  1. It's on the wall. The pod has a door, which is open, but in order to get into the next room, you need to get the sealed hatch open. I fixed the post. Sorry about that.
  2. You can make a Int roll to get a hint on how to get through the door... or you might already have a good idea. ;)

  4. Her fist collided with the man's face, throwing him back against the wall stacked with medical supplies. The entire rack fell over, completely covering him in loose gauze, specimen jars, and other things that Velocity chose not to identify. Stillness filled the room again, shattered only by the rhythmic *thump-click-click-click-thump* of the pod at it attempted to complete it's journey. Now that she was in a position to check out the inside of the container, she saw that it was empty. But It was obviously meant to hold a human body, judging from all the life support gear she could see inside. What it was doing there, and what this room was for... well, she could only guess. However, since the hatch on the opposite wall was still sealed, she'd have to get through it if she wanted to see what all this was about.

  6. Ren looks up at the armored form of Icarus, then back down at his very unarmored and undisguised self. Suddenly, he felt very naked. "Beautiful..." he grumbled to himself. At least Sean had already seen him without his armor, so it wasn't catastrophic, but still... "Look, the armor isn't important right now-" Ren's jaw dropped as he gazed out among the DMZ-esque surroundings. For a couple moments, he's completely speechless. Then he looks back at Icarus, an expression of fury written all over his features. "What did you do?" he ground out from between clenched teeth.

  8. Nanowire glanced over his shoulder at the humanoid robot that had followed him up to the rooftop. It wasn't attacking him - always a good thing - but the morphological properties of the machine itself were still unknown to him. Was it shifting into a combat form? While still sifting through the mountains of data, Nanowire said, "Something I can help you with?" All of a sudden, the data stream stopped. He knew it all now. Well, not all. He still needed to take some time to truly understand all that he had learned, but the entirety of the infodump had been assimilated. One thing highlighted itself in his brain, however: the Sentinals wanted to destroy every device more advanced than a cotton gin, and that was not going to happen on Nanowire's watch. He liked his TVs, iPods, and computers, thank you very much.

  10. Though he was not sure who these people were, or what they were capable of, Ren had a bad feeling about all of this. Normally, he'd be able to simply flick these women into unconciousness (or better yet, get them to go away) and be done with it. Armored up, the woman currently struggling to not black out would have been well and truly boned before the fight even began. Without his ultratech improvements, however, Ren was all too vulnerable to attack. He did have one ace, though. Lynn was still cloaked, and hopefully, she'd be able to create some havoc with those claws of hers. What she needed was a distraction. Ren suddenly popped out from behind his hiding place, hands held high. "Don't shoot! I'm unarmed!" Well, currently, anyway... "Look, whatever you want, just take it and leave, alright? You don't need to involve these people." He spoke slowly and carefully, edging his way around the tables between him and them. With any luck, they'd focus on him, leaving Lynn free to do her thing.

  12. Daisuke started off badly in his attempts to hide. He went towards the closet at first, but the mermaid girl got there before him, and he wasn't too sure she'd be amenable to sharing her spot. Underneath the bed would be a better place, but he wasn't sure about the clearance. What if he got stuck? The feet pounding steadily closer to the door and the magical girl's increasingly desperate expression got him moving again. Under the bed would have to do. His mad scramble and sliding dash caused the entire thing to lurch upwards and thump back down, but other than that, he was fairly well hidden under the sheets that hung over the sides. Daisuke involuntarily shivered in his hiding place. The man sounded far too much like his own father... and all the pain that went with that fact.

  14. Oh, right, yeah... initiative, that's what I forgot... Sorry 'bout that. Anyway, the MiB guy's init is 27. Good, but I'm thinking you can beat that.

  16. Ren got up slowly, shaking the excess water (he prayed it was just water) off his arm while grimacing at the state of his clothing. His jacket was a total loss on the end of both arms, though. On one side, it had been burned off by the tremendous heat coming from the lightning gun he employed. The other had been sheared away by the nanobots reaching out for his various power sources. Added to that was the fact that water (again, let it only be water) got all over his pants, and Ren was more than a little miffed at these would-be robbers. And Ren stopped dead, suddenly shocked into inactivity by the bizare comment coming from Lynn's mouth. Did she just say... but that's not... Finally, he shook it off and started towards the door. The girl was a shapeshifter, after all. He should have seen that one coming. "Right behind you," he said to Grim, inconspicously lagging behind. Maybe if he got to the kitchen, he could actually be of use in the fight...

  20. "Ohhhh... creepy," Ren said with a slight shudder. "It's alright, I'm not in trouble or anything, but..." he jerked on his hand a couple times, trying to bring it back through. When it became obvious that was impossible, however, he frowned. "Crap. I guess I am in trouble. It's stuck." He leaned back away from the mirror, holding himself at an angle that would have been impossible had his limb not been trapped. "Weird. It feels warmer on the other side." Straightening back up, he took one last look at Lynn and gave her a crooked smile. "Guess I'll see you on the other side." Ren took a deep breath, and strode through the liquid surface of the mirror.

  22. Ah, don't listen to her. She's just mad 'cause her ability to post gentlemen in slingshots has been hampered. :)
