Actually, there's two GMs already on it. Heridfel is converting them into 2nd ed, and Cos is going to be running them. Like I said, fantastically awesome. :D

I was actually agonizing over this today. It's the first time I've had a bonehead move of mine called like it is, so I was really worried. Glad to see we're moving on, believe me. Plans are for organized people. I'm not one of them, so I think we might have to wait for Barnum. :)

Whether through plain old bad luck, or the specific clustering of blindly stumbling men, Velocity missed the leader again. This time, he was taking no chances with Raven and leveled a blast at her, but missed the rapidly-dodging woman. She kicked him in return, and this hit made an impact, making the man stagger backwards under the force of the blow. He seemed to be trying to shake off the impact. Unfortunately, three of the other men shook off the flashbang's effects, and began hunting for targets of their own.

I think Nano would be able to power up if he absorbed the kitchen, yeah, but wow, I think those poor chefs would be ticked... I'll poke the various GMs, see if any of them would be interested, or even have the book. I think Heridfel does, but I'm not sure about Barnum or Cos.

Well, I've got two ideas on the subject. Owing to Nanowire's flaw, he cannot simply "armor up" whenever he feels like it. He needs a substantial amount of machinery in order to do so. He might be able to activate his Variable Blaster power by plugging himself into an outlet or the like, but other than that, he's out of luck. Therefore, we could simply have normal punks try to bust up the party. Nanowire's got a fair amount of protection, even out of armor, so he should be fairly well off. But it will be mostly Grimalkin's show, which should make you happy, Heritage. There is one other option: we could use some baddies from the Crooks! supplement. The Clique, who while not upgraded to 2nd ed, would only require a modicum of effort to do so, and are a much more manageable 7-10 PL. (The bigger PLs aren't even the fighters, either) If you don't have that supplement, then I would be happy to be the ref for them. Or it's possible we could get some other fantastically awesome GM to play them. Anyway, that's my plan(s). Would either work for you?

Wow, um... okay, sorry? I really didn't mean to railroad anyone, and since we were out of combat, I assumed initiative order no longer mattered. One of the posts was just a reaction to Cos's character anyway. But I can understand your reaction, and I am sorry. If you feel this strongly, however, I suggest that we rewind this scenario and redo our actions, perhaps in turn order. I am not trying to hijack anything, really. It was just a cinematic maneuver that I thought would be suitable comic-bookish. The worst that would have happened was a bruise to your character. Gone after a minute, and we would probably be talking for much longer than that. I do understand that was not your concern, though. In the future, I will make certain to leave your character out of my posts. Once again, I apologize.

Alright, so it's a new round. The MiB leader has a 23 for init, you have a 42, and Raven has a 19. You are up.

The man managed to stumble to the side just before the marbles flew through the space he'd occupied a moment earlier, but was unable to fire before Raven smashed into him. However, the man was substantially more durable than he seemed, as he shrugged the hit off. He snarled, trying to bring his gun to bear on the new threat.

Okay, Daisuke just jumped off a bridge. With all of ya in his arms. Good news, though. If this is an elevated highway over a road, we're talking about twenty feet. Daisuke himself isn't very cushy, unfortunately, and neither is the car we all fell on top of. That's a +2 damage effect, unless we want to rule that Daisuke did help take some of the edge off the fall, which I can roll for.

Daisuke looked back and forth between the rapidly oncoming elephant and the magical girl. "We need to go," he said slightly desperately as the pachyderm stampeded closer and closer. "We need to go. We need to go. Weneedtogo!" The elephant had gotten close enough that Daisuke could swear he saw the winkles in his ears by the time they finally... went somewhere else. Horns blared and light bombarded him as he stepped out into some roadway. In fact, all of them were there on an elevated highway, directly in the path of oncoming traffic. This was hardly better than being stomped flat by an evil elephant, but he could at least help out here. Daisuke ran at the three other kids (sort of) and scooped them up as best he could. "Hang on!" he yelled at them... then jumped off the road. For a moment, they were in freefall, then gravity took over and Daisuke fell faster than the rest. That helped to partially cushion their fall. The car that got flattened under Daisuke's five hundred pounds helped too. "Wow. That was fun," he mumbled from under the pile of children.

You forgot the trademark. But that's actually true. "Bamf" is a trademarked Onomatopoeia, along with "Snikt" for Wolverine's claws. Marvel has then copyrighted.

Hey, if you want it, go for it. We're pretty much equally GMs on this one, so if one of us wants to introduce story elements, then we should feel free. :)
