Timeout 5 Half-Life 5 Multi-Girl 7 Double the Treble 7 Veronica Danger (Titanium) 1 Test Your Might 1

Timeout Lawrence was glad when Baz moved away from the topic of trying to change the past or otherwise alter timelines. While the blond teen could understand the natural curiosity, but there were many things about alternate timelines that Lawrence was not quite ready to start sharing with everyone he met at Claremont. "Superheroing will come soon enough." The teen replied. "Once we get into the routine for the year, we can always start going out at night to see what trouble we can find." He offered. The two soon to be roommates continued to talk for several more hours, learning a bit more about each other and discussing the upcoming school year….

Mutli-Girl "Eh, don' worry about it." Bernadette responded with a small smile as Summer apologized for not being able to help in the fight. "Was able ta deal with them right enough. Just wish I coulda been a wee quicker at it." The redhead frowned slightly as the Duke commented on Summer’s potential as a pickpocket, but did not interject, and in any event, the pub owner arrived to demand payment from the Duke for the damage done by the two punk girls. While the Irish teen could understand the Leprechaun’s concern about having the damage repaid and paid for, but the Duke hardly seemed like the one to blame for what had occurred. "Sure, I suppose we can help with some research." She offered after the exchange between the Duke and the Leprechaun.

Multi-Girl While Bernadette was generally done with the punk girl’s attempt to justify her actions, but when the other girl mentioned something puling the twins here and goading them, the Irish redhead felt the feeling that had been at the edge of her consciousness since she set foot in the pub. Shaking her red hair, the teen looked back to Mindy once again. "Well, that is one situation where me abilities do provide an unfair advantage, but again, I tried ta have this go different. Now ye two will have ta face whatever the results o' yer decisions are." Turning away from the punk twins, Bernadette headed back over to where Summer and the Duke were waiting. "Ye two okay?" She asked as she came up to the pair.

Timeout "Not really freezing the water, I did not change the nature of the water from liquid to solid nor alter its temperature in any way." Lawrence responded to Baz’s reaction to the blond teen’s display of his powers. However, when Baz turned to the possibilities about altering the past, Lawrence’s expression become more serious. "Altering time is not so simple. While in theory I could go back and change the outcome of an event, it would only serve to create a new divergent timeline where the event did not occur. The original timeline would still exist. Trying to completely erase a timeline….that can have serious repercussions."

The math all adds up, just two small errors (things that were not updated from the old sheet). The last paragraph in background, talks about trying to avoid detection by the Moore Administration (which he was born long after). Toughness and Fort save say he has +14 from Enhanced Con, it should be +10 (which is what you added in for his final Fort and Toughness Saves.

Timeout Lawrence gave a small smile as Baz asked about whether or not they might get kicked out for using their powers. "No, there is no issue with using your powers outside of school. Though, I suppose if you walked into the middle of an intersection and just started using them randomly, that might be an issue." The blond teen the seemed to blur slightly and was gone. "Afraid my powers are not exactly flashy or anything." Came Lawrence's voice as the teen was now standing behind Baz. As Baz turned around, he saw that Lawrence was also holding a glass filled with some water. "But, with the right prop, it can be a bit easier to demonstrate." The teen added as he turned the glass to dump out the water. But even as the water began to spill out, Lawrence's free hand came up, his fingers outstretched as the water froze in the air, a portion of a waterfall held in place. Lawrence turned his left hand slightly, the water beginning to move slowly to continue cascading toward the floor. But then the teen stopped it once more, and turned his hand in the opposition direction and the water began flowing back upward, moving in the exact reverse of its normal motion. After the water had flowed back up to its original starting point, Lawrence moved the glass back underneath it and closed his freehand, the water dropping back into the glass.
-
Timeout "Yeah, she is pretty cool most of the time." Lawrence responded with a small shrug before going quite as it became apparent that Baz was feeling a bit down about his own situation. The blond teen gave a reassuring nod as Baz mentioned feeling a bit homesick with his mother back in Mexico. "I imagine it is not always easy. If I can get things figured out with bending time and space, perhaps we can make some trips back home for you to visit during the year." He then offered. As Baz asked about Lawrence's family, the blond teen shifted slightly, pausing a moment to answer. The teen was very conscious about not wanting to overly highlight the great socio-economic differences between himself and Baz, but also not wanting to fail to acknowledge that they existed either. ' "Well, I will be the first to admit that I am very fortunate to have parents who both come from wealthy families." The blond teen began. "My father is from England, and we spend a fair bit of time over the year visiting there. He has an advanced degree in theoretical physics, but mainly dabbles in the subject." "My mum is from Freedom City. She was a cheerleader, and if she had wanted, likely could have been a professional dancer. But after getting her economics degree, she came back to Freedom City after marrying my father and donates a lot of her time to various local charities and other philanthropic projects." "I also have a foster sister, who my parents took in when she came to Claremont from rural Alabama. She graduated a couple years ago."

Multi-Girl "I tried ta talk ye inta just walkin' away an' avoidin' all o' this." Bernadette responded rather bluntly. "But ye were injurin' people an' threatein' ta injure others, so not exactly somethin' I could ignore. Not that I am some great superhero or anythin'." Initial she had not planned to respond to the punk girl’s rantings about her "cheating" due to her talent and skill, but the redhead felt a slight hint of anger at the suggestion. "An' as ta the competition, I'm sorry, but Summer an' I wanted ta win it as well, an' we both worked really hard on bein' good enough ta do so." "Instead of spendin' most o' yer time practicin' yer insults ta the crowd an' general angst, ye could a spent more on deliverin' somethin' a crowd would not forget."

Along the banks of the Yarlung Tsangpo River Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon, People’s Republic of China Wednesday August 2, 2023 10:45 AM local time Situated high on the Tibetan Plateau, the Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon lay in the eastern end of the Himalaya range, where the great Yarlung Tsangpo River turned south through the range, before dropping nearly ten thousand feet to the lower gorge and into northeastern India. With an average depth of nearly 7,500 feet, it was the deepest canyon on land, and was slightly longer than the American Grand Canyon. Despite the high elevation, the day was fairly warm, reaching into the low 70's. This was tapered somewhat by occasional light rain from the cloudy sky. While the rain was intermittent, it was enough that all of the vegetation in the forest covering the banks of the river in this stretch of the canyon was soaking wet. Veronica Danger moved through the wet vegetation, following after Davyd Palahniuk as he tracked through the forest. The young brunette was, as always, dressed in a pair of cargo shorts (black in this case), a linen Khaki button up short sleeve shirt worn over a grey T-shirt and a pair of well-worn hiking boots. However, given the rain and wet vegetation, Veronica had added a lightweight waterproof parka, which she had pulled out of her dimensional storage when the rain had started over an hour ago (providing similar parkas to her friends that wanted one). A short distance behind Veronica was the third member of the trio hiking through the forest, Louise (Lulu) Beaumont. While both Davyd and, more recently, Lulu, where employees of Danger International, when Veronica had asked for their assistance it was based on their friendship that went back to their first year together at Claremont Academy. The trio where hiking through this remote forest in search of any signs of Veronica's younger brother, Rex Danger III. The teenage Danger had been accompanying a group of scientist employed by Danger International conducting research in the canyon. Two days ago Rex had vanished from the base camp the scientists were working out of and had not been seen since.

Timeout Lawrence started ever so slightly when Baz jumped up at him, but then remained in place as Baz placed headphones on the blond's head. There was a brief jarring sensation as the music began, but that passed quickly as the beat and lyrics (which Lawrence could not really understand) became clear. It was certainly not anything Lawrence was accustomed to, but was not at all unpleasant. The teen gave a nod to Baz as he continued to listen to the music for a moment while the other teen did his dance and ended up hanging upside down from the ceiling. It was staring to be clear that Baz was rather high energy, which was sure to make the coming year interesting. "I will keep an ear out for you. But cannot promise I will be the best source for your collection. Although, might be worth to go through my mom's collection of dance and club music." The blond teen replied with a small grin.

Multi-Girl Bernadette braced as the sonic shock wave washed over her and those around the two punk girls. A couple of the additional duplicates that had appeared blinked out of existence, but the redhead and the rest of her duplicates all weathered the attack fine, with only a slight ringing in their ears. As the sound stopped echoing through the backstage, more redheaded duplicates popped into existence to replace those that had fallen and once again the copies of the Irish teen went into motion as they rushed the two punk girls. There were a flurry of punches and kicks, with several connecting solidly, sending one of the twins into unconsciousness and dazing the other. But just as the multitude of Bernadettes stopped moving, one of the duplicates acted on her own accord, moving up to the dazed punk girl. "Ye should a' backed off when ye had the chance." The duplicate stated before delivering a solid right hook that sent the punk girl down onto her hands and knees, barely conscious and clearly out of the fight. As the fight came to an end, Bernadette dismissed all of her duplicates, now standing near the two defeated punk girls on her own, taking a moment to look around at the chaos.

Multi-Girl gets a 25 on her Reflex save. She then gets a 28 on the Fort save. The duplicate gets a 11 on her Reflex save, but still gets a 20 on her Fort save. Keeping with the -2 dam/+2 atk tradeoff: Multi-Girl will do another area attack, getting a 25 on the attack roll, so DC 26 toughness saves for each again. The duplicate will either continue on her target, or move to the other if that one goes down, but misses with a 15 on her attack roll.
-
Multi-Girl "Or somethin'." Bernadette grunted in return to the twins' question about the redhead and her duplicate as she braced for the impact of the bat when she was unable to get out of the way like Crimson Tiger had taught her. While she felt a slight sting of pain from the impact, it otherwise caused no damage, and certainly did nothing to hamper her ability to stay in the fight. "I'm Irish ye posers." The Irish teen then responded with scowl as the two began trying to mock her accent. "I was tryin' ta have this go easy, but if yer not gon'na settle down, I will just try ta end this as quick as I can." With that, there were suddenly a dozen different Bernadettes that popped into existence near the original. Then, in unison, both the original and all the new duplicates moved into action, rushing towards the two punk girls, throwing jabs or kicks or elbows at them, before moving away to make room for the next. Most of the attacks were not intended to connect, but throw the two punks off balance, before a follow up attack sought to capitalize on the distraction. In a few moments solid hits had been landed on both of the punk girls, with Mindy taking a bit worse than her twin. As Mindy staggered slightly dazed, the first duplicate tossed the bat aside and delivered a solid round house kick to the girl, who somehow managed to stay on her feet.
-
Yeah, she is down to 1 HP. Will have Multi-Girl use the natural trade-off under our house rules to trade 2 damage for +2 on her attack roll and use her area attack power (More Duplicates) to pummel both punk girls. (It is selective, so only them). She gets a 22 on the attack roll! That is a DC 26 toughness save for each. Depending on what happens with their toughness saves, the duplicate will either try to knock out the one she disarmed, or the other (if the first target is already dealt with), (also doing a -2 dam/+2 atk trade off) and getting a 23 on her attack roll, requiring another DC 26 toughness save for whichever she ends up attacking.

Danger International Building Wading Way, Freedom City, New Jersey Wednesday July 26, 2023 9:43 AM local time Lulu Beaumont found herself riding an express elevator to one of the upper floors of the building that housed the Freedom City offices of Danger International and the associated business and non-profits companies under the umbrella of that holding company owned by the family of her friends Veronica and Janus. The redhead was there for an appointment to meet with Veronica (the need for an appointment primarily being to ensure Veronica was actually in Freedom City, given her habit of regularly traveling to all corners of the world). The elevator came to a smooth stop, the doors opening and letting Lulu out into the reception area of the floors that housed the executive suites for Danger International and its various subsidiaries. It was little surprise the area was set up to impress. The large open space of the reception area had ceilings that rose a full two floors above. In the center where several comfortable leather couches and chairs, arranged in small clusters. Throughout the waiting area were various statutes and other artifacts from around the world, very likely items found by members of the Danger Family over the decades, perhaps some even uncovered by Johnny Danger himself. Ahead of Lulu was a long reception desk, behind which sat a couple of women in professional attire. To either side of the desk were stairways that wrapped up to the floor above, which divided from the towering open area of the reception area to what were likely office or meeting rooms. There were also two hallways (one to either side of the desk/stairs) which led back along the current floor as well. To either side of the room were large glass walls, enclosing large conference rooms and towering windows that looked out over the skyline of the Wading Way. To Lulu's right the view was of the three massive towers of Pyramid Plaza, while to the left were views toward the heart of the city center. As she made her way toward the reception desk, one of the women seated behind it looked up with a friendly smile. "How may I help you?" But before Lulu could answer, a familiar voice range out from behind the redhead. "It's alright Mary, I can see to Ms. Beaumont from here. She is meeting with Veronica." Turning around, Lulu saw Prudence (the often omnipresent personal assistant to Veronica and Janus during their time at Claremont) emerging from another hallway to one side of the bank of elevators. While Lulu knew Prudence would often "dress down" when in the field with Veronica, it was unsurprising that today she was dressed in impeccable business attire and glasses. As was so often the case, Prudence was holding a small iPad in one hand. "It is good to see you again Lulu." Prudence continued with a more familiar tone, offering the younger woman a genuine, yet professional, smile.

Timeout Lawrence just grinned at Baz’s excitement as he sat down the box with the rest of the pastries on the counter. So far Baz seemed to be taking things in stride, the blond teen hoped that would not change as they actually got into the school year and classwork started piling up. Of course, Lawrence would be happy to help insure that did not get too overwhelming. As Baz asked him about what sort of music he liked, the teen focused back on Baz. "I am pretty easy going with regard to music, liking a lot of different types. Never been particularly focused on any specific performers or genres of music, so often listen to a lot of different things. My mother probably knows more about whatever the current music fads are than I do."

Multi-Girl Bernadette tensed up with anger as the two punk girls continued their wild assault on everyone and anyone. When the pair focused on her, the Irish redhead went into action. "While I'd agree some o' those things are a problem, this isn' the way ta go about it." She stated as she moved up to one of the two punk girls and tried to grab the baseball bat from her hands. However, the dim lighting and chaos around her where something of a distraction as the punk girl managed to pull the bat away just before Bernadette could grab it. But even as the main Bernadette failed to disarm one of the punk girls, one of her duplicates moved out of the shadows and came up behind the other punk girl, who was pulling back to try to hit the original now that she was in range. "No, none o' that." The duplicate stated as she grabbed the other punk girl's bat and pulled it from her grasp.
-
Multigirl's toughness save is a 14 (stupid natural one), I will use the HP she got from the performance and reroll, meaning the lowest she can get is a 23, so she passes the check. Did you want to throw in a GM post for those attacks before I go again?
-
Okay, Multi-Girl is going to try to disarm one of the punk girls, getting a 17 on the attack roll, if that hits, she gets a 21 on the associated strenght check. Her duplicate will try to disarm the other punk girl, getting a 18 on the attack roll, and, if it hits, a 16 on the strength check.

Multi-Girl Oh bloody 'ell. Bernadette thought to herself as she saw the two punk girls making their way towards the Duke's office. Another of her duplicates appeared and turned to jog back towards the Duke’s office, warning Summer about what was going on along the way. The redheaded teen then moved into the path of the pair, her other duplicate remaining in the shadows of the backstage area for the moment. "I think that's far enough ye lot." Bernadette called out as she came to a halt in the path of the two punk rock girls. "How about ye just calm down an’ be on yer way, before things really get out o' hand."
-
Multi-Girl Bernadette listened to the Duke as he discussed his interest in the arts and distaste for business and paperwork with a slight bit of amusement. But then her expression became a bit more serious as he asked about if she had felt something unusual, something that might have drawn her to this competition. "Well, I didn' think there was anythin' that drew me here. But…once we were here, there has been somethin' pullin' at the back of me mind. Almost callin' out ta me duplicates." The redhead admitted. As she said that, she heard a sound out towards the stage area that drew her attention as a scowl came to her face and one of her duplicates leapt back into existence. "Sorry, I think I hear somethin' out by the stage. Just be a moment." The duplicate stated as she started out the door to investigate.
