I can tell you right now that you only need Immune to Fortitude in order to have Life Support and the like. All of those involve Fort rolls, so if you're immune to begin with, there's no problem. Basically, you overspent by about 11 points on that. Of course, that means you can use them to cause havoc somewhere else. :) -

With a great sigh, Nanowire turned and started back towards where Shinken was already laying into the mercenaries. Maybe this was fate, him meeting up with the African man and Nightrival like this. After tonight, getting jobs would be tougher, but he had reason to believe very few of the men here would be talking to their compatriots anytime soon. As he approached the first man, still blasting away at Shinken, Nanowire had to wonder how the man had ended up the way he was now. Was he a "professional", just as the African man was? Did he share the same sense of honor, no matter how twisted? It mattered little in the grand scheme of things. He looked up at the metallic giant that had suddenly appeared next to him, confused as to why Nanowire wasn't fighting Nightrival anymore, no doubt. Before he could say anything, Nanowire said, "I'm sorry," and smacked him over the head just hard enough to knock him out. "This fight is over!" Nanowire declared, cradling the unconcious man's body in the crook of his arm. "You can't stop me and them, so put your guns down. You do that, and you walk away, free and clear."

Okay, I'll wait for Shadowboxer to chime in on my answer, then start things up. BTW, Internet is going to be spotty for the next few days during the move. I'm basically typing this as I shove things in boxes. :)

I might throw my hat in on this one, but I'd have to get a presentable picture of myself. Read however far into that statement as you please. ;)

Well, Nanowire actually had something else in mind. Was there going to be some kind of truck that picked up the crates?

The other shoe had dropped. Nanowire felt his stomach, an organ he didn't even possess anymore, drop away, leaving him cold inside. He'd been guarding drugs this whole time? Used to kill people? His mouth moved, trying to make a plea of ignorance to the crime, but no sound came out. There was nothing he could say to alleviate the guilt that now pressed down upon him; the kind of weight even his inhumanly strong frame couldn't shoulder. For a moment, he considered stepping aside and letting the heroes get on with their work. The samurai wannabe certainly seemed adept enough at it. But if he did that, word would get out. He'd never be able to get another job again, even one that didn't require him to so badly step over the bounds of society. Indecision warred inside him. Until finally... "You make sure I don't get taken to jail," he hissed at Nightrival, "and I'll help you here. One time deal. In or out?"

True dat. I have no problem imagining the throngs of fans, all clamoring for a moment of her time, so much as a glance in their direction... :D

Nanowire jerks to a halt as his newly dubbed opponent speaks. "Dealers? Poison?" A deep feeling of dread filled the pit of his stomach. Although he wasn't completely familiar with the slang terms of this country, what Nightrival said sounded far too much like - "You mean drugs? That's what's in the crates?"
