 3 2 Officer 4 JOL drops his bag of money, bursts into flames and files up into the air. Then he sends a ball of flame back down to the ground over near the second police car, catching it and the two officers in small explosion. Both officers miss their Reflex saves. They also both miss their Toughness saves, so they are unconscious. The police car takes some damage. Thug 5 is in the driver seat of the van and starting it up.

The pumpkin headed man grunted slightly as he took the punch from Solar Sentinel. "You'll 'ave ta do better than that boyo." He replied. Just then, yet another man in a ski mask emerged from the bank, running up next to the pumpkin headed man and Solar Sentinel. As he reached the pair, the man tried to swing at the hero with his pistol, but the hero was able to block the clumsy blow with ease. The man who had previously tried to shoot Solar Sentinel now turned his attention to the other police car that was still speeding towards them. Moving over towards the van, the man brought his pistol up and took a shot at the police car. However, his aim was not much better than when he had tried to shoot Solar Sentinel, and the shot ricocheted off the pavement one of the tires. The police car skidded to a halt a short distance from the van and the officer in the passenger side opened his door and got out behind it. Brining his pistol up, he fired at the man who had just shot at them, hitting the ski masked criminal squarely. The man fell back against the van and the crumpled to the pavement. The pumpkin headed criminal then dropped the bag he was holding in his hand as his entire body became shrouded in flames. He then flew up into the air, stopping above the scene as he looked down at the second police car. Pulling one hand back, he then threw it forward, sending a small jet of flame flying down towards the ground, which landed a short distance from the police car where it exploded in a ball of flame. The explosion washed over the police car, causing it some damage. Both the officers in the car were caught in the blast, and were knocked to the ground unconscious by it. Inside the van, the man who had run out just after the pumpkin headed man climbed into the driver's seat and started up the van's engine…

Nope, Tsunami misses with a 13.

Okay Tiff, Blod is up!

Easily able to push aside some of the weakened metal grating to make the hole a bit bigger, Blue Jay managed to slip in through the front door. Inside, she found herself in a dimly lit entry way to the building. Along one wall were a set of old mail boxes for when the building had been apartments, though from the looks of things, that was some time ago. There was smoke damage all through the room, but from what the teen could tell, it had been a mess even before that. There was a small seating area, with a couple of moldy old sofas and chairs. There was an elevator directly ahead of her, and to the left of that, the entrance to a stairwell that led up. To either the left or the right were hallways leading off to other parts of the ground floor. Blue Jay's infravision allowed her to spot a camera located up in the far right hand corner of the room. She also caught the faint echo of a voice that sounded as if it was coming from somewhere up the stair well. "Well Raven, it looks as if someone has come to help you. Shall we see who they are?"
-
Rav, please give me a notice check for Blue Jay.

That is a hit. But the pumpkin man makes his Toughness save with a 29. Go ahead and post.
-
The other guy takes a shot a Solar, and misses by a mile as well. This takes us to… Round Two 19 ??? (unharmed) 18 Officer 2 17 Officer 1 16 Thug 5 15 Officer 4 11 Solar Sentinel (1 HP, unharmed) 9 Thug 6 8 Thug 4 6 Thug 3 7 Thug 2 2 Officer 3 The mystery man steps out of the bank and shots a blast of energy at the lead police car, hitting with a 26. The squad car only just misses the toughness save, so takes an Injured condition. But, the officer driving does not do well on a Drive check, so he crashes the squad car into a telephone pole. Solar is up!

Seeing his companion sent flying the glowing figure, the other man in the ski mask backed away slightly while raising his slightly shaking pistol. He was unable to stabilize his weapon before pulling the trigger, naturally leading to the shot missing Solar Sentinel by a good margin. But before the hero could react again, a figure stepped out of the hole in the doorway to the bank. The man was about average height, but it was his appearance that quickly drew attention. He was wearing a black body suit with orange gloves and boots (covered with numerous thin black vertical stripes). But most striking was the flaming orange jack o’ lantern he was wearing over his head. In one hand he was carrying a large burlap sack. "Well well, looks like we got ourselves the attention o' a 'ero." He said with a heavy Irish accent that was slightly muffled by the pumpkin mask. He brought his free hand up and a burst of energy shot forth. But the blast was not aimed at Solar Sentinel, it instead flew past the hero to strike the front of the lead police car, causing a bit of damage to the vehicle. But the impact was enough to cause the officer driving to lose control of the car, causing it to swerve up onto the sidewalk and smash into a telephone pole. The front of the vehicle crumpled inward, the hood flying up with the force of the impact. "Why don' ye be a good lad an' run over ta get those razzers some medical attention. Looks as if they are likely ta be needin' it." Behind the man in the pumpkin mask, another man in a ski mask emerged from inside the bank, also carrying a burlap sack. He glanced around quickly and then ran over to the side of the van.

Thug 1 is OUT!

Round One Well, one does better, one does worse. Police do a bit better. 20 Thug 1 18 Officer 2 17 Officer 1 15 Officer 4 11 Solar Sentinel (1 HP, unharmed) 7 Thug 2 2 Officer 3 Thug 1 shots at Solar, missing with a 12. The police are still arriving, so Solar Sentinel is up!

The two men were surprised by the sudden appearance of the glowing Solar Sentinel, staring at him in shocked silence for a few moments. Now that he was closer, the hero could see that both men were armed, one with a pistol, the other with a sub-machinegun. They were dressed in jeans and light coats, and both wore ski masks. He was also able to see that the entrance to the bank was wide open. Something had melted a large hole through both the metal crating covering the double glass doors, along with most of the doors themselves. Then the man with the sub-machinegun raised his weapon as he shouted out, "We've got trouble!" in a thick New Jersey accent. He fired a burst from his weapon, but was apparently still somewhat shaken by the hero’s sudden appearance, as all the rounds went well wide of the intended target. Meanwhile, the two squad cars sped down the street towards the scene closing half the distance…
