Yes, we are officially out of combat now
-
ahh, okay, no worries then. Go ahead with you IC post (and like I said, you don't need the All Out Attack for these guys if you want to change that).
-
No, he blows it badly with a natural one (for a 6). So he is bound and helpless.
-
Semi, if you are power attacking, then it would be +10 attack as you shift the 5 from All Out Attack to Power Attack. But, in any event, these guys are minions, so you only need +5 to hit them, so no need to All Out Attack if you don't want to. Either way, they both go down with a 10 and 14 on their toughness saves.
-
Okay, I think we are on Round Nine now, though Jube and Red Lion 1 are the only ones in combat still. Jube's action!
-
GM As the mystically enhanced young man manages to avoid any ill effects from Jubatus' attack, he turns to face the humanoid cheetah, a growl escaping from his throat as he did so. His claws slash out at the speedster hero, who easily avoids what appears to him as a slow moving attack. However, the cat-man does not seem intent on running now, as he stands his ground with the hero. Not too far away, Neospell approached the sole conscious gang member, who was still struggling with his bonds. The young African American raised his pistol, his hand shaking considerably as he tried to hold the weapon steady. But he considers that white clad figures words and then drops the weapon, his face showing a look of defeat. "Me and my bros were getting a supply of weed to sell." He began. "Then these ****ing strung out or whatever Jamaicans show up and start attacking us and our suppliers." He then shook his head when asked if he had a phone on him.

Red Lion 1 attacks Jube, missing even worse with a 8

Robert’s accusations hit Velocity hard, perhaps not physically, but in many ways harder than if he had struck her so. "NO! It wasn't like that!" She began to cry out. "I did lo…" And then the speedster was hit by the stasis of time he had launched at her. The young woman could feel the attack trying to slow her down, stop her altogether. But somehow she resisted it, her power struggling against the effect. And then Robert was gone, moving far faster than Velocity ever had, or at least appearing to. For a brief moment, the speedster looked at the empty space where he had just been. Wondering where he could have gone, her mind racing through possibilities. Can he move across water like I can? Or is he stuck to places he can get to by land? If so, where would he go? Some place associated with us? That could mean that chalet in Switzerland we visited, or Nice, or Paris. Or someplace else? Where did he mention having fond memories of visiting when he was young? But then the speedster was interrupted in her thoughts by the sudden appearance of the armored wolf-like figure of Fenris. Any thought of pursuing Robert right now faded, as Velocity let out a small sigh. "He's gone, faster than I can go. Probably. He took the watch with him." She replied. "We need to find a way to try to track him, find out where he has gone."

From the album: Odds and Ends
The tattoos on Giang's upper back. -
And on to… Round Four: Grey Suit: 38 (2 bruised) Myrmidon: 37 (Unharmed, 3 HP) Tsunami: 28 (Unharmed, 2 HP) FoS group 2 (swords): 25 (4 active) Bloody Mess: 24 (2 bruised, 5 HP) FoS group 6 (swords): 23 (3 active) FoS group 5 (staves): 22 (3 active) Fang Leader: 21 (bruised) FoS group 3 (staves): 10 (4 active) FoS group 1 (staves): 8 (4 active) FoS group 4 (swords): 7 (4 active) The sorcerer has taken his actions, so Myr is up. So, just to be clear about things, Myr has Group 2 on him, two of them directly in melee with him (after charging), so he could takedown attack both if he chooses. The other two are too far away to get to with a takedown attack. The three members of Group 3 are engaging Bloody Mess, along with the Fang Leader over near where John had initially landed on the rooftop. The swordsmen have backed away from Mess, the Fang Leader is in melee with him. The three members of Group 5 are spaced around Giang on another part of the rooftops, with the eight members of Groups 1 and 3 spaced around them. The four members of Group 4 have tried to position themselves between the parts of the roof where John and Mess are and the part where Giang is, but clearly won’t be able to prevent either of them from getting over there if they choose to.
-
GM As the rooftop fight began in earnest, the other armored martial artists began to reposition themselves to assist as needed. The other eight men armed with staves moved over to the section of the rooftops where Giang was fighting the three similarly armed opponents, spacing themselves around the melee to intervene as needed. The four remaining men armed with swords positioned themselves to try block John or Bloody Mess from the area where Giang was. Though given their small number and the amount of space involved, at best they were positioned to join the fight if either of the two moved in that direction. Down below, the man in the grey suit climbed somewhat slowly back to his feet. His once pristine suit was now considerably the worse for wear, dirty and singed in places. He showed signs of being battered and bruised as well, but clearly was not yet out of the fight. Looking back up at the dark rooftops above, the man disappeared once more in a swirl of white smoke and was gone from view.

GM Bloody Mess' powerful right smash caught the armored martial artist right under the chin, knocking him off his feet and sending him flying backward ten feet. The man once again demonstrated his agility, as he flipped over in the air, landing firmly on his feet. Shaking his head a moment, he quickly recovered from the blow, though he clearly had been hurt. But the private investigator barely had time to even savor his little victory, as a trio of armored men wielding swords rushed at him from various directions. The first man to come at him slashed purposely wide with his two butterfly swords, attempting to set up the attack for man following directly behind. As the first skipped away from Mess, the second arrived, leaping into the air and bringing down his two swords, but the pugilist turned private investigator was easily able to side step the attack. As the second man back off as well, the third came rushing in, slashing horizontally with his two swords. Mess twisted aside at the last minute, suffering only a minor cut from one of the blades as the third man continued moving away from him as well. Over across the rooftop, three of the staff wielding men in armor rushed towards Giang. As had been their tactic, the first to reach her made an attack designed to set up the follow up, as opposed to actually striking the Asian teen. The man made a downward strike that Giang blocked high with her staff. The maneuver worked as intended, with Giang being unable to get her staff back down to intercept the follow up attack that was aimed at her exposed left side. However, the Asian teen was able to bring her left leg up, taking the hit on her shin as opposed to her side. Once again, the thin sheen of water swirling about her absorbed the majority of the blow's impact. As the first two men continued on past her, the third arrived, making a strike towards her right side. Bringing her left foot back down, Giang was able to deflect this second attack with her staff, and the armored figured moved back a short distance from her after his attack failed to connect. As the armored swordsmen all moved away from Bloody Mess, the armored leader rushed forward towards the private investigator. As he drew close, his left leg came up in a crescent kick that seemed to be aimed at Mess' head, but as the pugilist pulled back away, the man quickly spun and delivered a sidekick with his other leg that drove directly into Mess' stomach. Pulling his leg back, the armored man turned back to face Mess, not withdrawing as the others.

FoS group 6 comes at Mess, one using the Aid Other action first: 15, so #2 gets a +3 on his attack roll. The other two attack Mess directly, #2 power attacking -2 atk/+2 dam (+7 attack total with aid). #2 gets a: 9, so he still misses. #3 goes for a straight attack on Mess, getting a 18, so that is a hit, DC 19 toughness save for Mess. FoS group 5 go after Tsuanmi, the first using the Aid Other action: 19, so +3 for #2. #2 and #3 both attack her, getting a: 28 and 19, so #2 hits. Her toughness save is a: 25, easily resisting the DC 19 check. The Fang leader comes back in at Mess, power attacking -5 atk/+5 dam. He gets a: 23, so another DC 21 toughness save for Mess.
-
That is indeed a hit, he only gets a 17 for his toughness save, which is a bruise and dazed condition. A hero point to Mess as I negate the Daze, he flys back ten feet, but lands on his feet thanks to skill mastery: acrobatics.

GM Two of the closest martial artists with butterfly swords rush forward towards John. The first comes at the clone stabbing with his matched weapons, but John is easily able to avoid the attack. The man stopped himself from going over the edge of the building, turning to face John as he brought his weapons back into a defensive position in front of him. The second steps up onto a small vent and leaps into the air, bringing both his swords slashing downward at John. The clone twisted to the side at the last moment, receiving little more than superficial cuts from the attack. Another two of the butterfly sword wielding martial artists followed after, though they came to a halt a short distance away, spacing themselves out as they did so.

After reach the beach of the bay, Velocity continued onward into the surrounding jungle, moving in excess of 15,000 mph. The yellow clad speedster started at the location the science team had last reported in from and fanned out from there, weaving between trees and around massive boulders and rocks. Just as she heard Gabriel's communication about hearing the team and trying to find their location, she speedster had spotted some seven kilometers from where they had last reported in from. "Yeah, I just spotted them." She replied over the communicator as she turned towards the group and started to slow her speed. The young woman then came to a sudden stop a short distance from the group, the long brown ponytail of the wig she wore while in costume swishing out to the side. "Hi there, I'm Velocity from the Freedom League. Is everyone okay?"

The two men traded a series of attacks at the start of the match, both scoring hits, but nothing decisive. The crowd above was cheering with each attack, the excitement in the air building as the match continued. After about a minute, both men had taken a few hits, one was bleeding from a small gash on his left cheek, the other from a cut on his upper left arm. The sight of blood seemed to have the crowd cheering louder as they continued closely circling one another, trying to look for the perfect opening as they continued to trade attacks. Then, one of the two managed to land a solid knee strike to the torso of the other, dazing the man. The man who delivered the knee strike quickly followed up with a left jab, causing his target to stagger back a few steps. Following after, the man then executed a spinning roundhouse kick, connecting squarely with the side of his targets head. The struck man spun nearly all the way around from the force of the kick before dropping hard onto the concrete floor. At this point the ref stepped in, waving the aggressor back as he checked the man on the ground a brief moment before starting a countdown. The man on the ground tried to push himself back upright, but slipped back down, still very much in a daze as the crowd was cheering and yelling overhead. Reaching ten, the first match of the evening came to an end. Then it was time for Freddy's match…

Two of the members of the FoS group 2 charge Myr (the only way they can get up to him to attack). They get a 10 and 20, so one hit. That is a DC 19 toughness save for Myr. Bloody Mess is up.
-
CC, there needs to be some further editing. Like I previously stated, there was NO duct tape on his mouth. Also, you made an intimidation roll (and succeeded), so that was your action. You can't just snatch the gun out of his hand. (that would be a disarm action).
-
Giang frowned slightly as the armored martial artists were dropped down onto the roof, several of them in her path. The Asian teen brought her hands up together in front of her as she sent a blast of water towards the closest one wielding a staff. The twisting jets of water slammed into his chest, knocking back dozens of feet until he slammed into the roof access door and crumpled to the ground unconscious. His staff clattered on the rooftop having been dropped where he had been struck by the water blast. Giang ran forward towards the small gap she had managed to create, cart wheeling as she went and snatching up the dropped staff. Standing back upright, she twirled the staff around before bringing it up in front of her, ready to defend herself.

Tsunami will continue to use defensive attack -5 atk/+5 def, blasting one of the guys blocking her path, taking 10 to hit him. A 7 for his toughness save means the guy is out cold.
-
GM The grey suited sorcerer's eyes go wide with slight surprise as John rushed up to him and grabbed a hold briefly before flinging him off of the rooftop and out into open space. The man let out a brief cry as his flight path took him through various strings of lights and kites that had been hung as decorations, which snapped and did little to alter or slow his trajectory. The man slammed hard into the transformer that John had aimed causing it to explode. The clone soldier could see the man's forcefield react to both the impact and the explosion, but the man still seemed to have been at least somewhat hurt by the maneuver as he feel to the ground near the now burning transformer. Several blocks around the transformer suddenly went black as they lost power.

Okay, for the throw/fall the sorcerer takes, he has to make a DC 25 toughness save, only gets a 21, so that is bruise. The transformer exploding I will call a DC 24 toughness save, he gets a 22, another bruise. He manages to avoid getting tangled up in the wires and such that he goes through with a 26
-
Okay, with the reroll, you easily win (would have won without it, but just barely). He only gets a 18. So, he is going to be flying away. Any particular direction John want's to fling him? Into a building? Out over an a street intersection? Also, for the IC post, you can describe a forcefield of golden energy that John impacts, not that it will stop the results of the Rush.
-
GM Down at street level, the sword and staff wielding men had gathered out in the intersection, looking up in the direction that their quarry and her male companion had gone, almost as if waiting for something. The armored leader looked at Mess as he rose up, his body bulging as his muscles expanded. The man then glanced up towards the rooftop as well, and started off in the direction the two teenagers had gone as he leapt up onto a low wall, using that to spring up to a second story ledge and then continued rebounding and leaping until he landed up on the rooftop not far from John. Standing back upright, he faced off with the blond haired young man. *** Elsewhere down one of the streets, Harry Hound was running in fear along with other bystanders who had been watching the Lion Dance performance. Then someone stepped into his path, grabbing a hold of him. "Mr. Hound! What has happened?" It was Mr. Chen, who was dressed in a navy blue suit, his dark eyes looking into Harry's. *** Back at the intersection, the man in the grey suit was casting another spell. As his hands finished outstretched before him, translucent golden forms began to form around then armored martial artists gathered in the intersection. The mystical energy took the form several serpents, lifting up into the air and carrying the men with them. The man then disappeared himself in another puff of white smoke, only to reappear up on a rooftop near where John, Giang and the armored martial artist were located. The glowing serpents flew up over the rooftops, dropping the armed men down lightly along the various roofs, allowing them once again to generally surround Giang and John.
