Tsunami gets a 20 for her initiative check

Okay, keeping this OOC for Part 2 @Electra @Poncho @MoonSimply @Spacefurry Everyone just give me an idea here where your PCs are for the start (as my post indicates, Star Khan and Paradigm are waiting out in the open). Then we will get this fight started.

Kingston Freedom City, New Jersey Wednesday, February 14, 2024, 5:25 PM After the decision had been made to move to the ruins of Kingston to await the arrival of the Boran Dovox, also known as Sovereign, the heroes that had delt with the minor rampage of Explodo the Great moved to a location not far from the Doomforge. Paradigm and Star Khan flew to the new location, to ensure that Dovox's assault transport would detect them and not start searching for the Star Khan. Fleur provided transportation for the other heroes. Paradigm and Star Khan stood out in a ruined parking lot, a few burned out husks of cars scattered about and half destroyed buildings nearby. Neither seemed particularly nervous as Paradigm was scanning the sky. "I see the transport." She stated after a few moments. "It appears to be headed directly for us." Star Khan had been alternating between scanning the sky as well and looking over at Paradigm. When she indicated she had spotted the transport, he looked back to the sky before looking about the barren landscape around them for a moment. It was not long after that the transport came roaring into view, flying down low towards the ruins of Kingston. As it approached the area where Star Khan stood beside Paradigm, it veered to the right and started to circle the area. As it passed to the right, a large, circular object dropped out, rockets slowing its descent as it landed a short distance away. A large, nearly eight foot tall mech dropped down next to the circular object, which opened up to reveal dozens of armed aliens in armor that began to move out away from the drop pod. With them were three large reptilian aliens with red scales and tusks, and two normal sized aliens dressed in black body suits. The transport continued to circle around, another drop pod dropping down to the left of where Star Khan and Paradigm were standing, along with another mech. A group of similar forces deployed from the second pod as well. The transport then flew over to the area out in front of Paradigm and Star Khan, almost landing as five figures jumped out of the back and the transport lifted back up into the sky. Leading the group was another of the red skinned reptilian aliens, standing well over seven feet tall. He was dressed in ornate armor and held a large, glaive like weapon in one hand. Walking just behind him, on either side were two tall figures dressed in black, teal and white armor, which had a small white eight pointed starburst in the center of the chest plate. The armor had a black and teal hood, and a full armored face mask with black visor. Each carried a long pike, the tip of which crackled with energy. Fleur recognized the armor from Freedom League briefs about Khanate Justicars. Just behind them were two more of the large tusked aliens, each carrying large swords. Star Khan looked from side to side a moment before looking back at the group approaching from the front. "Hunters, hounds and traitors." He stated simply as he looked at the two armored figures. "Justicar Wryy, Justicar Har’al, you would do well to set down your weapons and surrender, I may be willing to forgive you." "Kinarr Khan! I am Prince Dovox, the Sovereign!" The large tusked alien in the front of the group called out loudly as he came to halt. "You are not worthy to lead the Stellar Khanate, so I am here to take your head, and your throne!" He added, pointing his glaive at the young Star Khan. He then turned to look at Paradigm. "Praetorian, you have no business here, step aside." He snarled. "Neither do the Terrans." He added, glancing about at the others. "That is where you are wrong Dovox." Paradigm stated simply. "The new Star Khan has extended an offer of peace to the Republic and Coalition, so his safety is of great concern to the Praetorians." "But additionally, I have a personal interest here. Kinarr also made a proposal of marriage to me in the council chambers. So, until such time as I either accept or decline, he is my prospective intended." Dovox simply snarled as he gripped his glaive with both hands. "Then you can die together, makes no difference to me."

Well, it got a 9, so you pull its pike away!
-
Okay, you can Take 10 to auto hit with the attack so, roll 1d20 plus the ranks of Telekinesis (I believe 8?) and I will roll a contested Str check for the Omegadrone.
-
Well, that would actually be two attacks, as disarm is a standard action, so not something you can do in a single round (at least without a surge, and it is early in the tread to be burning HP for that most likely)

Timeout Lawrence glanced over to Michael as the other boy sat down and made a comment about them not really needing him. The blond teen was kneeling down by one of the unconscious Starblights checking their vitals and any signs of broken bones or other serious injuries. "Nonsense." Lawrence replied. "You helped protect Gamma from attacks, and drew some that might otherwise have come at me." He then moved on to the next when Baz brought them over. "And you certainly helped put down those large creatures and gave Gamma a toss to deal with FX. You were very much a part of this fight."

Okay, going to call this +17 Str bonus, so DC 32 toughness saves. The dropship again rolls real well (even already damaged) and gets 29, so is now injured 2. The Justicar gets 22, so, already staggered, he is out.

GM As Kismet headed off in a different direction, Archer and El Gato led the teens back outside, where they were greeted to the sound of gunfire and explosions in the distance. Moving quickly down the alleyway, they made their way back in the direction of the casino they had initially appeared in front of. Occasionally there was the sound of something flying overhead quickly, followed by what sounded like energy weapons and explosions. Coming to the end of the alley, the group could see the street that ran by the casino. Several destroyed cars now littered the street, one of which was a police car. Several bodies were scattered about the street and sidewalk, many of them police. A number of police and SWAT members were behind various cover, engaged in a fire fight with more than twenty hulking armored figures that were scattered about the area, some hovering in the air. After quickly taking in the scene, El Gato rushed forward toward one of the armored figures, leaping at it as she slashed with her claws. The car-woman landed on its back, her claws slashing across its throat as the armored figure went stiff and the collapsed onto its knees before falling to one side as El Gato dropped off and landed in a crouch before dating behind a parked car.

Okay, realized we needed to move things forward a bit, so moving everyone along so then we can start combat. El Gato will rush an Omegadrone and take 10 to hit it. DC 23 toughness save: 15, so one Omegadrone goes down. @Dracostern Cerebral is up!

Timeout Again, Aquaria reveling her full appearance did not seem to bother Lawrence, as he had seen plenty of bizarre beings on CoVic Station. The blond teen thought he had an idea what she meant about "bad robots" killing a Star Knight, but felt it was best not to bring it up. They were here to learn about Deep Ones, not a recent history of space. Some of the others seemed a bit…concerned, either by Aquaria's appearance, some of what she said, or a combination of both. Lawrence knew the League had a good bit of information about Sea Devil, his mom not mentioning the details. If they felt she was trustworthy enough, that was good enough for him. He glanced over to Parker, giving his friend a slight nudge with his elbow. "Hey, you okay? Look a bit pale." He asked quietly. -
@Poncho That will be the same one Parker just attacked, it fails the save this time. @The Sailor Torpedo Lass 2 is up!
-
@Huckleberry ah, sorry, well, you would only have been able to get one of those anyway as they are spaced out. They are minions, so you can take 10 to hit them. It makes its toughness save with a 26. @RocketLord go ahead with a notice check to see what he might pick up as a reaction. @Poncho Golden Star is up.

GM Gor'an seemed like he might want to respond, but he was unable to as he was desperately holding on to Rock's wrist with his free hand, as he was held aloft by his head. He grunted in pain and the grip on his power pike tightened as he seemed unwilling to yield. Out over the open space to the north of the town, Star Khan stayed in the air as he fired another blast at the Hunter he had previously brought down. However, the blast glanced off the mech, as it began climbing back to its feet.
-
Okay, the Justicar can beat that intimidate without a roll, so, he is being dumb. Star Khan will keep on the injured Hunter, hitting with a 26, DC 29 toughness save: 29, just makes it. @Gizmo Rock is up!
-

Multi-Girl The path the teens took lead away from the house and into a part of the compound that was covered with jungle. After a short while, the came to a gate in a fence that allowed them to continue along the path until they eventually reached the cliffs Jonah had mentioned, which were a short way off the path, though the trees were rather spares along the base of the cliffs. The cliff side stretched almost a hundred meters, with the section along the right only rising about fifty or so feet and looking like an easier climb. To the left the cliff rose almost one hundred feet and seemed a bit more challenging climb. Bernadette took a look at the cliffs as she grinned slightly. "Well, this may take a wee bit, but I'll get up there." She said as she took some of the calk Jonah offered and started over towards the higher cliffs on the left.

GM Gaian Knight's stone serpent began with the Boran that had tried to attack Artificer, slamming into the large alien and pushing it back several feet. But somehow the Boran withstood the attack. However, the stone serpent continued through the hanger, growing in size as it did, sweeping aside scores of alien troops as it went. The Justicar that had tried to attack Vor'an looked up at the serpent as it reared up at him, any shock on his face hidden behind the faceless mask of his helmet. Then the serpent crashed down into him, knocking him back dozens of feet to lie unconscious on the deck. Several other Boran were knocked aside by the serpent, as were two of the aliens in black bodysuits that had used mental and telekinetic attacks. Only one other Boran managed to withstand the attacks, as did the Hunter mech that had shot Gaian Knight, although it had suffered some damage. As the stone serpent passed, the other Boran that had managed to withstand its assault rushed forward toward Gaian Knight, swinging its large axe at the League member. The clumsy attack was easily sidestepped as the Boran smashed its axe into the deck of the hanger with a loud CLANG.

Okay, the remaining Boran (tough aliens) are mainly moving around to get into position to try to attack. The one that withstood Gaian Knight's attack will charge him to attack in melee and miss horribly. @Ecalsneerg Galvanic is up!
-
Forgot to add the Hounds: miss and miss on the Reflex saves, toughness saves: First gets a 18, so staggered (which we will say puts him out of the fight), the other gets a 16, so he is out as well.

Tsunami Giang looked at the footprints in the water with a bit of curiosity, which only increased as she found the opened skylight. The Asian young woman wondered who might have been making their way inside of the factory, suspecting that thieves would no likely be willing to risk angering a crime boss such as Mr. Silk. It was possible that it could be agents of Dr. Sin, which could make things more difficult, but also provide a distraction as she tried to find Wrack. Everything seemed quiet inside, so she waited for the guards to move away or turn their attention before going through the skylight herself and making her way toward the trap door.
-
Okay, will let you start with the Boran LT that tried to hit Artificer, wrap it around catch the Justicar and one of the Hunter Mechs and the two Hounds that attacked and a whole lot of troopers and some Boran minions all in the area. Boran LT: 12 for his reflex check, so full damage: he gets a 30 on his toughness save. The Justicar: 18 on his Reflex check, so full damage, 13 on his toughness save! So he goes down! The Hunter gets a 11 on his Reflex check, so also full damage. 26 on his toughness save, so a bruise. Three Boran minions all take full damage: 22, 15, 30 on their toughness saves, so one withstands it, the other two go down. Lots of troopers go down!

Multi-Girl Bernadette was doing pretty well despite the long and grueling day under the hot sun, her superhuman endurance coming in handy. But she knew that they need to stop as it started to get dark, no need for them to risk someone turning their ankle in the dark. Not to mention the wind and sand were not going to help. The redhead considered Dr. Macedon's question about what their next steps should be as it started to darken and already was getting cooler. "Probably need ta find some shelter ta help get us out o' the worst o' the wind." She replied. "Like maybe find a place up close ta those rocks that can provide a bit o' protection?" She stated, pointing towards a nearby rock outcropping.

Multi-Girl Bernadette took several deep breaths as she did as Charlie suggest, just holding on to him as he held her close. After a few moments, she let out a breath as she began to answer. "We were on the way back an’'some cosmic entity intercepted the portal, shuntin' us off ta…" She paused, trying to recall how she had heard the Headmistress and Leage members refer to what they believed might have happened. "I think they believe it was some sort o' alternate dimensions or timelines." "Anyway, Neko, Owain, Rosalind an' I, along with a couple o' juniors an' two sophomores, ended up in the middle o' the 1993 Terminus Invasion." She squeezed a bit tighter again as new tears ran down her cheek.

Multi-Girl Summer smiled at Callie as the other girl mentioned being something of a loner while at Claremont. "I was hardly Miss Popularity." The guitarist said. "Band geek." She said with a grin. "I love playing, but really don't like the spotlight. That's why we have Bernie, she doesn't mind being the main focus of attention." "Hard ta be in the background when I'm doin' all the singin'." Bernadette replied with a grin. When Charlie mentioned Callie being like "family," the redhead had an idea what that meant, but did not comment, seeing as it was not something to talk about around the other members of the band.
