Okay, well, as this seems mainly just to deal with the superheroes involved, Megan's mom likely wouldn't be there.

Welcome Ryoga. There are not really any games on this site, technically, this is all one big game. There is a thread for rules for the board (regarding general rules and character creation rules). You can have one PL 6 character and one PL 10 character at any time. If you have particular questions about character creation, there is a section of the form to ask those. If your ready to submit a character for approval by the GMs, that is in the character bank. Things here are pretty player run, with players coming up with story ideas for their characters. Sometimes working with other players, or getting a GM to help them with things.

MarkK, I wanted to clarify when this gathering is. Is it earlier in the day of the event? Or is it a few days before the actual event? The answer could well effect whether Velocity will show up as Velocity, or as Megan Howell (with her mother).

Velocity listened to Captain Wonder’s story along with the others, smiling as she listened with some interest. When Dr. Archeville began asking some questions, the teenage speedster moved over to where Emissary was arranging the snacks, smiling at him as he apologized about not having pastries. “This is just fine Emissary.†She said. “After all, after a good workout, it is far better to have healthy foods.†With that she filled a small plate with several of the things laid out in the blink of an eye. But then she ate at normal speed.

I would like to spend my 3 pp as follows. 2 to Defense, making the base 10, and the total 26 (with 15 flat) The last pp is going into Reflex Save, making the base 4, and total +12. Thanks :)

MarkK, did you give any more thought to what I mentioned about Megan (Velocity)'s mother being involved in the event? If so, she will likely be arriving first with her mother. :)

“Your welcome.†Velocity replied back with a smile of her own. “I think you’ll find more than a few things different here. But this is not good bye for the moment yet, I’m going to make sure you get back to your new place.†After giving the cab driver the address, she will follow along the cab as it heads towards Robert’s new place.

Velocity is moving at full speed now, with one of her alt powers that means her quickness is boosted up to 9 ranks. She will be moving and taking 20 to try and spot the group she had been following. Given how high her quickness is at the moment, taking 20 on a notice check should take less than a second. She also has extended sight thanks to her high-tech goggles :)

Once Megan had headed off and found a place to change, it was only seconds later that she emerged in costume as Velocity, speeding out of the building she was in and back out onto campus. She had lost sight of the group she had been following, but that was not likely a problem, as she speed off in the direction they had been heading, quickly looking to spot them as she moved in that general direction at high speed, fanning out the search some to make it more of a cone shape from where she had last seen them. Of course now she was having to be blatantly obvious, thanks to the stupid tour guide calling out to her and her having to make an excuse that did not allow her to continue to follow them. But, if the group was up to no good and her appearance made them start something sooner, that might actually turn out to be a good thing.

I think even with the enhancement for Takedown Attack against minions, they still have to be within five feet of each other to continue using the feat. If there are a couple of others nearby, Velocity will likely take them out as well.

"Yep, I'm Velocity." The teenage superheroine replied. "And no thanks on the coffee, believe me, its about the last thing I need. I'd be bouncing off the walls, or at least running up them." She looked over at the other two figures in costume. "Hey there. I brought some desserts." She said, holding out a bag that was from an upscale bakery in Hanover.

Well, looks like there are no interested GMs :(

The ocean breeze swept over Megan Howell as she stood at the bow of a massive yacht, looking over at the lights of the North Bay Yacht Club as they drew closer. She was absent mindedly tapping one foot in impatience in how long it was taking to get back to the docks, knowing she was going to be late, a thought that was infuriating for someone who really had no reason to be late to anything. Earlier this morning, she and dozens of other students from North Bay Academy had set off on the yacht belonging to the family of Thomas Keller, one of Megan's fellow Seniors that had just graduated from the prestigious high school. They had set out for some cruising along the shore and just having a good time. Megan had gotten some sun, gotten a bit tipsy from some margaritas and made out some with another fellow Senior, Randy Larson. But Megan had thought they would be back a bit sooner than this, but had lost track of time some during everything. Glancing at her watch again, she realized she might not be too late, if she could get the other girls from the cheerleading team that had rode with her home quickly. As the yacht pulled into its slip, she headed back towards the aft of the boat, where most of the other students were gathered. On the way she passed a few couples spending some last few moments together. Finding the other cheerleaders that had gotten a ride from her earlier in the morning, Megan gave them a smile as she came up and picked up her bag. "You girls ready to go?" She asked, glad that none of the girls were too drunk. Once they were docked and people began to disembark, Megan led the other girls off the yacht, stopping to thank Thomas for a great party. As they headed off, Megan found Randy down at the bottom of the gangplank with some other guys. He looked over at Megan and moved a bit closer to her as she came down. "Hey." He said with a small smile. "I'll give you a call later this week." Megan gave him a smile and nodded. "Okay, sounds good. Have a good night." She then continued down the dock towards the yacht club's parking lot. Soon she had all the other girls piled into her BMW X-5 and was on the road to get them all home. Soon she had dropped of the last of the other girls, and headed off to park in a residential area a short ways off. Grabbing two bags out of the back of the SUV, she noted the cross streets and then headed off down the street. A short ways away, she took off in a blur of speed, moving into a dark area where she was changed into her Velocity costume in an instant. She was then speeding off down the streets, heading towards the water so she could take the quickest route towards Southside, which was across the water. Less than a minute later she was in Southside, zipping down the dark roads towards the address Nightrival had mentioned in his voicemail message on the phone she used as Velocity. It was only seconds after that that she found the garage and saw a pair of individuals in costume making their way into the building. Megan did not recognize them, but figured that seeing as they were acting pretty casually, they likely were not criminals, and one of them, another girl, was carrying KFC bags. With a flash of movement, she followed after them, getting inside before the door closed, kicking up a small wind in her passage before she skidded to a halt a dozen or so feet inside and was facing the two in costume and the guy introducing himself as Monty. "Hey, sorry I'm a bit late, kinda got hung up." She said with a smile.

I am sorry to hear that Warmonger So, any ideas on what we should do? Otherwise, I'm pretty much out of the thread really :(

Sorry about the delay, its been a busy last several days (had my graduation from law school on Friday and had family in town till yesterday morning).

Well, if she is punching, Strike is really the only option, but I'll be sure to mention that. I'll just take 10 then to hit the other one.

I do believe that is a hit on a spider bot. If she takes it out, she will use Takedown to attack the other on Val (as it is within 5')

Velocity watched as a pair of the spiders attacked Valkyrie. The instant they had grabbed the other heroine, she was moving towards them, her fist shooting out towards the closer of the two.

Velocity just smiled, not letting Raven’s curt attitude get her down. She waved as the dark haired heroine departed, then turned to face Robert. When he shifted uncomfortably and talked about feeling awkward, she gave him a questioning look. “Awkward? Why’s that? We stopped the bad guys, and you don’t have to go back to where they might try to hurt you?†“Come on, lets get you a cab to get you to your new home.†She then said, pulling out the cellphone she used as Velocity as they started towards the exit.

Sorry about the delays in posting VM, I have been really busy. Friday I had my graduation from law school, so I now officially have my juris doctorate. Because of that, there has been a lot of company in town. Things are calming down and I should have a post up later today or tomorrow. Thev

One thing I'm thinking that could be humorous for Velocity is if her mom has some roll in helping Emissary with the event, so she is having to switch back and forth between being Velocity and Megan Howell :)
