“Okay, I’m ready to go!†Velocity replied, agreeing to Emissary’s suggestion. She zipped over next to Hybrid, holding out her hands to take the device so she could get it back to Freedom Hall in a few seconds.

Velocity breathed a sigh of relief as Hybrid was able to stop the box from teleporting away and Emissary replied to Daedalus’ call. “Good job big guy.†The teen speedster said with a wide smile. She looked over at Emissary as she waited to see if Daedalus had any more instructions. Though she was standing still, she seemed to be about to burst into a blur of movement.

“Yeah, that’s not quite what I would call fighting, but it’s better than nothing.†Velocity began. “But that is very different than some guy with a knife, or club coming after you, an adult guy. Or worse someone that can pick up a car, or shoot electricity. Fighting crime is not like dealing with schoolyard bullies. If they can, a criminal your trying to stop will kill you, or at the very least seriously injure you.â€Â

I am going to spend 4 of Velocity's points. 1 for another rank of Benefit: Wealth 2 added to Con (making it 12/20), which will increase her toughness to +7 (with defensive roll) and 1 point to Running, making it Running 8 (2,500 mph) Thanks Updated by Barnum
