Sabrina chuckled slightly as Kevin admitted thinking Sentry Statue was the name of a restaurant. He must have been really focused on the Football team to miss one of the city’s major tourist attractions, and one you could easily see at the Eastern end of the downtown. “Yeah, I am sure you’ll see what it is soon enough.†She said out loud as she lead him out of the library and back towards where she parked her mom’s 2003 Honda Accord. “Its nothing fancy, but it is reliable.†She said as they got into the car and she started off towards the Route 4 bridge that would take them across the South River and into the edge of downtown, and from which Kevin could get a good view of Sentry Statue.

“Yeah, superheroes don’t really get together for coffee regularly. Always seems to be some sort of disaster.†Velocity replied with a smile. The young speedster then added, “Well, from what I saw on a camcorder, it looked like two comets were flying and the bigger one swallowed the smaller, then this thing appeared. So whatever is in there could be some other unusual aircraft, or spacecraft.†She looked back over at Mr. Fix-it. “Him? His name is Mr. Fix-it, I think.†She replied. “He sounds like some sort of scientist, we should see what ideas he has come up with.†With that she started back over towards him, but a bit slower so Valkyrie could follow.

She looked back over at where Emissary and Hybrid were and in a flash had zipped back down the side of the Astro Labs’ building, crossed the distance to the other building and ran back up the side to the rooftop. “Emissary!†She yelled out. “There is some sort of device over on the main dish over there!†The young speedster pointed over back at Astro Labs. “Daedalus wants you or Hybrid to rip it off the dish, if it is still glowing red, he needs it damaged, but just a bit, so it won’t disappear!â€Â

Velocity sighed, this was of course not easy. The speedster smiled as she recognized the armored heroine. “Valkyrie? She should be fine, she’s pretty tough.†“Let me go get her over to join our discussion though.†With that, the speedster was gone, a second latter coming to a halt near Valkyrie. “Hey Val! Good to see you again.†She said with a smile. “Me and another hero were just discussing options on what to do about this thing,†she added, pointing over in the general direction Mr. Fix-it was with her thumb. “We think this thing ‘swallowed’ something else, and that caused the crash.†She then paused a split second and added, “course, that doesn’t answer where this came from, or what it was that it gobbled up.â€Â

Velocity finished looking over the film, then looked up at the man who had filmed it, giving him a warm, dazzling smile. “Thanks.†Then she was gone in a blur, coming to stop over near the newly arrived Mr. Fix-it. “Well, this appeared as some sort of comet or something in the footage.†She began. “But there were two comet looking things at first. The frames per second were not that good, so a lot was lost, but it looks like this thing somehow ‘swallowed’ the other object and then its flight pattern got messed up and it crashed.â€Â
