  1. Multi-Girl (original) Bernadette and her duplicates where focused on Sportsman as rolled a baseball her direction. Uncertain what to expect, the Irish redhead began moving away from the object when it exploded. Although she had gotten some distance from the center of the explosion, part of the concussive force still caught the teen, causing a slight jolt of pain along her left side. Two of her duplicates had been hit harder by the blast and disappeared as they went unconscious. But as soon as those two were gone, three more appeared in their place, an angry scowl on their faces that matched that on the original Bernadette’s. "Alright, ye got the first shot in, but gonna take better than that!" The Irish teen called out to the supervillain. Then she and five of her duplicates all started rushing towards Sportsman at once, covering the distance in a moment. The speed and sheer number of figures coming at the same time seemed to catch Sportsman slightly off balance as he seemed uncertain which direction to move to avoid the rush. And then it was too late to go anywhere as Bernadette and two duplicates tackled the villain, taking him down to the hard floor. No sooner was Sportsman down on the ground than other duplicates pinned down an arm or a leg and in seconds he was buried under the six redheads. Multi-Girl (duplicate with others) The duplicate Bernadette started heading back towards where the original was, trying to not move too quickly and leave Nevermore or any of the others behind.

  3. Multi-Girl gets a 24 on her reflex save, then a 16 on her tough save vs DC20, so a bruise. Multi-Girl will then rush forward with several duplicates and try to use her Engulf Snare attack on Sportsman. Will use the default trade off for -2 effect and +2 to hit, getting a 28! on her attack roll, a critical hit! Thanks to the critical hit, that is a DC 25 Reflex save against the snare. Because it is an Engulf Snare, just failing the save means he is bound and helpless.
  4. Multi-Girl "I know next ta nothin' about magic as well." Bernadette responded to Natalia. "But as fer choosin' a church over a concert hall or the like, well, I guess it really depends on how they ended up here in the first place I suppose." She stated, continuing to watch the scene above as Owain flew up near where the first image Ryder had spotted had gone. The Irish redhead (and her duplicates) remained quite as Ryder called his sister to try to request some alcohol with food. When El arrived with Jenny the redheaded teen made her way over toward the food with a smile. "Indeed, thank you for bringin' the food." She added to Owain's thanks. Taking some pizza, Bernadette looked over where Neko was trying to set out some food choices to see if any of the figures in the paintings would be interested. She glanced back over toward Ryder. "Any thoughts on what music ta play next if they are not interested in food?"

    Velocity "I know how you feel." Velocity replied to her teammate with a smile. "Most of the students out there are too young to remember when I was a teenage hero myself. The youngest where not even born when I started out." The speedster caught site of Effigy as she began her dramatic entrance, turning to face the direction the teen was approaching from to watch her make her landing. "Good morning Effigy. I'm Velocity and this is Gabriel." The speedster replied with a warm smile before a puzzled look came to her face. "Isn't one of your classmates supposed to be meeting with us as well?"

Kath'lana responded to Corsair with a slight snarl as Space Ranger guided the Star Lance into the main docking ring of the orbital city. The Star Knight turned toward Sitara as she added her thoughts. "With all due respect Praetor, involving the Lor law enforcement is likely to be counter productive. This group is operating within the heart of a major Lor orbital city. I would image they are not interested in drawing unnecessary attention, so it would stand to reason they would want to keep their distance from two newcomers who are being hunted."

    Claremont Academy, Leonard Fox Auditorium Bayview, Freedom City, New Jersey Wednesday November 3, 2021 Inside the front entryway to the large auditorium building on campus waited two members of the Freedom League for the pair of Claremont students they had been paired with. One of the League members was five foot five woman in a recognizable bright yellow form-fitting bodysuit with a this black and white checkered pattern strip running down the side of the arms and legs. Most of her head was covered in a matching yellow mask, with only the lower part of the face exposed. Long brown hair in a ponytail stuck out the back of the mask and a pair of hi-tech, mirrored goggles covered the speedster’s eyes and upper half of her face. Over the last few years, Velocity had actually become much more acquainted with Claremont, if from behind the scenes. Over the last three years she and her husband had been foster parents for a Claremont student. Next year, her own son would be a freshman at the school. But of course, today was not about her connections with the school, it was about what her and her fellow League member might be able to do in terms of assisting a pair of current students.

With the last remaining pig still paralyzed, the Englishwoman focused back on the wolf. She unleased a blast of red psychic energy at the wolf’s mind, which sent it staggering backward before it collapsed to the ground. <Alright, just the last pig to deal with. The we get to sort out what all of this about.>
  13. Veronica Danger Veronica nodded with a small grin at Davyd's comments about enjoying the adventures he had accompanied her on. She remained quiet as firs Ace and then Andromeda spoke up. The other woman’s enthusiasm and unique perspective was, as it so often was, an upbeat and unfiltered view of things. As Ace turned back to what Davyd's goals were, the teenage Danger again focused back on Davyd. "The various foundations and companies under Danger International are regularly involved in disaster relief and humanitarian missions across the world. I should have asked if you or others wanted to join me on some of those over the last few years." "If you do want to focus on the film/television industry, there are certainly connections Danger Media has that could help along that way. But for myself, I would more than welcome having you join me for any of the projects I am working on that you might find interesting."

Bernadette responded and then there were suddenly two additional version of the Irish redhead standing next to her. "We are also a lot stronger than we look." Replied one of the duplicates. "We can communicate mentally, know what each of us are thinkin'." Replied the second duplicate. "So far, other than havin' lots o' hands for work an' the like, I have mainly just used a swarm o' duplicates ta help me the few fights I have been in so far. We are able ta work together a bit," the original Bernadette continued, "the last few years I was on a lacrosse team up in Boston, so am used to workin' as part o' a team."
  15. Veronica Danger As the plan was set, Veronica had focused a few moments and she began to glow with golden mystical energy. It pulsed for a few moments and then spread out through the room, washing over all the others gathered as they were warded against the Carrion Queen’s necromantic magic. As the doors were opened and the chaos in the main hall reveled, Veronica reached into her dimensional pocket and drew out her two climbing axes, wielding one in each hand. As she readied the climbing axes, she began shifting the nature of some of the gems embedded in the amulet around her neck and prepared to defend herself and the others that were going to be trying to banish the threat.

Also, after protecting everyone as above, Veronica will do the following with her variable pools: For Gem 1, she will do the following: 2PP for 2 ranks of Attack Specialization with her Climbing Axe device (for +4 to hit with them) 1PP for 1 rank of AF: Melee (making her total attack with her Climbing Axes equal +11) 2PP for +8 ranks of Acrobatics (up to 15 ranks, giving her a total of +20) 2PP for +7 ranks of Notice (up to 15 ranks, again putting her at +20) For Gem 2, she will gain +10 Str.
  17. Multi-Girl Bernadette O’Connell made her way to Claremont’s gymnasium to meet the mentor she had been assigned to. She had heard that Crimson Tiger was a Claremont alumna and was a skilled fighter who actually did not have superpowers. Oddly enough, the Irish redhead had to agree that working with someone that could actually help her handle herself better in a fight was something she needed. The teenager had not been exactly sure what she should wear to meet Crimson Tiger. Given that the more experienced heroine wanted to meet at the gym, Bernadette assumed their meeting would include some sort of physical activity. But she also had not felt quite right just wearing some workout clothes. Ultimately, she had opted to wear her Claremont uniform, as it allowed enough freedom of movement for any sort of physical activity. Mali did not have to wait too long before Bernadette entered the work out room. The five foot nine inch teenager had her long bright red hair pulled back into a ponytail to better keep it out of her way. Heading straight to Crimson Tiger, the Irish teen gave a small smile. "'ello, I hope ye haven' been waitin' too long. I'm Bernadette." She said with a noticeable Irish accent.
  18. Veronica Danger Veronica gave a small smile and a nod. "That is about the basics of it. Getting accustomed to shifting your weight can be something of a concern, but if your grandfather had something similar on Korus you could practice on, that should be good enough. In any event, we should be going a steady speed till we get out of the city." The teenage Danger responded as she put on her helmet and climbed onto her bike. Smiling behind the visor of her helmet, Veronica showed J'onn how to get the Danger Cycle started and the pair started off. As she took the lead, the brunette adventure activated her Danger Cycle's navigation system, to get her the quickest directions to where she had estimated the next clue in this scavenger hunt would be.
  19. Synapse will target the wolf with a mental blast, so that is a DC 27 Will save against the mental damage.

So, unless anyone has any other suggestions, Veronica will power stunt the following off her Magic Array: Immunity 10 (Necromatic) (Extras: Effects Others; Area (50' radius base); Feats: Selective; Progression 2: Area (up to 250' radius) for 33 PP. She will use this to protect all that want some protection.
  21. Velocity "Well, keeping up with all the nuances of employment law can be tricky, particularly when it applies to minors." Megan replied with a small shrug and a smile. "But in any event, we can figure out a time." When Lynn asked about bringing out the food, the blonde woman responded back with a wide smile. "Sure, let’s dig in." Megan waited as her friend went and retried the cart with the various serving dishes. When Lynn mentioned wanting to say a prayer first, Megan bowed her head as well as Lynn gave the prayer in both Hebrew and English. Looking back up as Lynn finished, Megan gave a broad smile. "This all looks and smells fantastic." The blonde speedster stated.
  22. Veronica Danger "Oh, Paris is Paris." Veronica replied to Davyd with a smile a small shrug of her shoulder. "It is fun and exciting, but…at least to me it suffers the same problem so many other places do. It is still just one place when there are so many others out there to be experienced. Thankfully I am not nearly as tied there as I was while at Claremont." The teenage Danger then focused everyone as Davyd explained his concerns and then Andromeda offered her thoughts on how to establish boundaries with those that might wish to exploit Davyd’s abilities. "Thank you Andi, I think I am good," the brunette responded to Andromeda’s offer of lemonade, "and while I certainly have heard plenty of wisdom from Ace, it never hurts to hear a bit more." She added. And sure enough the ageless adventure began to ruminate more on the issues Davyd was struggling with. "Well, sadly there are so many that still only think of the world as a zero sum game." Veronica responded to her uncle. She then focused back on Davyd. "But, beyond putting Andi's great advice on setting necessary boundaries should you be approached by any apparent intelligence agencies, do you have more specific ideas on how you want to use your abilities to make positive contributions to society? Over the last couple years you have gotten a taste of some of the things Danger International is involved in, but there is so much more than developing green energy rally cars for races across the Sahara or expeditions to haunted shipwrecks."

  24. @Tiffany Korta Tiff, with Veronica's magic sense/awareness being able to look through walls, etc, is she able to get any sense of what the Carrion Queen might be up to in the main hall? Is she casting any spells or doing other magic?

Sri Kath'lana Kath'lana was glad that Corsair had quickly suggested she join him in disguise in attempting to make contact with the smuggling group and then seemed happy to have Traveller and Space Ranger join as well. The young Star Knight was still not entirely certain how far they could trust Corsair, although she did recognize he seemed sincere in wanting to make amends for his past as a criminal. "I can certainly deactivate the armor to move about more discretely." The F'terrix responded. "However, I would expect I would not nearly do as well in trying to fit in among such elements as you, or Praetor Sitara." "I am willing to accompany you in trying to make contact with the group. Unless we fell it would be better to have at least one of us in reserve if needed."
