Yes, I believe that should be the case.

September 3, 2013 8:23 AM This morning found the sky over Freedom City overcast, with showers expected throughout the day and possibly thunder storms in the afternoon. Despite the cloud cover, the otherwise warm morning air was already very muggy due to the humidity. Nestled along the southeastern end of downtown Freedom City, the Fens were just as muggy as anywhere else. In the rather battered building that housed the Bloodhound Detective Agency, there was no reprieve from the humidity, as the building's air conditioning had once again decided to break down for the umpteenth time this summer. Harry was seated at his desk near the window, which was open in the hopes of getting a breeze. Freddy was seated on the sofa, watching the news, a fan blowing on him at the highest setting. Lucy was in the office she had recently moved into the humidity not bothering her in the slightest.

Giang paid close attention as Cerys instructed her on the mental codes to use the Ring of Eluned. Once Cerys had reconfigured her bodysuit, the Asian teen also faded from view as she activated the ring. The three started off to make their way around to the opposite side of the mountain and begin the ascent. Unfortunately, stealth was still not Giang's strong suit. While she might have been invisible, she was not doing a very good job of moving quietly. She just did her best to try and move away from anyone that might notice her noise and then remaining still until they satisfied themselves that there was no one there.

Once satisfied that the crew was dealing with the remnants of the fire, Tsunami set about helping any trapped crewmembers aboard or to safety. The Asian teen did not know what to make of the potential culpability of the various crewmembers, but figured that was something best left to law enforcement at this point. As she finished brining a pair of crewmembers back up on to the deck on a spout of water, she looked over to Blod and Crimson. "If they are not already on the way, we should likely contact the authorities to come secure the ship."

Tsunami might be unseen, but she is being loud.

Piling into the back of the van, Harry, Freddy and Lucy find themselves completely enclosed with no way of seeing outside. Already inside was a guy that was rather clearly a mob thug who was wearing a pair of jeans and a turtleneck sweater. He gave Harry and Freddy rather neutral looks, but let his eyes linger on Lucy a few moments before turning to regard another fighter and his manager who also climbed inside, giving them the same neutral look. Once the back door was closed, the van started off, pulling out of the parking lot and onto the street. Crimson Tiger started following along on her motorcycle, making sure she kept a good distance back. The van started deeper into Greenbank, and though there were a couple of times where Crimson thought she might have been spotted, the van continued at a normal speed without making any sudden turns or any other evasive measures. After about fifteen minutes, the van pulled up to the gate to an industrial building. Unlike the one from the other night, this one appeared to be active, appearing generally in good repair, with ten foot high fences all around the grounds and visible security guards patrolling the grounds. The guard at the gate let the van enter into the grounds, and it then pulled away from where Crimson could see it. Inside the van, after one brief stop that did not seem to be a traffic light, the van started forward once more, though it was going slower than street speed. It only moved for a couple of minutes before Harry, Freddy and Lucy felt like they were going down some sort of ramp. A minute or two later, the van came to a halt and the back opened up once more, a pair of mafia mooks standing at the back. "Alright, time to get out." One of the two ordered as both stepped back to let those in the back out. Climbing out after the other fighter and his trainer, Harry, Freddy and Lucy found themselves in what looked like an underground parking lot.

Tsunami watched briefly as the other figure in the water, who she realized was the Captain, was suddenly propelled away by a current far faster than she could normally swim. While she might be able to try to pursue, it was a long shot that she would be able to find where he had gone, given the speeds he was going. And in any event, Blod and Crimson still needed her to help deal with the fires on the ship. Rising up to stand on the surface of the waters under her control near Blod, the Asian teen then formed a column of water that carried the two teens back up to the deck of the Prince Edward. She then looked about to see how bad the fires still were.

Meanwhile, in Southside… Raven had moved out into the hallway, where she found more evidence of a struggle. She was just looking over some more electronics scatted on the floor when several loud clanging sounds echoed through the building. It was then a voice sounded over speakers hidden somewhere nearby. "Raven, so nice to see you again. Looking for some lost children?" The dark clad heroine stood slowly back up, readying herself for whatever Warden had planned. "Warden, where are they?" She stated simply in a cold voice. "Oh, they are well on their way towards my employer, if they are not there already." Came Warden's reply through the speakers. "You on the other hand, are a bonus." Along the hallway, two small portions of the wall slide aside, with two weapon emplacements popping free as the fired steel cables with weighted ends towards Raven. The dark clad heroine had been ready, dodging aside from the first cable, which coursed with an electric charge. Ducking underneath the second cable, Raven stood back upright and sent a boomerang flying down the hallway towards one of the weapon emplacements. As the weapon twirled end over end down the hallway, Raven was already moving after it, running down the hallway towards the stairwell. The boomerang stuck its target, knocking the weapon barrel back around the opposite direction, causing some damage in the process. Raven caught her boomerang on the run as it began to return. "I will find you Warden." She then dove away from another steel cable shot by the other weapon emplacement and into the stairwell. The heroine flipped over to try to land on her feet, only to find the stairs had flattened into a ramp. Staying upright, she began sliding down the ramp towards an opening in the wall at the bottom. "We will see if you can make it." Came Warden's voice over the speakers once more. Back in Bayview… "Just be sure to be ready for the unexpected." Headmaster Summers added as Crow started suggesting how they should proceed. "While the likelihood of Sin or one of his lieutenants being involved is quite high, there is the possibility that someone else altogether could be behind the disappearances."

At Nick's question, Jonathan somewhat reluctantly turned away from the ghost of his wife that hovered near their two children. "No, I was not having any trouble remembering. I thought of my father, who died forty years ago the last time the curse struck." "I thought of my father as well." Martin II replied. "He also died forty years ago." Gretchen spoke up next, her voice somewhat quiet. "I thought of my cousin Heather. We were very close when we were young, until she died during the last appearance of the curse." Paul seemed somewhat reluctant to reply, but when Nick turned to regard him, he shook his head. "No, I did not really have trouble remembering. I might have been only eight when my oldest brother died forty years ago, but I remember him very well."

Velocity was feeling the effects of Gabriel's song, but knew she had to stay alert. So the young speedster was checking what was going on around them constantly, as in carefully examining everywhere (thanks to her goggles three hundred and sixty degree vision) in a matter of seconds, and then checking again. As the ground swelled and opened up to revel what turned out to be a massive eye, Velocity's mind was racing, trying to think about what she could possibly do if that thing started to rise. The water displacement would be massive, and she tried to figure what she might be able to do to break up the waves that would form, and how fast she would have to go to run them all down. But then the eye closed once more, and the ground began to settle as Gabriel's song lulled the creature back to sleep. Breathing a sigh of relief, the speedster glanced over to her teammate as he sat back onto the ground, complaining about being hungry. Velocity vanished for a moment in a blur of yellow, and then was suddenly back, next to Gabriel. "Here you go." She stated, holding out a couple of granola bars she had just gone and picked up from the George Washington. "Great job Gabe."

With a plan of action decided on, Lucy made her way back to her place and began the long task of doing what she could to disguise her appearance. The process ended up taking several hours, but that was necessary to ensure she did the best she possibly could. Luckily, she had more than enough time to be as methodical as she needed to be. The others meanwhile had to find other ways to kill the time, with Crimson going back to Claremont for a couple of hours and getting some homework done. Harry was able to take care of some paperwork he had been putting off, while Freddy just sat on the sofa and watched someTV. By early evening, they all gathered back at the Bloodhound Detective Agency, Lucy now a stunning, curvaceous redhead in a tight dress. At a quarter till seven, Harry got a call telling him to be at the gym’s parking lot by eight that evening. At about half an hour till eight, Harry, Freddy and Lucy piled into the caddy and started off towards the gym, with Crimson following a good distance behind on her motorcycle. When the caddy arrived at the gym, Harry and the others were met by Carl and some of his fighters in the parking lot. There were a number of other fighters and their trainers/managers that where there as well, though they were being quickly led into the back of windowless vans. Carl regarded Lucy for a brief moment, his scowl perhaps a bit larger than normal, before he ushered the three into the back of one of the vans. From where she was parked a fair distance away, Crimson Tiger saw the other three put into the back of one of the vans in the parking lot as several of the other vans were already pulling out onto the street.

SC, while Tsunami could likely follow by similarly stunting for herself, she is sort of focused on other things at the moment (making sure Blod is safe and finishing putting out the fires), so we can likely say he is gone.

Velocity again easily makes the Fort save with a 27.

As mentioned in chat SC, I am good with you making the call on the team name (not to mention any other finalizing details at this point). As for the old members disappearance, I was always working under the impression that it was fairly recent (and I think many others were as well). I also made mention of Synapse meeting the other members of the team (having already known Headcase far better than she would like) a couple years earlier while at university. As for my generic arc, I guess the only things for me would be how Synapse will be reluctant in all this and of course probably dealing with some things about her tense relations with her family. Not sure there needs to be any appearance by Susan at this point (and certainly not her escaping just yet!)

GM The mini-submarine had rocked violently after being struck by some of the water blasts from the Asian teen, but the pilot had managed to right the vessel just in time dodge out of the way of the Atlantean teen as she tried an attack. Straightening out his course once again, the pilot increase the power to the vessel’s engine, the propellers turning even faster as it continued to ascend towards the surface. "This is Manta 5, I am inbound with opposition in direct pursuit!" He called out over the radio. A few seconds and nearly a thousand feet later, the mini-sub burst up onto the surface of the waves in the midst of three other mini-subs and the Python. Several of the mercenaries in the reinforced wetsuits were gathered on the mini-subs in the water or up on the deck of the transport ship. All were readying weapons, training them on the surface of the water for any sign of either of the superpowered teens.

Got a 17 (untrained).

Giang had cast a concerned glance towards Serge before focusing back on their captors as several of them began speaking in Mandarin. She did not like the sound of the collars, but there was little she could do at the moment to prevent having one placed around her neck. The Asian teen felt a slight jolt as the collar was fixed around her neck, but the feeling quickly passed. As the guards roughly started her forward once more across the hanger, Giang spoke up in Mandarin. <"Where are you taking us?"> One of the guards glanced over at her, a small scowl on his face. <"Lady Shen will give you what answers she chooses, until then, keep your mouth shut!">

The woman in 1930's clothing looked at Nick, understanding registering on her face. "The curse?" She stated, before her features began to contort in to a look of despair. "It claimed my Marco! I could not bear the loose!" She finished in a wail. A variety of expressions passed over the faces of the other shades. The woman that Nick could sense connected to Frank and Mary were the first to speak up. "All I know about the curse is what Jonathan and Sergio told me." She stated. "I had not even started dating Jonathan the last time it struck." The elderly woman that was connected to Martin III spoke up next. "I know nothing about any curse except a few hints of something I heard from my daughter after she married into the family." A grim expression came to the face of the man tied to Vince, before he spoke up as well. "I lost my other brother the last time the curse struck, forty years ago."

Posted Tsunami's action IC, I assume there was no roll required to help Blod back to the surface?

Giang was satisfied to see her waterspout was able to extinguish some of the flames on the ship. But before she could focus on continuing to try and douse the other fires, she noticed two figures enter the stormy waters. Turning away from the ship for the moment, the Asian teen dove back down under the waters, quickly closing with the closest figure, which had been trying to swim against the rough waters, and having a bit of difficulty. Giang was near the figure in moments, recognizing Blod right away. With a small gesture, she took control of the water right around Blod, using it to push her friend back up to the surface of the water and then hold her up there. Resurfacing nearby, the Asian teen glanced over at the other teenager. "Are you alright? Was the other person who entered the water Crimson?"

Okay, so all Velocity is going to do is examine the mask, which I would guess is a Notice check? She will thus Take 20 (getting a 29 for her result). Also SC, she should be fatigued now.

Whatever sense of accomplishment Velocity might have felt at getting the mask of Lady Brazil's face quickly dissipated when she saw the result of those actions. She could only look on with shock as Lady Brazil collapsed and the crowd reacted. "What…..No, all I did was take off the mask." The speedster stated, in part reassuring herself. "I did not hit her or anything." Luckily Graft seemed to be able to sway the crowd somewhat and was making sure the other heroine was alright. Velocity took a brief moment to study the mask she had removed, looking for any sigh of why removing it might have had that result, before passing it on to Foreshadow to examine.
