  1. Wow, Hal's been working out. That's a heck of an eight-pack.

  3. Would it be possible to make a special kind of attack here? Since Nano blew the hell out of the sink last turn, water has to be everywhere. Electricity and water don't mix too well, so... I think you can see where this is going. In any case, would it be possible for me to nuke Jawbreaker by aiming at the floor? I'd have to warn Grim to get up on a toilet, or dig her claws into the ceiling or something, but other than that, it should work. I'd prefer to use a hero point to justify this, but I'm currently without. (D'oh! )

  5. Ren sputtered a bit when Lynn revealed her far above average hearing abilities. "No! Of course not! I mean... it's not like I was looking or anything..." Note to self: when mumbling, only do so in Japanese. "... they're fine, just the right size for your..." He turned back to his own container and began frantically digging into it. "So! That wand! Where is that thing, d'ya think?" After a moment, though, Ren looked up from his crate. "Wait, your mother? Wow... um, you might want to break up her and Sean then. You know, unless you like the idea of Icarus being your dad in the future."

  7. Updated Collateral and High Note. Collateral, do you want your APs raised as well? You do have enough pp in the parent power to raise most of them.

  9. Jason Statham and Jeremy Clarkson. (I'm a total anglophile, I know. ) The former because he harms people in such a brutally over the top way that the first time I saw "The Transporter" I thought it was a comedy. And the latter because he is quite possibly the worst person on the face of the earth and is hilariously funny as a result.

  11. "I feel sooo reassured by that," Ren replied sarcastically. Once it appeared that she wasn't going to stop looking for the wand in question, he rolled his eyes and dug into the nearest container of junk in search for the same thing. "Lookin' for something that's going to kill me," he mumbled half-heartedly as he did so. "Must be nuts... That's it, I'm crazy. She's gone and driven me off the deep end. Useta be a villain... okay, I sucked at that, but still, I didn't answer to no one... except my landlord... man, I need to get that jerk to look at my friggin' sink, leaking all the time..." He stopped for a moment and looked over his shoulder at Lynn's backside as she rifled through her own area. "'Kay, so I'm not completely crazy, just a guy... that comes with it's own pile of stupidity attached..." He continued to mumble along the same lines for some time.

  13. The sudden data dump hammering it's way into Nanowire's brain caused him to grind to a halt suddenly, unsure of exactly what to do. The shear amount of information was staggering, even to his advanced intellect. He needed more time to absorb it all. And the first thing he needed to do was get to a safe distance. He blasted off towards the nearest roof and hunkered down next to an air exchange vent. Sifting through the info was an uphill struggle, to be sure, but he was definitely making progress. A couple things became immediately evident - this was a serious event occurring. No weekend conquers, not these guys. Both factions were well-entrenched and had significant resources to their names. What they were doing here, however, was something of a mystery. An accident, perhaps? He needed a bit more time to get all of the missing areas of information filled in. The missing pieces of the board were filling in even as he thought about it. It was just a matter of time...

  15. Total butt. And after all my lead up, too... Alright, Ren just nuked the bathroom sink with something Captain Thunder might have whipped out. That'll definitely draw some attention. Let's hope that Grim can whip out some pwnage, 'cause Ren is not on his game today. I think he still has some lubricant in his eyes after his crying jag. ;)

  17. Shrugging off the girl's pathetic attempt to psyche him out, Ren once again leveled his lightning in a bottle at her. This time, the lights dimmed visibly throughout the restaurant, and indeed throughout the entire block, as the amperage draw increased to it's maximum level. Electrical arcs began to seep out of the protective enclosure, peeling the paint off the metal surface of the stall. "Honestly, you would have been better off trying to hit the guy tethered to the ceiling," he pointed out helpfully, then let loose at her. Unfortunately, the unpredictable bolt of lightning skipped away from it's intended target and slammed into the bathroom sink, blasting the entire thing into shards of steel and porcelain. "Or you would, if I actually could hit you!"

  21. ...and now I feel silly. Sorry, I'm just automatically set to think of powers as affecting things with better than average will saves, so when I saw that, I immediately thought it was underpowered. He still has to tell me whether it's the Perception range one, however. I can't see how it would be that many points for so few ranks otherwise, but I do need his say-so.

  23. Ah yes, the wonderful world of health care in today's HMOs. You should be thankful he didn't decide to biopsy the portion of skin affected by the rash. How does that work? "Well, first we get out this huuuuuge needle here..." *faint* *thud* <---- Me.

  25. You can, but is this the version that includes Perception? Also, be aware that effect is absurdly underpowered. That only provokes a DC 12 Will save, which the vast majority of characters on the board, including PL 6s, can make more than 60% of the time. The PL 10s you'll be up against will be even worse, and will almost certainly be able to make that roll more than 75% of the time.
