"A professional," Nanowire repeated, trying the word on for size. Smoke drifted lazily up from his cigarette, wrapping around his skull plate before continuing up towards the ceiling. Was he a "professional", and if he was, did he want to be one? Doing this for a living seemed... well, wrong, for one, but morality seemed to become less and less important as time went on. But it would also be small, criminally so, if one could forgive the obvious irony. Nanowire knew he was meant for more. "No, I don't think so," he said. "It's a job for me, not a life choice." Nanowire dropped the remains of his cigarette on the ground and crushed them underfoot. No, he would not be so constrained in the future. This was the end of these petty crimes. Whether that meant he'd stop crime altogether, or those crimes would all the more grandiose, he wasn't sure. He took a look around the room as he considered just that.

I doubt it. I'm not a GM, obviously, but if they're not allowing No Save, then I doubt they'd allow this. Besides, what do you hope to accompish with these limitations? Like you said, there's almost no practical application, so why use them? I'd just suggest dumping whatever power you're set on. If it's so specialized, I have a hard time imagining why it would exist in the first place. Why would it give those people no save, while everyone else is fine?

I got one HP off of a GM complication earlier in this thread. Does that count?

Are we carrying HPs over from scenarios? If so, then I'll use extra effort. If not, it doesn't really matter.

Yay! It's a party! Everyone conga! I figure Affliction is up front. I'm the guy with the hat wrestling with the flower girl who is in turn holding onto someone who looks like Abe Vagoda having a stroke.

Nanowire's head came around slowly as the man asked him if he wanted a cigarette. He was something of two worlds about it. First, he got the distinct impression he was being made fun of, the other man chuckling at the scene cementing that opinion. On the other hand, the man handing him the cigarette looked sincere, and the glare he directed at the other man helped to dispel that notion. In the end, Nanowire could only take the man at his word, and helped himself to a smoke. Instead of waiting for him to light it, he simply reformed his hand into the acetylene torch he'd absorbed on the way over. The pilot light seared off a fair amount of the cigarette, but there was still enough there to smoke. There was a possible hiccup in his plan of actually smoking it, though. While his body mimicked many of the functions of it's human analogue, he was unsure if his lungs were anything more than large heat exchanges these days. Nanowire's chest expanded, and he was pleased to find that, indeed, his lungs were still capable of drawing in air. (and the carcinogens contained within) A fair amount of smoke escaped the edges of his mouth as he couldn't maintain a good seal without lips, but the licking smoke only made him look even more sinister. Apparently, you don't need to absorb nicotine from one of these to feel cool, Nanowire remarked to himself mentally. "Thanks," he said to the henchman. "You do this often?" He nodded to the building, indicating he meant mercenary work.

Using my last hero point for a power stunt - ESP 5 (Sight + Hearing, 5 mile range; Flaw: Medium (video cameras) 2 pp/rank) 10 pp. Oh, and yeah, both Velocity and Valkyrie have a stalker now.

Unseen by the two heroes, a little red light came on in a nearby camera. It swiveled over the foyer, taking in the destruction caused by the fight, finally coming to rest on the two superheroines standing around talking. A soft wirr sounded as it zoomed in on Velocity, then Valkyrie in turn. It returned to it's original position and the red light blinked off. At the outskirts of Freedom City, Nanowire hovered high above the city streets. His head came up sharply, as if he had just woken up from a deep sleep. "Velocity and Valkyrie," he rumbled. If he could have smiled, he would have. "Interesting." His job done, and with other things to attend to, Nanowire made for Southside. The two superheroines would have to wait for now.

I think I'm going to throw in one more IC post in here, then we're pretty much done, I think. If somebody else has a direction we can go from here, don't hesitate to speak up.
