Multi-Girl As Jonah dealt with one of the bird creatures wielding a spear, and catching one of the ones with a sword in the area of his cold effects, Bernadette and her duplicated turned towards more of their opponents on either side of the group. The original Irish teen rushed forward toward one of the sword wielding enemies, taking a swing at it but the creature managed to dodge backward with a flap of its wings. Meanwhile, the duplicate redhead leapt up into the air toward another of the creatures wielding a spear, kicking it off the branch it had been perched on and sending it flying through several branches until it landed some distance away unconscious. The duplicate then landed in the snow a short distance past the branch as she looked for any other enemies.

Multi-Girl will attack one with a katana, missing with a 8 Her duplicate will attack one with a naganita, hitting with a 23, as a minion, it cannot beat the DC 27 toughness save, so it out. @Avenger Assembled Owain is up! Multi-Girl Bernadette frowned slightly as Dr. Adamu accused them of being the ones responsible for all the damage (well, directly responsible at least). However, the scientist did not seem particularly interested in anything they had to say before she put her headphones back in place and started walking away again. The redhead focused on the green skinned woman. "Yes Ms. Harvest, I'm okay, just likely ruined these clothes." She stated, looking down at several holes of various sizes that were the result of Ruin hitting her multiple times with her disintegration attack. "Not exactly shoor what happened. We were holdin' the purple haired copy o' Consuelo down an' my duplicate tried ta knock her out an' then she just vanished."

@Huckleberry Need to keep things moving, so planning to go with the Mummy's action later this afternoon. If we need to, we can deal with Rot's action later. @RocketLord @Poncho Should start planning out what Spaceman/Golden Star might be planning to do.

Multi-Girl Bernadette had not been particularly surprised when Michael had turned down the invitation to go climbing/exploring more of the island, indicting his intention to wait for Carmen. What the younger teen had not realized was that Carmen had been sneaking up on him at that moment. The redhead chuckled slightly as the cat-girl surprised Michael some before turning back to Jonah and the others as they started off away from the deck towards one of the trails from the main house. "Well, outdoorsy in that I play lacrosse outdoors." The Irish teen answered with a small grin. "But more seriously, the hills here don' seem particularly dauntin' so I should be alright fer any climb we decided ta try." Soon the group that was heading off to explore was making their way along a path from the house, some small bags with water and phones in addition to the equipment Jonah had with him.

Okay, currently no rubble to deal with, but TL2 can ready an action to deal with an if that changes before her next action. In the interest of keeping this moving, go ahead with an IC preparing for that and the comments to Lawrence

GM Predator landed a solid hit on the costumed villain, causing him to grunt in pain as he staggered backward slightly. But then he recovered, looking at her with a slight grin. "Good hit, but let's see if you can take another blast?" He then tossed another glowing object at the ground a short distance in front of Predator. But as it exploded, Star Khan moved in front of the armored hero, blocking the explosion, which rippled around the two, damaging the pavement and some nearby parked cars. As the flame and smoke cleared, Explodo was standing there, apparently unharmed by his own explosions, but his smile dropped as he saw the two armored figures both appearing to be uninjured as well. Star Khan stood back upright, a scowl on his face as he flew towards the costumed criminal. "Enough!" He yelled as he managed to connect with a right hook with an audible *WHAM* as Explodo was sent flying backward half a block before slamming into the back of a parked van with a loud *THUD* and the falling to the pavement unconscious.

Okay, Explodo will try again with his explosive, tossing it at the ground in front of Predator and Star Khan. Star Khan will interpose for Predator. Explodo gets a 23, which just misses Star Khan, so the explosion just misses the two as it damages part of the street and parked cars. Star Khan will then try to punch him again, hitting with a 24. Explodo gets a 18 vs DC 29, so he is staggard and dazed and goes flying back half the block till he slams into a parked van (DC 24 toughness save) and he gets a 13 on the second roll, so it out! Going to make a GM post, then we are out of combat (for now), so people can start posting dealing with the fire and helping civilians, etc.

GM The new Star Kahn flew alongside the Xeno as Starshot slowed the vessel down and started in closer to the mountain tops. They were able to find a path that did not take them too close to any of the airborne Sarcota, as they continued to move around the mountain tops in seemingly random patterns. "I am afraid my experience is rather limited as well." Kinarr replied over the comms. Soon they were close to one of the major ravines, the source of the magical energy signatures that Doktor Archeville had picked up. It was big enough that the Xeno could fit inside, at least for some distance, but, if they encountered a Sarcota, either entering or exiting, it might prove difficult to maneuver and avoid a collision in the tight quarters.

Sri Kath'lana Kath'lana and the young Star Khan did not seem to fully understand Cavalier's refence to a "toy surprise" either, but like Space Ranger, both seemed to understand that it was not necessarily good. Kinarr gave a small smile as Space Ranger suggested they all go investigate the tunnel and whatever might be placed within the asteroid. "I understand I am likely to have to earn your trust Space Ranger." The young Khan replied. "I am happy to join in investigating whatever this device may be." Soon, the four had made their way around to another part of the asteroid, where they found the entrance to the tunnel. It was clearly not natural, but bored out by some sort of machine. Looking down into the tunnel, Kath'lana looked over to the others. "I suppose I can take the lead."

Multi-Girl Bernadette had done all she could to help Shift toss the Conquer Worm into the portal Murine had created. The Irish teen grinned with satisfaction when the creature flew into the darkness beyond, but the grin faded when he broke free from Leon’s bindings and started to try to come back through the portal. Thankfully Murnie slammed it shut first, and the connection with his puppets and Shields appeared broken. The redhead clutched at her head when Shields released his psychic scream, allowing Chump to get him free from Luke and carry him away. When she was able to move again, Bernadette bent down to rest her hands on her knees as she tried to catch her breath, dismissing all the duplicates she had summoned as she did so. She glanced over toward Charlie for a moment, back in town and in a new costume as well. There were so many things she wanted to ask, but knew she should not, especially not here. Standing back up, the redhead shook her head slightly. "What a bloody day, first Quirk, then this mess."

Multi-Girl Bernadette listened as Doctor Macedon explained (generally) what they were expected to do, tossing a compass to Carmen and providing a map. "I'm pretty shoor that is what we have GPS fer." The redhead muttered to herself. Her mood did not improve when Baz began talking gibberish that made it clear he had no idea what he was talking about. Carmen was at least trying to work out what to do, and Vueriz at least suggested something that could be useful, but that the Irish teen was pretty sure they would not be allowed to do. “While that is a good idea Vueriz, we are not supposed ta use powers." Bernadette said to the small alien girl. "Yer board might not be a true power, usin' it like that might be the same as usin' GPS ta figure out where we are, assumin' we could even get a signal out there." The redhead then turned to Baz. "Look Baz, bull#@%&in' yer way around stuff ya don' know may be fine a lot o' the time, there are times when ya just need ta admit you don' know somethin', especially if that somethin' is the difference between us gettin’ ta where we need ta, or endin' up lost out in the desert." Bernadette then turned to face Doctor Macedon. "Doctor, I mostly grew up in the suburbs o' Dublin an' Boston, I can generally find me way around a city an' figure out a public transit system, but even then I rely on Apps. I don' know a bleedin' thing about navigatin' with a map an' compass. So, I would very much appreciate some instruction on how ta use 'em."

Timeout Lawrence smirked slightly as FX yelled about his healing Baz’s injuries. The other teen was certainly seeming to let Lawrence get to him, from doing all he could to avoid being too close to getting upset about Lawrence reversing any injuries that had been inflicted. And then FX pulled out what appeared to be a new trick, sending a flaming ball of fire down at the trio. A temporal rippled swept over Lawrence as the explosion reached him, and when it had passed, the blond teen was standing there completely untouched by the shockwave or flames. And then Baz did the exact opposite of what he had suggested, shoot his laser beam at FX instead of the creature near them. Thankfully Michael focused on it, delivering a powerful blow that knocked it out and cause it to revert back to two of the Starblights. So Lawrence turned toward the last creature near them, holding up a hand as he released a smaller burst of temporal energy, only focused on the creature and bypassing his friends. But once again, the creature was unaffected by the attack…

Timeout Lawrence gave Consuelo a slightly confused look as she mentioned people trying to kidnap him. "I think you might have misunderstood, I said there was a cosmic entity that had previously tried to kidnap me." He stated. "Anyway, no time to go into that now, but as far new timelines, actions have consequences. Allowing new timelines to form is not something that should be done lightly." "Do you have the ability to determine all the possible downstream consequences of even small changes that forms a new timeline? How many people might die, or never be born as a result?" The blond teen looked over at Ryan as he ran out and helped a little girl get to her parents and then come back to the group, suddenly seeming to have realized he might have changed something. "My mom told me about how she and some other heroes, one of whom would later join the Freedom League around the same time she did, fought this giant robot mummy, keeping its attention on them so the crowd was able to get away to safety and no one was hurt. Helping get them clear shouldn’t be changing anything that did not already happen."

GM Sneaking to where he could get a view outside, Paper was able to get a view of what was going on outside. He saw two other vehicles crashed further down the block. One was another AEGIS armored vehicle, this one crashed into a lamp post. A short distance from it was a large armored transport, similar to what law enforcement might use for transporting prisoners, which was flipped over on its side. There were a number of individuals scattered about the area around these other two vehicles. One was a hulking figure that stood at least eight feet tall, dressed in in dark grey armor with golden sections on arms and tan shoulders. He work a helmet with wo large Golden horns on either side. He was stomping across the street, having just moved away from the second crashed AEGIS vehicle. Scattered around the scene were ten women with long brown hair, all dressed in the same black and pink armored costume, with pink masks and gloves. Each seemed to be carrying a staff, with some idly twirling them, two were next to what seemed to unconscious AEGIS agents. Two of the women were standing at the back of the tipped over armored transport, next to a man dressed in a dark grey bodysuit with light grey armor over top. Them man’s helmet had a visor with a blue lens. Finally, there was another man, standing a short distance from the overturned transport, he was dressed in a black body suit with neon green piping and lines along chest. In each hand he held a large ring that glowed green. Despite his best efforts, as Paper moved out to get a look, the man with the green rings turned to look in his direction. As did four of the similarly dressed women. As they all turned toward him, Paper realized they were not just similarly dressed, but looked identical as well.

Paradigm Amara Val-Ren had been watching the young Star Khan closely once he entered the council chambers. Years of hand-to-hand combat experience (both when she had first become a Praetorian and since awaking in this era) had taught her much about watching for signs of deceit in an opponent. She had further honed that skill once her position as the leader of the Praetorians had required her to regularly engage in diplomacy and with various intergalactic leaders. The young Zultasian before her appeared very different than his father, although, she would admit that her only experience with Kinan Khan had been after he had been captured and ‘modified’ by the Communion. But still, unless Kinarr Khan was a skilled actor, he did seem sincere about wanting peace. And that was when he had turned to her and asked for her hand in marriage. The proposal was so completely unexpected that Amara could only look at the young Khan with shock for a moment, as she tried to consider the best way to respond in a way that would not offend him or somehow jeopardize the possibility of peace he had just presented. The Naram gave a slight sideways glance as Sitara as she came over and asked about congratulations, clearly enjoying the moment. Thankfully, Imperator Th'emme spoke up, providing the perfect excuse for Amara not to provide some sort of answer right then. Kinarr looked up at the Imperator as he slowly stood back to his feet, holding his hands out to his side and giving a slight bow of his head in acknowledgement of the Imperator’s invocation of Delaztri customs. He looked back at Amara, who gave him a slight smile. "I am very pleased to make your acquaintance Kinarr Khan. We will speak again, after the appropriate time, and in the appropriate manner." She said before taking a step backward with a slight bow, before turning to make her way towards a side exit that led back to the chambers of the representatives. The young Khan then turned back toward the assembly, focusing on the Th'emme. "Of course, Imperator." He responded, moving back over toward the podium at the center of the chambers. "May I present Ambassador Malor, who is prepared to discuss any such agreements in much more detail." He added as the ambassador stepped forward and Kinarr moved back over near Justicar Vor'an.

GM The massive Sarcota, a bit smaller than the Xeno (but it was one of the smallest of the creatures in the area) did not turn away from the hard light barrier Doktor Archeville put in place, instead, slamming into it with tremendous force. However, the barrier held firm, showing no signs of damage, causing the creature to turn away from it, a clearly audible sound seeming to escape from it not all dissimilar to those of a whale on Earth. The creature began flying back toward the other circling Sarcota near the mountain tops. "Well done Doktor." The young Star Khan stated over the comm system. "I expect we will want to further investigate the source of this magic?"

Okay, to keep us moving along, I will make the wall's toughness save vs. DC 27 damage from the smaller Sarcota (using the stats for a whale). The wall gets a 30! So remains intact and causes it to divert away and back toward the mountain tops.

GM While Bernadette and Charlie changed, most of the others moved over to investigate the armored vehicle and get a sense of what might be going on. The AEGIS vehicle was most of the way through the wall, bits of loose wall falling down onto the top of the vehicle, creating an opening easily wide enough to provide a way outside. Inside, the visible AEGIS agents were either unconscious or appeared very disoriented. While the side of the vehicle that had smashed through the wall was scuffed up, it was not particularly damaged. However, the opposite side was partially caved in, as if something large and extremely strong had slammed into it. Outside could be heard the sound of energy weapons firing a short distance away and more crashing and other sounds of a fight. A few moments later, Stormcrow and Multi-Girl came moving up by the vehicle, Multi-Girl summoning a duplicate as she did.
