Was poking around on the Wayback Machine here, and found the old City of Heroes forums I have mentioned before in a few places here. Sadly the roleplaying forum was not archived (or any of the roleplaying threads) http://web.archive.org/web/200111140730 ... /index.php http://web.archive.org/web/200112182344 ... /index.php If you look at the two though, note that the first “picture†of the site (on Nov 14 of ’01) had 8,219 posts in the roleplaying forum, and then on the next (Dec 18 of ’01) it was up to 17185! Lot of posts for month! (and it just got worse over the next two years)

“Hopefully things will be done soon. I’ll see you later. Bye.†Megan said, finishing things up. After closing her phone, she looked at it a moment, thinking again about how this whole hero thing could be a bit rough on the social life. Sighing slightly, she turned off her phone and put it away. A second later she had zipped back over near where the others were gathered. “Soooooo, we going in or just going to stand out here looking like tourists?â€Â

“Oh, I am sure it was.†Megan replied as she easily followed along with Randy as they walzed around the dance floor. “Expelled? You sound like you might be a bad influence. Should I be careful around you?†Megan asked with a slight grin, raising one eyebrow.

Megan leaned back slightly, putting one arm down on the bed as she looked over at Randy. “That would be nice, but skipping out at my school isn’t quite so easy. The classes are pretty small, so I would be missed. Sides, I am pretty sure my civics class is having a quiz tomorrow.†She said with a sigh. “Must be nice to have a lot more freedom in college.â€Â

“No silly, mainly ballroom dancing here, not at school. Our cheerleading squad is pretty much just like anywhere else, lots of songs with highly suggestive lyrics and dance routines that play off that.†Megan said with a smile. Once they were on the dance floor, Megan let Randy pull her close as they prepared to dance. “Of course I can.†She replied with a grin “Had to take all sorts of dance lessons over the years.â€Â

Nearby in one of the FCU dorm buildings. Megan opened her eyes as she felt Randy's lips leave hers for a moment. Tonight had been their first date after meeting during a party at the Midnight Society's mansion. They had gone out to eat nearby and then caught a movie down in the theater district. She looked into his eyes and smiled before glancing over to the side. From where they were seated on his bed in his dorm room, she was able to see the clock on his desk, telling her what she wished was not the case. "It's getting late. I have school tomorrow morning."

“Umm, not sure, depends on when the police are done. I’ll give you a call when I know something okay?†Megan replied. “Don’t feel bad, just one of the things that happens in this town. And believe me, when you see my costume it will be worth the wait.†She added in a coy tone.

I have just been waiting to see if Cory is going to buy Megan's excuse and then I'll wrap up her phone call.

Megan took Randy’s arm as they started towards the ballroom. “Ballroom mainly. But sometimes they have a DJ later in the evening. So maybe we’ll be lucky tonight.†She then grinned as he asked if she was any good at dancing. “I don’t think I would be captain of the cheerleading squad at my school if I wasn’t. If I were you, I’d worry more about being able to keep up.â€Â
