As the topic turned to Vicki's powers, the teen focused back on the British girl, trying to gauge if she might be too uncomfortable with the subject. While she certainly appeared to be, not unexpectedly Michael responded with his typical non-judgmental inquisitiveness. Lawrence certainly had no negative reaction to Vicki's admission, having had a foster sister for the last few years with similar abilities. "I am sure with practice you can learn how better to focus those visions Vicki." The blond teen offered with a reassuring smile. "My foster sister has very similar abilities and graduated from here a few years ago. She works for Danger International now, so travels a lot, but next time she is in town I could see if she has some time to meet with you." "As for the students here, there certainly been ones who did not have powers that have attended, but were still interested in being costumed crime fighters. I am not aware of any currently."

GM As Timeout's temporal attack finished dissipating with no apparent effect, the flaming figure among the four holographic villains flew higher up into the air in the large area above the central courtyard of the mall, leaving a brief trail of flame as he went. Looking down at the gathered teens he focused his attention on Timeout. "Since you wanted to start things I guess I should take you out first!" He called out as he thrust one of his hands forward and jet of flame shot forward right towards the blond teen. But as it approached, space around Lawrence seemed to distort again slightly as he suddenly stepped to one side, the blast missing him and impacting the tiled floor and blasting chunks loose and leaving a few small flames still flickering on the surface in a few places.

Timeout Lawrence gave Baz a nod as the other teen got back up, fully recovered, but then quickly had his attention drawn to their new opponents and then the confrontation between Consuelo and Parker. For a moment, the blond teen thought of trying to help mediate things, but quickly realized that could very easily be misunderstood as him siding with Parker, and the last thing he wanted to do was make Consuelo believe she was being ganged up on. But thankfully Mizuki tried to turn everyone’s attention back to the task on hand and Parker tried to apologize to Consuelo. So, Lawrence chose to focus back on the task at hand. "That sounds like a good plan Mizuki, although, if I am trying for one, I may as well try for all." He stated as he took a step forward and raised one hand. A distortion pulsed from Lawrence, moving in every direction at once. As the distortion neared one of his teammates, or the holographic civilians, it seemed to wrap around and skip over them before continuing on. As for the four members of Factor Four, the distortion continued straight toward them, but as it approached, somehow three of the holographic villains managed to avoid the temporal effect, slipping past it somehow. The distortion did directly impact with the massive form of Granite, the hulking figure made of rock, but it dissipated over him, seemingly to no effect. Lawrence lowered his hand slightly, a frown on his face. "Well, that could have gone better."

Claremont Academy Freedom City, New Jersey December 1, 2023, 3:05 PM The last class of the day came to an end for this Friday, welcoming in the weekend. Of course, the students at Claremont Academy had finals looming in the coming weeks, so for many the weekend would hardly be a break. As if that were not enough, the headmistress of the school had suddenly sent word the night before for students to wear the school uniforms for the day, a directive that most of the students had followed at least. Rosalind Sommaripa, Jonah Janse, Bernadette O'Connell, Neko Musume and Owain Jones, where among a throng of other students making their way through the halls of one of the main buildings off the quad. Around them was the typical excited chatter of students, happy to be done with classes for the day. As the group of students exited the building, there was a flash of white light, and the five teens found themselves standing in a wooded area with a light dusting of snow on the ground. They were still dressed in the clothes they had been wearing that day (which in Bernadette's case was a grey and black plaid skirt, and a white dress shirt over which she had a navy blue sweater with the Claremont crest on the left breast), but their bookbags were gone. Up ahead was a stone wall, which at first glance appeared to part of the walls that surrounded the Claremont campus, only, it was much taller. In addition, at a corner of the wall was a tall thin wooden tower that rose up above a stone base. The design of the tower was a clearly Japanese style, with multiple peaks and roofs, likely of the Edo period. As the five teens were taking in their surroundings, a male figure appeared off to one side. "Greetings great warriors, you have a most important mission before you!" The man appeared to be in his early thirties, and was dressed in a traditional men’s kimono of black and white materials, again looking as if it was from centuries ago. However, the man was Caucasian, with blond hair and an impish, childlike grin on his face. "Before you is the fortress of the evil Lord Yamamori, who has kidnaped the Shogun's daughter." The man continued, and as he did, the five teens seemed to leave their bodies as they experienced a bird's-eye-view of what was beyond the wall in front of them. At first glance, it resembled the Claremont grounds, only things were vastly changed. Just on the other side of the wall in front of them, was the area that would have been the athletic fields, only, it had been replaced by what appeared to be a military parade field, with several outlying buildings that appeared to be barracks. Beyond that was another wall, with a gatehouse, which lead to what should have been the faculty residence and the two dorm buildings, but had been replaced by more Japanses fortifications and buildings. The low wall that sounded the gardens at Claremont was still there, only the gardens were vastly expanded, and exclusively of a Japanses style. And beyond that, where the main quad should have been, sat a massive Japanese style castle, rising several stories into the air. Along the various walled fortifications, the teens could see several armored figures slowly walking about. And then suddenly they were back in the forest before the strange man. "Stealth and cunning will be your greatest weapon as you make your way into Yamamori's fortress, confronting his forces only when necessary." The man said, giving a bow before vanishing from sight with a faint *POP*. Bernadette looked at the others, a confused look on her face. "What is going on?"

Claremont Academy Freedom City, New Jersey December 1, 2023, 3:05 PM The final class of the afternoon had just ended for what had been Vicki Adams' first day at Claremont Academy. After her rather eventful tour of the campus, Lawrence had gotten her to her classes for the afternoon and things had started to take on a bit of a normal routine. Of course, she was coming in at the end of the semester, so the school was working with the Atom Academy to provide semester finals that would cover what she had been working on there. As she exited the classroom, Vicki found herself in a crowd of students that included Lawrence Harrow, Mizuki Iwasaki, and Consuelo Nunez. The crowd the four teens were just exiting the building into the main quad when there was a flash of white light. The teens found themselves standing in the main parking lot for the school, or at least, it resembled the main parking lot. What appeared to be a wide racetrack ran through part of the parking lot, leading off into the wooded area around the school. The teens were still wearing the clothes they had worn for the day, but their bookbags were no longer with them. Each was standing next to what appeared to be a combination of a race car and a go-cart, each of a different color. The sound of cheers and applause filled the air, and glancing behind them there was a large stand of bleachers filled with almost cartoonish figures dressed in Claremont colors and bearing various banners and signs for "Team Claremont." Lawrence's eyes narrowed slightly as he regarded the scene, when suddenly a voice rang out. "Hey! Lawrence!" Glancing out onto the racetrack, there was a large figure with a spike shell on its back driving by on a four-wheel ATV, however, the odd figure's head seemed completely out of place, as it was a blond-haired man that looked to perhaps be in his early thirties, but with an impish, childlike grin. "You and your friends should hurry up, or you'll lose the race!" Following alongside the bazar figure was a small, pink racecar/go-cart, which was driven by a girl that looked to be five or six, with long blonde hair and wearing a pink princess dress. She had a similar impish grin to the other figure as she giggled as the two drove past the four teens and called out, "bye Law-werence!" "Quirk?" Lawrence said as he watched the two figures go by, before muttering, "oh, bloody hell." Lawrence looked over to the three girls and gave them an apologetic smile. "I am sorry you three got caught up in this, but we have been pulled into a game by a very powerful extra dimensional entity. I can tell you from experience, the best thing to do is play along, until we can find a way to beat him at the game." With that, the blond teen climbed into the car that was next to him and started up the motor.

Multi-Girl Berandette's face fell as she realized both stalls were full, and did not seem like they were going to be free anytime soon. "Oh bugger." She muttered as she glanced over to Consuelo, who also seemed to be just as impatient. "Let's go see if…" The redhead had begun as she headed to the door, only to stop as she heard the sounds of the other students in the foyer. Glancing back to Consuelo, she corrected herself, "let's wait till they head down to ta media room, then see if we can find another bathroom." She tried to listen to the door for sounds of the group moving on to tell her the coast was clear.

Thanks for cleaning it up a lot LS. Still a couple small things. First, her reflex save should be +11 (+3 for her Dex and +8 spent to increase) How are your calculating her Regeneration? You list it as 12 ranks, but only list 10 PP spent (and up above you list having spent 12 pp, which would be 12 ranks). You have +7 recover (which is 7 ranks, what are the other five ranks doing?

Multi-Girl Bernadette chuckled slightly as Michael arrived and mentioned joining the school’s ventriloquist club. "No, I don' think I had heard o' that club." She responded before glancing over at her duplicates and grinned. "Aye, they can come in handy at times, an' not just in a fight." She responded before bending down to pick up a lacrosse stick that she tossed to Michael. "So, there are probably a number o' things which are goin' ta be different between hockey an' lacrosse. Like, I understand in hockey ye really aren' supposed to raise yer stick too high, no such rule in lacrosse." She stated, holding her stick up in front of her, the net up above her shoulders. "In fact, a lot o' what you do will be up high." "Obviously, the net is fer catchin' the ball." The redhead stated, as she turned slightly and one of her duplicates threw a small, white ball in her directly, which Bernadette deftly caught with her stick, making a raid twisting/untwisting motion as she did which helped trap the ball in the net. "When ye have the ball, ye can run with it an' such. Other players can try ta knock it lose from yer net. An' no hittin' each other with the sticks, that is a penalty, but ye can hit another player's stick."

Timeout Lawrence had been watching Baz's interaction with Neko out of the corner of his eye with a slight smile, but focused back on the discussion with Michael and Parker when Owain arrived in rather dramatic fashion. The blond teen was appreciative that the older student’s arrival did move things away from the discussion of the implications of his powers. "Good morning Owain." He replied with a friendly smile as the older boy clasped his hand in greeting. There was certainly something about Owain, and Neko, who were regularly in each other's company, that seemed a bit…off to Lawerence. But, growing up in the superhuman community, he had long ago learned not to pry into things that others might not want discussed.

Timeout "Cheers Michael, no worries about being a bit late." Lawrence said to the older boy with a small smile. "Worked out well enough that I was able to put Vicki's father at ease about the school and he was on his way." He added with a bit of a shrug. As Michael offered Vicki his sweater, Lawrence glanced at the slight injury on his cheek. "Let me help you with that nick there Michael," the blond teen said, as he raised a hand and there was a ripple in the air that settled on the other boy’s cheek and the injury faded from view, almost as if it had never been there.

Claremont Academy Athletic Fields Freedom City, New Jersey October 2023, 3:30 PM During Michael's new student orientation tour, there had a discussion about the school's athletic fields and Bernadette showing him how to play lacrosse. So, the Senior girl had arranged for them to meet at the athletic fields after classes ended for the day. The Irish teen was dressed in a pair of shorts and a Irish national football team jersey as she walked out onto the field. She had a large bag filled with lacrosse sticks over one shoulder, which she dropped onto the ground. Two of her duplicates where busy moving a lacrosse goal out onto the field, while a couple of others already had lacrosse sticks and were running around passing a ball between them. Resting her own lacrosse stick over one shoulder, the redhead was just waiting for Michael to arrive, along with anyone else that might show up.

Timeout As Strand was removed from the fight and Parker caught Blur, the headmistress' voice came over the loudspeakers once again. "It would appear this scenario is unlikely to continue to pose much of a challenge at this point. Well done. However, some of you are still holding back." "While I do appreciate an ethical debate on the appropriate use of lethal force Mr. Powers, Ms. Nunez was following my instructions. And of course, I fully expect she will take all due care in ensuring the safety of each of you when doing so." The remaining opponents facing the group of teens all then disappeared, as did the maze. The distortion that marked Lawrence’s movement through time moved over next to Gamma Buzz, as the blond teen returned to normal time, walking casually towards his roommate. "Hey Gamma, you okay?" He asked, as he held up his hand and a temporal distortion washed over Gamma Buzz, who felt the soreness from his injury fade away, as if it had never happened, while his leg popped back into its socket as well. The room around the teens then shifted, and suddenly they were no longer standing in a sterile white and grey room, but in the middle of a massive indoor mall. For those that were more familiar with Freedom City, it was instantly recognizable as Millennium Mall. All around them was a throng of mallgoers, who all seemed to be in a panic. The reason quickly became apparent, as at one end of the open courtyard the teens where in the middle of where four figures. One was a blue male figure that appeared to be made of water, which flowed around him. Next to him stood a massive figure at least eight feet tall and appeared to be made of orangish rock. Two of the figures were hovering in the air, one a male figure that was completed covered in flame, the other a female figure that appeared to be made of greenish, white mist. "The difficulty level has been increased, no kill switches this time." The headmistress explained. "And there are civilians to consider as well."

Forgot to add, that during the interlude between the current scenario ending and the next beginning Timeout will heal Gamma Buzz.

Okay, Summers is not going to waste more time with a scenario that is clearly not providing the necessary challenge, so will drop us out of combat for a moment and she will start the next. Everyone can make an not combat action related post as the change occurs. We will need new initiative rolls. Going for a straight roll for TImeout this time, he gets a 27
