  1. Yeah, that is a miss.
  2. There is only one drone on La Puma (at the moment), so he takes it down with the mental blast.
  3. Yes it will, and, it auto hits and will take one out, as a minion, it cannot beat the save DC!
  4. Okay, so you will fly past Parker and all the others to attack the two to the south, which both go down and then loop back to go past everyone again to get near Parker
  5. GM As Neko’s massive illusion stomped into view, all but one of the Omegadrones hovering in the are nearby immediately turned toward the illusionary threat. Before they could act, Jotunn’s ice blast struck the one that had not been fooled by the illusion, trapping it in ice and causing it to crash to the ground, unharmed but immobilized. The other five Omegadrones flew towards the illusionary giant Crimson Katana, firing blast of energy from their power spears as they went. However, one of the armored figures appeared not to be fooled by the illusion, and instead aiming its spear down at where La Puma Negra was crouched behind a car. A blast of energy shot out at the teen, who nimbly dodged as aside, as a small hole was blasted in the pavement where she had just been. Suddenly, a fast moving open transport came flying overhead, a dozen more Omegadrones disembarking into the air. Ten of the new arrivals immediately went to attack the illusionary giant Crimson Katana. However, two were apparently not fooled by the illusion, swooping down towards the group of teens, police and Force Ops members. One fired a blast of energy at La Puma Negra, who easily dodged aside as it blasted a whole in the pavement. The other similarly shot at Neko, who also was able to dodge aside, a chunk of the wall she had been standing next to being blasted out.
  6. Okay, had made rolls for the six Omegadrones currently there, we will say Jotunn just paralyzed the one that would have made its save, so those five fly off to attack the illusion. A fast moving transport flies by and drops off another dozen Omegadrones: only two make their saves, to the other ten go to attack the illusion. The two remaining are attacking La Puma and Neko: La Puma: 12 Neko: 18 So both miss. @Dracostern It is Daniel's turn, only two Omegadrones currently attacking the group (they are up in the air), he should also make his Will save against Neko's Illusion (DC 18)
  7. Okay, it gets a 26 on the toughness save but a 17 on the fort save, so is paralyzed!
  8. (to Rocket ) As mentioned in Discord, that is good enough!
  9. Okay, with that roll, he is able to identify the power for the weapon systems and propulsion, also able to find power for internal lifts between decks.
  10. Velocity Inside engineering, the armed troopers all momentarily freeze, uncertain what to do given Patriot's threats. Meanwhile, most of the technicians and engineers run for exits or take cover where they can. In the hanger, a dozen troopers try to track Velocity's path, opening fire and sending a dozen energy blasts all over the hanger trying to hit the speedster. Another group opens fire toward the heroes in the middle of the hanger, two hitting Moon-Moth in the air and another two hitting Artificer as more moved into position to begin firing at the heroes. Velocity turned toward the group of alien enemies massed at one end of the hanger, accelerating as the entire area at the end became a blur of yellow as dozens of unconscious aliens went flying in all directions almost at once. When the yellow blur finally cleared, the area was almost completely clear of any enemies. One damaged mecha was still on its feet, with a more heavily damaged one lying on the ground. One of the Boran’s was lying on the ground, but not quite out of the fight. As she continued moving through the hanger, the yellow clad speedster began vibrating so fast she became insubstantial as she tried to draw fire from the remaining massed troops.
  11. A dozen troopers fire at Velocity as she runs around, all miss. Five shoot at Moon-Moth, with two hitting, that is two DC 20 toughness saves @Exaccus Gaian Knight and Vor'an are in melee, so another five shot at Artificer: two hitting him as well, so two DC20 toughness saves @Dr Archeville That brings up Round Two 67 Velocity 3 HP (bruised) 29 [PLACEHOLDER] 26 Ghost 5 HP (Unharmed) 21 Hounds (many) 20 Boran Lieutenants (4 in hanger) 20 Hunters (10 in hanger, 1 engaging Gaian bruised) 18 [PLACEHOLDER] 18 Gaian Knight 3 HP (bruise) 17 Tough Aliens (many) 16 Galvanic 3 HP (Unharmed) 14 Justicar Vor’an (Unharmed) 13 Moon-Moth 3 HP (Unharmed) 13 [PLACEHOLDER] 13 Traveller 1 HP (Unharmed) 13 [PLACEHOLDER] 12 [PLACEHOLDER] 10 Artificer 2 HP (Unharmed) 9 [PLACEHOLDER] 7 Patriot II 2 HP (Unharmed) 5 Troopers (many) Velocity will attack another area of the massed bad guys this time trying to hit all of the (including three Hunters, Hounds and a Boran Lt), so she needs an attack roll. Will full power attack (-5 atk/+5 dam), and get a 16, boo, not good enough for most of the tough opponents, so will spend a HP to reroll: 33, so, for those tough targets, that is a DC 30 toughness save. Hunters: 15, 24, 17, so one out and one bruised and dazed and one staggered and dazed. Hounds (Telepaths): all out Hounds (Telekinetic): 24, 15, 25 one out, two bruised and dazed. (secondary damage from knockback: DC 27: 14 and 8 so one out the other now staggered as well) Boran Lt: 20 staggered and dazed. And lots of troopers go down. Six of the minion Borans/other larger aliens: all go down At the end of her turn, she will change her array so she is able to go insubstantial. With the bad guy off screen still for the moment, it is Ghost turn @RocketLord
  12. GM Eclipse was able to reach the plaza once again, using a stone fountain in the center as cover as she looked to the south and the approaching troopers. Up in the air to the north, the young Star Khan watched the dropship land to retrieve the injured justicar with a frown. However, while the Hunters were not a particular threat to him, if left unchecked they could be to the Thuarians located in the town. Turning his attention to the Hunters once more, he saw the massive form of Rock moving out of the town to intercept the Hunter that had advanced the furthest. So, Star Khan again fired a blast of energy at the Hunter he had damaged before, striking it solidly and once again knocking it to the ground. At least for the moment.
  13. Star Khan will keep trying to work on the injured Hunter, hitting this time with a 28, DC 29 toughness save: 24 so another bruised and dazed. @Gizmo Back to Rock, I will say that you are in position to be able to charge the uninjured Hunter if you like.
  14. GM Shift's blows sent the two Legion duplicates flying backward, the two disappearing as they went unconscious. Over behind the overturned transport, Visor climbed back up to his feet as he looked up at Nightscale in his full dragon form. "We need to try to get clear." He shouted out as he unleased a powerful energy blast from his visor that struck the dragon dead center. Over next to the surprised Multi-Girl, one of the Legion duplicates tried to pull her staff free from the grip of the tall armored figure that had just dropped out of nowhere. "Who the hell are you?" "I am Kinarr Khan, the new Star Khan and ruler of the Stellar Khanate." The figure stated as he shoved the duplicate’s staff back to slam into her and send her flying backward to disappear as well as she went unconscious. The young Star Khan then took a step as he tried to backhand one of the Legion fighting Stormcrow, but she managed to just duck underneath the attack at the last minute. But even as some of the opponents started to go down, a new figure climbed out of the back of the overturned transport, a redheaded woman in an orange jumpsuit. "Finally free!" She called out as she looked about the scene and focused on Nightscale. "And plenty of heroes to start with!" The woman’s eyes flared with psychic energy as she reached her left hand up and flames seemed to wreath it as Nightscale felt a searing burning pain in his mind from the psychic assault. The woman then glanced up to where Shadowborne stood on top of the overturned transport. "And you as well." She added as she brought up her right hand which also flared with psychic flames as Shadowborne similarly felt the burning pain of the psychic attack.
  15. Visor will get up and fire an energy beam up at Nightscale: 30 (which is a critical due to Improved Critical). That is a DC 31 toughness save for Nightscale. @Nerdzul Star Khan will attack the Legion he just stopped from hitting Multi-Girl: 22 which hits That is a DC 29 toughness save for the Legion: 12 she is out (disappearing) He will use Takedown Attack to attack one of the ones on Stormcrow: 18, which just misses And, a new villain exits the back of the overturned transport in an orange prison jumpsuit, Mindfire. She will make a mental attack on Nightscale @Nerdzul(DC26 Will save (possibly with a -1 if you get a bruise from Visor’s attack)) and surge to do the same on Shadowborne @Kaede Kimura (who gets a HP for the surge, DC26 Will save, you have a -1 on the save due to your bruise) New Initiative order Round Two 26 Paper 3 HP (unharmed) 25 Stormcrow 6 HP (unharmed) 19 Shadowborne 4 HP (bruised) 18 Ghule 2 HP (injured 2, dazed) 16 Sureshot (unharmed) 16 Multi-Girl 2 HP (bruised) 15 Legion (unharmed x6 / one near MG/SC bruised) 13 Shift 3 HP (injured) 10 Visor (bruised, prone) 10 Star Khan (unharmed) 10 Mindfire (unharmed) 9 Nightscale 4 HP (unharmed) 6 Big Horn (unharmed) @Nerdzul Nightscale is up, depending on the outcome of those toughness saves.
  16. Another bad roll, 15, so that one is down as well.
  17. They get a 14, so we will just call that a KO (they disappear when knocked out).
  18. @Kaede Kimura They are right on top of Spaceman and the cop he was protecting, you cannot fly over them without also hitting Spaceman and the cop. The only two near each other not in melee combat with someone are the two walkers to the south.
  19. Multi-Girl gets a 17 Realized she already has her duplicate active as a backup singer, the duplicate got a 23 for her initiative.
  20. Okay, even with some bonus due to number, none of the troopers make their checks, so will not be able to act this round.
  21. @Dr Archeville Back to Dok's turn!
  22. GM Doktor Archeville's attack seemed to catch the Grue Arcane off guard as it struck all of them, knocking several out while injuring the others, including dazing a few. Starshot quickly followed up with an overheated plasma burst, catching three of the arcane in its path, putting one down and injuring and dazing the other two. Two of the shapeshifted arcane then acted, one rushing towards Kinarr on its multiple legs, slashing at the Star Khan with its blade like forelegs, however Kinarr dodged aside, lifting up into the air slightly as he did. Glancing over to see one closing on Doctor Archeville, the young Star Khan flew over to place himself between the human and the Grue, the bladed hands coming down on him, but scrapping harmlessly off his power armor. Meanwhile, two of the other Grue focused their gaze on Starshot, this time not launching arcane magics at him, but reaching out with their telepathy. The hunter felt the two alien minds clawing at his, trying to latch themselves into his head…. After withstanding the attack from the shapeshifted Grue, Star Khan delivered a powerful blow that sent the shapeshifted form flying backwards dozens of feet to strike the wall of the chamber before the Grue returned to its normal robed form and fell to the ground unconscious.
  23. Okay, one makes the reflex check, so a DC 20 and two DC 26 saves (first is DC 20 shapeshifted, other two are DC 26): 14, 11, 19 So, first and third pick up another bruise and are dazed, the second is out. The two shapeshifted Grue Arcane are moving into melee, one with Star Khan, one with Dok: 14, 26; Star Khan will Interpose for Dok, taking the hit with no effect due to Impervious. The other two Grue Arcane are going to try to use Mind Reading on Starshot and initiate a mental grapple: 28 and 14, so Starshot has a Will save vs a 28 and 14 to resist @Supercape for each he fails, he has another DC 21 Will save vs damage from the mental grapple Star Kahn will punch the shapeshifted arcane that attacked Dok: 20, so a DC 29 toughness save: 10, that one is out.
  24. GM After striking the side of the dropship, the armored form of the Justicar plummeted down to the rocky surface of the area north of the town. The transport looped around after the impact, before setting down nearby, several crew members exited to check on their leader. Meanwhile, the two Hunter mechs continued to move forward, both shooting up at the young Star Khan. While both managed to hit this time, both blasts glanced harmlessly off his power armor. To the south of town, the Khanate troopers continued moving forward, the ten heading in Eclipse's direction spreading out as they moved quickly to try to close the distance. Those headed toward plaza also moved quickly, under continued fire from Thuarians, with two being hit, one stumbling slightly and falling behind.
  25. The Hunter mechs are moving forward and firing up at the Khan, this time both hit, but they glance off his Impervious. The 10 troopers heading towards Eclipse are spreading out and double-moving, so have closed to about 200' at this point, the 9 heading toward the center of town also double move, also about 200' from there now. The transport touches down near where the Justicar fell after hitting it and some of the crew heads out to where he is. Round Four 21 Thuarian Guards (12 unharmed) 19 Eclipse 2 HP (unharmed) 14 Star Khan (unharmed) 14 Rock 0 HP (unharmed) 13 Dropship Pilot (unharmed) (dropship injured 2) 13 Dropship gunner (unharmed) 9 Rogue Khanate Hunters (1 unharmed, 1 bruised) 8 Rogue Khanate Troopers (19: 10 moving towards Eclipse, 9 moving towards center of town (one bruised)) The guards keep shooting at the ones advancing towards the plaza, two hitting again. 17 and 14, so both pick up a bruise (and one is dazed). Back to Eclipse @Fox
