Sabrina had gone home for the holidays, all the way to Ashton. But she made her way back to campus a lot during the day, it was too boring at home when her parents were at work. The only reason she had been staying the night there was she would have never heard the end of it from her mom if she had not. The dorms were pretty much empty, so there was little to do after she had swung by her room to pick up some things. She instead headed towards the library, to get online and do a bit of research. As she headed to the main computer lab, she saw there was at least one other student still on campus. She was pretty sure she recognized him, Kevin something or another from the football team. She looked over at the other girls on the squad as she gave a wide smile. “Okay, we have practiced for this all last week, and have been working on the dance even longer. This will be a piece of cake.†Getting all the girls together, she led them out towards the gym. They stopped and waited at the door to the gym as the school’s athletic director was starting the rally. After a few announcements and talking about the next big game, it was time for the squad to make their way out. Megan led the other girls out to the middle of the gym, the squad moving into their positions, with Megan in the center of the front row.
