  1. Okay, getting the OOC done, Archer is going to full power attack an Omegadrone and take 10 to hit one. DC 25 toughness save: 26, just makes it!
  2. @Dr Archeville Dok, Artificer is up next!
  3. It gets a 22, so a bit of damage and inoperable for a round (ie dazed)
  4. GM Starshot's grenade went off in the center of the robe figures, creating a cloud of noxious smoke that caused the figures to cough and start to move away from the cloud. Most seemed only minimally affected, though at least one seemed sickened. Once they were clear of the cloud, five of the figures began to change, their forms shifting from the robed forms to a large arachnid like species with multiple legs with sharp claws at their tips. The five let out a roar as they readied maneuvered around the cavern, a few climbing up not the walls and ceiling. The other six robed figures spread out in the chamber as well, each quickly chanting and unleashing arcane blasts at the three figures that had disrupted their gathering. Two blasts were directed at Doktor Archeville, with one striking the Earth scientist. The young Star-Khan was also the target of two attacks, one missing him while the other struck his armor. However, the blast deflected harmlessly off the Khan’s armor, blasting a small hole in the rock of the ground at his feet. Two blasts flew over Starshot's head, one coming a bit closer than he might like. "Grue!" Star Khan stated as he watched the five robed figures shapeshift. He then focused on one of the robed figures that had attacked him, firing a blast of energy from his gauntlets, but the figure just avoided the attack.
  5. Okay, the 11 lower PL arcane have DC 15 reflex saves: 5 succeed, 6 fail Fort saves: First five are with the lower DC 12 other 6 are the normal DC 15: only 1 fails and is sickened. The lead arcane: DC 15 reflex check: 28, so DC 12 fort save: 29 so passes as well. So the arcane move out of the cloud. Five are going to shapeshift into the form of an arachnid like alien animal. The other six are going to attack (2 on each of you and Star Khan (the sicked one going after Dok): Two attacking Dok: 17 and 24 so one hit, a DC 23 toughness save for Dok @Dr Archeville Two attacking Star-Khan: 26 and 15, one hit, but it does not beat his Impervious. Two attacks Starshot (his defense is up to +16 as he is prone): 25 and 13 so both miss. Star-Shot will blast one of the arcane, 16, which is a miss. @Dr Archeville Dok is then up!
  6. Sri Kath'lana The group gathered in the area inside the asteroid where the propulsion unit was located. A further search of the space revealed a nearby power cell, which was connected to the propulsion unit by heavy cables. The power cell appeared to be drained, so the propulsion unit was currently powered down and inactive. "While someone put this here, it is not clear when it was done." Kath'lana indicated as she looked at the equipment. As he studied the equipment, Cavalier noted that while the propulsion unit seemed archaic and likely old, the power cell was of a much more modern design.
  7. GM The heavy fighter used as a impromptu projectile by Moon-Moth struck the telepathic Hound that had targeted Velocity, sending the being sprawling to the deck unconscious. The spacecraft also tumbled toward the nearby telekinetic Hound, who was just able to roll to one side and was only clipped by the projectile, seemingly unharmed. The makeshift missile knocked aside dozens of troopers, clipping one of the Hunters for seemingly little effect before finally striking a second Hunter, casing it to stumble slightly, but otherwise remain on its feet. When it finally came to a halt, there was a wide path of unconscious troopers left in its wake.
  8. Okay, the Hounds that targeted Velocity are too far away, but you can get the two that targeted you and Gaian, plus the Hunter, and some troopers. Okay, misread what you meant there (was clearer in your IC post), so yeah, easily able to target the one that went after Velocity, so the below applies to that one, also, that will allow you to hit a second Hunter and more troopers. Hounds: Reflex save DC 22: 17 and 26, so one takes half effect of the attack; Toughness saves (first is DC 27, second is DC 21): 6 (massive fail) and 21 (the Telekinetic Hound just makes it). Hunter: Reflex save: 25, so DC 21 toughness save: 28 easily passes Second Hunger: Reflex Save: 18, so full DC 27 toughness save: 24, so another Hunter with a bruise. Troopers: only two make their reflex checks and have a chance to beat the lowered DC 21 toughness save: both still fail Just going to double the number of troopers (no extra rolls), so 40 got swept up in that attack. @Tiffany Korta Skipping the off screen bad guy for not, Traveller is up!
  9. We will say you can catch all 6 of them in that, their reflex saves: 26, 12 and 15, so one is half effect., other three 24, 8 and 24 to more half effect. Will save (first one is vs DC19, other two are DC 23): 7, 12, 17 Second half will saves (first two are the DC 19, last is the DC 23): 22, 20 and 21 So, four are down, two still up. Still need the toughness save for Owain!
  10. Okay, taking these in order, @Avenger Assembled Owain's gets a 16, so is down. @MoonSimply Carmen's gets a 19, so is also down. Those were the last two currently on the ground after Bernadette's attacks, and they were spaced out for a Takedown attack. There are 6 left in the current area, will get to Archer's action after your IC posts.
  11. Multi-Girl "Almost immediately after we arrived in this other timeline, we encountered some members o' FORCE Ops. We were just fingurin' out where we were when the invasion started. There was no where ta run ta, so we tried ta help out." Bernadette replied, as she allowed herself to just relax as she rested against Charlie. Her emotions were still something of a whirlwind inside her, but Charlie was helping to provide something of a calming presence. But even as she was feeling a bit more relaxed, she also had a feeling of exhaustion that was starting to catch up with her. "Charlie….I don' want ta pull ya away from whatever your workin' on, but I’m exhausted….an' I don' feel like bein' alone right now." The redhead said quietly.
  12. Tsunami Giang watched as a slim female wearing a costume that clearly marked her as part of the extensive Raven related heroes. Giang knew the second Raven fairly well, having been found on the streets of Singapore by Callie Summers after Giang had fled her father's house once she had learned of his involvement in Dr. Sin's criminal empire. They had stayed in touch since Giang had graduated Claremont, and after taking over from her father as Headmistress, Callie had asked Giang to help mentor a few students in the past. The large figure must be Mr. Silk, who was surprisingly quick and agile for someone so large. She watched as Silk took a hit from the other young woman and then quickly responded with a strike of his own. Seeing how fast Silk was and how he moved, Giang was unsure she could accurately target him with any ranged attack while he was still in melee. So, the Asian young woman surrounded herself with a shimmering layer of water that seemed to continuously flow over her. She then dropped down through the trap door toward the melee. "And someone talks too much." She simply commented as she landed near Silk, driving a knee towards his midsection, but even as he braced for that, Giang launched her actual intended attack, a technique of Voivnam, a backfist that she swung reversely into the side of Silk's temple. The backfist struck solidly, catching Silk off guard and sending him down to the floor, seemingly out cold. Giang took a step backward, still in a ready stance just in case it was some ruse. Glancing over at the other young woman, she asked in Cantonese, "are you alright?"
  13. Tsunami will activate her Forcefield and attack in melee (give the -4 to shoot into melee). She gets a very average 25, so I will HP for a reroll: this time a 30, so DC 22 toughness save.
  14. GM Back in the hanger of the cruiser, Justicar Vor'an brought his left hand back to grip his power pike after deflecting an attack away from Artificer. The end of the pike glowed with energy as Vor'an slashed it at the slightly taller Boran, the blow striking solidly on the large figure’s armored torso. However, as with the rock attack from Gaian Knight, the Boran managed to withstand the Justicar's attack, only stepping backwards with one foot to steady itself as it brought its large sword back up to continue the fight.
  15. As mentioned in Discord, the gun rolled a 20, so it is badly damaged an inoperable for the rest of the battle. Justicar Vor'an will attack the Boran LT, getting a 21. DC 25 toughness save, 27 (second hit this Boran has taken for no damage). @Exaccus We are on to Moon-Moth Putting back up the initiative to keep it handy: Round One 67 Velocity 3 HP (bruised) 29 [PLACEHOLDER] 26 Ghost 5 HP (Unharmed) 21 Hounds (many) 20 Boran Lieutenants (4 in hanger) 20 Hunters (10 in hanger, 1 engaging Gaian bruised) 18 [PLACEHOLDER] 18 Gaian Knight 3 HP (bruised) 17 Tough Aliens (many) 16 Galvanic 3 HP (Unharmed) 14 Justicar Vor’an (Unharmed) >>13 Moon-Moth 3 HP (Unharmed) 13 [PLACEHOLDER] 13 Traveller 1 HP (Unharmed) 13 [PLACEHOLDER] 12 [PLACEHOLDER] 10 Artificer 2 HP (Unharmed) 9 [PLACEHOLDER] 7 Patriot II 2 HP (Unharmed) 5 Troopers (many)
  16. Timeout is going to make another Kn: Technology check as he spends a bit of time rapidly (thanks to Quickness 6) taking 20 to examine (from a distance) the stuff in the lab. He gets a 30 on the Kn: Technology check!
  17. Multi-Girl Starshine’s beam of hard light energy slammed into one of the flying Omegadrones, but the hulking armored figure took the blast with seemingly minimal effect as it turned its head in her direction. Bernadette was the next to move, rushing forward a half dozen steps before leaping into the air and landing in the middle of the area where the police and SWAT were trying to defend. Rising quickly up from her crouch, the redhead started towards a Omegadrone that was getting ready to stab SWAT team member. As she went, a dozen other Bernadettes suddenly popped into existence, all rushing in different directions to engage other Omegadrones. The Irish teen and her duplicates unleashed a flurry of punches and kicks, which slammed into the Omegadrones with tremendous force. In just a few moments, ten of the armored figures were down, as Bernadette cleared the immediate area round the police, who seemed rather shocked at the sudden appearance of more than a dozen eighteen year old redheads. Meanwhile, Bernadette’s other duplicate ran over to an Omegadrone that was standing some distance away on the sidewalk and delivered an elbow smash to the side of its head. The armored figure was sent sprawling, also taken out of the fight.
  18. Okay, Multi-Girl is going to leap into the middle of things and unleash her melee area attack by summoning a dozen of her duplicates. She will power attack -2 atk/+2 damage. Taking 10 to hit, that is DC 29 toughness saves, which the Omegadrones cannot pass. That will put down half the Omegadrones in the area (so 10 left) Her duplicate will run up and attack another, taking 10 to hit, DC 27 toughness save, it only gets a 10, so another down (9 8 left in the immediate area). *edit* changed number left, as I forgot El Gato took one down @Avenger Assembled Copper Knight is up!
  19. Your selling yourself short, your blast is DC 23 toughness save now. But, it gets a 24 on its save a just makes it.
  20. Tsunami gets a 20 for her initiative check
  21. Okay, keeping this OOC for Part 2 @Electra @Poncho @MoonSimply @Spacefurry Everyone just give me an idea here where your PCs are for the start (as my post indicates, Star Khan and Paradigm are waiting out in the open). Then we will get this fight started.
  22. Kingston Freedom City, New Jersey Wednesday, February 14, 2024, 5:25 PM After the decision had been made to move to the ruins of Kingston to await the arrival of the Boran Dovox, also known as Sovereign, the heroes that had delt with the minor rampage of Explodo the Great moved to a location not far from the Doomforge. Paradigm and Star Khan flew to the new location, to ensure that Dovox's assault transport would detect them and not start searching for the Star Khan. Fleur provided transportation for the other heroes. Paradigm and Star Khan stood out in a ruined parking lot, a few burned out husks of cars scattered about and half destroyed buildings nearby. Neither seemed particularly nervous as Paradigm was scanning the sky. "I see the transport." She stated after a few moments. "It appears to be headed directly for us." Star Khan had been alternating between scanning the sky as well and looking over at Paradigm. When she indicated she had spotted the transport, he looked back to the sky before looking about the barren landscape around them for a moment. It was not long after that the transport came roaring into view, flying down low towards the ruins of Kingston. As it approached the area where Star Khan stood beside Paradigm, it veered to the right and started to circle the area. As it passed to the right, a large, circular object dropped out, rockets slowing its descent as it landed a short distance away. A large, nearly eight foot tall mech dropped down next to the circular object, which opened up to reveal dozens of armed aliens in armor that began to move out away from the drop pod. With them were three large reptilian aliens with red scales and tusks, and two normal sized aliens dressed in black body suits. The transport continued to circle around, another drop pod dropping down to the left of where Star Khan and Paradigm were standing, along with another mech. A group of similar forces deployed from the second pod as well. The transport then flew over to the area out in front of Paradigm and Star Khan, almost landing as five figures jumped out of the back and the transport lifted back up into the sky. Leading the group was another of the red skinned reptilian aliens, standing well over seven feet tall. He was dressed in ornate armor and held a large, glaive like weapon in one hand. Walking just behind him, on either side were two tall figures dressed in black, teal and white armor, which had a small white eight pointed starburst in the center of the chest plate. The armor had a black and teal hood, and a full armored face mask with black visor. Each carried a long pike, the tip of which crackled with energy. Fleur recognized the armor from Freedom League briefs about Khanate Justicars. Just behind them were two more of the large tusked aliens, each carrying large swords. Star Khan looked from side to side a moment before looking back at the group approaching from the front. "Hunters, hounds and traitors." He stated simply as he looked at the two armored figures. "Justicar Wryy, Justicar Har’al, you would do well to set down your weapons and surrender, I may be willing to forgive you." "Kinarr Khan! I am Prince Dovox, the Sovereign!" The large tusked alien in the front of the group called out loudly as he came to halt. "You are not worthy to lead the Stellar Khanate, so I am here to take your head, and your throne!" He added, pointing his glaive at the young Star Khan. He then turned to look at Paradigm. "Praetorian, you have no business here, step aside." He snarled. "Neither do the Terrans." He added, glancing about at the others. "That is where you are wrong Dovox." Paradigm stated simply. "The new Star Khan has extended an offer of peace to the Republic and Coalition, so his safety is of great concern to the Praetorians." "But additionally, I have a personal interest here. Kinarr also made a proposal of marriage to me in the council chambers. So, until such time as I either accept or decline, he is my prospective intended." Dovox simply snarled as he gripped his glaive with both hands. "Then you can die together, makes no difference to me."
  23. Well, it got a 9, so you pull its pike away!
  24. Okay, you can Take 10 to auto hit with the attack so, roll 1d20 plus the ranks of Telekinesis (I believe 8?) and I will roll a contested Str check for the Omegadrone.
  25. Well, that would actually be two attacks, as disarm is a standard action, so not something you can do in a single round (at least without a surge, and it is early in the tread to be burning HP for that most likely)
