  1. Tsunami Giang had never really been one for shopping, even after moving to the United States, while she accompanied some of her friends at Claremont on shopping trips, it was not an activity she sought out. While she presently had a larger wardrobe than she ever had in her life, it was primarily a result of being part of the Socotran royal family, which brought with it the expectation that she be present at numerous functions. After losing the woman, Giang began sticking to the shadows as she moved away from the more crowded areas of the downtown area of Kowloon, making her way towards the industrial area where Superior Silks main factory would be located. The sooner she focused on helping the Immortal she was here to help, the sooner she could leave this city.
  2. Velocity "Fast? No problem." Velocity replied to Moon-Moth with a grin. When the Lanterian completed his spell she became a yellow blur as she took off with a *CRACK* as she quickly broke the sound barrier. Appearing in the vast hanger the speedster found it filled with dozens of smaller starships, from several of the large assault transports like the one they had seen depart earlier, to dozens of fighters. There were also hundreds of aliens of various species scattered about, pilots, crew members and large groups of armed troops that appeared to be assembling around the transports. The speedster became a zig-zagging blur of yellow as she began moving about the area around her arrival point. As she went she launched supersonic punches at the armed aliens in the area, each with an audible *CRACK* that seemed simultaneous. In just a few seconds the League speedster had covered an area larger than a football field around where she had started, leaving dozens of alien troopers scattered about the area unconscious. She even had encountered ten seven-foot-tall reptilian aliens with large tusks that she figured must be some of the Borons the Justicar and Praetorians had been talking about. Only one of the large aliens had managed to withstand her attack, the other nine also knocked out as she continued speeding through the hanger. But Velocity did not stop once she had all but cleared the immediate area around the arrival point, but quickly ran a loop around the entire hanger, quickly taking a look at all the forces present in the area they were going to have to deal with.
  3. @Tiffany Korta @Dracostern @MoonSimply @Avenger Assembled @TheAbsurdist Lets get initiative rolls done, as we are going to need them.
  4. Okay, getting this started as Velocity starts with her selective area effect melee attack (going full power attack -5 atk/+5 dam) and taking 10 to hit all the minions in the area. All the troopers in the area are out. 10 of the tough aliens are in the area DC30 toughness saves, only one just makes the save and avoids being KO'd. Going to include the first bad guy, who rolls terrible on an attempted stealth check, only getting a 23. @RocketLord Ghost is up!
  5. Multi-Girl The tension in Bernadette's body seemed to fade some as Charlie held her and her breathing relaxed. She did not let go of him, but it no longer felt like she was clinging on for dear life. The Irish teen still felt the pain and emptiness inside that had seemed to be screaming at her for hours, but now it seemed a bit more distant, Charlie's presence helping to quiet it some. At his question to confirm what she had meant, the redhead nodded slight. "Yes." She said quietly, closing her eyes as another tear ran down her cheek and she rested the side of her head on a shoulder, her forehead up against his chin. "It…felt as if a part o’ me was torn away."
  6. @Lone_Star While Kaede is getting Shadowborne's IC post up, Ghule is up!
  7. @Huckleberry @Supercape @RocketLord @Kaede Kimura @Thunder King @The Sailor @Poncho While we wait for the last two posts, might as well get new initiatives for everyone....going to need them soon. (time for the next twist in the timeline)
  8. He tanks it with a 34 on his toughness save.

  10. Tsunami gets a 26 for her Notice check.
  11. Tsunami Giang calmly made her way out of the station, noting the cameras and possible spies, but not paying much attention to them. She discretely kept an eye out for any additional people that might be trying to follow her as she made her way out into the streets of the city. The young woman takes a moment to study the crowd and reorient herself before she moves onto the sidewalks, looking to become another part of the crowd. She starts towards the mall, looking for any sign of a tail.
  12. Multi-Girl Mark had smiled at Charlie's suggestion for getting over any nerves of facing the crowd before he was pulled over to the group selfie by Neko. While the main members of the band were gathered around the cat-girl, Bernadette’s duplicate in the blonde wig looked over to Charlie. "So, think this will work?" She asked. The other duplicate in the brunette wig gave her a look. "Like he isn' able ta recognize us despite the wigs." She said with a grin. Bernadette gave a big smile next to Neko as Red took some pictures. The redhead’s roommate had certainly thrown herself into helping the band with their marketing, and it was paying off. Not just in the show tonight, but the opportunity they had next week, which was going to have them flying to Japan! "Don' worry, we got it." The Irish teen replied with a grin. She then turned as the newcomer arrived, someone that knew Charlie. "Well, thank you." Bernadette said as she took the offered roses. "I'm Bernadette." She then gestured over to the other members of the band, "Summer, Mark an’ John." Summer regarded Callie a moment. "I remember you from when I was at Claremont." She said as she placed the other young woman's face.
  13. The crew of the cruiser actually prevents the jamming with a 27!
  14. Multi-Girl Bernadette thought she had a pretty good idea of what they needed to do, and it seemed like Carmen did as well, although the other teen seemed a bit less certain of herself with the navigation. “Aye, that looks right Carmen. Don' feel rushed with this, better ta take yer time an' be shoor we are headin' where we are supposed to." The redhead replied in support of Carmen as the cat-girl started leading them off into the desert. The redhead set off after Carmen, easily keeping pace with the other teen. From time-to-time, Bernadette glanced back to make sure Baz and Vueriz were within sight, although Dr. Macedon had moved to the back to keep an eye on them. Every so often, the Irish teen and Carmen stopped to consult the map and make sure they were still heading in the right direction, allowing for the others to catch back up. After about an hour, Bernadette took her turn as the primary navigator, and took the lead as they continued through the desert.
  15. As mentioned on discord, Tsunami is taking 10 on Stealth (thanks to skill mastery) for a 25 to lose the two suits.
  16. Tsunami Giang gave a polite shake of her head in response to the offer of a taxi and continued moving through the crowd along the exterior of the terminal. Having spotted the two men following her, the Asian woman moved into the crowd, looking to disappear among the crowd. Soon, she was back inside the terminal, making her way down to where the station for the Airport Express, the MTR rapid transit line that connected Chek Lap Kok with both the mainland and Hong Kong Island. With out four stops aside from the airport, it was one of the fastest ways to get to other parts of the greater Hong Kong metro area, with one of the stops being located right in the heart of Kowloon City. Paying cash with some of the money from Mr. Murk, she soon had a ticket for Kowloon Station and was making her way to the platform.
  17. Timeout "Great work Gamma." Lawrence called out to his roommate when he managed to take down FX (again). "Can you go get him and bring him over here so we can try to keep an eye on him so hopefully he won't slip away again." He then moved over towards the two Starblights that had been returned to normal after the creature had been dealt with. The blond teen checked to make sure they were breathing normally and for any signs of obvious injuries before looking over to Michael. "Can you bring the other two that were part of that other creature over as well. We should make sure they are all okay. Then we can figure out what we are going to do with them."
  18. Timeout Lawrence Harrow was seated in the school van, listening to Ms. Harcourt as they made their way to meet Sea Devil. While the blond teen had heard of her, he really knew very little about Deep Ones, so when the opportunity came up for a field trip to meet with Sea Devil he had signed up. While the field trip had required special permission from his parents, that had not been difficult for Lawrence to get. After all, his mother was a member of the Freedom League, and while she did not really know Aquaria, she was familiar enough with her situation.
  19. Multi-Girl By the time Neko let her illusion fade and revel the stage once more, Bernadette O'Connell and the rest of the band were in their places. The Irish was dressed in a plaid skirt of various shades of green and black with a white T-shirt, spiked black leather bracelets on her forearms just below the wrist. Summer Sands was just to Bernadette's right, similar dressed in a plaid skirt, although red and black in color. Summer also wore a white dress shirt and a black leather jacket. The other band members, Mark and John, were dressed in black, and set off in the shadows near the drums were two of Bernadette’s duplicates, each wearing wigs, to act as backup singers. As the crowd cheered to the sight of the band, Summer and the others immediately went into the intro of their first song, a rock version of Blondie’s "Call Me." After a brief instrumental introduction, Bernadette began singing, as always, perfectly blending the lyrics of the classic song into the rock beat from Summer and the others. Color me your color, baby Color me your car Color me your color, darling I know how you are Come up off your color chart I know where you are coming from Call me (Call me) on the line Call me, call me any, anytime Call me (Call me) I'll arrive You can call me any day or night Call me Cover me with kisses, baby Cover me with love Roll me in designer sheets I'll never get enough Emotions come, I don’t know why Cover up love’s alibi Call me (Call me) on the line Call me, call me any, anytime Call me (Call me) I'll arrive When you're ready we can share the wine Call me The song moved into an instrumental break into which was added a bit of a guitar solo for Summer before Bernadette and her duplicates began singing with a quiet, more haunting section of the melody. Oooooooh, he speaks the languages of love Oooooooh, amore, chiamami, chiamami Oooooooh, appelle-moi, mon cheri, appelle-moi The tempo and volume picked up once again, as Bernadette began hitting the higher notes of the lyrics. Anytime, anyplace, anywhere, any waaaaay Anytime, anyplace, anywhere, any daaaaaaaay, (any way) Call meeee (Call me) my looove Cal me, call me any, anytime Call meeee (Call me) for a riiiide Call me, call me for some overtime Call meeee (Call me) my loooove Call me, call me in a sweet design Call me (Call me), call me for your lover's lover's alibi Call me As Bernadette finished singing, the first song wrapped up with some brief heavy guitar chords and drums….
  20. Multi-Girl Bernadette met Charlie halfway across the room, throwing her arms around him and hugging him as she buried her face onto his right shoulder and sobbed. Charlie could feel her entire body quiver as she hugged him, perhaps a bit harder than she intended. Thankfully that was brief, before she relaxed, and just rested against him as she cried for a moment. Eventually, she lifted her head back up, her left hand brushing some red hair out of her face as her tear-filled green eyes looked into Charlie's blue ones. "I…I felt them die."
  21. @Kaede Kimura Okay, Shadwoborne is up!
  22. Gets a 22 so just a bruise.
  23. Tsunami When she came to the customs official, Giang greeted him with the proper Chinese etiquette for addressing an elder. Standing patiently as he looked over her papers and then studied her. When he asked her purpose, the Asian woman leaned into her youthful appearance, smiling as she responded to the Cantonese with flawless Cantonese of her own. "Pleasure." "Mainly shopping, most likely at Harbour City." She added, naming Hong Kong's largest shopping center built in the heart of Kowloon at the site of the old Kowloon Wharves.
  24. Tsunami Giang listened as Harry gave her some information about where it was believed Wrack might be being held. She then retrieved the bag from under her seat, taking the money and dividing it into several different piles of various denominations. One she placed in her right boot, another into the inner pocket of her leather jacket, the other into the front pocket of her jeans. The young woman then spent a bit of time studying the papers, familiarizing herself with the forged identity, which would have been good to have done during the rest of the flight over. Soon, the vintage aircraft was descending to a runway on Chek Lap Kok, an island that was part of Hong Kong’s New Territories, the entire island serving as the city's airport. Once they had touched down and pulled toward one of the small hangers away from the main terminals, the Asian woman began to unstrap herself as she prepared to depart, looking for any sign of a customs official or other such official.
  25. Velocity Another transmission from Paradigm and Fleur indicated they were moving to an area away from civilians to wait for Dovox to arrive while those on the Lighthouse cut off any support from the cruiser as Gaian Knight had suggested. Vor'an looked over to Patriot as she began asking questions about their likely opponents. "Dovox's forces are an assorted collection of beings from dozens of worlds, many former pirates, although he has had some former Khanate forces come under his banner, particularly in the aftermath of the Incursion. Most are from worlds with standard atmospheres, so the environment inside the cruiser will be hospitable." He began. "Dovox is a Boron, and has many of them in his service as well. They are large, stronger and tougher than Lor or other similar humanoids. He is likely to have at his disposal a wide range of weaponry, from Khanate and other sources that he has managed to steal from. That is a Marauder class cruiser, a somewhat older Khanate vessel, but formidable. The hanger space runs along almost the entire length of the starboard side. If they are assembling reinforcements, that is where they will be gathering to board other assault transports." "That sounds like a nice open place to start out." Velocity said as with a smirk. She then glanced over to Gaian Knight and gave him a small smile. "Don't worry, I promise this time I won't set off any sonic booms around the reactor and cause it to overload and detonate, like I did on that Communion ship."
