Nanowire acts with a 14. Not bad, but not particularly good either. I guess I go after Velocity tears my head off. If Icarus has nothing to add, Nanowire can make one more comment tomorrow before we start the inevitable gluteus maximus striking. :)

And here everything was going so well... Nanowire grumbled mentally as not only Velocity, whom he'd met before, but a kid with delusions of granduer showed up when they weren't even doing anything. One would think they'd have something else to do. Floods to stop, terrorists to foil, hell, even getting a cat down from a tree would be more pressing than them right now. Now he was stuck in a quandary. He obviously didn't want to go to jail, but starting a fight in an area like this wasn't exactly the best way to endear him to Grimalkin, who was still hanging on his arm. "I don't suppose you would take a rain check on that?" he said hopefully, though not holding out much of the same that they would actually take the suggestion. "I mean, if we get in a fight here, we'll wake up these nice people. They probably have work tomorrow. Do you really want that on your conscience?" As he spoke, he edged closer to Icarus. During the museum heist, he had managed to create a portal that they'd escaped through. Doing so again would mean they'd likely be taking Grimalkin with them, but to be honest, that wouldn't be a totally unwanted outcome.

Nanowire blinked as Heavy, now Icarus, rattled off a response - presumably to his question - that he had no idea where to even start translating. It wasn't English, that was for sure. As far as he knew, it wasn't even a Latin-based language, but he could have been mistaken. He had planned to ask him what that was all about, when he said that second part. Nanowire's brain instantly locked up to the point where he could only stutter, "Hah? Wha..." "Gwa? What did... Well I... I don't really... Ah, that sounds..." Each said in response to one of Grim's questions before she bounced to the next one without even taking a breath. This was all so overwhelming. Nanowire actually felt his cheeks becoming flushed. He wasn't even sure that was physically possible before now. His resistance before her relentless enthusiasm crumbled like a sandcastle under a jackhammer as he felt himself get dragged along by a girl that couldn't have weighed a tenth of what he did. "Ah... well, if you say it's okay..." He looked back helplessly at Icarus, or as helpless as a seven foot tall robot being accosted by a five foot three girl with target fixation an air force pilot would envy, which as it turns out is fairly helpless. Nanowire allowed himself to sink into the pleasent sensation of being wanted, beyond by somebody wishing him harm. It felt nice.

Valkyrie = 10 High Note = 12 Hub = 8 Nanowire = 21 Velocity = 40 and Mr. Fixit = 19 Velocity's first, obviously, followed by me, you, High Note, Valkyrie and Hub, in that order. High Note's not doing so well, though. And we seem to have lost Cheshire along the way.
