So, below are some stats I put together years ago for star fighter pilots when we expanded things for Space on the site. I used the lower tier template in some of the Incursion and other space threads I have run, never quite got around to using the more advanced, but had planned to, and still may. Pilot PL 4[6] Attributes: 16 Str: 12 Dex: 14 Con: 14 Int: 12 Wis: 12 Cha: 12 Combat/Saves: 18 BAB: +3 BDB: +3; Tough: +4; Fort: 2 (+4); Reflex: 2 (+4); Will: 2 (+3) Skills: 4 (16 ranks) Kn: Galactic Lore 3 (+4); Kn: Technology 4 (+5); Lang: GalStandard; Pilot 8 (+10) Feats: 9 Attack Focus: Ranged Attack Spec: Vehicle Weapons 2 Challenge: Simultaneous Task Dodge Focus Equipment 4 Equipment: Blaster pistol: Dam: +5; Rang Inc: 50 feet Reinforced Flight Suit (+2 toughness; Immunity: Pressure, Cold, Suffocation) Stats (16) + Combat (12) + Saves (6) + Skills (4) + Feats (9) = 37 pp Notes: So this is a standard combat pilot that could be in the Lor Space Navy, the Stellar Khanate forces or even a pirate group. Only PL 4 on the ground, the pilot is a PL 6 inside the standard issue space fighter described in the core book (with his high attack bonus for vehicle weapons helping to offset size penalties). There are technically unspent power points that could be used to apply a template for a particular alien race, or provide some customization. Or perhaps a very experienced smuggler that has travelled from one end of the galaxy to the other. PL 7.5 on the ground, but PL 10 in a space fighter (slightly less in a larger spacecraft). The high attack bonus for vehicle weapons is to offset the size penalties from the vehicle.

Timeout Lawrence watched as Baz delivered the knockout blow to FX, sending the arrogant speedster flying through the park. The blond teen did not seem overly surprised when some unknown voice echoed over the park, addressing him in a rather formal manner. In fact, the only thing about the disembodied voice, and the subsequent disappearance of the Starblights and their handiwork, that seemed to trouble the teen was the unknown speaker’s reference to future encounters with Lawrence. A slight frown came to the teen's face at that revelation. Once the Starblights were gone and everything was restored to how it had been, Lawrence looked over to Mizuki, his slight frown quickly replaced by an apologetic smile. "Sorry, we tried to stall them till you could join us, but that last one was very rude to Baz and decided to start something he was clearly unable to finish."

Multi-Girl Bernadett watched as the green-haired Consuelo jumped into the melee, actually managing to tackle the other and, for a moment at least, get her to the ground. But then the purple-haired Ruin was free and back on her feet. But that was when she took her eyes of the Irish redhead. "Oh bloody hell." She muttered as she moved forward, this time managing to grab one of Ruin's wrist and then shove her in the back of the shoulder and take the purple-haired girl down to the ground once again, quickly grabbing the other wrist once she had her down. Glancing up at Rot, she said, "help me hold her down." Meanwhile, her duplicate looked at the green-skinned woman as she asked what the teen had meant by 'where she came from.' "The security guard asked Dr. Adamu ta show us where the rest o’ the class was. She led us ta a room just down the hall." She pointed in the direction of the room where Ruin had first appeared. "When we stepped in, some artificial voice said somethin' about a power duplicatin' subject being found an' there was a bright flash o' light an' next thing we knew the purple-haired version o' Consuelo was there."

Yeah, this is a situation where a nat 20 does not help (other than to do the best she can). It's good, we can keep going forward Will make an IC post to pin her.

Timeout Lawrence watched as Baz leapt to attack one of the punch the Starblight dressed in red, delivering a solid hit, but failing to knock her out. Shaking off the effects of both Baz's punch and Lawrence's time powers, she stood back up defiantly to call them out for starting things. And then Mizuki arrived, leaping into the middle of the fight and shooting right back on the life-threatening actions of the Starblights than had (unintentionally) brought the Claremont teens into this. Although she made a pretty dramatic entrance, she unintentionally distracted from that somewhat when she pulled off her poncho and still had her life vest inflated. But Lawrence was not about to let that distract from the fact she had arrived. "Oh, did we forget to mention we had another friend as well? Our mistake." He said with a small smile. "And I would note, I came down here to try to talk, your hyperactive friend over there is the one that decided to start things." "But, I think I will 'try that again." He then stated, as he once again sent out of burst of temporal energy intended to render the Starblights unconscious (and again wash harmless around his friend and everything else in the area).

Timeout Lawrence was grinning as Parker asked his questions, already working out what his friend had in mind to help out Vueriz. The blond teen continued into the house and toward the kitchen area. "Of course." He replied to Vueriz's muffled thanks. "I would be a very poor host if I did not do what I could to help my guests enjoy themselves. And an even worse friend." Looking down at his phone and the texts and photo from Mizuki, he smiled slightly as he sent a text in return. Leading Parker and Vueriz through the kitchen, Lawrence led them into a large walk-in pantry. In addition to a door to a walk-in freezer, there was a large freezer unit that the blond teen pointed to. "Plenty of bags of ice in there to use for a cooling pool if Vueriz wants to get even cooler. Grab a few and I will go turn down the temperature in the cold room and be right back, then we can head down to the beach. Mizuki has things set up down there."

Multi-Girl "Oh, we certainly had what that dimension wanted, an' it was tryin' ta keep us there." Bernadette responded. She then gave Neko a small smile, "but if we ever do want ta go back, I will be sure ta let you know so you can come along fer the ride." "Oh, in a couple days at a club called Absolute Zero, in the downstairs venue, the Hollow." Summer responded to Neko’s question about their next live performance. "We played there a couple o' months ago." Added Bernadette. "Sounds like it was pretty well received by the college/young adult crowd that frequents the club, so they wanted ta have us play again." "In addition to that and a couple of other shows lined up over the next month or so, we are working on recording more tracks that we can put up on Spotify and similar platforms for people to pay to download." Summer stated.

Okay, going to go back to the Stun 10 (Fort save (yes, sure that is what it is ) Got an 18 on the attack roll, if that hits, DC 20 Fort saves.

Multi-Girl Bernadette listened as Neko offered a somewhat rare glimpse into her past as she told the Irish teen about her mother's stories. Although she had gotten much closer with Neko since they had become roommates at the start of the year, there was still much about the catgirl that was a mystery to Bernadette. Of course, the redhead did not pry or ask questions, not even on the nights where Neko would wake up screaming from some nightmare. "I'm glad you found somethin' that reminds you o' those memories." At Neko's comment about Michael, the redhead grinned slightly. "Aye, though, a bit too strait laced fer me. Still, a good friend." As she said that, Bernadette looked over toward the pool and Owain, whom she had had something of a crush on last year (in addition to the one she had for Charlie). Owain was also someone that had a bit too much of a…chivalrous manner, not that it did not mean Bernadette did not care about him or value their friendship any less. It was certainly nice to see him enjoying himself as he continued to splash about in the pool with her duplicates. The redhead took another drink of her coffee as she just enjoyed the sun.

Velocity Megan a slight change in Caremn's demeanor at the mention of gaining superpowers and a costume but decided not to bring it up with the teen. Instead, she simply gave Carmen a warm smile as the teen apologized about causing Megan to come to check on things. "Oh, no need to apologize, I rather suspect my son did not do as good a job as he might have explaining what to be careful about in terms of the security systems. And as the route I took was almost entirely across open ocean, I did not have to hold back in terms of speed." As it seemed Carmen had been about to continue on her way, the speedster had just been about to put her mask and goggles back on for the return trip to Freedom City when Carmen stopped to ask her question. Megan looked back over at the teen. "Well, might depend on what the favor is, but sure."

Timeout Lawerence looked over at Johnny Speed and then glanced around at the other opponents and his friends. Focusing back ahead and realizing they were in the final stretches of the race, the blond teen decided it was time to just focus on going all out to beat Quirk at his game. Focusing for a moment, a temporal distortion rippled out from the teen, washing over Mizuki and Consuelo, who suddenly felt their perceptions of the world around them change, as if everything was moving differently, almost in slow motion. "Let's win this." Lawrence simply said to his friends, as he shifted his racer into high gear. Instantly his racer became a distorted blur as was the case when Lawrence used his powers to move quickly through time. Only this time, the distortion zipped forward far faster than the two teen girls had ever seen Lawrence go. But even as the teen sped forward, Johnny Speed's racer also became a blur, shooting forward with a loud *CRACK* and then a louder BOOM as it broke the sound barrier. "Not so fast boy!" They heard the villainous version of the retired speedster call out before he was going neck-in-neck with Lawrence. Meanwhile, the racer identified by Quirk as Aries tried to keep up, going quite fast himself, but it was nowhere near the speed of most of the others, eventually falling a short distance behind Mizuki. Mindfire did not even bother trying to keep up with the others, instead focusing her gaze on Consuelo, as ghostly fire seemed to surround her and similar ghostly fire surrounded Consuelo’s head as the teen felt a searing pain in her head from the psychic attack. As the course took the racers over the South River and back to South Freedom, Lawernce and Johnny Speed had almost caught up with Quirk and were running right in line with each other. The alternate dimension villain looked over at the teen and sneered. "Your mom got lucky with a sucker punch, don’t think you will be able to do the same."

Velocity Megan gave Carmen a smile when the teen indicated she had made a joke in Spanish, the timing and tone of which had suggested she might eat a bird. "Of course." She said with a light tone that matched her smile. Glancing up towards the high point of the island, Megan gave a small nod. "The view from up there is pretty good. It provides a pretty good view of one of the midsized islands, Lovoni, which is off to the west.”"The speedster pointed off in the general direction. "With the main island behind it." "But anyway, as I said before, feel free to explore, part of the reason Robert and I bought this place was to have access to the rest of the island. Just be mindful of the other private areas." Megan stated with another smile. "I can totally understand the need to be out. Part of the reason I made my first Velocity costume after I gained my powers was so I would be able to go out and just run around the city."

As I mentioned on Discord, it is kind of buried in my post above, but I did a reroll for Johnny Speed, so everyone got a HP from that. Also, as mentioned there, the Speed 10 that Mizuki and Consuelo now have thanks to Lawrence is like his own speed, slipping through time (instead of traveling so fast you break the sound barrier, like is the case with Johnny Speed (or Velocity))

Multi-Girl Bernadette was glad to see Luke be a bit more accepting of Charlie's return, though still somewhat critical of his failure to at least let them know what was going on. Of course, Charlie responded with exactly what the redhead figured was the reason for Charlie cutting off communication. As tensions eased somewhat, the Irish teen gave Charlie's hand a light squeeze, then let it go as he began to lead them into the mansion. Although she had already seen some parts, Bernadette was still rather awestruck by the sheer size of the place. Coming from a blue-collar family of Irish immigrants, the house was well beyond anything she had ever expected to see first-hand, let alone be able to visit and eventually live in (once she finished at Claremont). She remained rather uncharacteristically quiet as they made their way into the house, taking in the various main rooms. It was almost too good to be true, but here it was, and Charlie said was for them to use. Lost in thought, Bernadette almost missed the last bit of what he had to say. "Did ya say there is a jet?" She asked as she focused back on him with a small grin.

Multi-Girl Bernadette caught the towel when Consuel tossed it back at her, glancing at the hole in the middle and dropping down on the chair next to her. She watched the green-haired girl fly off toward the beach for a moment before looking back over to Neko when the other girl asked Michael to go get her book from the kitchen. The redhead was quiet as Michael thought about the request (well, the original one was, as her four duplicates were still engaged in a lot of splashing and laughing in the pool with Owain). When Michael left, the Irish teen just shook her head as she looked over to her roommate a moment. "You're so bad sometimes." She said with a smile as her duplicate emerged from the house with a cup of coffee and a bottle of Aleve. Bernadette took the Aleve first, opening it up and putting a couple in her mouth before taking a drink of the coffee to swallow the medicine.

@Huckleberry @The Sailor Okay, just thought of this on a walk this afternoon, but realized there is no reason for Lawrence to not just cut loose for the last to stages. So, he is going to stunt off his main Array an area Speed 10 effect (selective) with lots of extra points to make it really big, so he can be sure to keep Mizuki and Carmen in the area. So, this will replace the +3 speed from the car (like Lawrences Speed 6 replaced it) for Lawrence it stacks with the power he already has for speed. Sailor, that will push your roll to 33! Huck, if you want to stick with your attack for this stage, that might be good, as Mindfire has a lot of perception range stuff, so she does not need to stay right up with everyone to make things hard. Due to their positioning, you will only be able to hit Mindfire. As we are not operating on initiative, will have attacks go off roughly the same time so Mindfire is hitting Consuelo with a mental attack, DC 25 Will save. Assuming you continue with your attack (instead of just speed) Your Crit means a DC 24 Fort save vs drain: she gets a 9, so she will lose 14 Toughness. A DC 29 toughness save: 7 she is gone. Aries is going to try to just keep up with Lawrence and Mizuki, getting a 31 on his reflex check, so he is a bit behind Mizuki Johnny Speed is (unsurprisingly) also pouring everything into speed, getting a terrible roll, a 29! I am going to give him a reroll (HP to everyone!) and he gets a 42! Lawrence is pouring on the speed, getting a 42! So, final, Lawrence has pulled ahead, a just about up to Quirk, with Johnny Speed neck and neck wiht him. Mizuki is next, followed by Aries. Consuelo has fallen behind, but took out Mindfire (and maybe took some damage in the process depending on her will save). TIme for IC posts after Huck's will save. Multi-Girl Seeing Gawain and Neko starting off down the center road, Bernadette looked back over to Starshine, Jotunn and her duplicate. "Looks like it is the obvious path." With that the redhead started off after the other two, her duplicate following right after. The road leading deeper into the fortress was not straight, but wound slightly to one side or the other, without truly turning in either direction. The trees along the path seemed to be rather close in, almost looming over the group, casting long shadows everywhere. The woods seemed unusually quiet, without any sound of birds or other animals that one might expect, even in the Winter. Glancing about, the Bernadette duplicate looked back to Starshine as she spoke in a whisper, "this isn' creepy at all." As the teens moved down the path, they heard the sound of what sounded like the flapping of rather large wings. It was hard to tell exactly where it was coming from in the forest, but at first it was distant, then began to grow louder. Then Neko's scent for magic picked up several magical creatures, approaching from each side the same direction she was certain the sound of the flapping wings was coming from….

Bernadette and her duplicate are both Taking 10 on Notice and Stealth checks (getting 20 for each). Also, just to remind everyone where we are with HP: Neko/Gawain 2 HP Starshine 3 HP Multi-Girl 2 HP Jotunn 4 HP

Multi-Girl Bernadette just grinned at Neko’s comment about not really having anything Musicland wanted. "Actually, part o' how we ended up there is that Summer 'n I very much had what Musicland wanted. But doesn' really matter, I'm not certain there are many people there, other than the Leprechaun that helped send us there." She said. "He also helped to get us back, sort of." Summer added. At a look from Bernadette she just shrugged and continued. "But anyway, we did not see any other people, but there were singing plants, singing trees, singing fish, even the sun was singing." "Bloody thing had eyes an' a mouth like some kids show." Bernadette added. The two girls listened as Neko talked about going to the Moon. Bernadette had learned a bit about the city on the Moon in one of the classes at Claremont, but nothing really about how to contact any of the residents of the city up there, let alone how to get there. "You mean a goodwill concert?" Summer asked. "I mean, it would be cool to go to the Moon." "Yeah, it could be." Bernadette said in agreement. "Question is how ta get there." She paused a moment. "I could try ta reach out ta Velocity from the League, she seemed ta really like our music." The redhead smiled at the other two girls. "But still, while we work on that, no reason not ta focus on what we can do here."

Velocity Megan gave Carmen a smile as the teen indicated she would consider the comment about being stealthy a compliment. "Well, there are certainly many heroes that regularly make use of being stealthy, so, it can be a good asset." She replied. "As for the security, both my husband and I have had some experiences with time travelers, in addition to the normal concerns that can come from being a member of the League. As if that were not enough, Quirk is not the only cosmic entity that has shown an interest in Lawrence. So, we probably have the most robust security system anywhere within a thousand miles of here, if not further." "Oh, which reminds me." The blonde woman stated as she took out her cellphone and began typing. "Sorry, just need to send a text to my husband to let him know everything is okay. Otherwise, we might have Fluer and possibly the rest of the League showing up in the next five or so minutes." Finishing the text, she put the phone away again and looked back to Carmen with a smile. "Well, there are almost 180 species of birds here in Fiji, ducks, quail, swallows, sandpipers, and a whole host of others. Not exactly a bird expert." Indicate the speedster. "Though, not all of them come out to the smaller islands like here."

Timeout Lawrence had walked over to where Mizuki had damaged her punching bag and held up a hand to surrounded it with a temporal distortion, repairing it just as he had restored the one Consuelo had disintegrated. Giving Mizuki a smile, he then went back toward the bag he had been using, but stopped to watch as Consuelo experimented with a controlled use of her power, targeting just the gum on the side of the bag. As the green-haired girl managed to destroy just the gum, but otherwise leave the punching bag undamaged. "Good show Consuelo." The blond teen stated, but then he went silent as he realized she was still deep in concentration. He watched as the shadows swirled around where the gum had been and she let out a yell, and the gum reformed out of the shadow. Lawrence was smiling when she commented about learning his trick. "Excellent work Consuelo." He said with a small laugh.

Okay, Multi-Girl will again try to establish a grapple, doing much better with a 21 on her attack roll. She gets a 28 on her grapple check!

GM Justicar Vor'an regarded Sitara impassively for a moment before he responded. "I am carrying out the instructions of my Khan." He simply stated, noticeably without the arrogance or bravado that was more typical of a Justicar. Ambassador Malor stepped forward, bringing his palms together in front of him as he smiled slightly. "Honored Praetorians, I believe there has been something of a misperception as to the reasons of for the, admittedly, desperate appearing state of this vessel. I will concede that from a particular point of view, we are indeed seeking help. But, I believe Praetor Myothizar has asked the more pertinent questions. The answer should be awaiting our return to the hanger." With that, the ambassador gestured toward the exit from the reactor room and began to lead the small group of inspectors back to the hanger where their shuttle was waiting. As they arrived, the ambassador stood off to one side and up ahead the Praetorians and Rex-01 saw a tall Zultasian, dressed in robes similar to those worn by Ambassador Malor. Although, in addition to the teal and navy-blue colors, the large eight-pointed starbursts of the Khanate were a bright white, and the robe was embroidered with golden accents. The figure turned, reveling the handsome face with grey-blue skin, high cheekbones and a flowing mane of white hair over tapered ears. At first, it was easy to mistake it for the face of Kinan Khan, only, he was far too young, and bore no sign of the injuries suffered at the hands of the Communion. "Praetorians, honored representatives of the Lor Republic," began Ambassador Malor, "may I introduce Kinarr Khan, following the recent passing of his father, the new Star Khan, and ruler of the Stellar Khanate." “Greetings mighty Praetorians, honored representatives of the Republic. I trust the inspection has satisfied any concerns that this ship bears any ill will towards any on CoVic Station?” Stated Kinnar Kahn. "If so, I trust that I will be given leave to appear before the Coalition Council."

@Huckleberry @The Sailor Okay, almost to the end, two more stages to go, and the toughest opponents yet are in the race. Back to the normal formula, a Reflex/Drive check for driving/moving forward (with +3 bonus if you focus on going fast). If you want to do an attack or any other action, give me a roll for that (though ramming will just use the reflex/drive check) Lets go! (and Easter egg, not that your PCs would know, but all three opponents are ones Velocity has faced at some point in her career, with Johnny Speed being one she faced in thread almost 16 years ago, when she earned her spot on the Freedom League)
