Hey, if you want it, go for it. We're pretty much equally GMs on this one, so if one of us wants to introduce story elements, then we should feel free. :)

It comes out of nowhere. Renichi couldn't have been more unprepared for it. Fireworks exploded inside his head as her lips met his and the warmth and soul of her outpouring of emotion filled him. He closed his eyes and responded, settling his hands on her back and pulling her in closer still, crushing her body to his. And just like that, all his worries and doubts fell away. All of his past misdeeds didn't matter. They couldn't touch him here. It was just him and her now. But soon, all too soon for his tastes, it ended, leaving him with the warm afterglow of the act. He rested his forehead against hers, barely noticing that she was much taller than before. "Wow," he said breathily.

And I continue to roll excellently for NPCs. Anyway, that was the surprise round, but you will get to go before the leader does. And assuming you don't tank your init roll (is that even possible?) you'll get to go again.

It didn't take long for the MiBs to emerge from the unsealed portion of floor. Two came up at first, chatting with each other about some "project" or other. The acoustics in the cavernous warehouse made hearing exactly what their were talking about impossible, however. They were armed with some sort of energy rifles now, much more dangerous than the blaster pistols they had before. Both took a quick look around the main floor of the warehouse, then one tapped his earbud twice. This was a signal to his friends, who came up cautiously from the same hole in the floor. There were two more MiBs in the second group, and following them were two more people. One was the man Velocity had encountered earlier, the leader of the group at Denton LaBreque's house. But the far more surprising thing was that the third boy from the original group this morning, Robert Luciano, was coming up alongside him, seemingly at ease with his "kidnappers". Velocity couldn't ponder the mystery of why Robert would be escorted around by the MiBs for more than a second, as Raven had sprang into action, hurling her flashbang at the group. The resulting blast was nearly deafening, even from where Velocity hid. It had it's desired effect, though. The MiBs were stunned, groping about blindly. The only one that hadn't been affected was the leader from before, and he reacted quickly to the emerging situation, raising his gun as Raven moved in.

And this is what I was going for - someone to enjoy the thread so much that they had to comment on it, necessitating the creation of an OOC thread. Thanks, Bar. It's been a real labor of love for me here. I've had a couple flirtations with flat-out melodrama, but for the most part, I've stayed within what I believe to be Renichi's character.

Daisuke flinched away from the bony hand reaching out for him, then stopped as it became obvious it wasn't going to melt his arm off. "Er... thanks?" he offered tentatively. Maybe the skeleton wasn't so bad. That bear he was carrying with him looked pretty cool too.

Yeah, sorry for not having a bigger part for Emissary, but I figured having Superior drop in unannounced might be a bit much.

Daisuke screeched to halt near the edge of the tent, and instead ran up to the magical girl. If she had some way to get them out here without the running involved, he'd gladly take it. He hunched down next to her and her skeleton, attempting to not freak out at the sound of the elephant pounding back towards them. He wasn't exactly sure how this spell was supposed to work, so Daisuke tentatively placed one metallic hand on her shoulder. If it needed contact to work, and the only reason he got left behind was that he wasn't touching her, he'd be in really big trouble. "Um... I think we have to leave now."
