Giang watched as Harry and Freddy made their exit, relieved that the pair had proven to be generally good hearted individuals who had been duped by her father's agents. The teen glanced down at the business card Harry had given her for a brief moment before putting it into a pocket. While she doubted she would ever have need of their services, she was quickly learning that things could change quickly. As Myrmidon finally spoke up, she looked over at her classmate, nodding slightly. "Headmaster Summers is fully aware of my past and family connections, but you are right, I do need to inform him about this incident." Giang paused a moment before adding, "seeing as you have been at least somewhat dragged into my problems, I believe it is only fair that you know what this was all about. Though, that explanation would be best away from here." The Asian teen nodded as John indicated the direction of where he had parked his motorcycle, indicating she should start to make her way there. As the clone hero stopped and commented his regret about their outing being disrupted, Giang gave a small nod. "I am sorry it was interrupted as well. Given this interruption, this is likely the last public event tied with my past and culture that I will likely attend for the foreseeable future."

I agree that Defiant did not quite fit for the figurehead/symbolic leader of the old group. Champion does sound better. I also like the idea of him being generally from smaller English town, as opposed to Headcase being from larger, far more urbanized London. y Dderwen sounds good for the "Oak" guy, as do the other thoughts regarding him and Lucy. One comment I have been meaning to make regarding when Ari talked about y Dderwen getting along well with Headcase…that does not quite seem to fit to me. Firstly, Headcase is/was pretty heavily involved with the Powers Project, in particular the psi sub-program that was a part of it, and it the Project does not sit well with y Dderwen, Headcase's involvement probably does not either. Also, SC has talked about Headcase as being somewhat secretive and arrogant, sort of a spymaster type of personality. I don’t see that meshing well with y Dderwen's personality as it has been discussed thus far either.

"I am right there with you with getting a headache from thinking about all the possibilities that can exist with alternate timelines." Megan replied with a small smile. When Stesha mentioned her schooling and asked about her plans for the future, the younger woman gave a small shrug. "Not really sure I have more schooling than anyone else my age really, though I have had opportunities to go to really good schools, but I am still just finishing my bachelors." "As for what I plan to do with it, well, that is a bit more difficult to answer. In a lot of ways, much of what I have done in my schooling has been a result of me keeping my powers a secret from my parents and having to very academically accomplished older siblings making me feel there was something I needed to live up to." "Right now I am in the middle of an internship with Summit Transnational, one of the more prestigious internships in my area of study. They might offer me a job when the internship is over and I graduate, but I not entirely certain I will take it. While I enjoy the work and the people I work with, the hours are just too insane, least, not without using my powers in a way that would raise too many questions. It would probably be a lot harder to be active as Velocity if I took the position, and, I don't really need the money."

Ari, some of that about Mr Oak seems counter to what SC has already said about him.

I do believe the answer to number 4 is Mon-el.

Megan gave a small smile at Stesha's suggestion about her and Robert perhaps needing a bit more time to sort things out. "Sadly my powers are not particularly conducive to patience, or at least what most people would consider patience. But, I do want to be a bit cautious about things." She then nodded when Stesha mentioned having a report on file about Collapse. "Yeah, I made sure to put together a report about both the child and the Stopwatch after Fenris and I delivered the watch to Daedalus. I had to explain most of this to him so he could understand what the watch was and what to try to look for in his examinations."

Velocity forced herself to remain at a more normal speed as she followed along after Merge, only occasionally stopping for a moment before catching back up in a blur of motion. When they found their way blocked by two of Madame Marvelous' henchmen, the speedster simply looked coolly at the pair before she responded to the question from the smaller one. "Well, this is Merge Trois, and I'm Velocity." From all initial appearances, the smaller one calling herself Mini Marvelous seemed relatively harmless. But Velocity knew enough to not count on that actually being the case. Crimson Crush's abilities seemed rather obvious and Velocity had experience dealing with muscle bound types though it was also possible she had a trick or two up her sleeve as well.

Cape, normally that would hit Tsunami, but her last action was a move and Total Defense action, which puts her defense above 20.

Megan grinned slightly as Stesha talked about when she had finally told her family about her powers and heroing. "Yeah, I still have not worked up the nerve to tell my parents or siblings. As I started all this while still a teenager, not telling them had more to do with not wanting them to try and stop me if they knew than anything else. Now it is just become easier to continue things as they have been." "As for things with Robert, my secret identity wasn't something I choose to tell him, it was more something he learned because of the device." Megan responded. "And I told him about our possible son while the device was influencing him. The news certainly gave him a bit of pause, but he quickly moved past that to try to convince me that it did not matter and was not anything we could be certain of. But seeing that the device appears to be all about trying to ensure that son is born, that response was not too surprising." "Once he seemed to be free of the device's control, he did not really mention the possible son, but certain stated he still believed he loved me and wanted to be with me again. It certainly did not seem he was bothered by the fact I was a superhero, but that could just be part of having a stiff upper lip and all that." Megan gave a small shrug. "While he was certainly acting like himself once more, I was not one hundred percent sure he was completely free of the device's influence just yet. It could well be the feelings he talked about were just some residual effect. A little bit of time has passed now, so I guess I will learn if anything has changed about his feelings."

Certainly not spectacular Ari. I will deal with this in a bit, want to let everyone get another post in with the initial interaction.

Tsunami gave Warp a small nod as the other teen commented on earlier incident of the evening. "Perhaps. Though I would imagine you and Heraldo would be rather disappointed if that were to be the case." She replied, managing a small smile. Though the Asian teen felt apprehensive about being away from the school, she was enjoying the opportunity to be out in the cool night air somewhere other than on the school grounds. Giang approached the impromptu crime fighting that Kat and Subito had coaxed her into joining with her usual stoic demeanor. While she appreciated that such activities provided valuable practical experience, she did not view it as therapeutic. Giang did however enjoy spending the time with her friends, and appreciated their concern for her, even if she felt it was somewhat unnecessary. As Warp teleported the two of them to another rooftop near where Heraldo and Net Fly were flying, Giang looked off to scan the area around her, taking the time to look for anything out of the ordinary before Warp moved them onward. "Nothing more so far." She replied to Net Fly's question.

GM Wednesday, April 17, 2013 10:20 PM A thick curtain of cloud hung over Freedom City, concealing the moon behind them. The lack of moonlight made the streets of Southside even darker than normal, a stark contrast to the bright lights of downtown Freedom City across the black waters of the South River. For a group of high school students from nearby Claremont Academy, the moonless night made for a perfect opportunity to get out and patrol for crime. Tonight it was a group of four such students who were flying through the dark skies, or teleporting along the shadowy rooftops, of a rundown neighborhood of Southside near the Boardwalk. Tonight's patrol had been arranged by two of the teenagers, Subito Sondo , also known as El Heraldo, and Katharine (Kat) Shade (Warp). They were accompanied by two of their other classmates, Serge Explinker (Net Fly) and Giang Trang (Tsunami). It had taken Subito and Kat a fair amount of work to convince Giang to agree to join the patrol tonight. Ever since early February, the Asian teen had been extremely reluctant to leave school grounds. The rumors had circulated around the school that she and John Smith (Myrmidon) had been attacked by a Chinese sorcerer and a group of martial artists at the Chinese New Year celebration in Freedom City's Chinatown, though Giang did not discuss much about the incident. But in the end she had relented to their pressure, and was now accompanying Kat, who was teleporting the pair from rooftop to rooftop, following along after Subito and Serge, both of whom were flying. So far, the evening had been relatively uneventful, with the four having only thus far stopped a couple of gang members who had been trying to steal a car.

Given all the confussion (and poor lighting), that is not quite good enough for Mess to spot Lucy and/or Crimson Tiger.

Revenant quickly closed with the new pair of gun totting thugs. Her first punch connected solidly under the chin of the lead thug, knocking him backward and into a couple of spectators who were also knocked to the ground. She was able to follow up with an elbow to the second thug, knocking him to the side and unconscious as well. Crimson Tiger was right behind Revenant, quickly knocking the two bookies into unconsciousness as well. The appearance of the costumed heroine, as well as the quick work Revenant had made of the two armed thugs, served to cause the nearby panicked spectators to freeze in fear for a few moments, uncertain whether they should try to make a run for it or just surrender. On the other raised areas, the spectators were not beginning to scatter in panic. Some made their way towards the entrance they had used, while others rushed off in other directions, hoping to find some other exit. Down below, Freddy found he was not simply going to be able to stick with the other fighters. Some of those who had managed to quickly gather their stuff were heading up the stairs to where the crowd of spectators was to try to find an exit. Still others were rushing off in all directions to look for other ways out. A few others had started off in the direction Hector had gone. Meanwhile, Harry had caught back up with Hector and his bodyguards, as they made their way along the dark lower level of the old factory. The group made their way over to another door which lead to a set of stairs, with Hector and his men taking the ones that went down, into the basement of the building.

"Well, criminals aren't just going to wait for us to come arrest them..usually." Velocity said with a small grin. "So no sense in waiting any longer." "I figure we will head over to 40th, then generally follow that North, zig-zaging long other blocks as we go, then come back down 52nd if we don’t find anything." She added. With the general plan set, the speedster was then off, zipping down the side of the theater and onto the street, heading off down the street to the east. The speedster only went a couple of blocks before turning north at an intersection. After a couple more blocks, she turned east again, repeating the process as she worked her way over towards the Liberty Dome, continuing on past that in the same pattern towards 40th Avenue. Velocity could easily have reached 40th Avenue in a moment, but moving as fast as she could did not really serve the purpose of patrolling. So, there were quick bursts of speed, followed by points where she slowed down some, and even occasional stops for a short while ever dozen blocks or so, allowing her and Warp to keep in contact and to just wait in case there was anything taking place in the area.

Satisfied that Kazra would not try to attack the Serpent Person once more, Giang focused back on listening to what the creature had to say. When it finally finished and dismissed them, the Asian teen started out of the cell block. When her fellow students had left as well, she looked at them as she began. "From what that one had to say, it sounds as if our object should be trying to locate this Serpent Sceptre of Yig. If we can take it from them, or destroy it, then the Serpent Men should lose control over the army of dinosaurs they have gathered."

When the large creature flew down to attack the dome protecting the UNISON survey team, Velocity saw her chance to try to help deal with it. Fleur managed to entrap the Simurgh in some of her plants. Turning sharply, the yellow clad speedster quickly closed the distance back over to where Gaian Knight had landed the flying platform. *CRACK* Her fist shot out at supersonic speeds as she passed the Simurgh. *WHAM* The punch landed solidly, but the massive creature easily withstood the attack. Velocity continued on past, moving a few hundred feet away as she looped back around, ready to continue trying to drive the Simurgh away.

Megan listened as Stesha made the argument for why she should just not let the concerns about Collapse be the sole reason for staying away from Robert. While the young speedster was still somewhat uncertain, she had to admit that Stesha made some good points. She then managed a smile as Stesha mentioned the need to stop hiding things from Robert if Megan choose to renew their relationship. "Well, that at least is something that is not an issue anymore." She replied. "Following this whole incident with the watch in Sweden and Switzerland a couple of weeks ago, Robert now knows that I am Velocity. I also told him all about this possible future son of ours, when I was trying to convince him to give up the watch."

Will continue with the same, -2 atk/+2 Def (to +17). Will try to punch Coppertop out with a 23. If that hits, another DC 28 toughness save.

"Yes, from what I was told, the theory on this watch is that it does exist in multiple timelines at the same time." Velocity confirmed as Supercape discussed the likely difficulties in even trying to destroy it. When he asked his question, the speedster was taken by surprise for a moment. "Me? Well, I am not sure that is the best idea. I mean, given my connection to things, I would probably be one of the first people anyone from the future would consider when looking for the watch. I am also somewhat afraid that it might somehow capture some of my DNA, to potentially be used later to create my potential son." "When Robert was under the influence of the watch, and I rebuffed his attempts to convince me that we should renew our relationship, he began talking about using my DNA to create our child. He even tried to touch me with the watch just before I knocked him out." She then paused a moment before going on. "As for whether I will see him again...well, I was sort of hoping that between you and Daedalus I might be able to learn what the risks of doing that might be. Whether this potential son could only be created when there is the combination of me, Robert and the watch. Or whether I should just assume the worst is likely and avoid any more contact with Robert. At the moment, I am doing the later."

Okay, I put the visualization of what we have so far up in the media section. It can be seen (thought it looks a bit squished). I included things that have currently only been mentioned as possible, but not finalized, just to add more to it. As you can see, such a map can get rather complex quickly. (which is the goal!)

Okay, based on what SC mentioned above, I am adding Susan Farrington, Synapse’s older sister. Was also part of the project to create more supers, with Headcase inducing psionic powers in her as well. Unfortunately, things did not work out as well with Susan, who was eventually driven insane and has since been institutionalized. I am thinking that what happened with Susan was a large part of what led Synapse to become so rebellious against her family. I was hoping to include a visual example of the relationship map, but when I attached it, I was not able to view it
