After setting off one last sonic boom, Velocity sped out of the hanger just as it collapsed, and looked over at Raindance with a grin. “Well, that’s two hangers down. Shall we see what’s behind door number three?â€Â

Velocity was relieved when the “Robert†before her put down the flashlight and seemed willing to talk things out. When he continued, she listened closely, and was not happy with what she was hearing. She did not even want to think about what the impact of all these people that had been replaced being reveled. “Well, I will have something to say for you just disappearing, and I am sure the Freedom League will as well.†She replied as she started towards the exit to lead Robert back to where she had left Raven. “Do you know why they were having your replace Robert?†She asked, wondering if she should free the real Robert now or wait till Deadalus or someone got down here to see what more he could learn about what was going on.

“Destroy the factory and try to find where they are going. Right, got it.†Velocity replied. She then looked up at Raindance. “It’s about to get loud in here.†She said with a grin. She was then off in a flash, running towards the nearest set of factory equipment. As she drew near, she triggered another sonic boom. By the time it had gone off, she was already well past it and out of the area of effect, ready to set off another near more equipment.

Velocity did not move, but she was ready incase he tried to do anything. She looked over at him, giving him a slightly sympathetic look. “Listen, I am not sure exactly what is going on here, but if you say you were forced to do something, I am sorry you have been put in this position. Let’s just put down that flashlight and make our way back upstairs and get the police in here so things can get all sorted out. Okay?â€Â

I am fine with going on a bit longer, or just moving us on ahead. As for thugs showing up to put us in holding cells, not sure how that would really work. First, wouldn't they need to put everyone in the campus in a holding cell? Something that seems unlikely. And Second, how would there be a holding cell on campus? (or do you just mean put us in a classroom or something?). I think it might be more realisitic to just have the bad guys show up and start causing havoc, going after whatever they are after, and people just scatter in panic. That's just my thought.

Megan follows along with the group, listening to Kevin as he talked about being in a fraternity and the liked. Well, let’s not try to play down FC’s party reputation any. She thought, but, it was likely that anyone here that was seriously considering the school was interested in hearing about that. She just followed along, looking around at the campus some as they went, wondering if maybe it would not have been better to have just gone to classes today.

Velocity looked back at the Robert that was talking to her as he began to explain what happened. He seemed nervous, and wasn’t looking directly at her. As if that was not enough, there was the fact that the Robert in the tub was all attached to the life support equipment. “Really? That’s pretty impressive.†Velocity replied, with fake awe. “You beat him up and hooked all that stuff up to him? That’s amazing.†Her face then got serious, and she tensed for an attack. “How about you start telling the truth?â€Â

Yeah, I kinda figured that was the case based on other clues :)

“Well, don’t worry, Raven and I will get you out of here.†Velocity replied as she took a quick glance over at the open pod Robert had pointed towards, looking to see if there was anything inside.

Well, I believe he said preference would be given to those not currently doing anything, not leaving out those already doing things altogether :)

“I’m doing fine so far.†Velocity replied back with a slight smile at the other heroine’s comments. “There just seems to be no end to them though.â€Â

Megan looked over at the door he was point at as she heard his question. She looked back at him as she wondered briefly about why he might be inviting her to one of those more private rooms. She really did not think he was trying to take advantage of her, he did not really seem the type. Even if she was wrong, she was very certain she could deal with him, if not get away with relative ease, so she figured there was little harm in going somewhere that they could talk more easily for a bit. All that consideration took a fraction of a second, so quickly that someone would not even realize the delay in her response. One of the benefits of being able to think and move hundreds of times faster than a normal person. “Sure, that sounds good.†She replied with a smile.

As she began to fall, Velocity quickly reacted to the sudden lack of footing, years of cheerleading and gymnastics helping her deal with the situation. Tucking into a front flip, she landed lightly on her feet, rolling out of the fall and back up to her feet. Looking up at the massive conveyor belts and assembly line, her mouth opening slightly in amazement. Pulling out her communicator, she sent a message to Raindance, the others in space and Daedalus. “This is Velocity, I found the robot toy assembly line. There are tons of these things, and they are being teleported away as soon as they are done.â€Â

Well, with her acrobatics skill, it likely would have been easy to avoid damage regardless :)

Megan smiled. “It’s not so bad. If nothing else it keeps her busy and out of my hair.†She grinned at the last. “But really, my mom does a lot of good things, and I try to help out when I can.â€Â

“Oh my god.†Velocity quietly muttered as she looked at the room before her. How could so many people be missing and this not have made the new somehow? Where did they all come from? But her questions were quickly pushed aside as she saw the control center further in. With a burst of speed, she ran towards the control center, to try to see who the person inside might be. “Hello there?†She called out as she sped to the door of the room.

Megan moved to the rest of the group and listened to her guide, who introduced himself as Kevin, talk about the plan for the day, and the lunch. She was not her for free food, so it did not matter too much to her if she had to end up paying for her meal anyway. She did note Kevin looking over everyone in the group briefly, seeming to pay a bit more attention to some of the guys, particularly a larger guy that looked like he could be a football player. Not particularly used to getting such brief glances from members of the opposite sex, she though to herself, he is either looking for good future recruits for the football team, or he is gay. Not really having any questions, she waited for the tour to get started.

I'd be interested with Velocity Doc. For this is on the North side of the Wading Way, which is closer to her neighborhood (not that she can't really go anywhere in the city with easy in seconds )

Well, that might be a problem, but there is clearly an effort being put out by HERO games to accomodate the players of CO in the hopes that some will become fans of the HERO system pen and paper game. This thread, http://forums.champions-online.com/show ... php?t=2426, was started by a person that wanted information about Millennium City University to tie into thier character's background. Steve Long of HERO games replied with what little information the had a the time, and as a result of interest, has started to work on a pdf only Hero Adventures Plus product to further detail the university!
