  1. Veronica Danger Veronica glanced back at Lulu, giving the redhead a sympathetic smile as she tugged on the limiter collar. "I know it is a pain, but a necessary concession." The young Danger said with her faint French accent. Despite Lulu's abilities being somewhat hampered, Veronica was very grateful for both her and Davyd’s help in trying locate her missing brother. While there was some concern regarding Rex's disappearance, it was offset by the fact he was a Danger. Up ahead of the two young women, Davyd had found Rex's scent. It was faint, but the teenage Danger had clearly headed this direction. Following the scent, Davyd led the group further into the rain soaked forest, following along the path of the Yarlun Tsangpo. As they went, a distant rumble could be heard, which continued to increase in volume as Davyd followed the trial. Eventually, the path brought the trio to a clearing along the banks of the river, where they got a view of the sound of the now roaring sound of falling water. Less than half a mile ahead was a massive series of stepped waterfalls that led up towards the upper portion of the Tibetan Plateau. Davyd still had a lock on Rex's scent, seemingly leading toward the waterfall.
  2. @Dr Archeville He Dok, can you give me a Survival check or Notice check for Davyd to track?
  3. Timeout Lawrence gave a small smile as Parker mentioned not being aware that he had powers. "I would say the same thing." Was the initial reply. "Of course, it is not like it was something I wanted to draw attention to, particularly among the country club crowd." The blond teen added. At Parker's question about what their abilities were, Baz was quick to respond and Lawrence remained quite as his roommate spoke. "Nothing quite as flashy." He added when Baz finished. "I can control the flow of time to a degree, slip between it as I want and even move forward and backward within time and space." He replied a bit nonchalantly.
  4. Mutli-Girl "Oh, sure, no problem." Bernadette stated as Neko mentioned her filming for her TikTok channel, shrugging slightly with a smile. The Irish redhead was well aware of the other teen's channel, having learned of it not long after Neko launched the channel. "I'll be sure ta keep me duplicates clear when ye want ta record." The teen turned at the dramatic arrival of Starshine, giving the other girl a warm smile as she took one of the offered cookies. "Hey Rosalind, how was yer summer?"
  5. Timeout Lawrence gave a small smile as Parker mentioned it had been awhile since the two had seen the other. “I believe it was an event at Silver Gen country club last summer.” The blond teenager replied as he took brief note of the black orbs of energy that emanated from Parker’s hands as he sat down his heavy load of suitcases. He had not previously known that Parker had powers, but there were many who developed their powers later, or just did not go to Nicholson. “Baz and I had more or less gotten situated in our room so were starting to make some rounds to meet our fellow students. You want to join us after you get your stuff to your room?” Lawrence asked.
  6. Multi-Girl Bernadette Prime "Well…our music might be a way ta get out o' here, but not sure exactly how to make it work. The Leprechaun over there says ye need music an' magic." Bernadette replied with a frown before glancing over towards the Duke when Summer asked about him. "Aye, apparently he is dyin' an' wanted ta get ta this place, as part o' its nature is ta fill its inhabitants with life." The redhead responded. "So, he staged this competition ta get a gateway opened ta this place." Bernadette Duplicate "Eww, that's okay, just help us get back an' we can call it good." The duplicate of the Irish teen replied to the Leprechaun, scowling a bit as he seemed to have limited information to help them get back to Earth Prime. When he mentioned the dimension having "antibodies," the duplicate glanced around slightly startled. "That doesn' sound good, likely best ta try n' stay ahead o' them." She said as she started over towards the original Bernadette and Summer, gesturing for the Leprechaun to follow after.
  7. Multi-Girl One of Bernadette’s duplicates was more than happy to engage with Donna and listen to the younger teen as she explained her powers. Meanwhile, the original and Neko were further down the hallway with Carmen. "Summer was pretty good, save for an' unintended trip ta another dimension." The redhead replied to Neko. "It looks like we are roomin' together this year." Bernadette then turned to Carmen. "You okay? Need a hand?" A pair of duplicates appeared behind Bernadette. "We can help with some o' yer stuff." One of the duplicates offered with a smile.
  8. Multi-Girl Bernadette Original "Unfortunately nothing that fun." Bernadette commented when Summer mentioned feeling like she had a hangover. "An' no, those punk girls didn' lay a hand on ye." The redhead then added as she reached down and helped Summer up to her feet. "We've been transported ta another dimension. Apparently it's called Musicland." The Irish teen stated as she indicated the bazaar terrain. "The Duke was workin' with the Leprechaun over there," she gestured with a thumb to where one of her duplicates was talking with the strange orange haired being, "ta get himself here. An' apparently we were the key ta doin' so." Bernadette Duplicate "Well, even good people can do bad things, particularly when their desperate." The duplicate stated in response to the Leprechaun. "But anyway, if yer the door, you should come with us an' maybe we can all get out of here an' back ta Prime."
  9. Multi-Girl The two Irish redheads frowned again as the Leprechaun explained more about the nature of this dimension and how it would be difficult trying to leave the place. The duplicator was not thrilled to hear that magic played some role in getting out of this place, as that was something she had no real experience with and even less ability to use. "Well, music an' duplicates I 'ave aplenty." Bernadette finally stated as she turned back to where the Duke and Summer still lay asleep. Making her way over, the redhead tried to wake the other girl. "Summer…" Meanwhile the Bernadette duplicate remained near the Leprechaun, looking at the strange creature, she asked, "Why do ye think the Duke is connected ta this place? How is he connected?"
  10. Multi-Girl As she was making her way down the hallway, Bernadette spotted her new roommate for the year, apparently dealing with one of her streaming fans. The Irish redhead turned over towards the Japanese teen, while her duplicates continued on toward her room. "Hey Neko!" Bernadette said as she came close to the pair. Another of her duplicates appeared beside her, taking the suitcase from the original and heading off down the hall. "How was the summer?" Further down the hall, the other two duplicates neared the room while one called out to another student they knew. "Carmen! How ye doin'’?"
  11. Timeout Lawrence gave an understanding nod as Baz indicated his backpack. The blond teen had visited Baz's apartment at the Freedom League Special Circumstances building and knew a bit about the Mexican teen's background. But he was going to try to help Baz focus past all that and on enjoying the start of the school year. "Focusing on school and the opportunities here will get you well on your way." Lawrence simply replied as he smiled at Baz’s enthusiasm about meeting some of their classmates. The two teens made their way into the hallway where there were a number of students, some with their parents gathered. But Lawrence's attention was quickly drawn to a tall teen in a white T-shirt that was effortlessly carrying three large suitcases and a dufflebag. "Parker!" He called out while leading Baz over to the other teen. Lawrence did not know Parker well, but the two certainly knew each other, given the travelled in the same social circles within Freedom City.
  12. Multi-Girl The two Bernadettes listened as the Leprechaun explained a bit more about Musicland. "Well, sounds bloody wonderful." The duplicate Bernadette replied when the odd figure finished trying to explain the unusual nature of this dimension. The Irish redhead frowned slightly as she tried to take in what the Leprechaun had to say. While one of her classes at Claremont had discussed a bit about alternate dimensions, it had only briefly introduced the subject. There was an elective course for those that wanted to study the subject in more depth, one that Bernadette had not taken (and had not been planning on taking). She glanced back to where the Duke and Summer were still sleeping. "Whatever the case, he has made it here, now how do Summer an' I get back home?"
  13. Timeout Lawrence managed to weave his way through the crowded hallway. Spotted a couple of people he recognized from Nicholson, but for the moment only nodded or waved hello while continuing on his way. Reaching his room, Lawrence made his way in, finding Baz already there. "Hey Baz!" The blond teen said with a smile as he made his way in to set his backpack onto one of the room's chairs and his suitcase on the floor. "So, you all settled in? I have another suitcase down in the car, but I can get that and unpack later so we can go start meeting our new classmates."
  14. Multi-Girl The two Bernadettes listened to the Leprechaun as he claimed that bad luck kept him confined to this unusual dimension. The redheads became much more interested when he mentioned the Duke needing this place. "The Duke is dyin'?" The original Bernadette stated, uncertain whether she should believe the Leprechaun. As the orange bearded creature mentioned the aroma of the place, the Irish teenager realized she was indeed smelling the powerful scents that seemed to be everywhere. "It is a wee bit overpowerin'." Stated the duplicate. However, the original Bernadette was more focused on what the Leprechaun reveled next. "This place wanted me? Why? How did it know I would be there?" She asked.

  16. Kord Dormitories, Fifth Floor Claremont Academy, Freedom City, New Jersey Monday, September 4, 2023 Like the rest of the dormitories, the fifth floor of Kord was a similar scene of controlled chaos involving students and parents. Three eighteen year old girls emerged from the stairwell into the hall of the fifth floor. The three were all identical in appearance, the same, long red hair and dressed in matching jean shorts and green tank-tops. The only difference between them was what each was carrying, with one having a backpack and suitcase, the next only had a large suitcase (which she seemed to lift with minimal effort) and the last carrying a box. Bernadette O'Connell led two of her duplicates down the hall toward her room for her last year at Claremont, excited to see her friend again. It had been an interesting summer, not the least of which had been her experience at a band competition in Boston. The sooner she got her stuff to her new room, the sooner she could go find her friends and catch up….

  18. Kord Dormitories, Second Floor Claremont Academy, Freedom City, New Jersey Monday, September 4, 2023 The start of the new school year was just a week away, and the activity on Claremont Academy had increased in anticipation. Today, students (and some parents) had descended on the school’s dormitories, getting students moved in ahead of the start of classes. The weather in Freedom City was still quit warm, pushing towards the 90’s, with the humidity making it seem even warmer. Lawrence Harrow exited the stairwell on the second floor of the dorms, a backpack over one shoulder and a large suitcase in tow. The blond sixteen year old’s parents had seen him off at home in North Bay and he had driven himself to campus. He was looking to get some of his things to his room and catch up with Baz so they could start meeting more of the classmates.
  19. Prudence began leading Lulu back down the hallway she had emerged from as the two talked. "I have been well, never a dull moment when working with Veronica." The older woman replied. When Lulu asked whether her friend was in town, Prudence glanced over with a small smile. "She does try to avoid staying in one place too long. But she is here, she made sure that she would be." Prudence and Lulu made their way towards one corner of the floor, where there was a small cluster off rooms off a central area where a secretary was seated behind a computer. Lulu could see a small conference room with large windows that looked out towards the southern part of Freedom City’s skyline. There were several doors off the central area besides the conference room, and through one to the right Lulu could see a small office. Prudence led the redheaded young woman to another partially open door to the left of the conference room, knocking slightly on the door frame before leading Lulu in. The pair entered into a large corner office that had windows looking out the south and the east out past the City Center to Sentry Statute and the Century Narrows beyond. In the section of the office closest to the door were three large lather seats spaced around a small glass coffee table. Set up along the wall to the right of the door were several easels, each containing a poster board with what appeared to be different designs for a book cover. At the other end of the office sat a large desk with two chairs with their backs to the door. Seated behind the desk in a ergonomic chair was Veronica Danger. Despite the professional environment of the Danger International offices, Veronica was dressed in her normal cargo shorts (olive green today), a grey T-shirt and her well-work hiking boots (which were current kicked up on her desk). Veronica was leaning back in her chair with an iPad in her hands. As Prudence and Lulu entered, the brunette looked up from the iPad, a wide smile coming to her face. "Louise!" Veronica quickly sat down her iPad and got up from her chair to make her way over to give Lulu a hug.
  20. Muli-Girl Bernadette and her duplicate walking into the bizarre landscape with a sense of awe and confusion. It was an almost cartoonish landscape, all the more so as everything was singing. Everything, that is, save for the Leprachaun. Focusing on the short figure, the two redheads moved closer. "Musicland?" Asked the original Bernadette. "Ye seem fairly sane, a bit grump, but sane." Added the duplicate. "I wouldn' be so confident about that." The original continued in response to the Leprachun’s request to go to Hell instead. "But, regardless, ye seemed ta have gotten free. Why come back?"
  21. Multi-Girl When Bernadette opened her eyes, she slowly pushed herself upright to look around the room as she regained her bearings. Summer and the Duke were still sound asleep and she could hear music emanating from somewhere else. Climbing back to her feet, the redhead created one of her duplicates to be ready for whatever might come. The duplicate Irish teen remained silent, with no communication necessary between the two as they left the room and carefully made their way back towards the main section of the pub.

  24. Multi-Girl Bernadette listened as the Duke began explaining his theory on what was going on at the venue and with the cantankerous owner. When Summer seemed skeptical about the owner being a true Leprechaun, the Irish teen gave the older girl a look. "Ye shouldn' be surprised Summer. Several classes at Claremont mention that there are all sorts o' mythical an' magical creatures that exist." The red-head then focused back on the Duke. "Assumin' that he is actually a Leprechaun, what are his goals? Why is he tryin' ta draw people here, particularly those that are twins or, in me an' Summer's case, those that have some form o’ duplication abilities?"
  25. Multi-Girl Bernadette followed along with Summer as the Duke led them back to the rooms he had off the stage. Focusing more closely on the old books in the room than she had before, the redhead watched the Duke as he moved over toward them. The strange musical aficionado had certainly gathered an odd collection of books. At his question, the Irish teen gave a small shrug. "Not much more than some o' the Irish folktales me mam used ta tell us. There is an' elective at Claremont on it, but not one I have taken so far."
