  1. I think I'm in love. A girl actually managed to rise to the level of "drunk bachelor" in terms of grotesque descriptions. Congratulations, Affliction. You are officially one of the guys in my book.

  4. I finally made time to listen to the second podcast. I'd have done it sooner, but things, and stuff, along with junk, kept getting in the way. Oh, and I have attempted to download the third one, but my system has not cooperated with me in doing so. Rather than blame my computer, or far more likely, my internet connection, I instead choose to blame you, and all your Aussie friends! *shakes fist at Australia, then turns towards New Zealand, looks at it for a while, then walks off.* What? At least they gave us Lord of the Rings. And Russell Crowe. (Wait, why do I like New Zealand again?) Anyway, I really like it. There is one thing I noticed about their reporting, though. They really need to illustrate why they enjoy/dislike the comics they're reviewing. Just saying "I like it" or giving things 85 and a half thumbs up doesn't really tell us much. Other than that, the pace is very good, never dwelling on something for too long, and I do like how they have it split up into easy-to-digest topics. I’ll try to get the third installment downloaded so I can listen to it during a particularly boring lecture at school. :)

  7. Feh! I was throwing up only yesterday! Your petty "nausea" is as nothing compared to the waterhose-like pressure of my stomache expectorate! I only regret the fact that pictures of my plight are not forthcoming, as I was in no condition to position my cell phone in such a way as to capture the perfect ballistic arc of my emesis. :D

  10. Man, if only I knew that book was in Chinese. That's the one other language Nanowire speaks. Too bad.

  13. Is there also a way to get a spellchecker installed? I'm not the greatest speller out there, and transferring text to Microsoft Word and back does get tiring on occation. Or maybe I should just type things on Word, then post it. :)

  16. Aw, sucks, you're gonna make me blush. Well, let's keep this train moving. I'd like to single out Cosmicarus for his trip down the rabbit hole, courtesy of Dead Boy - a very unique character, I think you'll agree. But to keep this from becoming a congratulatory circle, I'd also like to give a big kudos to both Lilac and Affliction, for presenting us with the most brutal fight I've ever seen outside of the Japanese Parliament. :)

  19. Nanowire looked down to the staff he still held in his hands as if surprised it was still there. It seemed like such a small thing, petty in it's own way. The only reason he'd taken it in the first place was because they'd needed to throw people of their trail. But that was impossible now; if the security system didn't see them somewhere along the way, the supers that had shown up knew what they'd done. The girl had said. And she was right. No way back now, but still... "Take it," Nanowire said, tossing the artifact to Heavy. "Don't really need the money anyway. Do whatever you want with it." The dull hum sound of Nanowire's gravitic impellers filled the air, and the pseudo machine lifted up into the air. "We're even now." And then he was gone, blasting away from the area faster than any eye could follow.

  22. No problem here. I sent you a PM about his "plans", if you can call it that, but beyond that, Nanowire is just walking to the approximate center of the warehouse in a very rough patrol pattern.

  25. Getting tired of waiting, Nanowire pushed himself off the wall and started a slow walk about the warehouse. Nervous energy made it difficult to settle in one place for any length of time. Dispite his depression, he couldn't find it in himself to just gather dust over in the corner. His footsteps thumped softly against the concrete floors of the warehouse, far more quietly than should have been possible given his mass. He noticed out of the corner of his optics that the other henchmen, the humans, were keeping their distance from him. They feared him, just like everybody else. Why should they be any different? Four hundred and fifty kilos of metal and myomers was fairly scary, after all. He hated them for being normal all the same.
